LOVE this place! The photo exhibits are always top notch! Was at the opening of The Picturing Resistance (many photographers represented) and Ken Light's Midnight LaFrontera show. The latter was about migrants in the 80's crossing the border or trying to. Fabulously emotional and sad to say, not much has changed. The owner, Alan, is so warm and welcoming. If you're a photography lover, don't miss this place, then grab a meal in the many offerings in Gilbert!

So sad they removed their gallery. It seems that they have the dark room open on weekends and by appointment only during the weekdays.

Excellent space and amazing staff. Have been going to Art Intersection for years and they are an incredible resource in Gilbert. The most clean and spectacular darkroom, computer lab, and classroom/work area. Very fairly priced too!! Love their classes and the photography and art shows are always beautifully hung and interesting.

This gallery is a wonderful hidden gem in downtown Gilbert. It has an absolutely wonderful presentation of photography and very popular art shows. Don't forget to check out their memberships and classes. You receive the opportunity to learn from modern masters of their craft.

Great work space from digital work flow to complete analog dark rooms. The galleries are fantastic best of all the shows change every 6 weeks. Rental prices are reasonable on the low end for the level of quality you receive.

Art Intersection is hands down the most amazing resource for artists in the east valley. Every show has brilliant pieces of artwork and lots are even at an affordable price if you’d like to buy. Workshops are fun and the environment is just like a home away from home.

If you have even a fleeting interest in photography, don't miss this hidden gem. Beautiful gallery and unbelievable studio with resources that will amaze. It's an amazing place that has far too many things to enjoy than I could list here. Go often because the exhibits change.

This facility is beyond words. I have never seen such a magnificent array of opportunities for anyone who loves photography. Whether your interest is viewing and collecting, or participating in the art, they offer it all.

Yelp
We've been looking for museums and art galleries to change up the day to day and add some culture to our busy lives. I was driving past this spot so I thought I would check it out to maybe bring the girlfriend and the family. I wasn't able to see any art this day but I did explore the little shops around here to also give us ideas for food when we come back. I will update my star rating when we get back here.

Yelp
I love this little gem in downtown Gilbert. Art Intersection was established in 2011. I was a student in a black and white photography class down the street at Chandler-Gilbert CC when they opened. They had asked us in our class to submit a photo for viewing for a student photography exhibit at Art Intersection. I have visited numerous exhibits over the years since discovering this place. Art Intersection is located on the second floor of the Heritage Court Building. In addition to being a gallery, they offer a variety of photography classes for both beginners and experts. They also have a wet darkroom and both a process and digital lab that you can rent out. I have taken a photoshop class here in the past and enjoyed getting to know the founder Alan Fitzgerald. He has a deep passion and love for photography and is fun to chat with about photography. Every few months Art Intersection showcases an artist's photography work in their gallery. This includes an opening night reception where you can meet the artist and chat with them about their work. It's a great way to learn about many of the local photographers here in the Valley and view their work. The annual "No Strangers" exhibit is one of my favorites to check out. They used to have a fun event called Phototapas where they would celebrate the art of photography during the month of February. If you want to check out some great photography work and avoid the hassle of a larger museum, Art Intersection is open throughout the week and is free to visit.

Yelp
I loved the No Strangers exhibit at Art Intersection. Tons of talented photographers were featured. Scott Baxter's work was my favorite. I loved how his pictures consist of sepia. They are absolutely awesome. I'd love to have something of his in the future

Yelp
My fiancée and I spent 4 weeks in Arizona working on a handful of projects. Art Intersection was an amazing resource not only did they provide us a clean, distraction free work space but the staff was wonderful. Caroline was an amazing resource when it came to the darkroom and getting our selves familiar with the lay of the land. She even helped us find some creative work around to insure that my fiancée, who is a graphic designer could have access to the needed software for his work. In addition the staff was even kind enough to let us take a look at the show that was being installed since we would not be able to see it when it opened. These guys are amazing, kind, friendly and they really make you feel like family. We will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Love this place. They have so many resources for photographers. I've only explored the black and white film developing class , but they have classes for Photoshop, Lightroom, black and white printing using an enlarger, picture framing, and lots more. The classes are a little steep at $60, but once you complete, you can come back and use the labs for only $10 an hour (even cheaper if you become a member). They set up all the chems before you show up, which is nice. They are all very friendly, very experienced, and love photography almost as much as me. I hope this place stays in business for a long time.

Yelp
If you haven't been paying attention, it's easy to miss the fact that Art Intersection opened up. And that's sad, because you're missing out on something awesome. Art Intersection is a (gorgeous, huge, airy) gallery exhibiting photography. Art Intersection is a place that offers all manner of photography workshops. Art Intersection is a place with critiques and social space. Art Intersection is a place with darkrooms and digital labs and huge Epson printers (oh my!), all available for your use at reasonable rental rates. It's the kind of place you miss once you've left the warm embrace of a university program. It's the kind of place I dreamed about making myself. If you enjoy photography, whether it's making it or looking at it, get your bad self to Art Intersection and check it out.

Yelp
If you're into photography this place has it all including great people working there. Multiple galleries and state of the art darkrooms for rent. Personally I've never rented darkroom space before but my home darkroom isn't cutting it anymore due to poor ventilation. I called Art Intersection and Gina (person on the phone) talked me over to give it a try. To sum it up, I'll never process film again at home. There lab's are professional, super clean and all the the supplies needed are supplied. I showed up with a heavy box full of my own chemistry and stuff but didn't use any of it. My suggestion to you is go there and you'll be surprised how simple they make for you. Totally awesome and as a result I'm excited to start doing personal work again. Thank you Art Intersection!

Yelp
Art Intersection is a great place to see great photography, artist books, and Arizona art. They have amazing juried shows, guest lectures, and excellent classes to learn new photographic techniques. I just took the hand coloring photos workshop with Kate Breakey. You can purchase artwork or learn to make your own in downtown Gilbert, AZ!

Yelp
If you're interested in Fine Art Photography both as a collector or as a participant, this is the place for you. The sales gallery has exhibits by important photographers and the exhibit gallery has rotating exhibits by up and coming photographers and local artists. The facility also has top quality darkroom space that you can rent by the hour with a discount to their membership. They also have workshops on many alternate processes such as hand coloring, platinum/palladium printing, tintype etc. And it's staffed by friendly & knowledgeable people. It's worth a trip to downtown Gilbert.

Yelp
Art Intersection is amazing! It's the reason I make the 45-minute drive to Gilbert from north Scottsdale. Their workshop offerings are really exciting. I just took an excellent four-day workshop there from Kate Breakey - very intense, hands-on and inspiring, with lots of new tricks learned. Art Intersection's exhibitions and lectures offer a great combination of well-established, iconic artists and the top talent from around Arizona. Art Intersection also offers exceptional opportunities for emerging artists to show their work. The darkroom and printing facilities at Art Intersection are affordable and give photographers access to excellent equipment. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Art Intersection is a great asset to Gilbert and is held in high regard by Arizona's arts community.
