There is a lot of good about this place. But, the bad: you can either eat inside Tostada's where there is wine, OR you may go to the beer garden, where there is beer (food can go out also). But, you may not order wine and take it to the beer garden (outside seating and live performances), and you may not order beer from the beer garden and bring it inside Tostada's. Ugh. Major problem. Outside (beer garden) is kid friendly, but there is no wine. I wont go back because of this. But, if you like beer only, you'll like this place. Food is pretty food. Fresh.

Google
Great community art gallery with spaces for art performances & films of artists' performances, with outdoor garden for socializing & chatting with the artists after their shows. Brilliant, insightful & highly skilled artists. Really enjoyed themed 'The Body is a Home' art show including work from multiple artists. Bhavna Mehta's art installation of 'The Heart' for 'The Body is a Home' is inspiring, insightful, mesmerizing & beautiful at so many levels. I look forward to going to more shows in the future!

Great location - super chill atmosphere. If you have a few hours on a weekend, and want to kick back and relax with fresh air and natural plantings (i.e., nature), then come here and kick back for an hour. Or two. Whatever you need to rid yourself from the stresses of the work week.

Yelp
My daughter had a Juried student exhibition Honors art show here a few months back. It's a cute, small gallery. A lot of people showed up to support which was awesome. Toward the back of the gallery, they have a restroom and a patio area, that day they had a jewelry stand and bartenders serving cocktails. Drinks were decent. Great experience overall. Con is that it's pretty small and parking was hard to find. Friendly people all around.

Yelp
This is an excellent art gallery that screams North Park. So I was going to Tostada for some lunch and noticed this patio behind Tostadas. There was two people working even though it was closed and I asked them what is this place? They said it was a beer garden that also grows produce and has an art gallery. The beer is by Chuck Alex which I never heard of but the space is a nice size. With several communal tables and it's pet friendly which is so San Diego. So you can have beer and bring your own food or order from Tostada. Okay so on to the art gallery it's a little small but the art packs a punch. They have some tote bags hanging from the ceiling made of dollar bills. On the wall they have items from different businesses from Seven Eleven to Sushi bars and other local businesses. At first I didn't realize what the art was until I read the story beneath the art. This is a very cool spot in North Park and I was in the area on a Saturday night and this place was busy. So it's probably a good stop for date night.

Yelp
The gallery is small, but they usually do some pretty big thangs. They show everything from photography to installations to graffiti paintings--and I have yet to peg down the gallery owner's favorite. The Art Produce Gallery has a show once a month, so if you live in or around North Park there's no excuse. Stop by, have a cup of coffee at the attached coffee shop and enjoy some pretty fabulous art by mostly unheard of, but up-and-coming contemporary artists.

Yelp
Great little gallery with a fantastic patio where organic food is growing in beautifully designed metal containers. I have been several times, i like the vibe there. I crashed some party they were having (not sure if it was private, I just know I was not invited but somehow I ended up beer in hand and having a good time smelling the tomatoes) one Thursday night that I went to check the North Park farmer's market. You can always stop by Swoon, next door, to get some coffee/designer sweet. It is a very nice space for the neighborhood with a community feeling to it.

Yelp
What a wonderful little gallery!!! Art Produce brings some awesome culture to North Park! Its pretty cozy, but for what it lacks in size, it makes up in amazing art and talent!! This little gallery brings some culture to their corner of North Park and also has a dessert and coffee bar, Swoon, attached to it. This gallery puts on amazing shows and seems to be very community oriented. They focus on community and creating a space that the neighborhood can enjoy, whether it be attending an opening reception or just creating a beautiful space to see through the huge windows as you are walking by. There even is an organic urban garden in the back of the space, which is awesome! The owner, Lynn, is wonderful and has truly created an amazing space. I helped to curate a show for the Mesa College Museum Studies Class, and we were lucky enough to be able to use Art Produce for the show. The show, Altered Horizons, turned out amazing, and is up till mid-may. Art Produce was great and truly worked with the class to create a fantastic show. I cant wait to see what the next exhibition is!

Yelp
Boring... plants weren't maintained well. Wouldn't go back. Staff isn't overtly friendly or helpful and there was just a weird vibe.

Yelp
While I was waiting for my cappuccino at Caffe Forte, I ventured in this tiny juxtaposed gallery space to be faced with photographs of Aids victims from India as part of an exhibition focusing on a San Diego- based nonprofit organization called Project Concern International. Although there is a new exhibition presented in this venue every month, this one I deemed very relevant based on its humanitarian impact. Although, honestly, my need for a cappuccino vaporized after that jolting visual and emotional experience, as my psychosomatic- self suddenly developed the need for a tranquilizer...Cruel empathy!

Yelp
This place. I love this place. The owner is one of the nicest people in the art community, and has a real vision for a space that is inviting and inclusive. The space is beautiful, with an organic garden and awesome beer that stays open until 10PM. I love sitting out in the back with friends before going bar hopping. Great atmosphere, great art, great people.
