Artisans' Guild Gallery

The gallery is open regularly and they represent a large number of local, accomplished artists. The facility is, in fact, an old Sears House, a historic example of how prefab was first concieved. History buffs will love it, too. They are part of Gainesville's monthly ArtWalk event that takes place on the last Friday of each month - the Guild features one of their member artists each month for the event. Because they are staffed by member artists, you'll always have wonderful conversations with he art/staff when you visit. Love this place!

My wife and I were impressed with the quality of art done by local artists. There's quite a variety -pottery, cards paintings, jewelry, etc. We ended up getting two pieces of art. One, a stylized photo of a stand of bamboo (we've never bought a photograph before now) and the other a colorful layered painting using watercolors and colored pencils. Both works were quite striking. Stop by if you like good art.

I like going here for gifts. There is free parking in a lot to the right if you’re facing the building. (The women at the register didn’t know anything about the on street parking.)

Just went there and it was absolutely stunning. The guild is staffed by local artists and an artists featured will be the one to assist you as well. There's a bit of something for everyone from small postcard sized prints to full oil, water, encaustic, or fabric paintings. Jewelry, clothing, leatherware, linocuts, and more are also featured. We were assisted by the lovely Bettianne Ford and I purchased some of her glassware. I've posted pictures of some of the art they have. New things are always coming and they even bring in new artists every 2nd Sunday of the month. COME SUPPORT THE TALENTED ARTISTS OF GAINESVILLE!!

A beautiful local hub of art and creativity. A wonderful place to go to support your local artists.

A wide variety of artists displaying interesting mediums. We went looking for an ornament and discovered that many of the artists had an ornament selection. Lots of different materials, some very whimsical and others quite elegant. There was also pottery and jewelry and woodworking along with a few paintings upstairs. I encourage anyone to go check it out!

I hadn't been here in several years and stopped by today to a different location. I could be wrong but I think it's a bit smaller- any way the space is divided up into about 6 different rooms and that might make it feel smaller (each room is pretty small). The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and here the second week of November they have started to put out Christmas themed art. It's a fun place to wander through to pick out a unique gift.

A nice gallery that sells work by local artists and jewelry. The art tends to slate towards landscapes and so forth. I'd like to see a little more adventurous art.

Beautiful gallery with unique one of a kind items. I love supporting local artists. Reserved parking across the street.

This co-op art gallery is excellent. It's spacious with lots of unique hand-made artworks. There are 50+ members, so the variety is unsurpassed in this area. It's a great place to buy gifts, jewelry, pottery, paintings, textiles for you and your home and much more. Parking is not the best, but it's worth it if you have to walk a little ways.
