Arthur & Sons - Review - Murray Hill - New York - The Infatuation
"Arthur & Sons, the Italian American spot in the West Village, is a place where you can listen to Sinatra while sitting in a scalloped red leather booth that’s conveniently unburdened by decades of cigarette smoke. Their second city location (there’s one in the Hamptons) has arrived in Murray Hill, complete with chicken parm and red sauce.
We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
A friend and I found this gem when we were in the neighborhood looking for dinner. The staff was friendly and welcoming so we stayed. We sure were happy we did.
The pasta was delicious, and the sauce was just right. And... the show stopper was the dessert our waitress suggested, a lemon pie!!!! I wish someone took a picture of our faces when we took our first bite. I have only tasted a dessert that amazing a few times in my life (and I typically would never order a lemon dessert).

Big portions. Delicious Italian food just the way grandma used to make it. Inventive cocktails. And all in a great space. A fantastic choice for an after work dinner.

I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, especially the pasta, meatballs, and chicken parm. This is a standout Italian restaurant in East Midtown, easily one of the best in the area with a very accommodating and kind staff. While it’s on the pricier side, the warm atmosphere more than makes up for it. It's a fantastic spot for a night out with friends and family.

This was the worst Italian meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. For the appetizer, we ordered the artichokes which were solid. Aside from that, everything stank. The $45 gnocchi was gooey, clearly store bought, and served with tomato sauce straight from a can. The eggplant parm was tasteless and was literally bigger than my MacBook Pro. It really sucks cause the place has potential in a nice atmosphere and good staff. I ended up spending $120 on those items and gave 70% of the food to a homeless guy after the meal. I felt completely ripped off, but at least I got to feed the homeless!

We stayed at Pod 39 and had nightcaps at Arthur & Sons after long days of exploring NYC. Trey the Bar Tender made a perfect Old Fashioned and was just a fabulous young man to talk to while enjoying. Highly recommend having a drink or two here. Definitely ask for Trey!

Charlotte had the best recommendations! The eggplant stack and the shrimp alla fantasia are my favorites. Definitely will be back. The cosmo diavolo was fire - spicy yet delicious. Highly recommended!

Lunch. Chicken was good a little pricey for lunch. Paper napkins. Had to ask for bread. No side pasta. It was ok. But nothing spectacular.

We just had one of the worst meals of my life. Overpriced as hell, the food was tasteless and so bland. I truly felt I got ripped off. Skip this restaurant...
