This is my favorite café in the area. The espresso is excellent, and they also sell Italian products and fresh pasta. You can enjoy gelato and even have an aperitivo. The atmosphere is cozy, with great music and a lovely view. The terrace, with its colorful chairs, is a great spot for an afternoon coffee in spring and summer.

If you're looking for a spot with good music and good vibes in The Village, this is the place. Plenty of seating, lots of natural light, and water and bathrooms for customers. It's also one of the few places I've been to with a manual espresso machine, which adds a nice touch. The staff is friendly as well. I would say it is pricier than other cafes but not by much.

Porchetta sandwich is delicious. It’s served on a delicious focaccia bread and a pickled spread $15. Juicy, tender, sumptuous but a tad messy to eat. Get extra napkins! Only available on Sunday (or weekends - I forgot what he said). The pizzas looked good as well - next time. Service is informative and friendly. Lots of other curated Italian products for the pantry.

Beautiful cafe specializing in Italian imported specialties. The owner and chef is passionate about the quality of products and what he provides to customers. He carefully selects items to bring from his home country, striving to provide an authentic experience with his Italian treats. This is the place with the best panettone, pizzas, pasta, and bomboloni. I've seen the place transform from more humble beginnings in a different location to this new establishment. The coffee is great, and it's a nice place to come for an aperitivo with friends and enjoy some Italian treats.

A very nice cafe/bistro on Ste Catherine street east of downtown. High ceilings and large spaces. They serve delicious coffee and pastries. You’ll also find traditional Italian pizza (forno style, cut in squares). The service was good, tables spacious and clean. There are products available for purchase like pasta, sauces etc.

Very wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, and they take their job seriously. We had a latte, pizza, and a pastry and it was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was lovely! If I lived in Montréal I would definitely be a regular at this location.

Arte & Farina is a true gem for anyone craving authentic Italian bakery and café fare. The menu is a dream for pastry lovers, featuring standout items like bomboloni (Italian doughnuts filled with custard or Nutella), Roman-style pizzas, and focaccia sandwiches—especially the porchetta, served on fresh focaccia with a zesty pickled spread. The service is friendly, quick, and informative, making you feel right at home. The café’s ambiance is perfect for a relaxed brunch, a coffee break, or picking up some artisanal Italian products for your pantry. Overall, Arte & Farina is a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Italy in Montreal. Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, a savory sandwich, or simply a cozy spot to enjoy a coffee, this place delivers with passion and authenticity.

Google
The food, oh the food! Fresh, crisp, and a dream for the palette, the breads had a delicious cruch, the deserts were still warm from the over, and the pear nectar had the perfect level of sweetness to make a summer morning refreshing. We took our iced coffees to go to carry A&F's delight with us. The vibe is a soft blend of chill, accepting, and modern. But, despite all that greatness, it was the welcoming smile and hearty laughs from Florian that made us feel at home.

Yelp
They have great pastries but the coffee was so-so. The spot is great after a summer walk through Le Village and the cafe itself is spacious and has a lot of food, pastry and drink options. The service was also quick and thing I LOVED was that tax was included in the price. Just for that it gets 5 stars.

Yelp
The absolute best panettone in the world. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I ordered their panettone online and they offered to ship it to me in the U.S. when I didn't realize I needed to pick it up from the store. Opps. I order it know from thepannetone.com for all my friends at Christmas and have received tons of compliments on how good it is. Toast it and top with butter and prepare to swoon.

Yelp
Up until this recent purchase of the classic panettone at Arte e Farina, my only experience with panettone has been the one sold at Premiere Moisson locations. I have found them to be silky smooth and soft as a buttery could. Heavenly comes to mind each time I've indulged. This year I decided to try something new and shop around a little. I ended up here and quickly snapped up two and headed for the airport. Opening one the next day with my cappuccino, I couldn't have been more dissatisfied. Where's the butter? Where's the tenderness? I feel I paid for top shelf panettone and received raisin bread in return. You got me, but never again!

Yelp
I ordered Panettone from this company through a website called 'the panettone.com. I ordered a Traditional Panettone and Maple flavored panettone. When we received the order, after opening the undamaged box; the Maple Panettone had 1/2 squashed. We tried the Maple first and noticed it was somewhat stale. When then tried the Tradtional Panettone; that was a real disappointment. It was definitely stale. We immediately, contacted the website through 'the panettone.com' website to let them know we were not satisficed with the products. When I didn't get a response, we called them and left a message. Again no response. We would not buy any Arte & Farina products again and we will never purchase from 'thepanettone.com' website ever again. I would not recommend Arte & Farina Bakery or the website 'the panettone.com'

Yelp

Yelp
After returning from a trip to Italy, all four of us have been massively craving some fresh focaccia. Served plain, with onions, or tomatoes or even with raisins and sugar, every focaccia we tried in Italy was a melt in your mouth delicious experience. Unfortunately, nothing even comes close in Montreal. That is until we heard of this place. After reading about Arte et Farina, all four of us started to believe in the dream, that maybe we'd found an authentic montreal focaccia heaven. So we rushed down to Arte et Farina. To our disappointment, they were all out for the day! As much as we were disappointed, this is also a great sign that their focaccia is made daily and always fresh. Instead, we decided to try their bombolones, a custard filled fried Italian doughnut and a ricotta cake, along with a classic cafe latte. The bombolones were definitely legit, filled to order with a fresh Italian vanilla and lemon custard. I would definitely recommend these. The coffee on the other hand was pretty flat. This place definitely oozes authentic and artisanal Italian food. From the open kitchen design to the lovely Italian owner/chef you definitely feel like you just landed in the old country. Can't wait to come back and try the famous focaccia!

Yelp
After reading an article on this place, I've decided to give it a visit. I love, love, love supporting new little independent, authentic businesses! Such a charming place it is! The baker...so easy on the eyes and oh so nice! It was still very close to the opening this morning so they only had their sweet pastries out. I chose two "bombe di roma" and a slice of torto pasteria napolitana to go. As i was looking around, i noticed that they had some sort of porchetta or stuffed suckling pig on one of their racks. As it turns out, they also do their own charcuterie for their sandwiches! I can't wait to go back tomorrow to try one of the sandwiches out! It smells so good in there. The decor is simple, elegant and clean. Love!!! It's not too far from my place and it is a really nice addition to this neighbourhood! Btw, as soon as i got home, 5 minutes ago, i had to try all the goodies i bought and write a Yelp review! Lol! Everything was so good! The bombe is light, crispy and fluffy. You had the choice of chocolate, pistachio or crème pâtissière. I chose chocolate and pistachio. The torto pasteria napolitana is just sweet enough and deliciously buttery. Heaven in my mouth!

Yelp
Ok, this place is awesome and has authentic Italian bakery. The known for their focaccia, but every time I go they are sold out. So tip: go earlier. On my side the pizza, and sweets are amazing. The freshly stuff your pastries live. See my video Once u have the focaccia I will update my review.

Yelp
Although there wasn't a lot ready for sale - it was 9.30 Monday morning - when I stopped by, this bakery is about as authentically Italian as you can get in Montreal. I had a bombolone stuffed with pistachio cream that was delicious and almost decadent. Various biscuits and snack items are sold in small bags -- would make great presents. I'll be back.

Yelp
Very disapointed with the 28$ pannetone i bought. It was dry, not something you expect from a high end handmade product. Usually a good pannetone is wonderfully moist. Plus they dont even serve coffee.

Yelp
Crunchy and light crust. Succulent and sweet tomato (homemade) sauce. Not a ton of variety of pies in the middle of the afternoon, but I'm looking forward to coming back to try them all

Yelp
I have finally found the perfect Roman bombolone that I remember from my trip in Italy. The brioche is the perfect size, not oily, light and airy rolled in the perfect amount of sugar and filled to order with a lip smacking pastry cream or chocolate cream to the brim. They have a small selection of fresh pastries, many amazing looking breads, a small selection of daily fresh pizzas and a fairly well stocked supply of gressins and other packaged Italian treats. Free fresh water is available from lovely vintage containers and the coffee looked authentic to bit. Add the loveliest of owner and very reasonable prices, this is my new go to for Italian, in a central location of Montreal. Get there now, or don't and let me enjoy the silence and my many future meals in peace.

Yelp
Amazing bakery. Bomboloni are fantastic, not too oily and not too dense like what you often find. Their breads are exceptional also. The panettone are expensive but totally worth it in my opinion... If you like panettone, their's is on a whole new level. So happy that this place exists... A true artisanal Italian bakery.

Yelp
My sister and I were in Montreal for 3 days so we wanted to see as much of it and eat as much of it as we could. Being fans of Italian food we visited Little Italy and ate at Alati-Caserta for some cannolis and torrones. I asked the lady behind the counter if they made any panettone during Christmas but she said no but there's a bakery close by that makes their own panettone and the chef is from Italy so we went to go check out Arte & Farina. Although we got the larger panettone which was a little bit pricier. It was well worth it. The texture of the panettone was super light and flavourful, not overly sweet. Chef was incredibly proud of his panettones as well as he should be. The shop is quite small but enough space to sit and have an espresso. Having worked in Italy working in Pastries I can tell you this is an incredible delight to find this little shop in Montreal. It was definitely one of my highlights from my trip.
