I absolutely recommend this place! A complete interactive and multisensory experience! This has to be one of the hidden gems of Houston. I can’t believe I didn’t know anything about it until a few days ago! My friend and I went to check it out and were floored! The Blooming Wonders exhibition was amazing! Spring is my favorite time of year so I really enjoyed this! Every room was so uniquely different. We sat there for a few minutes taking it all in, sometimes sitting on the bean bags to take a deep breath and marvel at the live art. I highly recommend this! There’s also DJ nights where the lights are programmed to the music! I’ll definitely be coming back! It’s unlike anything I’ve seen and there’s plenty of parking!

Where do I even begin here… My company hosted our annual event at this venue and we always make it as extravagant as possible. Typically it was done at our HQ but decided to try out something new this time. We are glad we did. Artechouse blew it out of the water and our expectations were high! The overall feeling there feels like a contemporary art museum which I think it is normally? They had a laser art installation already set up there which was really neat. The visuals and audio for our products were top notch and we got multiple compliments from our customers about the venue and the whole experience. The catering there was also amazing. All the food provided was some of the best food I have ever had. I am not even exaggerating. It was that good. The drinks were well-made as well. The servers and bartenders were all very personable and professional. I would be ecstatic if I were to have another event hosted here which I hope is the case in the near future. Thank you Artechouse for the amazing event!

Google
ARTECHOUSE had some really cool, colorful digital art. If you go, take your time—grab a bean bag, relax, and let the sounds and movement of the art wash over you. Was it the best thing I’ve ever seen? Probably not. But I genuinely enjoyed the experience, especially spending the time there with my wife and grandson.

Google
Such a great experience overall. Every time I visit, there seems to be a new installation or theme, so it doesn’t feel repetitive. They also offer immersive rooms that really pull you into the experience. The mirror room was my favorite it genuinely felt like stepping into another dimension and was surprisingly calming and visually striking. Definitely a fun spot if you enjoy interactive art and want something different each time you go.

Google
Very good interactive visual displays combined with some immersive ones that you really had to make time for and relax into. There appears to be some core installations that were there during both my visits which were two months apart. Allow about two hours to do everything, unless you're visiting for a specific exhibit.

Google
Fun place! Go see for yourself! 🙃 I’ve visited this place 3 times already and it’s been a blast every time. Started with a free general admission ticket I received from the Gulf Coast Blood organization, then I bought a general admission ticket for myself during their holiday showcase, and after those 2 amazing experiences, I felt the need to treat myself to their VIP package to start the new year off right. Special thanks to Q, Derric, Liz, Jesus, and all other Artechhouse team members who consistently help ensure that visitors like myself have good time, enjoy the art, and leave with the best of vibes! Truly, it’s because of people like them that I keep coming back, sharing my experience with family and friends, and make it worth purchasing the VIP Package! Be sure to promote and take good care of your team Artechouse! Visitors, be sure to try their signature drinks and check out their cool merch before leaving! Thank me later 😎

Google
My wife and I had a spectacular time, and trust me—I don’t use the word spectacular lightly. I’ve never seen anything like this, and I’ve seen some weird stuff. If you haven’t experienced it yet, you really should. We loved every minute of it

Google
Awesome visual/sensory experience! Plenty to see. They have great seating options for each area and regularly reminded to sit, enjoy, and take your time with each exhibit. Many of them last several minutes and keep you hooked. I can’t wait to go back when they change the theme!

Yelp
Artechouse has a brand new holiday experience just in time to end the year and you don't wanna miss it. The themed drinks are so good and there were quite a few people in line but they got us served quickly. The exhibits are so fun. The only thing I would say is that if you aren't into art and observing it then you could easily walk through in 10 minutes.
google avatar

Yelp
I was able to go here to check out the new holiday exhibit for this year. I love how they put technology together to celebrate. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. I think you can do the entire exhibit in about 30 to 45 minutes. They had a bar with signature cocktails to coincide with the holiday. This was really cute. I loved the big tree in the middle of the floor. This was definitely a really good photo op. It was beautiful. Everything here was intense in regards to lights. I really enjoyed it.

Yelp
Went to Artechouse for the first time tonight to preview their Houston Holiday Spectacular. Let me start off by saying - great date night spot! Love the industrial vibe. They have a small little bar with festive cocktails and a shop with t-shirts, hats, stickers, etc. The actual light exhibits were great - lots of varied lasers, projectors, and digital displays. We ended up spending over an hour walking through which is longer than I expected! The tingle bells exhibit hall was amazing - can just sit back and be mesmerized by the Christmas projected lights and music. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
This place was so awesome. My kids loved it so much they just ran around the room just memorized with all the lights.

Yelp
Such a fun exhibit! Went here on a date night and check-in was a breeze. There's a bar inside where you can bring drinks inside, albeit you'd need to pay extra for the tumblrs. The tumblrs are reusable though and can be used again on your next visit to get discounts on cocktails. The art itself was super interesting- variety of lasers and screen projections. The last installation was our favorite, sequence of images and just a super cool trippy vibe. Would come again!

Yelp
A few of us pre-purchased tickets for 10am on Sunday and loved beating the crowed and enjoying a fairly clean and immersive experiential art installation-exhibit. It's $33/person but worth every penny. It took us over an hour to get through it and no one noticed the passage of time or were bothered by the spaces we were experiencing. A truly introspective and engaging time, space, light, and energy installation. I highly recommend taking visitors, or if you're on a date or need something near to do on weekend. The service was great and they thanked u for printing our tickets too. Hopefully it will still be available the next time we have visitors.

Yelp
What about experience. The first room is probably my favorite. I could lay on those bean bags for hours. It was so peaceful. Great location ample parling and friendly staff. I enjoyed the different concepts and expressions of technology turned into art. I made a stop at the bar prior to enjoying the exhibit, and the drink I got was nice and refreshing. Perfeft for the summer/fall weather. I really enjoyed the interactive pieces and the light play. 1 room reminded me of Windows 97 media player just nostalgic.
google avatar

Jackeline R.

Yelp
It's a pretty cool exhibit, it's all self guided and the people working won't really interact with you outside of the introduction. I wish it had more interactive elements, it was fun but did not live up to the expectations.
google avatar

Yelp
What is not to love about Artechouse? I came to the yelp event with my friend and the atmosphere, exhibits and drinks were amazing! I just had to bring my husband and son back on Sunday. I knew they would love it...and they did. Our favorite was the big room that had the rotating scenes. I really liked the one where it looks like you're walking into Willy Wonkas Candy Shop! It's worth the money to see that smile on my sons face. He said, "This is cool! && The Best Day Ever!" A ton of times! A must see especially for for kiddos 4 and up!
google avatar

Eva C.

Yelp
This place was so underwhelming. Wow. I am shocked by the reviews. This "museum" took my husband and I sixteen minutes to complete. I was disappointed.
google avatar

Betty C.

Yelp
Cool place! We spent almost two hours here, which is probably on the long side. lol. There's like 4 rooms that are basically different art installations but you can definitely sit there and watch the different scenes within each room for a while. Not a bad price for what you get. It wasn't mind blowing and I'm not sure I'd come back but going once was a fun time!
google avatar

Courtney K.

Yelp
Super cool experience. So I have been to Artechouse twice, and still felt like I was seeing something different both times. If you don't have time to just sit and exist... this may not be the experience for you as it truly does require that. I also wouldn't recommend bringing children under 10 as they may not be able to enjoy or understand the exhibits. I would post photos, but don't want to spoil it! I was also told the exhibits do swap out about twice a year and they are even doing a special holiday exhibit so I definitely look forward to seeing what new is coming.

Yelp
We came here on a weekday to check out this immersive art experience that comes from NYC and Miami, and we definitely felt like we were in another city for sure. The art is very different from any other museums in Houston, using references from space, and very precise light and audio engineering. My favorite spaces would have to be the dreamy starlight space and the huge immersive room. Everyone was really friendly and helpful with our entry and the booking and check in was easy and smooth. Be prepared to take lots of pics and videos! It took us a while to get through it because we wanted to take pics of everything haha. They have a bar and a gift shop right outside the exhibit as well, and would definitely recommend this experience for a date night or outing with friends!

Yelp
Amazing place for something new and adventurous to do in Houston! Love the multitude of immersive art exhibits and the collaboration with NASA space center as well as the focus on space related innovations

Yelp
I do understand that they do put a lot of work into this place and some of the rooms are beautiful but not all the rooms are good. If you are not into space technologies then you won't like this. Most of the exhibits are about sciences and space. If you prefer to see regular arts then this may not be your thing. We spent an hour in there and that's a bit stretchy too. If not maybe 45min would be enough to view all the rooms. The only one that's is most impressive is the big room at the end. It's educated but not to the extreme. I had mixed feelings at this place. Some I like and others I don't . I have been to a lot of exhibitions and this one doesn't impress me
google avatar

nathalie m.

Yelp
Not really sure what to make of my visit. It was 100% unexpected. The marriage of art and technology was interesting to say the least. The self guided tour is about 30min to Dee the whole shebang. Way longer if alcohol is involved. The last room stole the "show". If you're prone to headaches or are sensitive to strobe lights and loud noise, avoid this place at all costs. Staff was kind and engaging. Bathrooms (ladies) were unattended and the putrid smell was quite unpleasant. If you're in the area check it out. Price point was high for the exhibition. Not my cup of tea but hey...to each its own
google avatar

Kathryn G.

Yelp
Honestly wouldn't pay $30 for a ticket. It was very different something i wouldn't have expected. lots of lights and flashing noice. It's not very christmas themed if it wasn't for the open bar that we had probably wouldn't have gone.

Viktorija P.

Yelp
Amazing experience I would recommend to check it out and enjoy all activities!!! Staff is very helpful and respectful! If you're visiting Houston, Texas, go and check it out you will not regret it!!!
google avatar

Sabrina R.

Yelp
It's December and I'm always up for anything Christmas themed. They are currently having a holiday spectacular. I absolutely loved it! I've been to a lot of cool places this year, but this is definitely one of my favorites.
google avatar

Destiny F.

Yelp
Artechouse was fun, but I was expecting a bit more. The price point was fair, and the last room definitely stole the show for me!
google avatar

Henry B.

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday afternoon for their holiday exhibit. Was a pretty cool experience and glad I did it but finished the exhibit in about 45 mins. I think it's worth checking out at least once but not sure how often I would go at the current price point. Would probably be more fun if you make use of the bar before going in tbf.
google avatar

Sheilisa D.

Yelp
Couldn't believe my eyes. I was 1,000% immersed. These installations are incredible! Wow is really all I can say. You have to see it for yourself but I would visit a million times if I could. Not only is it beautiful but informative as well. I felt like I was taken on a journey about life/space/science. The staff are very friendly and the space is very clean. There's plenty of parking as well. They have a cool looking bar inside as well. Best immersive experience I've been to to date :)
google avatar

Sandra K.

Yelp
Some of it was a little loud but everything was really cool. We brought our two year old and we were both overstimulated by the music and sights which is the entire point of it but just a fair warning to be prepared. Everything was really beautiful and unique and so glad we got to go to this.
google avatar

Pauline O.

Yelp
These pictures don't do the exhibit justice, especially the big room with pictures from the James Webb Space Telescope. I sat in that room the longest because I am obsessed with all things space. I enjoyed the whole experience, but I think this is a great place to go on a date or with a child that's potty trained and older. Unfortunately, I came with my infant and we hit a few bumps. For example, you aren't allowed to take your stroller into the space, so carrying my 20 pound baby through the exhibit wasn't fun. Once we were done, the baby needed to be changed, but they didn't have a changing table in any of the bathrooms. I would definitely come back without the baby.

Yelp
Artechouse is SO COOL. We went on a whim after grabbing lunch in the area and I am glad we did! It's a modern art exhibit with plenty of lights and lasers. As soon as you walk in you get a space station feel from the entire operation, not just the exhibit. As you enter turn right and that is where you can get tickets and merchandise. There is a bar you can grab drinks from before, and specific drinks you can bring into the exhibit with you. The exhibit has tons of space where you can just hang out and enjoy the art, and also has interactive pieces where you doing something results in a change to what you are seeing in the area or on screen. The exhibit was pretty calming when I went, and was a nice break from the heat and the hustle and bustle of Houston living. Tickets were $33 a person, they do offer student discounts with a valid ID. I have been telling all my friends about this place and can't wait to take them to check it out.

Eric C.

Yelp
Great service, do not need reservation to get in, great experience. Unique drink, great immersive cards as a bonus, great customer service

Ruby B.

Yelp
pretty expensive for the experience. all the employees looked bothered to work there except one very nice guy at the front who checked us in. the others based on their tone, facial expressions and posture gave the vibe of IDGAF. the exhibit was mesmerizing i.e. the lasers and crazy lights but the holiday part was not "spectacular", far from it. i also did not get the interactive part. it was pretty much look at the lights and that's it. also the music was not very "spectacular" either. very short exhibit for the money, very short. do not recommend.
google avatar

Holmes G.

Yelp
Run, don't walk to this! It is absolutely amazing. It's definitely a great date place, and your kids would enjoy it also. They have installations in new york, dc, and miami. Calling it "immersive art" is kind of a cliche these days, but there's really no other term for what they do. They had three different exhibits, some of them with bean bag chairs you could lay in. They completely replace exhibits about every 6 months so they stay fresh. It is mind-blowing. Very trippy. They also have a gift shop and a cocktail bar with carefully curated drinks. A little bit on the spendy side, about $25 per drink, but very well thought out. It's kind of cool to have a couple of drinks and then go back into the exhibit. There is no time limit on how long you can spend there.

Kisha M.

Yelp
I was absolutely blown away by our visit to the Houston. My son recommended this exhibit, and I could not be happier that I took his advice on visiting we loved how different this exhibit was all the effort and all the technical skills, designs and pure genius of the creators was most appreciated. The entrance fees were not too steep considering all there is quite a lot to do and see. It is a great time, learned so much and definitely recommend taking the kids they will have a great time.

Bartholomew J.

Yelp
Drinks are splendid , Roman suggested Stardust and Life Of A Star. Roman was amazing ! Highly recommend coming

Paula D.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for a date night as we had never experienced anything like this, but have always wanted to. I will say, like most places, they put the best parts of the exhibit on the pictures online. The immersive room was by far the best part of the experience. Roman, the bar tender, was top notch! Great customer service, drink suggestions, and unique, tasty cocktails. You have to buy a $5 tumbler to be able to take the drink into the exhibit, making the drinks $21 a piece, so I thought that was on the pricy side, but that wasn't his fault. Ha!
google avatar

Franco R.

Yelp
Awesome experience! A must see if you're in Houston! This must be seen to believed and words cannot describe!

Selah N.

Yelp
Disregard all the negative reviews, the exhibit was incredible and the staff was so welcoming. Your experience is based on your interpretation and appreciation for art. I went with a friend and felt like we could've stayed for hours and hours. The exhibit invoked emotion based on the amount of sensations triggered by the art, sounds and visuals were incredible. 10/10 can't wait for the next show.

Tam H.

Yelp
Art and technology merge in this museum like venue. Great descriptions for each exhibit to understand more in depth what we are looking at. The interactive rooms are unique and worth the price. Lots of seating to better the experience... not a place you can run Through quickly.... To many details would be missed. Plan on 1.5 hours to fully take in Artechouse!

Elaine P.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Artechouse on opening day, June 21st. We were extremely disappointed. You could see everything in 20 minutes, and that's if you take your time. We didn't feel anything we saw was overly amazing or original or mind blowing in the least. The ads hype it up and make it out to be something it is not. I'll give credit for great marketing, but the actual experience does not live up to expectations.
