Arzu Restaurant in Bishkek is a culinary treasure that beautifully combines the best of traditional and European cuisine. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. The restaurant's menu impressed us with its diverse range of dishes, appealing to both local and international palates. Whether you're craving traditional Kyrgyz delicacies or European classics, Arzu has something for everyone. The soups at Arzu were a true revelation. Bursting with flavors and made with the freshest ingredients, they were a perfect start to our meal, leaving us yearning for more. The selection of refreshing and delicious juices was a delightful addition to our dining experience. Made with natural ingredients, they provided a refreshing accompaniment to our meal. The fresh fish options were another highlight of our visit. Skillfully prepared and bursting with flavor, the fish dishes were a delight to the senses. One of the most appealing aspects of dining at Arzu was the reasonable prices. Despite offering a high-quality dining experience, the prices remained affordable, making it an excellent value. In conclusion, Arzu Restaurant is a must-visit culinary destination in Bishkek. Its warm service, delicious soups, refreshing juices, and fresh fish options create a memorable and satisfying dining experience. So far this is one of my favorite Kyrgyz restaurants in Bishkek. The soups are very good as are the lemonades, and the house Lagman is also one of the better I’ve had in the city. Not too much English spoken but enough to get by with nice service.

Local cuisine with indoor and outdoor sitting. There is a huge menu of mainly meats, beef and lamb dishes of the region. It's recommended to try if you are in Bishkek.

One of the best restaurants if you're looking for National and European food. Quick service and alcohol free place. Some cons are for me the WCs seemed quite smelly, sorry but overall it's clean but obviously it needs a renovation.

Wonderful restaurant serving traditional Kyrgyzstan dishes. The service is excellent and the prices quite reasonable. The servings are generous. Must try the iced and hot teas. They are delicious.

Food is ok, price is fair but service is poor, I'm not sure if the servers are avoiding to talk to me because I'm not Kyrgyz.....and oh, the music choice doesn't suit the ambiance, don't play such fast beat musics in a fine dining 🤔

Opened in November 2021 after being closed since approximately 2016 for renovation. 3 floors. Top floor to bottom floor is more current history to older eras. Most displays are in 3 languages, kyrgyz, Russian and english. Good variety of displays from military, garments and jewelery,, housing, art, family, financial etc. Basement has bathrooms and coat check. Some areas still empty but in general the museum is filled. Took 2 adults about 2.5 hours, going slowly.
