"Great American Restaurants often boast similar menus (though Fairfax also boasts a location of Ozzie’s Good Eats, which is more Italian-leaning), but they’re beloved for a reason: consistency and good service among the highlights. This standby still draws crowds for jambalaya pasta, Tex-Mex egg rolls, and pecan-crusted trout." - Missy Frederick, Eater Staff

One of the better ones of the Great American Restaurants chain I have been to. Service was good despite being a really busy day (Valentine's). Tex Mex Egg Rolls in all the restaurants of this chain are always a must as appetizers. Fire Cracker Shrimp was quite flavorful as well. I got the Crab Cake & Filet Mignon. The crab was good quality (as usual as well in this chain) and filet was cooked perfectly at medium rare. Grilled Tuna Filed Greens and the Goat Cheese Pecans salad were fresh and well seasoned. Lastly, we also ordered the Pecan Crusted Trout, sans the pecans, and as you can see it was a good, decent portion (sometime fish dishes tend to be small portions for a high price, but not here). I'll certainly be back to this place in the near future. Make sure you have a reservation as it seems to be very popular.

Checked out this place because it was nearby and the reviews were good, and it did not disappoint. It's got a nice boat theme going on with some model boats in displays throughout the restaurant. There's plenty of space, not crammed like some places. The service was very good, I was impressed with it. Ended up ordering a chicken Caesar salad and it was delicious. Would highly recommend!

Google
This place is a Fairfax staple and does not disappoint, I definitely recommend this restaurant. I've been goin here with my family for over 20 years, however since I moved to another state I had not come back for a long time, it has been many many years and I'm happy to say nothing has changed. It's still the same high quality, very delicious, well attended restaurant it always has been, it's a local staple for a reason. The drunken ribeye and blackened prime rib are my favorite but everything on the menu is yummy and everyone that ordered loved their food. Service was great attentive and friendly. A+

Google
Phenomenal food and even better service! We had Harrison as our waiter and he was so nice and gave great recommendations. Would definitely come back! Drinks were great as well. Loved the mango martini

Google
The calamari was amazing. Salmon was okay at best as it was very bitter tasting. Our server was very friendly and helpful.

We recently had lunch at one of the Great American Restaurants, Artie's, and we always leave satisfied every time we come here. The food is excellent, made with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with balanced flavors. The steaks were perfectly grilled, and the crabcake was delicious as usual. Their Lobster Bisque is one of the best in the area – a creamy soup full of lobster flavor. The service is top-notch, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu items, and his suggestions were good. We like the restaurant's classic decor with old-world charm; it enhances the dining experience.

This is easily one of the best American restaurants I’ve ever visited. The chicken tenders were incredibly tender and buttery, and the burger was packed with amazing flavor!

Last week at Artie's in Fairfax, celebrating my husband's Christmas Eve birthday, we were so grateful to be able to dine there. The food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding as always. It was also the last time I wore my ring which may have fallen off my finger while walking into/out of the restaurant, or while retrieving a napkin I dropped. Cold weather that night may have loosened the fit. I've checked everywhere several times, including with restaurant staff, their Lost/Found, the parking lot, etc. to no avail. Just putting this out there to the community if anyone has seen it. It's a gold ring with a light aquamarine baguette, not a valuable stone which has many distinctive flaws. I got this ring 40 years ago while expecting my first child...and I'm heartbroken to have lost it. If anyone has come across it please let Artie's know. It would be a true Christmas miracle.

Yelp
We frequent Artie's too often! But we just can't help it! The atmosphere is so warm and cozy while the food is to die for! Our kid has baseball practice right next to this place twice a week so we have tried literally everything on the menu! The pecan, goat cheese starter salad is my fav of all times! I can't visit without this starter salad! Best part, it's always always consistent!

Yelp
I've been back to Artie's a couple of times since my previous review and I felt that an update was in order. On both visits, I had the blackened prime rib and it exceeded in terms of expectations, quality, and in comparison to earlier experiences. In the past it had always been quite good, but the last two times, it really was superb. Absolutely a precisely done medium rare, perfect marbling ensuring tenderness, and the blackening was not overdone in the least...it complimented and highlighted the flavor instead of dominating the palete. The loaded baked potato was sensibly sized (i.e. not a huge, messy, caloric OD) and well prepared. While I'm not the world's biggest bread pudding fan, I have to say that it hit the spot in a way that I hadn't anticipated. Highly recommended. As always, service was prompt, polite, accommodating, and efficient. Thanks Remy and Mimi!

Yelp
I'll start with the positives... the customer service here was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and courteous and took good care of us throughout the night. The vibes and interior are also great... very warm and cozy. Now let's get to the food... I ordered the crab cake and filet mignon (5 oz). The crab cake was good but very small in portions. Also not much crab meat either. The filet mignon was overcooked for medium rare. It tasted dry and hard to chew. I think this might be the worst filet mignon I've had in a while. The salmon dish was just ok... nothing noteworthy about it. The highlight of the meal was the calamari. The sauce is so delicious! I think I'll stick to the other Great American restaurants.

Lorraine T.

Yelp
I don't understand why I seem to ALWAYS get shorted when I order curbside. ONCE AGAIN, tonight, I didn't get extra bbq sauce for my kids ribs as requested AND no honey mustard sauce for 2 orders of chicken tenders. Not to mention, the ribs are as black as tar. Why does the chef think this is acceptable?! He (or she) wouldn't serve food like this if I ate in. So incredibly annoying to get home and see this!!! WHO IS CHECKING THESE ORDERS BEFORE THEYRE PACKED UP?? Guess I'll have to drive a little further for Mikes. I'm so done with Arties.

Tom T.

Yelp
Excellent. We stopped by as a party of six. This place was "hopping". Yet, our waiter handled our orders with ease. All entrees were excellent as in tasty and pleasant to the eye. This place is worth a visit. Go and enjoy.

Kay P.

Yelp
Typical American cuisine chain type of restaurant ~ Service was pretty simple and sort of slow. Vibes are a lot of older people or families. Ozzie rolls were delicious! Chewy and fun bread texture - nice and warm. The calamari was also pretty good; a little heavy. Pasta was also delicious but extremely oily and a bit more on the heavier side. Their salads are also pretty good! Also tried their fried chicken sandwich - also on the greasier / heavier side but good! Overall, a little too heavy for my taste but 6.5/10 not bad!!

Yelp
I remember coming for brunch with my parents here as a kid ... and now I'm having brunch here with my own family! This Great American Restaurant has stood the test of time -- it looks almost exactly the same as when I was eight years old. Even though it is old, everything is still super clean and well maintained plus their menu has all of the GAR classics that we've grown up and loved. My daughters DEVOURED their salmon and fries while my husband and I dug into their salads. We had a flourless chocolate waffle for dessert and it felt like we were being transported back to the 90's when life was a little bit more simpler. Service was awesome and I have noticed this location seems a lot quieter and less hectic than the Sweetwater a few minutes down the road. I'll definitely keep this in mind for dinners night out with family.

Harold G.

Yelp
Business dinner that went well. The Calamari was great loved the Tai sauce sweet and spicy. The service was friendly with several servers assisting our table. Casual atmosphere with a good crowd for a Wednesday night. Nice bourbon selection.

Zack G.

Yelp
Large restaurant with classic American food (and a few more unique options) served in both a dining room and a bar I came here on a Friday night with my GF and, even though the place is sizable, it was packed! We were glad that we made reservations. Our waiter was very friendly, our portions were huge, and our food came out incredibly quickly! $1 for a bread basket, but that $1 is donated to help support food insecurity (love this idea). For your breadbasket you can choose between 2 different types of bread, or get a combination of both types. The type we got honestly tasted exactly liked fried dough. I'm not complaining, just noting... Tasty looking cocktails as well, but we didn't try them Part of a DMV restaurant group My GF and I also got a hot fudge sundae for dessert, and it was both enormous and delicious! The hot fudge was also served separately, so we could even distribute it as we ate into the sundae Downsides: -I got the burger and it was pretty overcooked/low quality meat. (The fries and toppings on the burger were pretty tasty though) -There was also some food residue left on my plate from an incomplete dish-washing

Yelp
Wanna show people you have class? Bring your date here. Great food, great service and a classy establishment that can be casual. Try the blue crab fritter appetizer. They are like crack.

Brandon B.

Yelp
I've always been a big fan of the restaurants in the Great American Restaurant group, and I've pretty much hit them all--except for Artie's, until yesterday. I can confidently say that Artie's lives up to the high standards set by the rest of the group. The food and service were excellent, just like I've come to expect! The place was packed when we went, especially for a Wednesday night. We ended up at the bar, which was jumping! Despite the crowd, our orders were taken quickly, and the food arrived in record time--super impressive given how busy it was. I went with the chicken tenders, and the portions were so generous I had to take some home. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. One tip: definitely make a reservation to guarantee a seat. We almost missed out! Thumbs up across the board--highly recommend Artie's if you're looking for great food and a fun atmosphere.

Christina W.

Yelp
It was alright. We went on New Years Eve with a reservation and felt rushed. I got the prime rib and my husband got the ribeye. Both meats came out way charred, which I definitely did not expect on a prime rib. It wasn't a bad meal, but was the worst prime rib I've had. We just moved to VA so maybe that's how they're cooked here? I also ordered a cup of decaf which wound up being $4.25. WTH! Oh, and I swapped out a loaded baked potato for the side salad, and they uncharged me $3, without telling me. I don't mind paying for up charge but a house salad should be an equal swap. And I should have been told ahead of time.

Julia W.

Yelp
My family's been coming to Arties for years. Service, quality of food and ambiance of the restaurant has been consistent and unchanging for many years. Compared to some other fancier steak houses, I like the variety on the menu and more reasonable prices for the quality of the food plus service and dining experience. Everyone is SLEEPING on the Chicken Tenders. My favorite dish to get here, it is tempura batter deep fried and one of the most succulent chicken tenders I've ever had. Their shoestring fries are also great. Always my go-to dish. Their salads are great, fresh and good portions. I like doing a combo of appetizers sometimes of the blue crab fritters and a salad, and the portion size is so good that it is enough for a solid lunch or dinner if you're not too hungry. The blue crab fritters are amazing, chock full of crab and shrimp and deep fried with a crispy exterior. The corn and sauce is a great accompaniment to the fritters. Jambalaya is also good, however I recommend the most the Chicken tenders, blue crab fritters and any of their steaks if you are feeling spendy. Lastly they are great at celebrating birthdays and will decorate a birthday dish for you.

Karla P.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the roll basket especially their butter. I got the filet mignon and thought it was cooked wonderfully. The restaurant is definitely a pricier place. I would recommend coming here for a special occasion. We went for a late thanksgiving lunch. I would definitely come back here! Also, their bbq ribs were really good too. The interior is like any other fancy restaurant so nothing too special but it is well kept. The server was pleasant.

Camy K.

Yelp
Super clean and warm feel inside the restaurant. The time gives the vibe of an upscale diner which it is. Every dish we tried was solid. You do have to pay for bread but I can understand the need to combat food waste. The calamari was my least favourite dish today it felt a tad too soggy. But the flavor was there. The beef (steak, patty and the pieces on the solid) were all executed to perfection on the cook. Service was very attentive. Top notch all around. Prices are a tad on the higher side but nonetheless for the quality of what you get, highly recommended.

Shelby P.

Yelp
Great American restaurants you can always count on the service. Everyone was so welcoming. They had great options of specials for the night and service was quick on a busy night. I think everything we had was pretty good. We got the tuna salad, ribs, and crab cake with filet. The side dishes of the brussel sprouts were great. I think the mashed potatoes were pretty subpar but mostly creamy. Good amount of options but would love to see macaroni and cheese be an option as a side dish. Also wish bread given was warmed as it was pretty cold.

Dave F.

Yelp
Luv luv this place. Every meal has been absolutely amazeballs! Service is awesome..Thank You.

Cris Q.

Yelp
Excellent food always just mouthwatering burgers and filet tips with pasta but they run out so order fast and pecan trout and the salmon anything is lovely. Hot fudge Sunday a hit and only GAR who has it

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Service & Food is really good from here! The ambiance is very boat vibes vintage kind of reminds me of Clyde's. The bread bowl is the best especially when hot with the sweet butter! Everything on the menu is a 10!

Tom O.

Yelp
It's an awesome experience. Clean, unique atmosphere, superb service, great food in the typical Great American Restaurant (GAR) chain menu. I only wish they would not put eggs in so much of the menu. I have an allergy, and even the French restaurant menus are not so difficult to navigate. It makes it hard on the servers too, who are running back and forth getting allergy info from the kitchen -- simply because there are eggs in things that typically don't have eggs at other restaurants. I recently ate at Ozzies, another GAR down the street, and they were much more accommodating, particularly with dessert options.

Wendy S.

Yelp
We met my family while visiting the area. My uncle told us that Arties is one of his favorite restaurants! It was a very hot day, so we were happy to go inside to air conditioning. The inside was cool and quiet. The pleasant and efficient server took our drink orders immediately while we looked over the menu. We started with the Community Bread Basket ($1.00) with a choice of Ozzie rolls, Best Buns bread or an assortment of each, served with honey butter. My sister and I ordered the Crab & Corn chowder ($8,00) which was very good and filling . It had a good amount of flavor and lots of corn and crab. My uncle loves the Wood Grilled Filet Mignon and a side (8 oz...$43 6 oz...$36). so he enjoyed his lunch. My aunt had the Warm Goat Cheese & Spiced Pecan Salad ($10) which had field greens, sun dried cranberries, dates, tomatoes, garlic croutons & champagne vinaigrette. She said it was delicious - all the flavors blended beautifully and the champagne vinaigrette was amazingly good! My husband had the Bacon Cheeseburger ($18)- Certified Angus Beef®, Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, wicked sauce & fries. He said it was good, but not great. Just not that flavorful. I would go back again to try some other things as the prices are reasonable.

Claudia N.

Yelp
I'm so sorry to have to write this but this is our favorite restaurant. We had reservations for this evening and had to cancel because my husband has the flu. We were charged $10 for the cancelation. I understand policy but I also worked in customer service long enough to know that sometimes policies can be changed. We have been going there since it opened. Maybe my husband realized this but I doubt they will have a problem finding a replacement couple. It is Valentines Day!

William H.

Yelp
Food was fantastic! It was a standard busy Friday evening, but our server was very attentive and was able to answer our questions. We were a table of four and the wait for food and drinks was not long at all. We got two drunken prime ribs, the salmon dinner, and the crab cakes. Everything was perfect. Must go back!

Alyson M.

Yelp
What a vibrant spot on a Friday night! As we walked in and later as we left, the busy dining room had a line of people waiting in the lobby for their reservations and a packed house surrounding the bar. Laughter and libations filled the restaurant. The upscale boathouse themed restaurant has a casual but classy vibe. There were families, couples on dates, and groups of businessmen all with a locals feel. Our food was fantastic and the server provided great recommendations and service. I had the baked chicken and it was flavorful and moist. I loved the angel hair pasta and the veggies. I will definitely be back to eat the same meal again it was that good!

Ebony W.

Yelp
Good food, and good people! The steak is delicious and there's a pecan apple pie! EAT THE PIE! They even have good sweet tea. It's a good place to slip away to for lunch or dinner.

Richard G.

Yelp
This past Wednesday , my wife ordered a 6 oz filet with baked potato and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was overdressed, the filet was dry, hard and overcooked. The only thing edible was the baked potato. It was overpriced at $50 for this meal. We've tried this restaurant several times recently and it appears to us that they've changed their food vendors for the worse, at least as far as the meats. The results are not good. We chose not to complain in the restaurant because then they send the manager over and try to do triage. The basic problem is the quality of the food has gone downhill and their prices on everything, across the board, have gone up substantially. I recommend that you avoid this restaurant.

Victor P.

Yelp
ridiculous portion size, costly for the kind of dishes they didnt update anything old carpet dark place server good unfortunately he couldnt do much we can see the consequences of the pandemic. i wont recommend this place.

Louis M.

Yelp
We recently dined at this old GAR favorite,Artie's, in Fairfax and was very happy with the restaurant as a whole. Wonderful ambiance, perfectly cooked and served Ribs, great management(Ryan from Patsy's), easy parking, and great value.

YarnFunYoga E.

Yelp
Part of the Great American Restaurant group. Good dishes, try breakfast or lunch. They have a decent brunch. Pricey but a nice dining experience. Too expensive for take out.

Eddie S.

Yelp
Food was good but service not good today at about 3pm. It started out well when server took our order. Others brought appetizer, salad and meal. No one took plates after completion except other servers and we had to flag people down when we needed things. The waiter did come back to collect check. I don't know what his problem was. My date complained and asst mgr gave my date a free to go dessert. End.

Mama S.

Yelp
Let's start with the positives- great food. My meal was absolutely delicious and the sundae was to die for! However the service was... not it. I felt honestly mistreated and like I shouldn't be there. We ordered the Ozzie rolls and they didn't even bring out the plates. Long story short we ate off the wrapper and the waitress didn't care to help- felt like savages just trying to have a nice birthday meal. I felt rushed with the service and like I wasn't a real customer. ambiance was nice though and I would definitely return for the food!

Tim K.

Yelp
What a gem. I'm here on business and happened upon Artie's because it's across from my hotel. Warm and comfortable atmosphere with excellent service. Thank you, Mimi. I eat a ton of fish and Artie's Pecan Trout is in the top 10 easily. I loved this and can't wait for my next trip to the area.

Steve S.

Yelp
It was a busy place. Parking a problem and a bit hard to find even though a local. Had to wait with reservation but no problem as came early. Booths and service OK. Food nothing special to me as not willing to take on a 22oz blackened prime rib or any other monstrous meat special. Spouse had salmon which was liked but not the smashed potatoes. My martini was watery weak. I had pork ribs as beef not available. OK but not tangy or what I am used to Chicago style. French fries were good. Placed smelled a bit old. Like an old Wisconsin supper club that smoked and grilled too many dinners and too long unchanged. Tables were sticky and tacky. Needs a deep clean. Forgot the take home from my meal but glad as would have tossed anyway. If you want too much to eat and OK food this will do well. Waitress tossed the bill over the railing onto the table while talking to friend. Tip down 5% accordingly. Kind of a bigger than normal chain steakhouse place. Better places in genre elsewhere.

Ben R.

Yelp
Arties is easily our favorite family restaurant. It isn't a place that is reinventing food or anything, but quality and service are high and consistent especially relative to the prices. We like most of the restaurants in this family of restaurants, but arties is number one. Doesn't hurt that it's the closest to us.

A H.

Yelp
My favorite up-scale restaurant. It's a winner, along with a number of other Great American restaurants.

Sandra F.

Yelp
This weekend was the first time we tried Artie's. We had outstanding service from our waiter and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. Our waiter was an absolute pro from his first greeting. We were warmly welcomed and offered the specials. I saw the menu on line and knew what I planned to eat until he shared the fish special; halibut on a bed of mascarpone polenta with roasted tomatoes and a basil pesto. All my favorites wrapped into 1 meal. It tasted as good as it sounded and was presented on the plate as a $100 a meal restaurant would have it. Before this, my favorite restaurant for food and service was Capital Grille. It's so expensive that it is only a once a year anniversary treat. Artie's is outstanding and priced where we can become monthly regulars if we want. Our waiter, David, could easily thrive at a high end restaurant with his exceptional service. David (I believe the 215 on the receipt may be the employee number) I hope management knows and appreciates him so he stays because we will ask for him when we eat there in the future. The only thing I can find that is disappointing is that my meal was a special rather than a regular menu item. I sure hope I can have it again. Thank you for an outstanding meal and service.

Thuy V.

Yelp
Over the years I have really grown to appreciate the Great American Restaurant group. They are consistently good food and service in a nice atmosphere. Artie's recently reopened and I can't tell that the interior is any different. I wish they continued with outdoor seating. On a Friday lunch it was very busy although we didn't have a wait. We had to pay for ozzie rolls which is ok, they taste like a mix of donut and roll. I had the warm goat cheese salad which was good as usual. My hubby had the crab cake salad and he said it was surprisingly good. I wish it was just a tad bit less expensive, but there are not many restaurants like this in Fairfax where you can cater to wide palate with a nice (but not upscale) atmosphere.

Thomas A.

Yelp
Great food, great service. A wide variety on the menu I to choose from and the atmosphere is always energetic.

Charles C.

Yelp
Ordered chicken tenders. They tasted extremely fishy like they were fried in same oil as fish products. Yuck! Sent back with two of four uneaten. Brought to attention of waitress. She said she would bring to managements attention. No manager came to the table and no adjustment to check. Won't be going back to this restaurant for sure!

James O.

Yelp
My wife and I went for Easter brunch. Food as always along with service was top notch. I like Arti's. The restaurant gives me that when I was a child (many moons ago LOL) and my Mom would take me to a cool restaurant for dinner after church type of feeling. Again food selections were great only thing was, they discontinued Chicken and Waffles on the menu. This was sort of a let down because that was the dish we had many times for Easter Brunch. When I asked the manager he explained that upper management revamped the menus throughout the Great American restaurants after the fire. I look forward to the next time my wife and I have dinner here. I hope that maybe upper management can find it in their heart to bring back the Chicken and waffles. Thanks for the good times.

Miles W.

Yelp
Since moving to Alexandria in 2022, this was the best restaurant I've visited. The food, service, and ambiance were all on point. Artie's is a huge crossover success between having a casual, business, or romantic outing.

Herbert M.

Yelp
Could have been better. Our first time here. We were seated promptly (with a reservation). The waiter came, took drink orders, all is good. The shrimp fritters were very good. we both liked them. About ten minutes after ordering, a woman came to the table and told me what I ordered, a drunken ribeye, was out. She offered the non marinated ribeye, which i took. The waiter came by and said dessert was on the house for the inconvenience. My husband's filet was good. My ribeye was raw. I tried. I sent it back. A man came to the table and asked if i wanted anything else on the menu. I really just wanted my steak. It came back pretty much cooked to death. Man was surprised we had not been given steak knives. The guy who offered us free dessert never came back. This was not a $50 steak. Not even close. We cashed out and left. Not a good experience at all. Sorry folks. New to the neighborhood. We were hoping for better.

Jesse J.

Yelp
The food here is generally really good. But I went yesterday and got the pecan crusted trout. It was the best fish dish I've ever had in my life. Trout is trout but the sauce was what made it. I don't know what they put in it but it was insanely good. And filling too.

David Q.

Yelp
Thayer is awesome! Great young man with a strong knowledge of the menu. Had a fantastic meal that started with hand crafted cocktails, a lightly breaded calamari and their signature bread basket. We decided to top that off with the Waldorf salad with the filet beef tips and crumbled blue cheese. One of my favorite places for lunch. The service is strong, the food is delicious and it all comes with a warm and friendly ambiance. We will be back! Thanks again Thayer for your prompt and friendly service. Happy Holidays...

Elaine G.

Yelp
Came here for late night dinner with my bf on my birthday since it was so close to our new house. Since it was late night and my bf already had appetizers with a few of his bosses, we ordered a drunken rib eye to share and a kids entree for the side of fries and side of fish. The steak was very well cooked and the food tasted as expected. We would return, one star off for the lack of crab in-house prior to sitting since that was the reason we didn't get any apps

Bode P.

Yelp
The ambiance here was absolutely incredible with the interior design being like a river house. The servers were also very kind and made sure that you had a great time. The food was also really good at an affordable price.

Sam B.

Yelp
We have been coming to Arties's for years and it never disappoints. My favorite is the fillet and crabcake. Ozzie rolls in a chopped salad round out the perfect meal. Leave room for dessert if you can!

John F.

Yelp
4/2/22 This place reminded my wife of Saltwater Saltwater Tavern. The layout of building reminds me of Clyde's Tower Oaks. Especially with pictures of the outdoors. This place is very busy and nearly every guest are not wearing mask. In the beginning I saw none of the staff wearing masks, but soon this changed. Our server Sophia wasn't wearing a mask, but later put one on. The first thing I noticed about our server are the diamond stud earrings. They reminded me of the Minnie Mouse earrings my wife bought for herself. Only they were aquamarine. I have since bought my wife Emerald Green and Amythest and Sapphire. Anyhow, my ordered Corn and Crab Chowder and The Loaded Baked Potatoe without bacon. She doesn't eat pork products. I ordered The Jumbo Asparagus, Sauteed Spinach, Grilled Broccoli and Sliced Apples. Unfortunately, this side dish I wanted came covered Vinegaritte sauce pretreated. Sorry, I can't handle that. I had to forgo the apple slices. My meal came out just fine, but unfortunately my wife's meal did not. The Corn and Crab Soup was very salty like Veruca Salt. If this wasn't bad enough, my wife found herself eating pork slices in her soup. There is no description of what is in The Corn and Crab Soup. If there were, my wife wouldn't have ordered it...or at least modified the order. Sophia apologized profusely for her mistake and quickly fixed the problem. My wife tried a different soup called Lobster Bisque. The Lobster Bisque had white line patterns in the orange soup. This sauce or cream gave off a bitter taste and my wife could not eat it. Once again Sophia apologized profusely and fixed the problem without any blame. A replacement of the some was brought out minus the white cream/sauce. The Lobster Bisque now had sliced chives in the soup. It looked delicious, but I don't eat lobster and or crab. I don't like the taste of them. The overall service of from Sophia was good, but it took a good fifteen minutes to get a refill on a cup of water. The other person I asked never brought me water after asking us "Is there anything else I can do?" Still, It was busy so I don't hold this against her. I would come back here again. Finally, the men's bathroom most areas are clean, but urinal mats truly needed in this section. I could see the news article placed in the boxes by the unirals are a distractions to some male shooters. Steven Seagal said "never look in a direction the gun isn't pointed." Six points to you if you know which movie that line is from. I hope this problem can be taken care of soon. Remember, were you walk, you might take it with you...especially in the bathrooms. The next time we come here, we might bring some friends.

Artie's never ceases to serve! I've been coming here since I was an adolescent & I've never had a bad experience. I usually don't use the word 'never' so much, however you will not be disappointed. The quality of the food & the efficiency of service is on point. Only thing I'd say is if you'd like to have a more intimate time while eating, don't sit at the bar because it's loud. If you do choose to sit at the bar though, one of the bartenders there, Remy, is super friendly, and remembers all of his customers!
