Hands down the best Indian food in this area! Tasted like a piece of heaven the first time I tried it and it’s been consistently good ever since. The garlic naan is so soft and buttery, just melts in your mouth. The chicken tikka masala was also delicious and the meal comes with a generous portion of rice. I’ve had the mango lassi and the mango shake and I enjoyed both. On the dessert side, I tried the gulab jamun and rice pudding. I preferred the rice pudding but the gulab jamun had an interesting taste to it and I’d try it again. If you’re looking for value for money, I recommend getting The Feast. It has two mains, rice, dessert and three toppings. It’s a great way to try out some of the menu items at a reduced price. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the area. It gets very busy on the weekend so if you order online or over the phone, add an extra 15 minutes to whatever wait time they tell you.

I ordered a chicken dish for takeout and waited about 30 minutes at the restaurant. After that, I drove around 45 minutes home. Once I got home, I realized they had given me a vegetarian dish instead of the chicken I ordered. When I called the restaurant, they told me I needed to drive all the way back, return the vegetarian dish, and then they would give me the chicken. Considering the long wait, the long drive, and the fact that the mistake was not mine, this response was very disappointing. I also found it unreasonable from a customer service and food safety perspective to ask someone to bring food back after it has already left the restaurant. The staff said this was “management’s policy,” which makes the situation even more frustrating. Mistakes happen, but how they are handled matters. Unfortunately, this experience showed poor customer service and lack of accountability.

While visiting the area this establishment was highly recommended by family living nearby. A great first visit filled with a deliciously fresh tasting lunch. Food was very flavorful and and fresh. Waiting time upon ordering was fast and the dining area was clean. Seating is comfortable and dining area is spacious. Entire staff is friendly and professional. Hostess/cashier named Olivia was helpful in choosing dishes and kind. I left very full and satisfied and brought home some leftovers from my Lamb Tiki Masala lunch special. This is a must rerun dining destination when I return to visit the area!

Some of the best food out here without exaggeration. I come here regularly and it never disappoints. The food tastes so fresh and flavorful and the service is consistently great. I always refer anyone here and they’re never disappointed. These guys are the real deal don’t miss out!

Had a terrible experience here last week. We have a nut allergy in our party and confirmed three times to make sure there are no nuts in the Butter masala gravy. But when my niece had a bite and she had an immediate reaction:( And when we called the restaurant they were not at all apologetic :() I dont know if I am going there again.

Far and away one of the best Indian style take out food around in south Florida the service is amazing.

Great prices and friendly staff. The chicken curry was a little sweet for my liking but the food was overall good. They offer a meal combo which gives you the option of trying different mains- it comes with rice, bread, and dessert.

This review is for delivery only and boy does Arun's deliver!! The food is amazing and so flavorful. Every time we order we are wowed by the portion size. We always have leftovers which is a great thing. The samosas are flakey outside and packed with deliciousness inside. The onion and veg pakoras are still crispy and fresh even after delivery. I really enjoy the jasmine rice. It's cooked perfectly and stays light and fluffy even when warming leftovers the next day. The Chicken Makhani is wonderful and again a large portion. I've tried mild and medium spice levels so far. The medium has a nice flavor to it but isn't burn your face off spicy. I think on my next order I will dive in and try the hot level. Oh and the naan! The naan is really good too. We can't wait to visit in person. Highly recommend Arun's!

The moment you walked in the door the wonderful aroma danced to your nose. The person talking the order was very helpful as it was my first time. Once we received our food it did not disappoint.

SO flavorful!! I'm obsessed with the chicken tikka masala! The rice is sweetened to heighten the curry's spices which make for a wonderful combination. Inside is a very spacious restaurant with amble seating to enjoy your meal. There is a separate area to try their taco station (this was a unique concept, I'll have to try this one day) and a separate area to order off the Indian menu Service is quick, your food is served in plastic containers (easy for takeout) and styrofoam bowls and plates.

Really like the concept here at Arun's. Here they offer a blend of traditional Indian cuisines with adaptations to fit their audience such as providing a dining style that is similar to chipotle-style approach. You can order a traditional dish, tacos, or a bowl at the counter and then they bring it to your table. The portions were very agreeable. Food quality was delicious. We got 2 bowls, Chicken Tikki Masala and Curry Chicken and added some optional toppings, with a side of Garlic Naan to share. So delicious and casual spot for Indian food. There is a sister restaurant to this nearby in Coral Springs - but that location does not offer the "Chipotle" style approach of customizable bowls or tacos only regular dishes.

I order from Arun's all the time! I was a loyal customer to their Coral Springs location, but now they are closer to where I live! Everything I order from them is excellent-the dal soup, vegetable curry, rajma, baingan bharta, mango lassi, & the list goes on! I've also ordered catering from them & the prices are reasonable because an order of rice comes with the main entree! Service is wonderful! It's a family owned restaurant & they really make sure the service is warm & friendly!! Warning-the food is spicy, so mild is actually still seasoned well with a bit of a kick, but not overbearing!

Service is amazing! It was my first time ever and the cashier was super patient while explaining everything to me for the feast, which I was ordering. The price is also astounding. This is a franchise (I think) but the one in Coral Springs appears to be more expensive even though the food at all the locations are delicious!!! Very clean and spacious restaurant, as well. The ambiance is a lot brighter than the other location I mentioned.

Arun's is our go to Indian spot! The food is great & service is always great as well! If you've been looking to try this place definitely do!

Just updating to state that their new wings are BONKERS. Get them! The Tandoori are my favorite. Tried the Masala ones last night and they are great but the Tandoori are my favorites for sure. Great to see them expanding their menu and trying new things. Wings are now a part of every order for me Hehe

Keeps up to par with the original Arun's location. I had been craving it for a while, and I was close by so I opted for the newer location. It's much bigger than the original Arun's and much more open. Love being able to see everything cooked fresh in plain sight. Didn't try the taco or the rice bowl style dishes. Will have to do that some other time. I had Navratan Korma, instead of my usual Chicken Tikka Masala from here. Possibly top 3 korma dishes I've ever had and it's not even close. Sauces for the paneer pakora were interesting. The tamarind chutney was light, but the green one was interesting. It was slushied up and not too hot. I was figuring it was a mint chutney but the mint wasn't the primary flavor, more so it was lime. Maybe it's modified as such to fit with the taco type food theme. Oh, and whatever you do, get a chicken tikka masala to go. Arun's makes the best one, period.

Very excited to write this review. I have heard of Arun's for so long but sadly I don't live close to one. I was in the area and immediately knew this is what I wanted to try. The restaurant is pretty big. Walking in, I can see the area where you order and the dining room. I got to the cash register and was able to look up to see the menu but there were also paper menus in front of me. I went for the safe and tasty chicken tikka masala. Now I order this at other Indian spots but the one here, AMAZING! It's hands down the best Indian food I've ever had. The spices. The flavor. The fact that it melts in your mouth. For about $17, I had enough food for two meals. I also ordered their naan bread and it was really tasty. Making me wish I lived closer so I could eat it all the time.

This place needs to be franchised and shared with every corner of America, like McDonalds or Chipotle. For the same price, at Arun's you get a real meal; a world class meal, and enough food on your plate to feed half Kolkata. Plus the staff is always friendly, attentive, and ready to help you get to know your way around the menu. The ambiance is relaxed. Great for lunch and even dinner with friends or family. I highly recommend this place. I truly wish Arun would open a spot close to my home! As a matter of fact, I would gladly trade all 15 to 25 McDonalds in my area, and the Burger Kings, and all fast food just for one location close to home!

Neighborhood Staple, been coming here since i moved to tamarac 4 years ago. Foods always fresh, fast and delicious the seasoning stands out as i have never had a bland dining experience here. We usually order at least once a week

I've been dying to try this place for a minute now and for the most part it did not disappoint. For $12 I was given a decent sized portion. The food was flavorful, the only thing that let me down was the spice level. I'm used to Indian food being spicy or me having the option to make it spicy. They don't have that here and i even went up to grab more hot sauce and it wasn't up to par, it only made my rice soggy bc i had to use so much "hot sauce" which honestly tastes a little like ketchup? So my conclusion, I would 100% return however i will bring my own hot sauce.

Indian food has been a part of my life since childhood. I not only eat it often, but I love to cook various curry dishes. In 2018, to celebrate earning my master's degree, my husband and I visited India for 10 days. It was wonderful. But the food we ate was the best part of the trip, especially the vegetables---fresh, organic, and seasoned with scintillating spices! If I ever decide to become a vegetarian, I will be eating most of my meals cooked Indian style. Now that you understand my love for Indian food, hopefully this review will be more meaningful. :-) We tried Arun's in Lauderhill during the pandemic lockdown (not sure when, but about a year ago) because our favorite Indian restaurant in Davie had closed. We did takeout and really enjoyed the food. So last night, hubby, adult daughter, and I decided to go back and to dine in. The restaurant is in a strip mall. No problems with parking. It is nothing fancy, but it's clean and has seating for about 20. We had the fish vindaloo, lamb rogan josh, and the chicken korma (which come with rice) along with three orders of naan. We later tried a mango lassi and an order of the gulab jamun (sort of like cottage cheese balls in syrup). I was hoping for rice kheer; but alas, they don't have it on the menu. On a scale from 1 to 10 on the spiciness level we chose 5. (And we like our food spicy and have been known to sniffle and have tears running while eating.) The kick was decent. I would recommend a lower number if you are not a fan of spiciness (or no spicy level at all, the food is well seasoned). If you want to taste your food and enjoy a kick, 5 is perfect. Everything was deeeelicious! The lamb was my favorite. But the fish melted in your mouth, and the korma sauce was flavorful. Until I find another place better than Arun's (and I have three on my list to try in Broward County), this will be listed as my favorite and my go-to Indian spot. P.S.: Be warned---My cousin went to this place and tried the tacos and disliked them so much, he did not go back to try the traditional Indian food. (His wife is half Indian.) With my recent prodding, he plans to give it another shot. Stay tuned.

Each combo included two protein options, fragrant basmati rice, flavorful garlic roti, three side veggie options, and a delightful small dessert. The portions were excellent, offering great value for the price. As we savored our meal, a sudden storm rolled in, and we found ourselves happily taking shelter in the restaurant. To make the most of our extended stay, we decided to order three more of their delicious Tiki Masala Tacos. They were an absolute delight, with a perfect balance of spices and flavors. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Taco Masala by Arun's Indian Kitchen. The feast combos provided a generous and satisfying meal, and the additional Tiki Masala Tacos were a mouthwatering treat. If you're looking for a fusion of Indian flavors, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

I love coming here for lunch! They serve a lot of food for a good price and it's delicious! The staff at the front is always nice and the restaurant is very simple but spacious. I always tell myself I'm going to try the tacos, but always end up ordering chicken tikka masala. If you're looking for a good Indian place, look no further.

Still a 5. Food is fresh and flavorful. I wish I lived closer as it would be trouble. It used to be a better bargain price wise, but everything has gone up. Huge portions, and I love dining in to listen to the music. My favorite is the chicken tikka masala. Don't forget to add mint chutney. It has a tang that marries so well with the tikka and smacks you in the mouth. Yum!

We saw this place based on the reviews. Customer service was great. The person in charge gave us the details of how to order the food and even the recommendation. I have to say outstanding delicious Indian cuisine food.

I remember when Arun's Indian Kitchen first opened in Coral Springs and there would be a line everyday for lunch just to get their food. Back then, the food was fresh, flavorful, and an excellent value. Years later they opened up AIK Taco Masala, an interesting concept that took off in popularity due to how popular their original location was. When I came here the first few times to eat, the food was very good, flavorful and again an excellent value. However, like all places in this post-Covid world and sadly, like all places once they get to a certain popularity; AIK Taco Masala has suffered from the same fate as many other popular establishments. With rising costs of food and supplies how do they keep customers coming to their places in droves without totally raising the prices to the moon? The answer is diminishing quality and cheap labor. AIK has suffered in the last few years, the food is flavorless, greasy, one dimensional and expensive for what you get. Whilst I'll admit it's cheaper than dining at a traditional sit down Indian restaurant, it's no longer a good value for what you get. The food isn't bad, so don't take this review as a place to avoid, just take it into consideration. The food isn't anything special, the flavors are not there like they used to be, they also greatly skimp out on the amount of meat you get in favor of more sauce (example, my Lamb Saag was mostly small tiny shredded pieces of lamb with a few lamb chunks and the rest was sauce) it was also far more oily and greasy than I'd like. AIK if you're reading this, please take this into consideration. I know the costs for keeping restaurants going in this time are difficult but there's other ways to cut costs without lowering food quality.

There is a lot to like at this Lauderhill eatery. The woman who took our order, who is Owner I believe, ... for starters. I believe she is Chef Arun's daughter and that he (Arun) helped her to open this "fresh" fast- serve Indian food restaurant which has counter service. Many healthy choices. On the Aloo Ghobi order she asked me "are you Vegan or Vegetarian?" I am "neither" so I went with "vegetarian" to aid with food preparation. I am impressed that men with beards who cook here wear "beard" nets. Food is tasty. She also asks the "spice level" you desire. You may answer on a scale of 1 to 10 so be ready. Ha ha. Don't skip the Mango Lassi mango yogurt drink to drink. Lunch came with a tiny souffle cup full of Indian rice pudding. Delicious!

I was misinformed regarding allergen information which put me in the hospital. I guess the food tasted nice but the hospital bill wasn't worth it.

Gosh this place is incredible! Prob ordered on Ubereats too many times to count. Everything is always great portions, delicious, authentic. We have tried the samosas, veggie tikka masala, eggplant, malai kofta. All SO delicious. Best Indian food in south Florida.

We just ordered the rice bowls (paneer makhani bowl and daal makhani bowl) and both of them were really good! This place really puts an interesting twist on Indian and Mexican food. It felt like eating a chipotle bowl with Indian vegetables. I would say both the feast and these items are great. I honestly don't know what I would choose over the other. Both items were great!

The food might be good but the guy is SUCH A DICK. How is he allowed to work here? He yelled at the delivery driver, the person on the phone, his EMPLOYEES, and the customers in the 7 mins I was waiting in line. What is wrong with him? I asked which drink can I get and he said 'we'll just take a look at the fridge.' He yelled at the delivery driver for trying to pick up his order and he yelled at his employee for not being fast enough in cutting the naan. This is definitely a toxic spot. I've only ever been to the Coral Springs location so would proabbly stick to that... this place really sucks.

Lately the food quality seems to have gone down. There were way more potatoes than chicken in my last dish, and the Vindaloo wasn't even close to what I have had before. It was some wired mixture of tiki masala and butter chicken sauce.I like Arun and gave it 3 stars, but honestly the food was bad.

Today I had the Dal Makhani with naan. Everything was delicious and prepared to perfection. The restaurant was clean and the staff was quick and friendly. The lunch special is a great deal!

Below average I went during lunch and got their lunch option which is an entree with rice, naan and a dessert. I have come to Arun's in the past and did like their food. I got the chicken makhani (butter chicken) I asked for medium spicy. The sauce was so sweet, it's like having dessert as your main, their portions for the chicken is garbage. Rice was dry and if you order it to go it comes in a bowl like in the picture with some foil to cover. You can't be a restaurant and have to go orders the same way as a college student. The naan was amazing, best part of coming there. Only reason we are at 3 stars. The dessert I received was a rice pudding which I asked to be switched to a gulab jamun as it is advertised in the menu and all the pictures for the lunch option. I got some garbage story of how there was an up-charge for that. I paid 2$ for one gulab jamun. The gulab jamun was garbage, it was definitely old. This was the last time I will go there. The whole place needs a quality control review from the bathroom to the person taking your order to how they pack to go orders. Lots to fix.

Stopped by here on a (Taco) Tuesday and had to order the vegan tacos. Definitely impressed! I tried 1 chickpea and 1 kidney bean, both were very good. I can't believe I've never been here before. I know another location opened up in Boca so we will have to frequent more often. Masala Tacos, what a brilliant idea! We also tried the vegan mango shake and it was delicious too. Be back soon!

Okay maybe this isn't the place for your most romantic date night, but this may be the best Indian food I've ever had. I am no authority on how authentic it is but the flavors are fantastic and I have never had a bad meal from here.

The best Indian food in broward. The channa masala tacos are . I've tried the yellow lentils, aloo gobi and they were both tasty and filling. The mango juice is 10/10

It is still my favorite Indian restaurant. However, they did not raise prices but there is A LOT LESS in the container. I got chicken Tikka masala and for the last 2 times there was very little chicken and the container is full of sauce. That was disappointing. Staff is welcoming and attentive. It is a restaurant without table service. The place is simple and nice. Way more than what you would expect for the price. Self serve water cups are Styrofoam. I hope they change that to something a little more environmentally friendly.

The Chicken Tikka Masala/Butter Chicken is fire! Hands down, it's the best I've ever had. I enjoyed the portion of sauce they give to the ratio of chicken... more sauce is better for sopping up with the naan. And the chicken pieces are cut in perfect bite sizes, are very tender, and throughly flavorful throughout. The buttery garlic naan pairs exquisitely to create the most incredible balance of robust flavors to explode in your mouth. It took me to my Indian food heaven! I also tried the samosas and the mint chicken, both were very good too. But the Chicken Tikka Masala/Butter Chicken are an absolute must!

I LOVE Indian food. This place was good for what it is; think of Indian Chipotle. Now, I do have to be honest and say I feel the food was lacking in the robust flavors that make Indian food so special. But maybe that's on purpose and catering to a broader clientele, including those trying Indian food for the first time. If you're looking for authentic tasting Indian I'm not sure this hits the mark. But it's good as a quick stop to satiate an Indian food craving or experience Indian food if you're a newbie. We had the chicken curry, korma and tikka masala. The tikka masala tasted a bit sweeter but they all were kind of bland. I'd rank #1 Curry, #2 Tikka Masala #3 Korma. They also kind of skimp on the amount of protein placed in each bowl or taco. They load up with rice and top it off with lots of ingredients but when I dug into the bowl I only found a few pieces of chicken and felt that was lacking. The mango lassi is excellent. Cute presentation of the food. Indian "tacos" is a unique idea and I like it. I would have preferred the flavors jump out a bit more. It's a bit bland.

A MUST TRY. IF YOU'RE READING THIS STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND PLACE YOUR ORDER. If a week goes by and I haven't made it to this restaurant I start losing my marbles. EVERYTHING is delicious. My go to order is the chicken tikka masala, aloo naan and a mango lassi.

Navratan korma and dal makhani are fantastic. The tacos are great too, I love the veg options.

First time here and I can tell you I'm ready to go back again! I ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala with basmati rice and Nann. The lady at the register was very friendly and knowledgeable, I ask quite a few questions since it was my first time, I also tend to do that at places I visit the first time to see how well their customer service is I ordered take out, and the food was delicious, it was spicy but not overbearing just the way I like it! You have to try this place if you're in that area.

I've been an original supporter of Arun's Indian Kitchen in Coral Springs and was extremely happy when they opened close to my job and house. I usually order through Uber eats or pick up. The food is always amazing. Fresh naan, sauces are always on point, the mango lassi is perfect to finish your meal and the PRICE! While everyone has raised their prices which is understandable, their prices have stayed the same. I've eaten at this new location a few times during my lunch break and the dining area is huge and clean. I like that the kitchen area is open so you can see them make the naan and somasos. I'm vegetarian, not vegan and there are lots of options. Even if you're vegan they have a fair amount of choices. At one point I was ordering once a week but had to stop myself lol. The good thing is it's next to tropical smoothie cafe which I like so I can control myself and not go crazy for Arun's. It's a must, trust me!

Food taste great and toppings are fresh! I am very pleased with the Dal Makhani bowl I ordered. Asked for it with all toppings which includes lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapeño peppers, pineapples, and cilantro. The lentils are cooked in a deliciously creamy sauce and served over a bed of saffron infused rice. They play nice music for you to enjoy if you dine in. Service staff was pleasant. I'll be back again.

I ended up here because my friend trice twisted my arm and forced me to go. I was hesitant because I've never had Indian food before and I didn't know what to expect. Upon arriving I didn't really know what I was going to order, but the cashier/hostess was helpful and told me I would not be disappointed with the Chicken Tikka Masala and trice also told me about that same dish, so that's what I ordered with a side of Garlic Naan. Chicken tikka masala is a dish of yogurt-marinated and broiled chicken in a creamy, spice-infused tomato sauce and it also came with a side of rice called basmati rice. While eating I discovered that the chicken tikka masala was very flavorful. It was savory and a bit sweet and the chicken chunks were tender and flavorful. Being honest, they could've put more chicken chunks in there for what I paid for the meal. The rice by itself was ok, but with the chicken tikka masala it was good. The Garlic Naan was great. It was warm and fluffy with garlic sauce on it and when dipped into that chicken tikka masala sauce it's awesome. The place looked nice and well kept. In closing, I'm glad I tried food from an Indian restaurant. I just hope in the future they put more chicken chunks in the chicken tikka masala. I visited the plantation location today. It has a fast food vibe when you walk in the restaurant because you walk up to the counter to order and seat yourself. While I was there a lot of people picked up to go orders so it seems like that is probably a lot of their business. They serve everything in plastic, paper, or styrofoam but don't let this fool you. The meal I ordered was delicious! The portion was huge so I could only eat half and took the rest home with me. They asked between 1-10 what spice level I wanted so I said 7 and it was exactly the right level of spicy! The dish had plenty of paneer in it and the garlic naan was great too although it had a little too much butter but I can't complain because it was too tasty. I think this will be my new take out spot and I really can't wait to try more items of the menu. I read in another review that someone complained about parking but I came on a Wednesday and there were plenty of spots. Looking forward to my next visit!
