Artis Restaurant

I have visited the restaurant for a few times already. The food is always amazing, you can really taste the good quality. The menu changes seasonally and the dishes are varied but always tasty. Right now, I strongly recommend the duck, it was really good! Their home-made sorbet is also my favourite dessert!

The interior design is gorgeous!! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, how quiet it was by design, the practical employment of mirrors so staff can also see around the corner, while keeping it all stylish. The service was incredibly welcoming and attentive, there was no unnecessary lingering, everyone was friendly and approachable. There was no unnecessary waiting at any moment nor did it feel rushed. All suggestion from the maître d'hôtel were also perfect, whether it was for the apéritif or wine. The menu was small but there were still so many varied options, including a menu de dégustation and we were later told that it changes regularly. The chef himself is also very affable and made the rounds of every table. Overall a marvellously pleasant stay and definitely a new favourite.

Artis is no doubt my favourite place and everyone’s gem in Luxembourg. I’m really touched by the food, from which you can really feel the sparkling passion of the chef for food and cooking. The taste of everything, from appetisers to wine list, let alone the courses, is well considered, designed, synchronised and balanced. Menu is updated frequently with fresh food in season. Service is warm, generous and lovely. Food can convey emotions and really touch people - this is something I only saw in “Ratatouille”, but I feel it and taste it with my palate here. Artis creates wonderful experiences and carries my best memories with Luxembourg.

Pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything was very good. I would recommend the octopus as starter. Was delicious. And the praline as dessert. We paid around 140 eur for 2 persons for a 3 course meal.

I have recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Artis in Hesperange, and it was an outstanding experience. Located at 407 Route de Thionville, this newly renovated gourmet restaurant offers a delightful blend of refined cuisine and a cozy atmosphere. The menu is diverse and features a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes. All dishes were exquisitely prepared and melted in the mouth. For me the main course was a highlight, the meat was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a delicious sauce that enhanced its flavors. The presentation of each dish was impeccable, reflecting the chef’s attention to detail. The service was great, with the staff being both friendly and knowledgeable. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The wine list was extensive, offering a great selection of wines. We have chosen a Luxembourgish pinot gris that paired beautifully with our dishes. One of the highlights of our visit was the dessert. The chocolate fondant was a perfect end to our meal, rich and decadent, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Overall, Restaurant Artis is a must-visit for anyone in Hesperange looking for a high-quality dining experience, presentation and quality of food are gourmet level. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere makes it a top choice. I highly recommend it! Our dog Toffee was also welcomed in the restaurant and he enjoyed the evening calmly.

Delicious! I highly recommend the tempura de scampis to share (might be a bit spicy if you're not used to it). The burrata, simple dish, well prepared. Loved the gnocchi with hollandaise sauce. The filet de boeuf never disappoints. The sorbets were refreshing and light- great way to end the meal!
