Day trip in Tahoe with a friend, she was craving Greek, so we stopped in...
Pros: very friendly waitstaff. Tasty food! I ordered the stuffed chicken breast, loved the sauce that came with it! My friend ordered the salad with figs, also tasty. We split both entrees, which was a lot of food!
We ordered 2 desserts to go, a stuffed chocolate cake/brownie in the same baklava filo (sp?) dough, and of course a baklava! We asked for them to go, thinking we'd try them later...when we weren't stuffed (we were both quite full!) However, when the desserts came bagged up, my friend suggested we try a bite of the chocolate one since she could tell it was warm. Well, one bite turned into two, then three, then four, then more.... Until we demolished it!!
I didn't take any pictures since we were deep in conversation as well as starving when we were given our food, but thought about taking a picture of the very empty container of our delicious chocolate dessert! I didn't though, it wouldn't have been the prettiest picture (we literally demolished it!) we did save the baklava for later...Mr. Falafel still wins on best baklava (Morgan Hill, CA)
The fig salad was tasty, but I accidentally dropped one of the figs on my sweatshirt, which then had several light purple stains after lunch!
Cons: if you sit outside, it can be cold, since it's right by the lake. The inside feels more like a diner (it's not, but gives off that vibe).
I have had takeout before, which came to the house not that great, but if you're craving Greek and able to go to either restaurant, I'd suggest that. And I'd also suggest saving room for their chocolate dessert!!
