I have owned one of their aprons for five or more years and loved it and it has been a constant companion to my making violins, violas, and cellos. It is a well made apron and at the time, it was made customized without pockets, which for me as a violinmaker was useful. I recently approached them about making a new apron just like the last one, and unfortunately their policies about customized aprons had sadly changed. I find this approach to a handmade item rather disappointing and more what I would expect from a more factory approach to making items. So, I would give them 5 stars for the product, but only 3 stares overall because of their inflexibility to work with the specific needs of customers.

The Artifact Bag Co. canvas and leather lunchbag stood out in GQ when I first saw it. After finding that these simple quality-laden products were made in Omaha, I was very proud of this local talent. Doing the right thing isn’t always the easiest thing, but am very delighted that Artifact has held its ground. Well done sir!

Found them by searching for American made bags. Their website was great, I found the exact style, size and color I was looking for. After I completed the order, (which was easy since they have Amazon pay among their options) I was surprised by the speed of delivery. In current environment and compared to other small/medium sized businesses, shipping was very quick - 3 days from order to receipt. What surprised me the most was that I got emails all along the way letting me know status and how I could track. The purse is exactly what I expected and quality is excellent. I will use it everyday. So happy to have found a new brand. I'm done with the big names and their over-priced, over-branded, minimal quality.

Artifact bags are simply gorgeous. Beautiful materials, earthy yet elegant design, and amazing high quality. I love mine! Stop by the store on Leavenworth in Omaha - the space is inspiring, they stock a full selection, and the owner is friendly and interesting. I can’t say enough about this great business and its products!

Really neat place, I enjoy just looking around even if I don't end up purchasing anything. My all-black backpack is my favorite item I have from Artifact. The leather is top notch and the stitching is very well done. I prefer to buy things that will last in the long run and with Artifact, I have no doubt that all my handmade items will last me a very long time.

My niece, who lives in Bellevue, had read about Artifact, and was really excited to learn that the products were manufactured right next door in Omaha. I am from Indiana, and I have been very unhappy that a certain formerly Indiana-based bag maker had moved its manufacturing out of the U.S., so I suggested that we check Artifact put when I came to visit. We were amazed and delighted to find ourselves being welcomed into the actual studio, to see bags and aprons being handmade by three artisans right in front of us, and to be allowed to explore the work and storage space. A fabulous experience, from which I came away with a purse made of vintage awning fabric, a prototype camera/messenger bag, and a great memory. I will be telling this story for a long time!

I just received the Knitting Tote Bag in Olive Green. It is absolutely beautiful - the workmanship is outstanding. I highly recommend supporting this great local business.

Go nowhere else to fulfill your everyday and travel bag and accessories needs. Down to the stitching and color of the zippers, these products are a show of how devoted they are to character and quality. All but the hats and tshirts are HANDMADE INHOUSE, and there is no shortage of selection. The store has a wonderful modern-antique atmosphere, and the staff were splendid.
