The selection of books here is stupendous. The niche is art books, and things like that. I found some great things. Wish they made shipping easier and more streamlined but its alright. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable too! Just make sure to have nice British friends to send you the books in the post when you come.

A fantastic range of art books, as you might expect, many of which you'd be hard pushed to find on the shelves of a general bookstore. Whatever your interest, you'll find well selected books on architecture, design, fashion, photography, illustration, fine art, theory, history of art, typography and music. Especially good is their extensive magazine selection with many titles that would be extremely difficult to come across in most retailers. The shop is small and when it's busy, it can be quite tricky to squeeze yourself between the shelves, the central display and other customers, but with a bit of determination is well worth it, Their website has links to both a new books and a new magazines blog that's worth checking out.

Artwords is an incredible bookshop specialising design, photography, architecture and art. While small they hold a large number of titles. The team working are polite and friendly whilst giving you space to look around, an achievement in a small shop. I always find something new and interesting when I visit Artwords; great for my mind, not so great for my bank account!

Artwords is such a great place to have in East London. During lock down the lovely Ben called me to take payment over the phone as the website was not working for me. Ben even delivered my order to my house-excellent customer service and fantastic range of books and magazines. Keep up the good work guys!!

Love this place, I think they usually do like a 10% student discount. Great selection of books, everything you need if you work in creative industry, architecture, design etc. Amazing selection of magazines. Can't go wrong with a little visit. Staff are helpful.
