Lots of shade from trees and very quiet place. Our large group of 70+ is lucky enough to get the Shelter without a reservation which is near to the community center on a busy Easter Day. We thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. Restroom and children play areas are closer to the Shelter, ample parking and it’s free. However Shelter area is ok in the cleanliness but the restrooms can be improved.

Came here for Halloween trunk or treat event. Nobody organizing the lines for candy. 2 booths "trunks" were rude while handing out candy stating it was only for kids. I had a mentally challenged adult with me who likes trick or treating, so be kind. It was an event for the Public, regardless of age.

We had fun on the Easter egg hunt here, The park is not that big compared to other nearby parks.

This park is family friendly and clean. They have a walking path, basketball courts, and rest rooms open during the day. My son is 12 and plays basketball there and many times joins others and enjoy a walk.

Located next to a library, it is the ideal spot to read at the benches under the trees. The neighborhood is quiet, and regulars are friendly. I was able to concentrate on my work and return the books I read at the end of the day.

Came here while I waited for a oil change today. Quiet lil park. Maintenance guy was cleaning the restrooms when we first got to the park and he actually took his time and didn't do a rushed job. Park looks well kept. People were out walking for exercise, few people playing on the basketball court.

Yelp
Nice park with lots of open area. They have baseball diamonds, basketball courts, climbing play structure, and covered picnic areas.

Yelp
My kids train here at least twice a week and there's plenty parking....and the basketball court isn't overly crowded. There's a lot of places to eat around here too, and at the stop sign you you make a left and explore India town! It's clean, safe area, and there's usually plenty seating area for everyone so I can also wait on my 2 year old to have her playtime while I relax

Yelp
Playground: Skip for young children. There are sand wasps digging holes in the sand. Flies and mosquitos swarming the garbage cans. Teenagers hanging out in the late afternoon. With so many parks in the area, there are easier ones to play at. More stars for picnic area and organized sports area, but we came for the playground equipment.

Yelp
Their baseball fields are nice, clearly they pay attention to detail now that all the rain is done. Nice job park staff

Yelp
It's a nice park but not too big. Not my favorite park.i was only there for my run! It's peaceful not packed. It's clean. But I wouldn't recommend it if you going for a run or to exercise.

Yelp
Busy on weekends. Empty during the morning. Small playground for kids, a hidden tennis court and 3 adjoining baseball fields (weird). I play basketball here every so often in the morning and I tend to see (and smell) people smoking weed. Its annoyi ng but what can I do?

Yelp
Park is ok. 4 softball fields, playground, and basketball court. I only come here when my daughter has travel softball games. Snack bar is ran by Artesia Punishers travel ball which is decent. They used to have the best chicken bowls but they don't taste the same anymore. Bathrooms can get dirty like most parks, depends on who is running the games/tournaments because they have to put toilet paper and soap in there and some don't.

Yelp
Peaceful, lots of trees, and plenty of grassy area to lay around. It's in the corner of Clarkdale and South St. It's right beside Holy Family Catholic Church and Artesia Library, and across City Hall. This park is not very busy at all, at least during the daytimes I've driven by and stayed. It's a really quiet park, which I enjoy.
