Beautiful! Lunch in the Artisan Bar - Special birthday treat from two of my besties just before Christmas '24. The Bar is at the end of the Promenade, which is popular for afternoon tea. The 3 course lunch was simple, yet tasty British food. Don't be fooled by the portion sizes....it was very filling, we needed doggie bags! The silver service was impeccable, the decor was luxuriously glitzy and the peaceful but welcoming atmosphere was only interrupted by the live pianist on the Liberace piano. I felt very special and couldn't help but admire the space ....... and the ladies loo!! A lovely experience! Dress code.

I visited the Artists’ Bar when the newly refurbished ground floor of The Dorchester reopened in January 2023. I was very pleased to see the space reimagined & reinvented without losing an ounce of its élégance - as evidenced in the marvellous marble pillars & floor, the exquisite plaster ceilings and all the chic soft furnishing. I had two signature cocktails - ‘Stamp Duty’ and ‘Love Lies’, and a langoustine small plate, which were all very delicious. The glamorous bar is also adorned with the famous Liberace’s piano, which has been carefully restored for live music every day at the bar.
