Artis Lakewood

We have been to Artis for dinner and brunch several times. The food and drinks are always delicious and presented beautifully, and we look forward to their seasonal menu changes. Each visit, we experience incredible service that stands out among other restaurants. The hosts are welcoming, the servers check in frequently, and the chef even stops over to thank you for dining at the restaurant. Artis is a wonderful and unique addition to the Lakewood community!

Artis Lakewood is a fantastic spot with a stylish atmosphere and welcoming staff. The menu has a great variety of drinks and small plates, and everything is crafted with care. The cocktails are creative and well-balanced, and the presentation is top-notch. It’s a perfect place to meet friends, enjoy a date night, or just relax with a quality drink. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a trendy, comfortable bar in Lakewood.

My partner and I walked over from our house and had an absolutely incredible experience at Artis. The service was top notch. Our server Mary was amazing, so warm and attentive. The chef and owner even came by to check in, which was such a thoughtful touch. The cocktails were to die for, especially the tequila drink with the mango foam on top. Truly the best cocktail I’ve ever had. We lived in Portland, Maine for a while, which is arguably one of the most underrated small food cities in the country, and the bold flavors and creativity at Artis instantly brought us back. This place is a gem. Easily the best food in Lakewood. Highly recommend.

First time dining here and every bite of everything we ordered was wonderful. The kimchi fried rice was so amazingly crispy (we are in fact enjoying the leftovers right now for breakfast w fried egg on top). I don’t think I could go back and NOT get that again. My husband had the 8oz filet with Artis sauce and it came w a balsamic greens salad on the side. Filet was cooked perfectly, it was delicious, the sauce was great, even the salad was wonderful. I got the ahi tuna with a crispy rice cake and it was SO good! It was my husband’s birthday so he splurged and got this chocolate brownie sundae. It came with a choice of Mitchell’s ice creams. It was everything a chocolate dessert should be haha. Every bite was perfect. We’d love to come back again!

The cocktails were the best part of this restaurant. Fitting as this is located in the corpse of Side Quest. The food was really pricey for the serving sizes. The food was also just ok. I was expecting a lot more from each dish, the most disappointing for us was the kimchi rice. The waitress we had was so kind and she told us a little about the history of this place, but it didn’t make up for the food.

I finally got to visit Artis last night for an early dinner with a friend. I was pleased to discover it has a convenient parking lot beside the building. Upon entering, we were greeted by two well, dressed hosts very professionally. And seated without delay. Our server was exceptional, although she did not give us her name. Early on in our arrival, we asked to switch tables because the air conditioning was near us and we immediately were relocated. No questions asked, and we were very comfortable. The menu has fabulous options we had delicious espresso martinis followed by delicious dirty martinis. We ordered some shareables from various parts of the food menu, including Splitting a steak and theletting us have our half of that steak cooked two different temperatures. Absolutely every bit of the food was divine, extra special, and unique, and we were over the moon! Lots of oohs and ahhs! The decor is cute comfortable and lovely! We will be back super soon and frequently! Absolutely would give more stars if I could!

We have had the pleasure of dining at Artis several times now and the food, service and atmosphere is always 10/10! Can't wait for our next visit.

Dining at Artis was amazing from the moment we arrived. Every plate was time perfectly timed and absolutely delicious. Tuna crostini, lobster soup dumplings and scallops are a must. But truly, every dish was incredible. Save room for the sticky toffee date cake. I don’t like desserts - and I wanted to order a second. Kudos to the chef and staff for a wonderful dining experience!
