We enjoyed the food, beer and atmosphere at Arvada Beer Garden! I’ve read other posts about the food not being good, but everything our group ordered was very good. The beer line was long at times on Tuesday evening, so perhaps an improvement to be made there. But our food came out quickly and was a good meal. We will return!

Great outdoor space with a large beer selection on tap. The food was also tasty. This is now my favorite place in Arvada to enjoy a cold beer outside. The flowers and atmosphere were well designed and impressive. Must try recommendation is a beer with hot wings.

I like the atmosphere. The drinks are alright and the food is ok too. The amount of available parking does not match the size of the venue. You will end up trying to park elsewhere. They are building a large apartment complex next door as well. The mandatory 18% auto gratuity would make more sense if there was an actual server. You have to walk up and order your drinks and food at the counter. You have to walk up to get your food and bus your dishes. What service are we paying for? Also the sign telling you this isn't on the wall or by the menu. It's on the top of the bar counter facing up. You will completely miss it if you're reading their menu. The first sign I found when I started looking for them is in the bathroom. So shady.

A very cute option for a growing neighborhood. This place has a wonderful atmosphere for any kind of weather. You can sit inside or outside, and the general set up is very pleasing to look at. There's free wifi, kids, and furry babies all around. There's a giant TV inside for sports, picnic tables and high tops. At the side tables inside there are available outlets. It's very, very busy here. But the best times to go are when everyone is at work or after the peak hours from 4:30ish to 7ish. Parking close is hard to get if you don't. It's very accessible, you would just have to walk a distance. You can park around Holland street or at the park if you have to. The food is pretty good. I'm not a big eater, and they let me order kids meals. They have tons of options like burgers, salads, poke bowls, wings, cheese curds, etc. They don't have servers, no. But they have staff walking around constantly checking on you and picking up your empty dishes. Yes, they have an 18% service fee, but there is no tipping. The food is kind of expensive, and I'd say that the only real downside. Staff is lovely and always sweet!

Wow, what an atmosphere! People came from far and wide, local in the hood, and beyond! We went on opening day and it was simply stupendous to say the least, from the hostess, greeter to the cooks, and barmaids, cashier and order taker, everyone was very service oriented and hospitable. We had hearty fish and chips and a big cheese pretzel and a wonderful glass of beer. The crowd was in good spirits, including kids having a ball, jumping around on the cool steam contraptions that are set up near the retail venue. Dogs are welcome too! There is plenty of seating in the form of tables and benches outside and inside made of quality wood with coverings for weather related outside. This place is like one non stop community picnic. The greenery is really lovely, a nice touch with various trees and plants to make the place truly feel like a garden. The owners/investors should be proud of the design, and since I am nearby, I got to watch the dedicated worker guys build the place from the ground up. Fascinating place for sure. No doubt you WILL have fun and great conversation here. Will visit often. A great addition to Arvada and a perfect spot! This place lacks nothing. Price point is good, there is an 18 percent service charge. I have seen people lined up out to the street on weekends, so that says it all.

We checked out the Arvada Beer Garden 🍻 for the first time last weekend and had a great time! The local beer selection was excellent, and the 🥙 gyro sandwich was generous and delicious, we shared as a snack. It was loaded with shaved lamb, feta, French fries, and veggies, and adding hummus gave it some additional flavor. We really enjoyed the space, and it's great that they offer ♿ handicap accessible seating and 🚻 restrooms. Just a heads-up: 🅿️ parking can be a bit of a hassle currently with the nearby construction 🚧. There is a service charge included, but it's a no-tipping establishment, which makes for an easy checkout.

They had their grand open this last weekend, so I dragged the hubby and the dog out to check it out! It was a fun atmosphere. I like the openness of the yard. I really hope people keep the flowers and garden area as nice as it is and respect their signage asking to stay off of it. They allow the dogs, which is an absolute must of mine, so people need to do the right thing, take their dogs out of the property to go potty, and keep the garden fresh and clean! We just happily walked across the street to the park for our boy to go potty! Food service was quick and good, and good drink selection for all, even me as the sober one needing an NA option! Plenty of sun, shade, and misters! I like the way they have their payment system, keeping your tab open for food and drinks, and if you don't close out, they will do it for you with automatic gratuity, and they talk about it as they greet you right at the door! Love that convenience! We will for sure be back!

Google
Brand new place in Arvada, easy access from I-70 and well worth the drive if you aren’t lucky enough to live within walking or biking distance. Such a cute, welcoming, and affordable place to relax, have a delicious cocktail, or casual bite to eat. We appreciated the 18% gratuity because it made closing out our bill quick and easy! Love the concept, a great for the entire family! Can’t wait to return!

Yelp
I have been waiting for this to open for so long and was ecstatic to finally try it. What a fun add for the neighborhood! Of course a neighborhood next to a park full of young families would love this. The space is great. The fire pits, seating, lights, everything is great. I wish there was one more section covered for when it rains, but I haven't been unable to find covered seating yet so I guess it's not a real problem. The food options are honestly really nice for a beer place. Salads + fried foods is my favorite combo. Plus there are some vegetarian options. The beer list is always diverse and I was very excited about the pumpkin cider they have for fall. It was delicious. Everyone here is super kind, and they are very on top of wiping down tables, and even squeegee them when it rains. Love this place!

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Bar on onside, food on the other, and plenty of communal tables inside and outside to chill. Tenders were crisp/perfect size and the curds were average. I would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot to hang out. Oh and dog friendly too.

Yelp
This place is really cool! Love the vibes- they can be whatever you want them to be- family, date, group hang... truly accommodating to everyone! The frozen drinks are my favorite in all of Colorado. Careful, they are strong! The place is clean, and feels very new! I didn't order food but people in my group did and it looked good! I did try the French fries! They were delicious! Highly recommend - especially if looking for outdoor friendly places!

Yelp
The beer garden was packed. Happy to have one in the neighborhood. They allow kids, which is normal but there was a ton of kids. Parking out front is space, we ended up parking at the park across the street. The entrance is also on the opposite side of the building from any parking area which is weird and confusing. Beer was decently priced, staff were friendly and they have an automatic gratuity so you do not have to check out which is nice.

Yelp
If you've been to Lowry or Edgewater Beer Garden then you know what to expect--same vibes, beer, and atmosphere. Lots of good beer options, and decent enough food for a fun filled day. The biggest issue with this location is the parking. There is a very small amount of parking here and you'll most likely be walking a distance to visit here. Saw an old high school friend here so that was a plus. But otherwise a pretty normal beer garden visit.

Yelp
This is a great place to gather for drinks or food and drinks. There's a great outdoor space with large picnic tables and bigger tables inside if you have a larger group. My only gripe is that the music is so loud it's hard to have a conversation without screaming. The food is good, as are the drinks and it's nice that your tab goes between the two places to order. It's reasonably priced and the frosé is delish! You bus your own table, there are no servers and the parking is limited.

Yelp
Came here during opening week and it was PACKED! There was a separate line checking IDs then had to get into the bar line to order, but they did a good job staggering so that there were still open tables, etc. Staff was handing out freebie tasters in line while we waited and got to try their soft pretzels, frozen margaritas and beer selections - yum! The lineup of craft beer was pretty solid; there was beer from the CO heavy hitters - Weldwerks, Cerebral and Westbound & Down to name a few. I got the White Noise, a great peach sour from Cerebral. There was also a selection of cocktails and wines for non beer-drinkers. We sat inside but there was big number of outdoor seating available too (with umbrellas which is great, because it looked like it was going to rain but never did). We ended up getting dinner there too - I got a cheeseburger, husband got the cubano, and we split sweet potato fries. The food was honestly way better than I was expecting it to be. Good addition to the neighborhood - and, there's HH from 3-6PM Monday through Friday with a select few craft beers on discount. Only knock - I get it was opening week and super busy but man there were a bunch of kids running around, even through the garden area with flowers/between the fences. Don't think those flowers will make it long but that's more a reminder to parents to watch their kids at a brewery and respect everyone's space!

Yelp
Super efficient and great space! Love that you don't have to close out your tab. We had the aha poke bowl and it was very good!

Yelp
After so much anticipation- it's open! Went to the first evening it and did not disappoint. Didn't get a chance to order food because we brought our pup and she got a little overwhelmed / warm but we did get 2 drinks each and they were amazing (frozé is yummy / deadly, Hugo spritz is refreshing and the dude stuck with beers). Line was long but the staff was extremely apologetic and offered samples while waiting in line which was so thoughtful and well done: mango sorbet, marinara cheese curds, "beer shots" etc. Smart of them, we will order it all at some point I am sure. The layout is awesome - lots of tables, shade and misters outside. Dogs can only be outside but there's plenty of space. Tons of bike racks which is great because this is very much a local spot. They do have a decent sized parking lot but it will be interesting to see how that goes when the apartments are occupied. All in all a great stop and excited to have it here!

Yelp
Place is great. Insane amount of seating inside and outside, great beers and an awesome selection of food that isn't priced too bad. I don't get the bad C. Do you want reviews of this place, their staff is extremely friendly and it's such a kid/dog friendly spot. Might need more bartenders and less ppl walking around grabbing empties lol. That's maybe only at certain times when it's packed but only took me like 2-3 mins to get a beer!

Yelp
Great place to take your dog, have a good beer with some bar food, and end with some sherbet. Really nice addition to the area, and I'm excited for the rest of the surrounding developments are complete. The misters were a plus, and the staff is really friendly.

Yelp
First off - it's a gorgeous space with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Misters, plants, etc. Service - outstanding. Everyone is so nice and polite. Food - the green goddess bowl was outstanding and had a very generous piece of salmon. Drinks - they have lots of great beers on tap but also offer frozes, cocktails, and unlike many beer gardens - a soda machine. I was trying to wait for the newness to die down - but I wish I had been by sooner. This will be on the rotation from now on.

Yelp
Food is pretty great and the drinks are delicious. But the best part is just the ambiance and be able to chill and hang out outside in a beautiful part of town. I live right down the street so it's awesome to be able to walk here!

Jeff L.

Yelp
They charge a hidden 18% fee. While that's the minimum i tip for table service, this isn't that. It also isn't disclosed. These deceptive practices need to stop and unfairly inflating prices.

Hank E.

Yelp
I won't be going back. I really wanted to love this place. The venue, as well as the location is excellent. The beer and drink selection is top notch as well and the prices are reasonable and are in line with most beer gardens and micro breweries. The food is nothing to write home about but is acceptable and tasty. What I am appalled by is that while everything is counter service Arvada Beer Garden has the gall to charge an 18% service fee/tip on every order. They don't deliver anything to the table, they just stand behind the counter and take orders and hand you your food and drink. I am not against tipping culture, but 18% is a ridiculous amount to expect for handing my product. It's a real shame. I wanted to love this place but this mercenary attitude has put me off the Arvada Beer Garden so it's a nope from me.

N B.

Yelp
Do not like the walk up and order, walk over and order drinks and STILL pay a 18% service charge. Food wise I had the fish and chips, the fish was really battered and the fries were a greasy mess. My friend had the Gyro and gave it a meh. Pretty much food court food.

Frankie M.

Yelp
Beer and mixed drinks selection is excellent! Good bar food. Staff is attentive and on point! The physical space is awesome, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The place is very new and working the kinks out but they are running a great operation! Would be nice if there was a second bar or a couple smaller rolling bars serving the most popular beers and drinks to speed up the bar line. Overall great experience at ABG!

Gordon F.

Yelp
Great space! Loved checking out this spot. It had an excellent outdoor space with good shade and great plants. Quick and easy to get a beverage and a great selection.

Mark O.

Yelp
EXPENSIVE! This place has a service fee, and gratuity fee built right into your bill, even if the bartenders are rude, and I have to get up and get my food and drinks myself these guys should be tipping me. Went during happy hour and they do actually have a decent happy hour on paper but oh yea there's a service fee that completely takes that happy hour away . Had a few different food items and everything was way too salty. Ambiance was ok if you like looking at construction and kids running around. Come on guys! Alcoholic beverages, drunk people, and kids...probably not a good combination. Maybe the park next time

J N.

Yelp
The seared ahi salad is good. I've had it two times and the dressing the second time lacked any flavor compared to the first time. Socialism is on the rise with an 18% fee for EVERYTHING! One worker said, "it pays for our health care." I've never had a job pay for my healthcare. I've paid privately ALL of my life. This comment rubbed me the wrong way. Entitlement. Anyway, get the seared ahi salad and pay the high fee if you choose. They planted a lot of beautiful plants to make it pretty yet some will grow way too big for their area. Yarrow gets out of control. They'll figure that out sometime in the future. Also, they needlessly check your id before you walk in and insist on putting a party band on your wrist. One of my friends doesn't even drink and still had to go through the procedure. Another person was 82 and they even carded him for the band. That is beyond silly. Though I was excited about this place, the automatic 18% just to order food will keep our large group away. Just wait . . . It's 18% now but soon that'll be 20% then 22%.
