ART ADVENT Christmas Market

Just lovely. Great location, easy to access. Fabulous atmosphere. The food, Christmas punch & souvenirs are all wonderful. A must if you are visiting Vienna. A beautiful city. Highly recommend. One we would visit again 👌 😊👌

A unique Christmas Market from the more commercialised ones around Vienna. The stalls here can’t be found in any other markets, especially if you want truly handcrafted gifts, I witnessed a craftsman working on his design in his stall. Great vibes and atmosphere. The open space in front of the church is covered with hay for kids to play in. They have a mini farm with sheep, goats and piglets too.

It was very spacious and well set out. Plenty of food and drinks stalls. Quite a few of the stalls were still closed during the daytime as well as the evening. The Gluhwein was really nice, the weather was too cold, but with a bit of warm Gluhwein it did warm you up.

Best of the markets that we attended. Many of the others were stocked full of mass-produced odds and ends I could order online, but Art Advent was bright, quirky, and full of life! The stalls must all sell handcrafted goods, so be prepared that overall pricing for the goods being offered is higher as its handmade jewelry, art, care products, etc. But, all the vendors we met were so genuine and excited to share their crafts with you. A diverse selection of gifts and items, but the facilities were ample and clean, with plenty of classic holiday offerings (get that mulled wine mug!) and food.

Very art / artisan focused, as the name suggests. It was quite busy in the early evening. The drinks were very good.

This market is so beautiful! The Christmas ambiance is outstanding!

One of the best Viennese Christmas markets, with lots of fine handcrafts and jewelry. All stalls put a significant amount of effort in providing their work here. Prepare yourself for a 1-2 hour visit. The prices are a bit more than other markets.

A very nice Christmas market with a focus to art. So there are many artist there before Christmas who sell their art.
