Amazing. Highly recommend. Artistic and historic-wise, this is a must visit place in DC. Docent is such a valuable experience. Definitely book your spot and plan your day. Concert followed by docent is nothing but impressive. Music is beautiful, venue is gorgeous. You can spend a perfect day here. All staffs are amazingly helpful too.

This Club is sandwiched between the White House and George Washington University. It is a private club but open to the public during certain hours. The historic building is worth the visit and you can visit certain rooms that have art hanging on the walls. You can also use the facilities for events. If you enjoy art and a quiet atmosphere this is a very nice venue.

Came here just now (before 1:30pm on a Saturday), with online and the sign saying this gallery is closing at 2pm. Very rude lady comes to the door and begrudgingly opens the door, repeats they are closed 5x. No explanation. When asking when they open again, she says, “I don’t know, maaaaybe next week.” Was hoping to check this place out because we love art and music. If you are closed, and that differs from your online and actual hours, at least post that somewhere.

A majestic house with a legacy related not just to James Madison's residence there, but his early months as President as well as it served as the US Executive Mansion while the White House was being repaired after War of 1812. Great facilities for socially distanced meetings, a small theatre, an intone meal with a world-class chef, a quiet courtyard, and endless stories of fascinating individuals!

This was an unexpected treat for me. I received an email about a dinner theatre production about the pending election and decided to go. The location is quite historic and beautifully furnished. There are documents signed by early presidents on the walls. The courtyard in back was charming and features a relief of a bygone scene. Though it is a private club for artists and collectors, the location has regular openings and lectures revolving around the arts. The event I went to was affordable: $40 for a buffet dinner, a 90 minute musical, and a dessert spread afterwards. The members were all very friendly and informative, lively and welcoming.

I felt really welcomed going in by the staff at the door. Very professional and sweet. I will definitely visit again
