The atmosphere was delightful; the restaurant features a warm and inviting interior with spacious seating that made our meal all the more comfortable. It’s the sort of place where you can easily relax and enjoy the company of friends or family.
However, I found the prices to be on the high side, especially when considering the quantity of food served. While I appreciate quality over quantity, I felt a bit let down by the serving sizes given the menu prices.
The seafood paella came highly recommended, and I can understand why. It was flavorful and well-cooked, although I think it could benefit from a bit more seafood for the price tag attached. The pork paella was decent but didn’t stand out in the same way. The grilled chorizo was a highlight—spiced perfectly and deliciously savory.
We also tried the ham croquettes, which were a pleasant surprise. They were flavorful and outshone the crab and shrimp variety that we also ordered. As for dessert, the flan was genuinely delightful, creamy and rich, providing a perfect finish to our meal. Unfortunately, the churros fell short; they were soggy and soft, and the accompanying chocolate sauce lacked flavor.
Service was friendly and welcoming, but I felt it could have been more attentive, especially during the busier times when our drinks ran low and we had to wait a bit longer for our check.
Overall, the Arroz offers good food quality, particularly in certain dishes, but I think the portion sizes need to be adjusted to meet the higher price point. While I would definitely recommend trying the seafood paella, don’t skip out on the flan! With a few tweaks, this restaurant has the potential to elevate the overall dining experience further.
