Our experience here definitely was outstanding from start to finish. Parking usually is not a hassle as there are a couple of parking lots that can be used depending on the time of the day, for parking needs. Richard was our host, and he was absolutely amazing, attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced throughout the evening, making sure everything flowed smoothly. We started with a side of vegetables that turned out to be vibrant, colorful, and beautifully prepared. Each vegetable tasted fresh and well-seasoned, making it a standout side rather than an afterthought. We ordered the Ash Soup (Aash Reshteh) along with that and it definitely was comforting, hearty, and full of depth. Warm, flavorful, and made with care exactly what you want in a traditional Persian soup. Ready to eat some steak, we ordered the Dry-Aged Ribeye . The presentation was stunning, and the steak itself was cooked to perfection rich, tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was fresh, juicy, and deeply satisfying. Along with that we also ordered Fesenjoon, beautifully balanced with its signature sweet-and-tangy notes, tasting rich, fresh, and incredibly comforting. The ambiance was awesome and it definitely was elegant yet welcoming, making it a great spot for a special lunch/dinner/meal or a relaxed upscale evening. Exceptional food, thoughtful presentation, warm ambiance, and Richard’s fantastic service definitely made for a memorable dining experience.

Let’s start off with the great. The service was amazing. The level of service was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. The drinks were good as well. The cocktail menu was thoughtful and provided opportunities for experimentation. The portion sizes were perfect and gave opportunities to share. Presentation was not as well thought out, though. Lastly, the only disappointing item we had was the steak. Two of us got the cowboy cut steak and it was just average. Every other dish we tried was delicious and very well received. If we ever ate there again we would avoid it. It was a small knock on what otherwise a really good evening and I’m not going to hold it against them in my rating. It wasn’t bad, just average. Since it’s a primarily a Persian restaurant we should have stuck with those options.

It’s been awhile since we dined here. Came to celebrate a birthday. Tried the meatballs, marrow, hummus, wagyu burger, koobideh combo, lamb rack and dry aged ribeye. We love the ribeye. The burger and koobideh were also good.

Came here for an anniversary dinner. Food and ambience were both perfect. The service was amazing, our waiter and everyone else that we interacted with made sure we had a lovely night. Will definitely be back soon.

Google
I went there to celebrate a birthday. I was not at all disappointed. It was full for a weekday evening which explains its rating and the quality of food. The service and the Persian dishes that we ordered were excellent . Also the food presentation was very nice especially the badamjaan which appeared like a pastry cake. I will definitely visit again.

Google
Incredible food! Our group had a great time here trying new and familiar dishes. The dry aged ribeye is the best steak I’ve had in a long time. The Persian dishes were authentic and traditional. The ambience was warm and cozy. And the desserts were delicious. I highly recommend the warm butter cake and baklava. This place is great for groups but will return for a date night as well. Recommend reservations, we came on a Wednesday and it was full.

We had an amazing experience at Arya Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, and we have to give a special shout-out to Jennifer, who was an absolute sweetheart. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, offering fantastic suggestions that totally hit the mark. We tried the Persian Lime Mint Mojito on her recommendation, and OMG,we were in love. Refreshing, unique, and just the right amount of minty zing! As for the food: The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The boneless chicken kebabs were delicious and well-seasoned. The potato gnocchi was soft, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the rest of the meal. And we can't forget the assortment of breads with chutney, phenomenal! Every bite was packed with flavor. Everything we tried was a 10/10. The combination of outstanding service and incredible food makes this place a must-visit. Definitely highly recommend Arya Steakhouse, and be sure to ask for Jennifer if you can. She truly made our night special!

The restaurant lowkey makes me to go through all my past reviews for a second revision. The quality of the food here defines fine dinning. Stakes very tasty and Koobideh was phenomenal. The service is extraordinary.

Yelp
Lovely local steakhouse that took my reservations on the same day! I read the reviews and I was very excited to experience the spin on their menu. As we walked in the door, the host and several others greeted us kindly. I was with one colleague and waiting for my clients to arrive. They seated us anyway which I really appreciated! The space was very nice and the temperature in the restaurant and ambiance were perfect. We enjoyed a cocktail as we waited and a few nice chats with staff as they brought us water and drinks. When everyone arrive the food started to come and so did the great Willamette Valley Pinot we ordered! The service was outstanding and so were all our dishes. From steaks to more regional dishes, everyone was impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Started off with the pomegranate meatballs and it was super rich and meaty. I would get it again! We got the filet mignon and kebab combo. The filet mignon was life changing and perfect, and definitely stole the show, but the kebabs weren't fatty as I normally like it. Ended the night with a complimentary anniversary dessert! I would love to try more of their steak! Service was friendly and very attentive.

Yelp
Six of us had dinner at Arya yesterday night. The food was fantastic! Carefully prepared, cooked to perfection and presented in a beautiful way. Our server was charming and attentive. I think me memorized the entire menu with each of the intricacies of preparation and highpoints. A definite keeper!

Yelp
Celebrated my Birthday here, staff were so friendly, they checked on us often, the food was great. I love that they burn the butter in front of you like a little show. Very nice place, I would definitely return.

Yelp
This review is based mostly on the dish that I ordered. I had the ghormeh sabzi, which is a very typical Iranian dish. I have to say that it was just OK -- it lacked salt, which did help when added. It was served with saffron rice, which was good. It was also served with a piece of tahdig, which was almost too crunchy, hard to bite -- not like I've had before. For the rice, I expected better. I'll tell you what it lacked -- a richness and depth of beef flavor that I want in any beef dish. No, I'm not Persian but I've had ghormeh sabzi elsewhere and I've made it myself. This place is a "Persian steakhouse." So maybe if I'd ordered a steak I would have been more impressed. On the plus side: the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was great -- especially the bartender who served me.

Yelp
Writing this review as I head home from the restaurant because I had such a pleasant experience here! My partner and I went to Arya for our anniversary and it was so lovely. The hostess greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary as well as had a really cute card prepared for us! Our server Richie I believe is his name was very kind and funny! Very helpful when we asked about some of the menu items and overall made our dinner experience enjoyable!

Yelp
Since we had a great time during our last visit, I brought my mom for her first time and she loved it! She's a picky eater but absolutely enjoyed everything about our dinner and our experience. Everything we had here was great, esp their grilled octopus starter. Very soft and not rubbery like usual octopus. The main highlight was the tomahawk steak cooked perfectly medium rare. They always do a sweet gesture of bringing out the whole steak for some pics before they take it back to cut. Camera always eats first lol thank you guys!! Best steak and pretty much on the same tier as Fleming's steak (another of my faves) and it's nice they give you so many dressings and sauce add ons to throw on top but the steak itself is literal perfection. Staff is very warm and service is nothing short of excellent. I say that truly because they saw it was my mom's birthday and every little gesture made her so happy! A small note, a pretty birthday dessert. We always have a lovely time. Thank you guys :)

Yelp
Thank you to our server Jennifer for the wonderful introduction to their menu and welcoming us to Arya. This dinner was such a special way to celebrate my 26th birthday. I couldn't be more grateful for your kindness and the incredible food! We started with the Zereshk Polo, it was absolutely delicious! The Steak Tartare And the Herbed Bone Marrow! It was served with salad and bread, deliciously warm and flavorful! I could eat that everyday! We ordered the cowboy rib eye and the aged rib eye enhanced with the garlic butter shrimp! The shrimp were wonderful, plump, and full of flavor! As was the steak... it was incredible! I spread the garlic from the cowboy rib eye over it. Side of the garlic mashed potatoes! Our choice of wine for the evening was based on us wanting to steer away from a red so we could both enjoy a Chardonnay. We ordered the Patz & Hall Chardonnay bottle and it paired well with all of our meals!! Thank you again for a memorable dinner!

Yelp
Arya is hands down one of my favorite spots for halal steak! The steak is unbelievably juicy, and the potatoes are cooked to perfection. I come here every time I'm craving halal steak -- I just can't get enough!

Yelp
Arya Steakhouse never misses -- this place has officially earned a spot in my monthly rotation, and for good reason. On my most recent visit, I went with the 14oz ribeye and wow... perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. For the price point, the quality is impressive -- it easily competes with higher-end spots without the markup. It comes with roasted potatoes by default (solid choice), but do yourself a favor and try the mashed potatoes too. Creamy, buttery, and dangerously addictive. Service? Immaculate. The staff here nails that sweet spot between attentive and relaxed -- you're never rushed, but you're never waiting. It's clear they care about hospitality, not just table turnover. Pro tip: Don't sleep on the mango margarita. It's not pictured here (you'll have to trust me), but it's worth ordering -- refreshing, slightly tropical, and balances sweet and tart like a pro. Whether you're celebrating something or going on a date night to a solid steak night, Arya delivers every time. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Arya just earned the award of my new favorite restaurant in DTPA! That's a high bar, and in all areas it delivers. The location is right on University with great indoor, outdoor, and private room seating. The ceilings and ambiance are designed to promote conversation. There's no high walled cacophony here. Their steaks and Persian food are delicious. Why is my mouth watering even writing this description? The desserts are playful. We had our ice cream served in an ice sculptured bowl. The staff are helpful and welcoming. Hat tip to Edwin. We hope to see him again.

Yelp
The best steak house i've ever had !!! The quality is top notch. Service is nice as they keep checking on us. But it took so long for even appetizers to come out. Every single thing was so good with nice portion. Will definitely come back for any celebration.

Yelp
Upon entering the ambiance was nice, & beautiful. Perfect lighting & setting. The food was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the bone marrow. It had been a min I since had a real good bone marrow too. I highly recommend!! The chicken kabob was just as good as well. Very tender & juicy. Service was good too. He was very attentive & helpful. I would def come back.

Yelp
We stopped by Arya today for lunch to try to the prefixe lunch menu. My husband and I usually only eat Asian, American and French food so I wasn't sure what to expect, but we were blown away. The food was so good, that if someone asked me what food I could eat for the rest of my life, I could say Persian food from Arya!! The eggplant appetizer was so amazing. The bread was warm, the butter was soft, and the lamb shank was chef's kiss. It was so tender and the portions were large. The flavors were distinct and beautiful, not overpowering, but just right. The service by Michael and Sonia was great, and they were very attentive, sweet and made the meal all the better. Also their mocktail menu was extensive which I really appreciated. The mocktail was excellent ! We will be back again. Great service, amazing food, and yummy drinks! I'm so full but happy!

Yelp
Jessica and Matthew, thank you for the best hospitality and service experience for our 3 July Birthday Babies! Our party had a very memorable time and the food was so delicious! Long Story: Reserved a table for a party of 12! I always come early only because I always hate traffic and being late, so my partner his friend and I arrive literally an hour early. I'm very thankful that they let us sit early because it was hot outside and thankful to the staff that they shared it's typically not busy so it was fine. THANK YOUUUU!!! They also stored our cake in the BOH. Honestly, they were so accommodating that it was already 5 stars for me from the get go. Food and presentation was just, nom nom, YUM YUM! My top rated: The Borani Bademjan 5/5 - almost like a baba ghanoush type of appetizer. It actually ended up being my number 1 fave. I'm not a fan of eggplant whatsoever but when I tried this, I fell in love. The 48 oz Tomahawk 10/5 - literally the best steak I've ever had in the Bay Area. My friends also loved it! It was cooked perfectly and just melted in your mouth. My friends even said it tasted better than their meals. Grilled Octopus 5/5 - not sure why it's not on the online menu, but if I remember correctly it was probably a special. So tender and not overly chewy. Lamb Rack 10/5 star - bruh, loved this. I still love my Tomahawk more, but the flavor profile was amazing. Not games whatsoever and cooked to perfection! I make plans to come back sooooo, Jessica don't forget about me!

Yelp
10/10 this place is so perfect! I've been to more fancier spot but had worse food. This place has the best food. It impossible to for it to be a disappointment. Everything was amazing the customer service, the food, the whole 9. A big big shout out to Steve and Vino! Amazing host and server Even if you not a meat guy, you're gonna love it, the seasoning was amazing, the taste is a burst in your mouth. P.S order the shrimp you will order twice like I did

Yelp
Arya served up a full 5 star experience for my friend and I last night, thanks to one of their staff, Vino! Vino was initially our bartender, as we had about a 20 mins wait, and not only were the drinks yummy, he was very attentive and kind, and offered us menus so we could order once we were seated and not have to further wait. I really appreciated that level of attentiveness and care as yes, I actually was starving and it helped a lot to order as soon as we got our table. The food was delicious and here again, I cannot talk about it without saying more about Vino. He saw me looking at a Yelp picture of.. RICE! LOL Just from that, Vino jumped into action and gave his suggestions on (1) which rice option he thinks is best (he recommended the one starting with Z) and (2) which entrees it would go best with (kabobs). I threw him a curve ball and told him I'm vegetarian. Didn't stop him tho - he quickly pointed to the Meze Platter, which I had already been eyeing. So, I got the vegetarian meze platter with a side of the shirin polo saffron rice, and my friend and I shared an order of truffle fries! The rice came with almonds, pistachios, and orange peels! Flavorful and def satisfied my (rice) carb craving, though I did feel it needed salt, since I was eating it by itself. The mezze platter - in most places, there's usually 1 or 2 things you don't care for. Not this one! Every item on the platter was delicious and the platter itself was well presented. Their falafel was amazing and very different than any other place I've tried. Slightly crispy outside with a mushy inside. It was GOOD! I much prefer this over reg falafel. The sambosa was crispy, the dipping sauce, which I think was mint maybe? There was a delish eggplant spread and another one, I think hummus, that was also good. Dessert - we asked Vino for recs and he said his fav is the butter cake but he also told us about the special, which wasn't on the menu. It was the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake! I still haven't actually had Dubai chocolate so I was def interested but seeing as Vino had done well with recs, I told him to surprise us and to pick one of the two. I'm so glad he came back with the Butter Cake as it was out of this world delicious!! It wasn't as sweet as most desserts and the ice cream paired PERFECTLY! As for ambiance, it was cozy and classy but not dressy, and their main dining room was actually fully seated for a Tuesday night. Clean and well decorated. My friend and I will def come back again and hopefully we can have Vino as our waiter again! Throughout our dining experience, he came over to check on us, our food, and drinks. It felt very personalized vs just being one of a waiter's section of tables.

Yelp
Arya officially becomes my favorite steak place in Palo Alto. The service was amazing and foods were top notch. I even enjoyed the appetizers more than the steak. We ordered prawn, lamb chops, meatballs, tomato salad to share. Everything was perfect I had dry aged ribeye with scallops for entree and it was delicious. The scallops were my favorite. Good wine selection and cocktails were good as well. Plus points, the reservation process was so easy even for the big group of 10 like mine. To me it's a plus since I have hard time finding reservations for big group last minute. Give it a try! I'm sure you will love the experience at Arya.

Yelp
This restaurant is going to be my number one steakhouse ever. The service was really good! The waiter was always attentive to our table and brought good energy. We started off with the bone marrow and the mocktails. The raspberry crush was more on the sweeter side while the cardinal nights had a nice balance between tangy and sweetness from the guava. The bone marrow was huge and held a lot of marrow. However I did find it a bit of a struggle when scraping it out of the bone. Nonetheless, it was delicious. When paired with the bread was super yummy. For the main courses, we got the filet mignon and the lamb shank. The filet mignon and the garlic was soft but not chewy. Everything was cooked to perfection. The potatoes with the filet mignon was crispy on the outside, hot and soft on the inside. None of it was overly salted which was great. The lamb shank was soft, the rice was fragrant and not dry. Everything was cooked to perfection. In the photo we also got the twice baked potato. It was huge potato and the twice baked made it crispy on the outside. This will definitely be our new go to spot for a nice steak dinner!

Yelp
We came here a few months ago to celebrate a birthday and we had a reservation. We had a party of five and were seated in the separate room at a table in the corner that was clearly meant for four people. I went to the restroom and came back and the waiter was serving the table next to us and I could not get to my seat all. I asked the host for a new table and we were seated immediately because she too could see it was really awkward. I did notice another party faced something similar as we were eating but idk what's up with that. Besides this, the servers were super nice in taking our orders, making a special cocktail for the birthday girl, and bringing our food over. There was a complimentary dessert for the bday girl. Food was good. Your typical steakhouse. One thing to note is there was two sales tax and a 4% living wage surcharge. We didn't notice until one of us got back to do the math at home.

Yelp
I'm truly saddened to say that my experience at Arya was not great. I had such high expectations because of all the amazing reviews and honestly hope that my experience was a one off, but every single item we received was cold. From soup to tahdig to our kabobs to any of the appetizers...even the bread was stale and cold. It felt like everything we had received was either old or not freshly made. I'm not sure why this was the case, but it truly wasn't a great experience. I would imagine if the food was made fresh, that it would be great though! The kabobs had great flavor, but unfortunately the fact that it was cold made it so we did not enjoy it as much. The service is great. The staff is really kind and personable. The ambiance is stunning. I love their decoration and the overall look of the restaurant. I just wish things went a little differently, because I very much wanted this to be our new spot for Persian food.

Yelp
Arya Steakhouse is, without a doubt, the BEST steakhouse in the Bay Area--and I discovered it on Yelp after seeing it rated the top steakhouse in SF, and I can confirm 100% that the hype is real. Every single detail here is perfection, starting with the steaks. They are seasoned to absolute perfection--each bite is packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and cooked exactly how you order it. The sear on the outside locks in all the juices, while the inside is tender, juicy, and melts in your mouth. This is steak elevated to an art form. For starters, I always go for the calamari. It's fried to a golden crisp yet remains tender inside, perfectly seasoned with just the right touch of spices and herbs that enhance the natural flavors without overpowering them. Every bite is a delicious balance of crunch and flavor, setting the perfect tone for the meal. Sides here are equally outstanding. The mashed potatoes are silky, creamy, and rich with just the right amount of seasoning--comfort food at its finest. The fries are crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection so that every bite is addictive. And if you're a dessert person, the molten lava cake is an absolute must. Rich, chocolatey, and with the perfect gooey center that spills out with each bite, it's indulgence at its finest--utterly heavenly. The ambience at Arya Steakhouse is equally impressive--warm, elegant, and inviting, with just the right balance of sophistication and comfort. The customer service is outstanding: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire dining experience feel special. Parking is a breeze, too, with a free lot just around the corner, which is such a relief in the Bay Area. And here's the cherry on top--it's all halal! Amazing, perfectly executed, and accessible to everyone. Arya Steakhouse has quickly become my go-to spot for steak, and honestly, every visit leaves me more impressed than the last. From the starters to the mains, sides, dessert, and overall experience, this place is nothing short of perfection. If you love steak--or amazing food in general--this is a must-visit.

Yelp
Valentine's Day at Arya Steakhouse was an unforgettable experience! My date and I had a 7:30 PM reservation, and even though we were five minutes late, we were seated immediately--off to a great start. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion, with romantic low lighting, Valentine's-themed trinkets on the table, and a lovely rose for the table, which I really appreciated. Every detail made the night feel special, and it was clear that Arya went above and beyond. The four-course meal was nothing short of amazing. We kicked things off with drinks--I had the strawberry thyme mocktail, which was refreshing and well-balanced, while my partner's drink, made with egg whites and served in a compote, was strong yet delicious. He even ordered a second one because it was that good. Our appetizers were a delightful mix of flavors. The sweet and spicy shrimp was perfectly chewy, and the beet hummus with pita bread was a unique and tasty pairing. There were two other small bites, but the shrimp and hummus stole the show. The second course was a simple yet perfectly executed salad with just the right amount of balsamic vinegar and feta cheese. Sometimes simplicity wins, and this salad was proof of that. For the entrées, I had the NY steak cooked medium rare with an upgraded lobster tail. The steak was juicy, and the lobster had a wonderful smoky flavor that both my partner and I loved. Our server, Jennifer, made the experience even better by melting butter over the steak tableside--chef's kiss. My partner opted for the seafood paella with an aged ribeye upgrade, and both were equally impressive. The ribeye was juicy perfection, and Jennifer made sure both our steaks got that buttery finishing touch. We also ordered truffle fries, but we barely touched them because we were so full. Still, they were well-seasoned and tempting. Dessert was a shared plate, thankfully, because we were stuffed. It featured baklava with ice cream, a beautifully toasted meringue, and a chocolate cake with a hardened chocolate layer--each bite was heavenly. A special shoutout to Jennifer, who was funny, attentive, and clear about everything (even letting us know that tip was already included). She really elevated our dining experience--thank you, Jennifer! Arya Steakhouse delivered an incredible Valentine's dinner, and I'll definitely be back for more. Everything about this place went above and beyond!

Yelp
Uniqueness: Some of the best Persian food I've ever had--top 5 all-time Wait Time: [x][x][x][x][ ] (Can get busy, but worth it, recommend reservations) Food Quality: [x][x][x][x][x] (Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked) Service: [x][x][x][x][x] (Attentive and welcoming) Setting: [x][x][x][x][ ] (Traditional and cozy) Cost: [x][x][x][x][ ] (Higher price, but worth every penny) This place easily ranks in my top 5 Persian restaurants of all time. At first, I thought the prices were a bit high, but after taking that first bite, it all made sense--the quality here is exceptional. * Joojeh kebab? Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. * Barg? Tender, well-seasoned, and melts in your mouth. * Koobideh? Easily one of the best I've ever had--perfect balance of spices and texture. The service was fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. The setting was warm and traditional, adding to the experience. If you're looking for top-tier Persian food, this is absolutely worth the visit. The price might seem high at first, but once you taste the food, you'll realize it's worth every penny. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Third time coming here and it's so good! We are always seated within minutes and wait staff is very nice and attentive. The steak was cooked perfectly and practically melts in your mouth. We also ordered the macaroni and cheese, baked potato and mashed potatoes as sides. All three were delicious! The ambiance is very calm and it's a bit dimly lit but it fits the vibe! I do think the price is a bit higher than other steaks we've had in the area but it is really delicious so I'd say it's worth it!

Yelp
I would 100% recommend this place to my friends. Every time we go it gets better. The food was amazing. We ordered multiple steaks and they were all cooked to perfection. The chicken kabob was amazing and full of flavor. Our waiter Jean was very polite and couldn't have asked for better service. The decor in the restaurant was very nice and the music was relaxing. 10/10 would love to go back there.

Yelp
The dining experience was great here! Came here for a birthday dinner (not mine) but they definitely made everyone feel special. I had the dry aged ribeye steak and it was super juicy and just enough fat. I'd skip the mocktail next time, it was very sweet. The service was very friendly and professional, they even let me torch the butter for the steak. Street parking was easy and it looks like there's nearby parking garages. Ambience: Clean bathrooms and very classy dining area. Soft jazz playing in the background, it's very cozy in here!

The pictures talk about the high quality of food! Real persian food with great design and very artistic! The service was great. The workers were very professional I had a feeling that I was in french Michelin restaurant in Paris. Even the way that they brought food and how they were serving from right angle of table. Their costumes were very clean and well ironed! They didnt smell food! Specially that they are serving kabab! Our barg was very juicy, very delicious! The amount was ok and it was lil bit pricey but be honest for the service, the quality that we got i gave them 5 stars and its on my bucket list. Whenever we'll be in town we'll stop by here! The desert was baghlava...It was well designed and it was hard to eat them! Such a gorgeous plate! You can eat real food here and i'll say americanized Persian menu then everybody will like here!

Yelp
Apparently, they were too busy to look at the message I sent them about our reservation. We drove an hour and a half to have dinner celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary . The hostess sat us at the worst table in the restaurant, underneath an arch separating the dining area from the hallway leading to the bathroom. The food was good, we both had Persian dishes rather than steaks. It was so busy with servers going back and forth, past our table to serve the rest of the diners that night my wife said it felt very cramped. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant nor will we return. So much for the message board they encourage you to communicate with them. Paul H I would like to thank the owner for responding to my review and make a clarification. We were 10 minutes late for our 7 o'clock reservation. I called at 6:38 to inform the restaurant that we would be a few minutes late due to traffic.. upon arrival I let the hostess know we had a 7 o'clock reservation and announce my name Paul Holland. I received notifications on my phone that our table was ready shortly after we were seated. Due to the fact that your hostess is being untruthful, we will not be returning, Paul H PS I'll be watching my CC statement for No Show Charge. If you haven't already, please update open door. Let me know that we did dine with you. Thank you very much

Yelp
I visited Arya Steakhouse after three years and was highly disappointed with the koobideh. The kabob looked grey, had no flavor, and was very soft in texture. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend ordering the kabob at this location. The service was great & our server was polite. Ambiance was good too, pretty nice and busy.

Yelp
Located in Downtown Palo Alto right by Alma St and University Ave, parking is plentiful and easy to find in the nearby parking garage. Noise level is average-loud. The interior is nicely decorated. There's a good amount of seating with arrangements covering a wide variety of sizes. Food is so delicious. The meat is so tender and juicy. I highly recommend ordering the dry age rib eye. Service was good. Our server did an awesome job guiding us through the ordering process and recommending delicious items. Overall, Arya Steakhouse is an awesome place. The dining experience was perfect and had no issues. Not to mention the food that was absolutely spectacular.

Yelp
Came in for dinner with a good friend visiting from out of town, and we both really enjoyed our meal here! We started with the bread basket and bone marrow. The bread basket had a nice variety and came with a tasty dip that was a great way to ease into the meal. The bone marrow was rich, flavorful, and perfectly fatty; definitely a highlight of the night. For mains, I had the dry-aged ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly; tender, juicy, and full of that aged flavor. My friend ordered the rack of lamb and felt it was just okay. Not bad, but missing something to make it truly stand out. We both really liked the roasted potatoes that came with the mains, and we shared a side of saffron rice which was aromatic and paired well with everything. And service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back to try other options.

Yelp
We dropped in around 5:15 PM and while it wasn't too busy yet, we learned they booked from 6 PM to 9 PM. It's best to call ahead and reserve a table. We ordered the Koobideh Combo (beef and chicken), and it was a total hit! The high-heat grilling technique was spot on, giving the meat a perfect char without drying it out. The Ribeye was also a standout - a high-quality cut cooked to perfection. While the Fesenjoon was unique and sweet, we were a bit surprised by the small portion size, especially for the $29 price tag. It would be great to have a bit more meat in the dish. Our server, Chuck, was fantastic! He was friendly, and engaging, made our 17-year-old feel right at home. Overall, it was a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back to try more of their delicious dishes!

Yelp
Food was amazing and such high quality. Service was excellent. I came with my family & we ordered: NY steak with lobster tail - steak was very tender & juicy, and lobster was great Mushroom Cream Soup - parents loved it, but I don't like mushrooms. I love the bread though Ribeye with Garlic Butter Shrimp - steak and shrimp was so delicious Seafood Paella - rice is flavored well with all the seafood, my mom loved it Red Velvet Salmon - unique cherry sauce with salmon with actual cherry bits Mango Margarita - very good drink, has a strong taste of mango flavored Strawberry Thyme Lemonade Mocktail - good non alcoholic drink Also got a cup of tea - smells and taste great

Yelp
The ambience was nice. The service was great. Servers were very mindful, very respectful, very demure. The eggplant dip with roasted onions and yogurt was my favorite. It had a deep flavor compared to standard baba ganoush. It was served with warm pita bread. The wild mushrooms were nothing special. But the dish was very generous. My husband enjoyed his koobideh kabob. Ground sirloin with delicious spices. I had the filet mignon, which was cooked exactly to my liking.

Yelp
This was my first time trying out a Persian Steakhouse and it did not disappoint! If you're looking to try something different for date night or dinner in general, be sure to bookmark Arya Steakhouse! Their entire menu is halal and all of the meats are butchered and aged in-house. They also have two private rooms for large groups if you're looking to host a dinner party or celebration! * Herbed Bone Marrow * Sweet & Sour Shrimp * NY Steak * Braised Lamb Shank * Seasonal Vegetables * Faloodeh Dessert * Cocktails: Butterfly Lemonade & Smokey and Bonded Old Fashion

Yelp
I recently went back to Arya for my brother's birthday to give it another chance. First off they fixed the food issues. Maybe it was a different chef the last time. However this time was amazing. The food was excellent the service was excellent, we were six people and a baby and the bill was 680 dollars. A bit pricy but the food was incredible. The decor and ambience is beautiful also. Can't get over how good the food was.

Yelp
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE BEST HALAL STEAK HOUSE THIS IS IT! Arya is not just a restaurant, it is an experience that every steak lover has to! They are a go to example of quality, elegance, and hospitality! We were graciously taken care of from not only the servers, but were given great detail on many of our dishes from the chefs as well! The food was heavenly! Quite literally to die for! The bone marrow is a rare delicacy for us and this was the best i've ever had! The crab cake was so soft and fresh! No exaggeration this is one of if not the best steaks i've ever eaten! The chimichurri and cabernet sauce were the best steak sauces i've ever had, but even without it their steak is a 10/10! Cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, with nice sear on the outside! This is the type of steak that makes life worth living! This place is worth the trip I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant. Great staff! You absolutely do not feel rushed and the staff is very helpful explaining the menu. The restaurant is very thoughtful if you share that you are celebrating a special occasion. Parking garage behind the restaurant that was really convenient. Veggie Mezze Platter consists of hummus, sambosa, borani and falafel. Hummus, ok. Sambosa, ok. Borani, very good. The filling was a spiced potato and the crust buttery and flaky. Falafel, great! My favorite thing on that table. It was crispy on the outside with a soft a fluffy inside. I never had a falafel that I enjoyed until today! Very delicious. Steak Tartare: I didn't enjoy the texture as this resembled ground beef more than a minced beef that I am accused to for tartare. Seasoned very well, also enjoyed the pomegranate syrup which really brightened up the dish. Chicken and beef combo: The chicken was juicy and flavor packed, beautifully charred. Beef was ok. The Shirin Polo rice was seasoned with orange peel and pistachio. At first, I did not like it but it really grew on me. Very aromatic and definitely a combination I have to try again.

Yelp
Came here for my friend's birthday dinner a couple of weeks ago. It was all our first time here. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant. When you walk in, it definitely is loud. This is more of a social and lively environment. The food we ordered was good especially the paella. The only issue I had was the seating/chairs. It was too close and it was close to the table next to us. Our server was attentive at times and was friendly. Overall, I would come back.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant with great ambiance! Staff is attentive and kind. The crab cake was absolutely delicious as well as the seafood rice; in fact, it's the best I have ever had. I can't wait to return to try more of the menu. This place is great for all occasions.

Yelp
I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars due to a troubling pattern I've experienced with their seating practices. During my most recent visit, the entire dining hall was completely empty, yet my party was seated at a 4 person table that only had three chairs available. What made this particularly frustrating was that there were plenty of properly set tables available throughout the restaurant. Based on other reviews it seems is happening to Asians. Food was also mediocre at best.

Yelp
If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. Today we celebrated my brother's 40th birthday at Arya's and we weren't disappointed. We reserved their larger private dining room. Reserving with them was fairly simple and easy. They offer several different special menus to choose from when reserving one of their private dining rooms. There's plenty of variety on each menu, making sure everyone is satisfied when dining here. The restaurant is clean and organized, presentation for everything was amazing. Upon arrival I was greeted by Adrian, he would be our server for the afternoon and he did an outstanding job. We received several compliments from our party about how amazing his service was as well as the rest of the waitstaff. Our glasses were never empty, he checked in with us frequently and he attended to all of our needs. Thank you again Adrian for your amazing service! The food was amazing. Everything was flavorful and worth every penny. The kitchen staff did a great job with our food, all of our steaks were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The seafood paella received so many compliments as well. Everyone left satisfied and full. Huge thank you to Arya and their entire staff. Thank you for making today special and memorable.

Yelp
My partner and I celebrated our anniversary dinner here. We ordered more than we probably should have. We tried the dry-aged ribeye, lamb chops, baked potato, bread basket, mac and cheese, and yogurt dip. Unfortunately, my steak was a bit more rare than the medium-rare I requested and was quite chewy. The lamb chops were well-seasoned and came in a generous portion of four pieces, but one of them was excessively salty. Everything else was just as expected. I loved the vintage theme of this restaurant and the beautifully designed chairs; they really gave the place its own unique character. The service was excellent, but I wasn't a fan of the snarky comments from our initial host, who referred to me as a teenager.

Yelp
FIVE STARS! My new favorite steak house in the Bay Area. This place is absolutely incredible! The ambiance is elegant, comfortable, and gives off a vintage vibe. They also have two private dining rooms available to book. Our server took the time to explain the menu to us as well as let us know that their meats are all halal. It's difficult to find halal beef so I really commend them for going the extra mile! We started off with the calamari & sambrosa and both were delicious. The calamari was crispy and well seasoned. I also loved the detail of putting a netted cover over the lemon so no seeds could fall into the dish. The outside of the sambrosa was light and crispy while the filling was super flavorful. For our entrees we ordered the Pollo Firenze & the New York Steak. I'm usually not a fan of chicken dishes but I can confidently say this is the BEST chicken dish I have ever tried. It's a perfectly cooked chicken breast stuffed with cheese and spinach. It was so tender and flavorful and not heavy at all despite being stuffed with cheese. The NY Steak comes with a head of roasted garlic as well as a slab of garlic butter on top, which they broil for you tableside. To all the garlic lovers, you need to get this dish! For dessert we ordered the Persian pistachio ice cream with fallodeh and cherries. It was my first time have fallodeh and it was fantastic! Arya Steakhouse is modern while incorporating traditional Persian flavors. We can't wait to come back!
