Make a splash when hosting your next event or soiree! The first time I had this Iced Tea was at the Huntington Library & Gardens in San Marino, CA. - at their Jade Court Cafe. This beverage was so refreshing and delicious. I immediately went to the gift shop in search of it, but alas, they didn't carry it... so off to the website I went and proceeded to purchase a few (in case they decide to discontinue it). If you are having a party at your home and want to serve something that will have guests exclaiming your brilliance at having such a memorable flavor... look no further, this is IT! Floral in aroma, with the fruity taste of Passionfruit, you can't go wrong. Get this for your 4th of July or Labor Day gatherings!! BTW a special shout out for their 'Earl Grey Creme', it's also scrumptious, although if I'm being honest, I still prefer the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Apricot over this one. Also they only sell it in the large box if you want the teabags. Respectfully Reviewed

Customer service is out of this world! I placed my very first order with Art of Tea today and mistakenly ordered the wrong packaging for a Jasmine Pearls gift. It was easy to find their email, so I contacted them immediately after seeing the order confirmation. They responded and updated my order in less than an hour!

Google
They keep discontinuing my favorite teas. Last straw was the Meyer Lemon. BUT, they just offered to send me some of what they have leftover! What amazing customer service!

Oksana S

Google
Love the tea! But any efforts on updating your customers who ordered 10 days ago on when their orders are actually shipping? Would be great! Thank you!

Allison Seibert

Google
All of the teas that I have ordered are delicious and definitely quality. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that shipping times are very slow.

Google
THIS IS NOT A WALK-IN STORE. Shop online only as I understand it. That being said, I love Art of Tea! High quality, great selection, and very delicious teas. I’ve been ordering from them for 2 years now and have not been disappointed ever. Earl grey creme is my favorite, but we always get another few flavors with our orders and they’re all great.

Google
I ordered a matcha Infuser and unfortunately it came broken. I called customer service today and they replaced it right away. It’s on the way now. As far as the tea that I ordered I got Earl Grey cream and sleep so I don’t know about the sleep to yet, but the earl grey cream is amazing and I cannot say enough about Art of Tea‘s customer service so happy I found them. Update: My new infuser arrived today with some extras and a very nice card from the art of tea team. I was on the fence about becoming a tea drinker but art of tea customer service went above and beyond. Y’all got a customer for life now.

After tasting Art of Tea's Earl Grey Creme and enjoying it, we sent a sampler to a relative who liked all the teas very much. We just purchased 3 more tea and love them. Plus, the service is great.

Yelp
Why 3 stars and not 5??? Here's what happened to me... I placed an order on January 5, and it was a large order. Fast forward to January 15, yep 10 days, I wrote an email, I called them and was referred to email, on my order status. No reply until the following 5 days later. I was polite and patient with them. The reply was that they were out of almost everything in my order. They offered a partial refund, and I just told them to please issue partial refund and ship what they had that I ordered. I was promised expedited shipping. That didn't happen. I get my order on January 25, and I just received my partial refund a couple of days ago. Folks, the customer service is a joke. Their tea is delicious, good product, but not worth the headache to get it. I'm being generous with 3 stars. I can tell you that this disappointing experience, they've lost me as a customer. Lack of prompt communication and service, and not getting my order in a timely fashion, is the reason I do NOT recommend them. You have been warned, Yelpers! Think twice about placing an order with this business. So sorry. What a shame! Thank you for reading this...

Yelp
My tea was delivered today, along w/ a sticker reading I (HEART) Tea, which I will turn into a magnet to put on my car. I am pleased. I notice there are a couple of 1 or 2 star reviews from 2022. I was a little concerned when I read them after I ordered, but I guess they were having an off year. My experience was quite different.

Bill K.

Yelp
Right now I'm on the phone with my credit card to cancel my order. They have not shipped it and will not communicate with me. Art of Tea does not have a way to contact them by phone. By email, they said have a great day, we'll get back to you. But no one did. I tried reaching them through their account payable but got a recording they were closed for the day (a regular working day and within their hours). Art of Tea lost another customer.

Yelp
I've been very disappointed with Art of Tea thus far. I placed an order on December 3 intending the tea to be a Christmas gift for a family member. Today, December 19, I finally got an email saying my order has shipped and will be arriving on December 26. I would not have ordered this tea had I known the shipping would take so long (even longer than the 12-14 business days they promise on their website during the holidays, which is already slow). They should let people know that their orders from early December might not arrive by the holidays so potential customers can make an educated decision regarding their purchases. Will not support again.

Phil T.

Yelp
Don't waste your money. The tea is mundane at best. Bigelow can be found anywhere at a fraction of the price and without weeks waiting for the tea to arrive, and when it does, it comes in unpredictable random subgroups. I initially subscribed to have tea delivered monthly, but it was like getting agreement among congress to have them stop sending the tea. A scam of an organization.

Yelp
I ordered 1lb. Of tea. I was delivered two separate orders. I returned one and I had to fight with them, for a month, for a refund on my credit card

Yelp
Don't waste your time or money. After placing an order the only thing I can tell you is money was charged to my cc and I was given an order number. I was charged a small fee for the ability to sold as "Route Package Protection" which is hilarious in hindsight. Their customer service phone line is useless and consist of a recording that will route you to a vm box or disconnect you. Good luck to anyone trying to conduct business with them.

Yelp
Love love love love Art of Tea! They have theee cutest packaging when you order. The cutest tea containers, and cutest tea bags ever! I've tried some samples and the earl tea and Jasmine tea are my favorite so far. Everything is so strong and authentic. I haven't tried the ginger tea yet (because I'm too excited). I had my first taste a few days ago after a long day of work and it seriously made my night, and now... I drink one cup a day. It's so soothing and makes your belly feels warm and you feel so fancy! LOL I'm not sure if its suppose to be a cleanse but it sure makes me feel that way. I'm a petite person but I eat terribly and unhealthy, but drinking Art of Tea, it makes me feel so light and detoxed. I would recommend this brand to everyone! The holidays are coming up so this would be a great gift to your bestfriend, auntie, girlfriend, cousins, next door neighbor, you name it! The only sad thing is... you'll get addicted and once it's all gone, you'll cry LOL!

Yelp
I was looking online for tea filter bags for my loose leaf tea last year and stumbled across Art of Tea. I was happy with the filters and decided to try some of their teas. I'm now totally hooked on their Sleep tea, so much so that I re-ordered their 1 pound quantity so that I never run out. I literally have a cup every night before bed! Something about their blend of Organic Chamomile, Organic Spearmint, Organic Lemon Balm, Organic Valerian, Organic Lemongrass, Organic Passion Flowers, and Organic Rose Petals is very relaxing. Their teas are fresh when they arrive and can be ordered in refillable tins, or the more economical pouches. They also sell teaware which would make nice gifts. Art of Tea is strictly an online business, although orders can be placed and picked up locally at their Los Angeles facility. They provide free shipping with a minimum order. Sign up for their emails to be notified of their occasional sales. I'd have to say I'm a fan of Art of Tea.

Yelp
Best Earl Grey tea I order on the reg. Yum.

Yelp
This company uses "bait and switch" shamelessly! They advertise 20% discounts and every time without fail they don't work at checkout. They encourage you to join their loyalty program so they can harass you with constant emails and texts. Their customer support is a joke!! Don't waste your time or money!

Yelp
If you're into tea, this is the tea you need! I ordered a bunch of tea for wedding favors, the "for him" and "for her" teas. A few points to note about this place. If you're local they operate in like a warehouse. You can pick up the tea at their location but you must order ahead because, they make each batch individually. They have a wide variety of teas: organic, fair trade, green teas, oolong teas, herbal, fruit, black teas! And don't forget specialty teas. Now I know there are a few complaints about customer service on here, but I can't comment on that because I have had no issues to really interact with the people, bu who knows, maybe this review will be updated after my next order. As for the taste, I have had their orchid oolong and "for her" teas and man are they good! The taste is so smooth but packed with flavor. It is clear that they are high quality teas.

Yelp
Great tea. Everyone should try it. Ny personal favorite is the Earl Gray Creme Their team is a group of good people who are passionate about their trade.

Yelp
Are you a tea lover? Are you a newly converted tea drinker? Are you a coffee drinker that is interested in tea? Do you just read yelp reviews for fun? If you have answered yes to any of those questions then please continue to read. I was introduced to Art of Tea a couple of years ago when I was having trouble sleeping. A friend recommended SLEEP tea to me. He was a terrific friend, he brought me a 1.5oz can of loose leaf tea. Great taste, directions for seeping on the can. It worked marvels. As a tea drinker, I was always interested in trying new tea flavors. I got the Green tea sampler. Some appealed to my palette, and some did not. I tried the Matcha with Green Tea. I found my true love. I converted my spouse. I'll try to convince others. A coffee house I go to serves the Sencha. Not my favorite but a go-to out in public. It's expensive and the shipping is slow. But I'm still ordering and drinking. That speaks for itself. Enjoy!

Yelp
I placed my first order on January 8, 2022 in the amount of $110. I was very pleased with the product, and it arrived in a reasonably timely manner. I reordered some tea on January 19, 2022, and again, I had a good experience with high-quality product. On February 2, 2022, I jumped in heavier pleased with my first two experiences and placed a $299 order. That is where things went south. As of today, February 17, 2022, my order is unfulfilled with the company, and I can't get any update on the problem. It isn't a shipping issue, as the order is simply unfulfilled. All of the products showed in stock, so I am at a loss to understand the problem. I haven't been provided with a single update, but I can assure you I get constant text messages asking me to order more tea. I have sent email to their support address with no response. I have submitted a request for an update with their online submission form also without a response. I have called their customer service line during their stated business hours, and my only option is to leave a message. I have done this, but I doubt I will get a response if they don't even reply to email update requests. I see other comments with the same problem, so this must be the general business practice as a company. The values stated on their website are nonsense considering how they treat (or ignore) their customers. I am now left with the choice of simply continuing to wait and hope for the best or have the charges charged off of my credit card, as I can't even reach anyone to cancel my order. This is a terrible experience which I had high hopes for given my first two experiences. I cannot possibly recommend this company. I'm hoping that perhaps this will get someone's attention, as there are a couple of comments that received a response from the company. If nothing else, maybe it will be a clue that this is not how a company with values operates.

Yelp
Great teas... their 9PM Tea and Happy Tea are my favorites. Very good customer service too. There was a mix up in my order and I called their customer service line. The person helping me was very nice and quickly resolved the issue with no problems. I look forward to ordering from them again!

Yelp
If you've never tried the Earl Grey Creme, you are missing a life-altering treat. The Art of Tea really knows their product and is happy to share it with all who want to learn more about the perfect brew. Any one of their teas is sure to please and great customer service is merely icing on a very delicious cake.

Yelp
Great customer service. I like how they have prompt responses to questions sent through email or Facebook. I purchased the Italian Blood Orange (caffeine free) herbal blend. I had this at a local restaurant and fell in LOVE w the aromas and flavors of this tea! I had to get my hands on it! Googled Art of Tea and was super stoked that they were local. Sent them a msg asking if I could pick up my order, and they were very accommodating. As I arrived to pick my order up, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely purchase from Art of Tea again!

Yelp
Whoever answered the phone was totally rude and not helpful... She never returns calls to answer any questions. I decided to go elsewhere to purchase my teas. Nothing is worth dealing with her attitude and lack of customer services.

Petra M.

Yelp
So far I've purchased the London, Cleanse, Mandarin Silk, & Dragonwell teas. The flavors are excellent and arrive in ziplock bags for easy storage. Their communication is very efficient letting me know that my order has been received, being processed, and when it's been shipped. I've already let my fellow tea drinkers know about my find, the Art of Tea.
google avatar

Ren L.

Yelp
Placed an order for pick up with them after sampling their tea at a nearby restaurant, never received an update from them, I've tried emailing as well as leaving messages. Now I have to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Super disappointed, great teas but terrible customer service. Will be purchasing elsewhere now.

Yelp
Wow, this place is fantastic. While they don't sell to the public at their Monterey Pass Road office (ecommerce sales on their website and wholesale), my sister and I showed up here not knowing this. The woman who answered the door was kind enough to give us some very lovely, generously sized tea samples. Their product is very high quality and I will certainly order from them in the future. And I would most definitely buy from them if/when I need to buy in bulk.

Barbara B.

Yelp
Placed an order on December 2 as a gift for my sister. She has been battling cancer for four years and received a bone marrow transplant which we are very grateful. She only drinks tea and after research I found the Art of Tea. 20 days after I placed the order, I receive an email stating they canceled my order because they could not fill it. Not sure why they held my money for so long and notified me at the last moment. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Excellent organic teas! Art of Tea has many unique flavor combinations and I have never been disappointed. I have ordered the matcha, coconut pineapple, post-tox botanical tea, summer rain, and coconut lime. Today I tried doing pick up at their location in Monterey Park rather than delivery by mail. I was immediately greeted when I rang the door bell (which was locked with a sign to ring the bell) and my order was ready to go, so it was a quick and pleasant stop. Of note, street parking only is available for customers, but there was plenty of space on the street right outside the building.
google avatar

RENE F.

Yelp
Excellent unique teas from a company prided on service and product excellence. If you are looking for great teas, this is your stop. Tea of the month is a wonderful gift idea. All organic and I visited the plant and they were so kind and passionate about their products. Earl grey creme is my favorite!

Rob M.

Yelp
I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Art of Tea. I placed a small order to be shipped and more than a week later I had not received any notification of shipment but I had been sent several advertisements from the company. After a week and a half of no communication on my order, I requested to cancel my order and receive a refund but was denied because they "do not issue refunds on changed or cancelled orders". I have complete sympathy for businesses that are experiencing shipping delays during the pandemic, but only when they are able to communicate a reasonable timeline to fulfill orders. Customers are entitled to SOME degree of expediency and at the very least, upfront communication when expediency cannot be expected. I received none of those things from Art of Tea and when I subsequently made the reasonable request for a refund, I was denied. Terrible customer service.

Regan M.

Yelp
I bought this tea specifically the sleep blend. If you have trouble sleeping make a cup of this with some honey(honey has tryptophan which is also good for sleep) stay off electronics and I promise you that you will fall asleep faster than you ever have.

Yelp
This review is purely based on online ordering and customer service. Art Of Tea has great quality tea. I ordered their oolong sampler set of four. It's a great set that I blazed through. The packaging is so detailed and the box even came with diy teabags. I don't suggested using tea bags for oolong tea, but I appreciate the thought of ease. Will definitely buy from them again!

Yelp
Award winning flavors, mostly organic, and a great company with its heart in the right place! I am on a decaf kick, and the Banana Dulce helps me look forward to my chamomile tea... which in its original form, I find pretty unpalatable. If you're interested in learning a bunch of things you didn't know about tea... check out my recent interview with Art of Tea's Steve Schwartz-- TEA. GURU. http://20fourcarrots.wordpress.com/2014/11/19/green-tea-health-insurance-for-just-pennies-a-day/

Yelp
I was never a tea kind of guy but a friend introduced me to Art of Tea and I had never experienced tea with so much flavor and creativity! I'm hooked. They are very responsive and orders are delivered quickly. I had the opportunity to learn a little about how they source their tea and produce it, and I am now an even bigger fan. Do yourself a favor, try this tea.

R T.

Yelp
I received the monthly subscription as a gift and thought it was so wonderful that I would order it as a Christmas gift for my brother. I can only say that I am so disappointed in the customer service. I received a confirmation stating my gift would arrive 3-5 business days. The order was placed on 12/19. I called them today to be told that the confirmation I received was standardized and that my gift would not ship until mid-January. You can only imagine how disheartened I was. Had I known this I would not have placed the order. All the representative continued to say regarding this confirmation letter is that it is standardized. I explained that it was misleading. My suggestion to any potential customer READ THE FINE PRINT because your confirmation is just standardized. No personalization involved!! Very Dissatisfied!!

Bob D.

Yelp
I never understood why people loved tea so much until I found Art of Tea. These guys really know their tea and have converted a skeptic into a fanatic. This has become my go to present for my 'tea' friends and they get hooked as well. I'm loving that I am seeing it pop up in higher end restaurants too. I haven't taken one of their tea tasting classes yet, but it is on my bucket list.

David H.

Yelp
I'm a return customer who has bought several teas and tea pots from Art of Tea but I will not be buying anything else from them in the future. For the past few weeks I've had an ongoing and very disappointing experience with their customer service. My last order of three different teas never arrived. I called and emailed them multiple times. They first claimed UPS delivered it and made me contact them. UPS investigated it and found that I wasn't at fault and I never received my package. However, this company doesn't take responsibility and keeps giving me the runaround. Now they want to reopen the UPS investigation and drag this out even longer. It's been over 6 weeks since I've made my order. I asked Art of Tea politely, multiple times, for a replacement order but they refused. I'm really disappointed in their customer service.

Yelp
The product smells amazing and the taste is superb. We even got a small sample pack. Thanks Art Of Tea!

Yelp
We offer our patients and their families a refreshment bar which features a variety of coffee and tea. Art of Tea offers exceptional teas of the highest quality. In addition most of their teas are organic which is an added bonus.

Al M.

Yelp
Had their tea at B Twentyfour and loved it. Ordered from their website and got the same delicious mix mailed to me so I can enjoy it from the comfort of my own home! Reasonable prices, on-time delivery and amazing tasting tea=bye bye Teavana.com

Yelp
I have been purchasing from this company for years. There are a number of fine merchants, out there, but I chose Art of Tea, initially, because they are a local business and I support local businesses, whenever I can. Given that their quality is top-notch, their service is first-class and the ordering process is about as easy as it gets, this would have been my merchant of choice, sooner or later. I pretty much just get the English Breakfast tea, but I order in loose-leaf bulk and have never had a bad batch. I am a proud Angeleno and I am happy that the best company that I have found, to purchase my leaf, is also from LA. Well done!
