"Arts Market, Leslieville by Rob Fujimoto. When I walked into Arts Market for the first time I thought “What a great idea! Why didn’t I think of it?” Well, I didn’t think of it; but it’s a good thing that market coordinator Daniel Cohen did. Arts Market is a space where artists can set up their own shop and display their work along with other artists and their shops all under a single roof. The great thing about walking through Arts Market is that each artist/vendor has created/designed their own space so you find yourself drawn in not only by the art but oftentimes by the unique personalities of the “micro” shops. The work available is as wide-ranging in scope as you might imagine: organic skin creams, handmade stationery, leather goods, repurposed wood, fashion, jewellery, paintings, photography, vintage, furniture."
Ok experience. There is not easy to access with stroller but they are offering help for that, what is cool. Mostly local hand made products and some cool artists have their stand here. Some products are extremely overpriced. Not very busy. Lady who work at register was really friendly. I personally wasn't amazed but there is some cool art that I would like to have but for regular people budget very expensive.

Excellent store to buy various treasures from local artisans. I bought two beautiful hand made Christmas ornaments for gifts. I also bought a really cool bottle opener that was hand made by a local blacksmith. So it's an excellent store with lots of great items. It's a super way to support local artists. The staff are also very nice and helpful as well. I highly recommend the Arts Market!!

I love the Arts Market. The amount of fantastic talent and creativity blows my mind.
I am an artist myself, opening up this week at the 2nd location of the Arts Market, located on College Street! The prices are so reasonable throughout both locations.
I am truly ecstatic to be involved in the Arts Market.
I love how this store brings artists, artisans and creative souls together.
Check it out!

Arts Market is my new favourite place to hang out. It's really difficult to get bored ina place with so many things to look at, such as vintage clothing, antiques, natural and organic skin care and food, jewellery, paintings, photography and much more. I love getting the opportunity to meet the people behind the masterpieces, including the super friendly and helpful staff, and supporting local artists and artisans. Other bonuses are the events and workshops held on site, and the fact that dogs are welcome!

The Arts Market is a unique concept for Toronto. It features artists and artisans of a wide variety of disciplines all displayed in a beautifully designed space. All artists involved are dedicated to their art and/or craft and this shows with their unique "booth" designs and the high quality of work offered for sale. The Arts Market is truly a gem in the city of Toronto, where I have found it difficult to find hand-made items, locally made.

Yelp
Big fan of this type of shop, an opportunity for local artists to share their wares.
There is also one down the street, check out both.

Yelp
There is no secret that Toronto has a huge arts community but did you know we have a huge craft community as well? Rather than wait for the holidays to find a well-made, one of a kind piece owner Daniel Cohen wanted to create a space to give artists and crafters a space to sell their goods year-round.
The market itself is big and beautiful with a well-curated list of up to 40 vendors ranging from crafted paper goods to delicious smelling bath good to vintage clothes.
If you're just looking to support local artists or looking for a new place to support, this place should be on your radar.

Yelp
I dropped by looking for art supplies but was pleasantly surprised to find a supplier of local art instead. It has a huge variety of items and is generous with giving out the artists' names and other locations.
It is a little pricey for the specific items it sells, but since each piece seems to be hand made I suppose that is the reasoning behind it.
I will definitely return to thoroughly investigate their vintage sections!

Yelp
I am feeling this place. I popped in yesterday and found a magnet that had a knife toting shreddie announcing the following: "I'll cut you." YES! That is my idea of a quality craft item and deffo worth the $2 investment!
This craft market has what you'd expect - various crafts from local artists. Stuff is well laid out and I enjoy seeing the antiques intermingled with the items for sale.
I am interested in their learning to knit class coming up in February. If I end up signing up, that's something I can strike off the bucket list.
If you are in the hood, I'd stop in for a gander.

Yelp
The Arts Market is an absolutely stellar place to find unique gifts at all price points & for all occasions. The owners are always friendly and helpful, and they've curated an outstanding collection of local artists and craftspeople for the shop.
There's always something new to see, so it's worth dropping in any time you're in the area. Shop local!

Yelp
My review surrounds mostly the owner and my encounter with him at the "Arts Market" on a weekday afternoon. As an Individual who lived for many years in the area before and after it was gentrified, I was involved with a local community organization that assisted women and families.
As part of our fund raising we approach local businesses to see if they were willing to participate and donate anything (anything at all - even $10, a $3 button), to a cause that benefits the WHOLE COMMUNITY.
Before I even spoke a few words the owner Mr.Cohen was already shooing me away, s if i was a 8 year old selling cookies, before even giving me a few seconds.
This individual's behavior was rude, crude, pushy and similar to to a used car salesman. I have never ever experience anything like that before in my lifetime in living in Toronto, and my interactions with its myriads of different groups.
Many of the wonderful small stores, understood the term community and donated upwards to $50 of merchandise each, yet this individual would not give a minute to speak.
