Randomly popped in for a cocktail and this place is such a treat! Kind of expensive, but you do get what you pay for. This is for the liquor and cocktail connoisseurs. I had the Havana Old Fashioned. A unique spin on the traditional Old Fashioned without going too off-course.

Art in the Age is a very special spot and a must see for anyone (21+) visiting Old City, Philadelphia. Art in the Age is a specialty shoppe, liquor store, and tasting room, all wrapped up in a beautifully space with a vintage design concept. This is the place to come for a very special gift for someone’s home bar or to curate a collection for one’s own bar. There is an outdoor space which is nicely done with a cozy selection of plants as well as an indoor tasting room. If you don’t already have a home bar, beware, as Art in the Age will have you down the rabbit hole with dreams of memorable gatherings at your swanky home bar in no time.

Wow! What a hidden gem in Old Town that I stumbled upon on my visit to Philly. This place was right near my hotel (Lokal - make sure to check out that review!). This place has seasonal cocktails that are out of this world fun and creative. I was lucky enough to be there one early evening & got to over hear the cocktail creator thinking about her next wave of drink and what flavor pairings she might put together. I was struck by the artistry behind her work. Do yourself a huge favor & stop in!

Art in the Age is billed as a tasting room and a home bar supply store. The Philadelphia store has changed over the last decade, but continues to surprise with its experimental spirits-focus. It’s a mix of historical inspirations and new, unexpected flavor combinations. If you want to browse some cool, vintage home bar merch or sample some unique spirits, this is a great one-stop-shop for the home bartender or curious spirit enthusiast. The front of the store is chock full of bar supplies, while the back features a small bar and lots of spirits. Check out the intricately designed bottles and then get a tasting flight. My favorites were the Black Trumpet Blueberry Cordial and Chicory Root Vodka. They also offer educational workshops, tastings, and home mixology training. So, check it out if you find yourself in Philly and around Old City.

What a wonderful place. I had this bookmarked for a while as I wanted to scope out the tasting room and like that they hodt special events (I.E., tonight they raised funds for Morris Rescue) . They have specialty cocktails in their tasting room but are open to making some classics. I appreciated the atmosphere which was popular enough for a Friday without feeling obnoxious. It inspires me to own a place like this in my later retirement age.

Hidden gem. Had fantastic cocktails at the bar! Wonderful experience. Also able to purchase special bitters in many flavors, glassware, small sized drink shakers. Just a great place to stop in for a drink before dinner and learn something whilst enjoying! We lived it and will be back!

Cute, plenty of options for alcohol with both a bar and outdoor seating. The street is itself calm and tree lined which makes for a very peaceful visit. This is not your traditional bar but their drinks / cocktails are great!

Their cocktails are super fun and creative. Tasty too! It's a neat little place with a bar in the back and retail space up front. The bartenders are very friendly, and knowledgeable about their products. It was a good place to sit back and relax after a hectic day at work.
