Google
First time in Fresno and I definitely would recommend this exhibit. The art is entirely composed by an artist John Sierra who tells an amazing story through his art. They also have awesome community events here! No set ticket price, just pay a donation at the front desk and they have a gift shop if you want to buy something else.

Very good experience. The only downside was that half the museum was closed due to a yoga class being held in the main room. Otherwise the John Sierra exhibit was great!

Stopped by on a rainy Saturday and Arte Américas is an amazing place filled with art and community. The largest Latino cultural arts center in the Central Valley for many reasons. I enjoyed every minute of my visit to experience Yolanda Lopez’s art.

We went here today to see the Dia De Muertos exhibit and I have one word to say and that is-BEAUTIFUL!!!! I went here to visit with my professor and our classmates for my Chicana Latina Studies 24 class. I've never been to the Arte`America's Museum before today and I must say I was in awe! This exhibit was truly amazing, colorful, informative, and very Vibrant. I learned a lot today!

We enjoyed looking at the art work. The staff were friendly and there was a lot to see. They had sugar skull art, paintings, and altars set up for dia de los muertos when we visited.

Yelp
Arte Americas has been a cornerstone organization for my family for many years. It brings together our beautiful cultura and the arts. It's a safe space for everyone to be themselves and show their pride for Latine/o/a/x traditions.

Yelp
Entrance donation is very inexpensive. You could comfortably take the entire family. The current exhibit on loan with the produce boxes are so amazing. Always Fresh....charcoal on Produce Boxes We also were honored to meet and get exciting information about upcoming exhibits from an executive director Ruth. It sound like a lot of amazing events and exhibits will be happening this year. Very clean facility on the inside and the staff are extremely welcoming. The outside needs some TLC but it sounds like they are working on it. The exhibits are bilingual so the entire community can enjoy them.

Yelp
My friend was nominated for Mother of the Year. We wanted to honor her by coming to her celebration. The food, entertainment and drinks were spot on. The food was catered by Garza's in Sanger. It was yummy and plentiful. The current exhibit is so unique. Everyone should visit this local gem.

Yelp
I have been here two times that I can remember but this last time, was such a great experience. We came during Art Hop and it was Dia De Los Muertos and it was just fabulous. All the variations of displays and art and work that was put into this was just awesome! The staff was great and very informative, and I would just love to see what they have for other occasions. I also came here when my cousin did a speech for a women's conference of sorts and that was set up completely different, but still in a way that encompassed the message they were trying to portray. You feel empowered coming out of there and it really gives you a new perspective.

Yelp
I sent them a message on Instagram & several of my artist friends have too also attempted to, but this gallery doesn't even look at plenty of talented small artist here in town thay are Mexican. Not even the time of day it's very sad to me to give this review but I'm being very honest vulnerable & translucent. It's suppose to be like a Mexican gallery but they only exhibit certain echalant... I'm a self made artist and I'm very proud of my Mexican heritage, my moms from Michoacan , I have some of that Purepecha in me & I would have LOVED to be given an opportunity to show case my heritage there even for a few hours but nope. I guess I don't meet their standards etc or they already have a click? But they don't give many ppl an opportunity. Or at least the Artist that I know... & thats several that can back up what im saying... if your the gallery could you pretty please give me a chance? Even outside? I don't see why not? This gallery gives certain vendors a chance?

Yelp
What an awesome place. They hold special live music events on friday night in the summer. They also have awesome art. They run off donations and super friendly volunteers. So bring your lawn chair and go listen to some awesome music. Plus they always have delicious taco trucks. They serve super affordable refreshments too. Family friendly place!!! Don't forget to like their Facebook page because they give free tickets away sometimes to their events. In fact their currently raffling off a car or you can take 8000 in cash instead all for a 5 dollar raffle ticket!!!! See ya at the next concert yelp land

Yelp
Such a great place to hang out with friends. Love the art gallery and the fact that it's constantly changing. I'm glad they display local artist. It gives you the different perspective in the way different people see art. It's very clean, comfortable, and the staff is fully knowledgeable and ready to give you a tour and offer you explanation on what's behind the murals, shrines, etc. Music was good too. Enjoyed the fresh outdoor scenery and boogied to the beat!

Yelp
Came here for a class project and the experience was absolutely unforgettable! Walk in price is Free, Staff is warm and friendly, and the art work is tightly based on the Latin American culture. Definitely worth going back at your own leisure!

Yelp
This FREE art gallery is rarely promoted in guide books which surprised me a lot because its amazing, its one of the best kept secrets I'm guessing (and a must visit), because its really nicely done and well exhibited - (something like the Getty in LA) with interesting and gorgeous work of art displayed - mainly hispanic inspired art or artist, but there are also other art, plus the gallery surrounded by historic buildings, which makes it a great pit stop after visiting the many historic building in Fresno. Open 11am to 5pm on Thur-Sat and 1pm to 5pm on Sun. Photos are allowed inside and out. The parking is also very easy to find here (have their own lot plus street around the building) and its FREE. The art gallery is not mega huge or anything, but its not small, it takes you probably 20-30 minutes to look around, they have at least 100- 200 different collection of art, and the best part you could also visit their gift shop and get some souvenirs and maybe some art for your home with reasonable prices. The art pieces changes all the time, but my current favorite is the spirit exhibit, really interesting pieces that captivates the mind. They also do have sculptures and other exhibits that brings variety. Plenty of seats inside too. Furthermore, every Friday 8pm to 10pm (do check their website because i might be outdated) they have a live music and dancing performance- mainly hispanic but its not ghetto or anything, its pretty classy and open to all demographics, and I have seen people of many races attend this fabulous event, this is an amazing outlet for anyone in Fresno looking for a fun and lively thing to do on Friday and its only $10.

Yelp
Visited this place on an evening event of Art Hop, location is awesome and available to numerous ventures well within walking distances. To view someone's view of art is a pleasure, someone who takes the time to think and put their thoughts on a board is incredible. It s a priceless art and incredible opportunity to see others ideas put onto paper, wood ETC. Interior is well designed and art is strategically placed to keep you flowing and walking to view art. A lot of dedication placed into ones art and ideas. I will visit again , art is priceless.

Yelp
An excellent museum/cultural center celebrating the arts of Mexico, Central America, and the American Southwest. I always visit in late October for their Dia de los Muertos celebrations.

Yelp
This is one of Central California's gems! Arte Americas is a great family-friendly museum and cultural center that celebrates Latino art and culture. Entrance to the museum's gallery is free and the summer concerts in the outdoor plaza are great and affordable. I highly recommended this place.
