"Access to authentic Mexican food is one of the many culinary benefits of living in Las Vegas. In the Aliante neighborhood, the place to get it is Asada. The restaurant serves heaping portions of tacos with rice and beans, quesadillas, tortas and homemade agua fresca. Diners should keep an eye out for weekend specials on menu items including pozole and birria." - Krista Diamond

Google

This place is full of positive energy, at the first moment it doesn't seem like that when you enter, but when you spend some time inside, you will hear the chefs singing Mexican songs, and the waiter is very pleasant. But the most important thing is that their food is delicious, I didn't expect to find a restaurant with such delicious food in North Vegas, but I noticed that they are crowded, families with children come, which is the first sign that the food is good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
I knew the food was going to be good when the salsa was good and spicy! I will definitely be returning. I got the 4 tacos but my sisters (fajitas) and nephews (carne asada fries) food was delicious. Definitely getting those the next time!!

Google
Very nice experience almost weekly. The staff is friendly, they make jokes with regulars, and the food is pretty great. I've been here a lot over the last two years, and I haven't had a single bad experience. They do get busy though, and it's a smaller shop, so don't always expect to walk in and out with food, you could be waiting several minutes

Niki S

Google
The tacos were dry I have no idea why people are giving this restaurant any higher than 3 stars. The lighting is bad and there was no background music. What we ordered was mostly salty and with no flavor whatsoever I don’t recommend it, I will admit there’s only about two friendly workers there. Good luck!

Google
We unwittingly came here for the first time on Taco Tuesday, so it made sense why our simple order took 30 minutes. But let me tell you, it was WELL worth the wait. It got busy around dinner time and they apparently have regulars that they know by name. We will DEFINITELY be going back!

Delicious food ( Highly recommend the asada fajitas) excellent customer service. Juan and his staff are amazing. They made my family and I feel so comfortable.

Yelp
* Amazing food * Quality Service * Clean Dining Room + Restroom * Friendly Staff * Great Prices

Frank M.

Yelp
I don't come here often, but whenever I do, they don't let me down. The food is consistently flavorful, and the food is reasonably priced. I mean, come on now... Where else can you buy authentic for $1.50 daily except Tuesday when they're $1.00? (An extra fee may apply for some meats, but the prices are affordable.) You aren't going to get those at T.E.G. where the are damn near $5 Simplified version DONT PASS UP ON THIS FAMILY BUSINESS

Laura A.

Yelp
Asada is a Mexican Restaurant located in North Las Vegas. This isn't a fancy place. During the day you might have to order at a stand by the kitchen. When I went at night they had a wait service. They don't have a bar but they do offer margaritas and beer. They do start you off with complimentary chips and salsas. We had a much better experience on our dinner visit. The margaritas are a good size and are strong. They taste better than from some of the other local Mexican restaurants in the area. The salsas do run slightly too spicy but also actually taste better than from other local restaurants that I have tried. The signature salad is generous in size. I picked salmon as my protein and it was reasonably good. My husband had the chicken and beef fajita. The chicken in the fajita was well developed with flavors and also was very tender. The steak was average.. Service was really over the top. This just seemed like a completely different restaurant on this visit. Worth a Try!

Yelp
Juan makes the environment pleasant and fun. The meat choices are listed on the board. I will definitely go back for more next week Tuesday, when the tacos are $1 but must be bought in a pack of 5. Cheese is 50 cents extra. Get the green sauce. We called in our order and it was ready in about 15 min. Don't forget to order a large horchata. You haven't lived until you tried it from this place! I can't even describe it to you. Just try it. Perfection.

Lee R.

Yelp
The good was ok. The service was horrible. I won't be back. I waited almost an hour for 12 street tacos 13 people came in after me and all of them ordered about the same or more. Yet my order came after them. I watched. Some orders had more tacos and other harder to make dishes. I was given some half assed excuse as to how all of these other people got their orders first. Terrible service

Yelp
I had never tried the Camarones A La Diabla With Spanish Rice, but I'm SURE GLAD I DID!!!!! It was ABSOLUTELY DEVINE! Likr lick the plate when you finished. PLEASE don't be fooled by the minimal people or no people being inside, this place is a hidden treasure and EVERYTHING served to my family and I was 10 star worthy. Also, the services made us feel like family. Chips and salsa was yummy, my peach margarita FIRE and he went heavy on the liquor . This is now my husband and I new favorite place close to home!

Jeannine C.

Yelp
I wanted to tear this place up after I saw how my tacos were packaged. However, one bite of my carnitas tacos humbled me. I placed an order for 3 carnitas tacos to go and waited awhile. I believe they only have one cook, so the orders were just piling up and perhaps the demand couldn't be met quick enough. I'm not for certain, but these were my observations. Because my order took so long I decided to sit down and eat one taco because I was hungry and discovered the tacos were wrapped hap hazardly in one huge piece of foil only. The tacos were crushed, the Toppings and meat was spilling out of them, and there was no foam plate or whatever normal taco joints use to house the tacos on so I realized I could never eat this in the car. I scooped all the contents that came out of the tacos back in 1 taco and took a bite and bam...I was instantly humbled. Instead of going back up to the counter and complaining about the state of my tacos, I sat my big fat A** down and ate my food. The carnitas maybe needed a little more seasoning/marinade and they forgot my cheese but the tacos were slamming, period!

Yelp
From California so we are picky about Mexican food Closest we had to our favorite street vendor from where we use to live.

Victoria K.

Yelp
Mexican food in North Las Vegas is definitely plentiful, so looking for a place that has good food and good prices is hard to come by. My husband and I stumbled across this on our way home to find that it was only a quick 3 minute trip. The first time we went the restaurant was completely empty, but don't let is stray you away. Here is what we ordered: 1. Carne Asada Enchiladas- this was good! The meat was okay, but the sauce was amazing. Honestly though the rice and beans were great sides and made it more enjoyable. 2. Birria Tacos Combo- this comes with the consomé and was truly the best. The meat was flavorful and juicy. The tacos were amazing I could eat them all day. 3. Tacos (various meats) -Carne Asada: good meat. good flavor. -Al Pastor- i love the pineapple flavor popping through -Chicken- plain meat, a bit dry, but salsa helps it. -Beef Lengua- great bite, a bit salty on the first few bites -Birria- as stated above its a great meat. If you order outside of the combo, it does not include the consomé, but the meat was FIRE on its own. So the reason for the 3 star and not 5 star review. We have been here about 5 times. Mainly for taco tuesday. The typical taco cost about 2 to 2.50 maybe 3 depending on meat. On taco Tuesday all cost $1 except the birria with cheese. I brought my family and my in laws (who are Jewish) I ordered from here because they pack tacos together by meat. We ordered 30 tacos, 16 Carne Asada, 2 chicken, 4 lengua, 4 birria with cheese, and 4 al pastor. Unfortunately we got 20 Al Pastor tacos, and my family was on the way to the airport and sat down to find this mistake. My Jewish in-laws could not eat any of it since they don't eat pork OR cheese with meat. So unfortunately they could only share the 2 chicken tacos...and left pretty upset. We were in such a rush, and we should've checked but with such a large order I put my faith in the place and it failed me. We have yet to come back, but were hoping to give it another go. Just be cautious when calling in the order AND when taking it to go.

Yelp
Customer Service sucks here. We weren't greeted when we came in. Had to find a table and ask do we order at the counter or table and had to grab a menu. Came for taco Tuesday. I ordered muneudo, carne asada, chicken, buche carne asada tacos. Also ordered a peach margarita. The only tacos was good was chicken. rest of tacos meat was hard and no flavor. My first plate of tacos was cold and ask them to reheat, they were not even room temperature. They didn't bring no napkins and did not ask if everything is ok or need anything. Margaritas was good could had used more alcohol. Muneudo to go came out package from poor packaging and thin top. So I didn't get to even try muneudo. As I'm eating they just brought the check and did not ask if we need anything else. Need to work on Customer Service...I will come back for chicken tacos to go

Yelp
Some of the best restaurants are those local ones that don't have a lot of fan fare but the food is authentic Mexican cuisine. Two awesome things about this restaurant: 1-the margaritas are hand made to order with Patron :) 2-all the dishes are made to order, even the guacamole Can you say fresh!! Oh and taco Tuesday are $1.00, yes indeed a must visit for sure. I've been three times and each time equally great!

Kimberley K.

Yelp
ASADA, a Mexican restaurant located in the North Side of Las Vegas, may be considered a "cheap eats" establishment, but what truly impressed me was the warm and personable atmosphere created by the staff. From the moment I arrived at 9pm, exhausted from my journey, the father and son duo who run the place greeted me with genuine kindness. They went above and beyond by keeping the doors open just for me, ensuring I could enjoy my meal in tranquility. Not only is ASADA incredibly affordable, but the food is of fantastic quality. I highly recommend this hidden gem where you can indulge in delicious cuisine and experience exceptional hospitality.

Kristine R.

Yelp
Bad customer service! The food is mediocre. I will never come back and you should all avoid this place.

Yelp
This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We chose it based on the reviews while in the area. It's in a small plaza connected to a Dotty's. Unfortunately, the smell of smoke is pretty strong inside of the shared entry way and just inside the restaurant. The restaurant is set up with several table sizes to fit various party sizes. Three TVs on the walls, music playing and some decor on the walls. They offer some specials: Taco Tuesday for $1 is the one that caught my eye. It's was a Friday so we missed out on that great price and I ordered the tacos anyway. I thought there was good flavor of asada, cilantro and lemon. I don't generally like onion on my tacos, but know they would have been good if I left them on. I was satisfied after the two, it was a good amount of meat. My husband ordered the enchiladas with green sauce. To me the sauce was still spicy, but it had good flavor. Rice and beans were good, too. He liked it and cleaned the plate. We had Horchata to drink. Cost was about $30 for the two of us with 20% off first time visit Yelp discount. Seems like most people get their orders to go. There were only 2 other tables eating in when we were there, but roughly 6 or so that either ordered and waited or had an order for pick up. Some seemed to be regulars. Staff seemed nice enough, didn't see them much but we didn't need anything.

Mahogany F.

Yelp
My children had burnt chicken fingers I asked for a burrito with no onions!!! he shook his head at me for wanting the burrito to made as I asked!!! we have tried this place a few times and the food can be good sometimes the service needs some help!!!! The waiter did not come take drinks orders we had to ask him! he always has an attitude but they keep him checking out people and bringing out food he definitely needs a class in customer service! We are very loyal customers and deserve to be treated better than we have!!!!!! If something is not made as asked please make it as I asked and without such a horrible attitude!!! This is the only authentic Mexican restaurant in the area! And it's so depressing to come in be treated bad have the employee shake there head at you and not ask if you want drinks until you ask them!!!! Please to the owner this guy in the front needs to be talked to about his attitude and sub par service!!!!! He told us to sit somewhere else because he didn't have stuff to clean the table that This picture is of my sons burnt chicken fingers he tried to eat them a few times and said it left a nasty taste in his mouth and after all that we still were decent and left a tip! Even after bad service for the 3rd time

Antoinette K.

Yelp
This place is so amazing! Order will take a bit but it's because they make it FRESH! I've been going here for years but everytime I come I am welcomed with the workers. The taco Tuesday is still $1 so that great with inflation. I get the Camarones el Diabla level 4 (you can request it in a quesadilla for extra ) that's what I recommend ! Just spicy enough to make it amazing ! Can taste all the flavors ! Everything here from the tacos to the flautas to the drinks is amazing ! 3-6pm is happy hour and $5.55 margaritas

Eugine D.

Yelp
The food was great. I ordered the carne asada and the combination of everything with corn tortilla was amazing. When I went it was 2PM, I thought it would be busy but it was quiet with few people. Most took to go orders. I enjoyed eating there and the decorations and paintings made the place feel very authentic. It's a nice place to have lunch.

Anna M.

Yelp
Gave husband and I food poisoning. Not from Vegas and couldn't stop going to the bathroom with very bad cramps and nausea and things coming out both ends whilst traveling. The food did taste good, but never been this sick from food before. Perhaps this restaurant has a bacterial or viral contamination issue (it was the only thing that we ate that day).

Matt C.

Yelp
The Birra tacos were definitely greasy. Good amount of food for the price. I will come back. Weirdly empty inside, not the best for dining in.

Christina T.

Yelp
Sooo my husband went in to order like 5 tacos and a kids carne asada quesadilla and he waited for an hour for that order. Then when he got home, surprise...no meat in the kids quesadilla but you better believe we were charged for it. One and done. Never again.

J. R.

Yelp
We ordered 40 tacos today via phone. ($1 tacos on Tuesday) We show up at the allotted time for pick up. The girl at the counter did not greet my husband at the register...and she rudely tossed the pen and receipt for him to sign when she finally found the order. Then my husband waited an additional 25 minutes for our food, keep in mind we orders these tacos 30 minutes prior. She leaves..and comes back to the counter and LOOKED AT MY HUSBAND and said "Can I help you?!" Where did you go lady? A different dimension??? You can't figure out why he's sitting in the dining room? We spend $40 to $50 at this place..each time! Once a week. ASADA will no longer have our business. Do the math and fire the payaso at the counter.

Nic J.

Yelp
Not a bad restuarant. Definitely overpriced I would recommend birria tacos from here.

Don D.

Yelp
First and last time I come. The tacos are very small tortilla. With one bite it ends. And if that weren't enough, they only add a few bits of meat to the tortilla. Very expensive by the way and tasteless. Almost $10 for the two tacos.

Kamyha W.

Yelp
Place has good drinks food was good i went during happy hour i diddnt like how they charged us for regular margaritas when we called before we got up there they said it was happy hour but i guess we have to tell them we want the happy hour drinks for the cheaper price . Also charged a extra two dollars for cheese . But Overall though the food & drinks were good & i would be back

Khrystiana M.

Yelp
My absolute favorite authentic Mexican food in Las Vegas. The service is always outstanding. The ambiance could be a little more lively but is authentic. My selection here is the three taco carne asada plate with queso fresco. The side of rice and beans are also delicious.

Adriana M.

Yelp
I love this restaurant! My favorite thing is the birria! The food is always great and service is excellent. I wish more people knew about this place!!!

Tyeesha H.

Yelp
Taco are really good but very small and very pricey .... They do have taco Tuesday with deals

Ally D.

Yelp
Off menu they do have options for vegetarian/vegan diets which is so appreciated! They told me right away that their beans don't have lard. I ended up getting a burrito with veggies, rice, and beans, which was delicious. Service was great :)

BabyG V.

Yelp
Jose took too long to come out of the bathroom so I left. They don't have a big enough or selective menu. Same thing just in a different form "asada tacos, burritos, and plate" that's all.

DeBra S.

Yelp
They specialize in tacos but I came in and wanted enchiladas.I have to say they were best I've ever had, I'm not sure what the sauce was but it was dreamy delicious. I highly recommend this place

Evan M.

Yelp
Well, we thought we try a new place but as you walk in the atmosphere was just not there it looked like it was a fast food restaurant so we ordered the Asada fajita and it was dry and paper thin cut vegetables, not much in portion wise. the meat was over cooked it had no flavor and flour tortillas were hard the chips were decent but the salsa were like out of a can. The place was virtually empty. Other than those who were picking up to go orders no, we won't be back.

Rob C.

Yelp
I love this place, each time I've been here has been a positive experience. I get the taco plate with rice and beans. Great food and a very friendly staff!

Neshaa J J.

Yelp
We order this often on taco Tuesday their tacos are good I can never just order tacos I typically get plate with 4 tacos (asada & el pastor) beans & rice & I order my tacos with 1 shell Tacos are good but service even better I support this business

Eloy G.

Yelp
Visited this place for lunch while working in the area. With the positive reviews it had on yelp we decided to try it out. The ambiance is umm, just there. Just a plain Jane restaurant with no much to it. The food was average at best. I know Mexican food and carne asada coming from south Texas and this was just average at best as the carne asada was ok, lacked seasoning and flavor. The service was good. It was only two tables at lunch time so that tells you that they aren't very busy. I probably wouldn't eat here again. I just didn't feel the food was as good as others made it out to be. They could definitely improve with more seasoning on their meat and maybe and open flamed grill or a different way of cooking the food.

Linda H.

Yelp
The restaurant was tucked away but GPS took me right to the restaurant. The decor is minimal, but the homemade authentic Mexican food made up for the no frills. The service was good, and the people were friendly. I would give them a try. They are locally owned, and we need to support our local businesses. The prices were very good. I left full and satisfied. I'm going back to try the taco Tuesday for $1.00, where can you go to get a good meal for a $1.00?

Chanté B.

Yelp
Restaurant smells clean, all tables were sanitized no trash on floor. They have indoor seating with specials listed on a huge chalk board. They have $1 tacos on Tuesday every week, Torta combos on Thursdays for $9.99 and have homemade soups: Pozole, Menudo, Albondigas and Birria. They have a variety of meats to choose from besides Asada as to which their name is. Tried their carne asada fries with no jalapeños and their carne asada burrito. Fries: crispy texture of fries, flavorful and no fatty pieces of Asada. Carne Asada burritos were a great size and filling inside had rice, beans, red salsa, cilantro and fresh white onion. Also make sure to check in and you can receive a 20% off your total order. Customer service was great cashier was polite and is bilingual. He asked every customer if they wanted everything on their order and even offered if any one would like to order a drink which they do serve beer and Margaritas. He was the only person working the front of the house and was on top of everything. Price is decent.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Excellent food and friendly service! The carne asada fajitas were delicious! The chicken enchiladas were also excellent

Jessica A.

Yelp
This place is pk. Local neighborhood Mexican food. Nothing that really stands out here as fast as food, but if you are craving a reasonable price Mexican food then this place is ok. Rey spacious restaurant, very weak decor though, you can tell the decor is the least of their priority. Good device but nothing really special that would make me want to come back every week.

Acacia M.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend used to come here all the time a few years ago and it was always good and we recently went on taco Tuesday and have both gotten food poisoning. We got enough to last us that day and the following and we have been throwing up and having the runs. Terrible feeling

Jay D.

Yelp
I tried this place 3 times hoping somehow it would get better each time. The food tastes dry always and the customer service and food handling is horrible. The first time I had ordered a vegetarian burrito for someone who doesn't eat meat for religious reasons and they labeled the wrong (chicken) burrito as vegetarian. I decided it would be an honest mistake and decided to come back. The second time they gave me food that was cold. The third time I waited a long time for my togo. It was a small order for 2 people. Other people came after me and got their food first and the guy at the counter kept telling me to wait. When I got home the food was again dry and bland. The veggie nachos had plenty of veggies but again very minimal beans, sauces, sour cream, and guac. Also, they charge more for veggie burritos and tacos. No other place does this. In what world are their veggies more expensive then meat? The food is not special enough for me to overlook the bad customer experience.

Karim A.

Yelp
One of the best Mexican food spots in Vegas, the nachos are fire the asad plate is delicious and they give you good portions for the price

Micaelah T.

Yelp
Got the asada plate with carnitas tacos. They were pretty good. The rice and beans were also tasty. Would prefer pinto though. The service was slow though. Would come back for takeout.

Angie D.

Yelp
Los.tacos de lengua , soadero , y quesa virria no hay lugar que los halla probado tan sabroso! Pidan el margarita de Peaches! Que buen sabor

Aarione H.

Yelp
Wonderful wonderful wonderful! 5 stars across the board. Meat was seasoned perfectly, fries were cooked well. Everything tasted fresh and home made as described. We were welcomed pleasantly and even offered samples of the drinks since it was our first time. We ordered Carne Asada Fries , the carne asada taco plate & horchata. We were impressed and will be back! Thank you Asada!

Jamie G.

Yelp
I was looking for a good Mexican restaurant to order take-out from for a family lunch this weekend and decided to try out Asada! They offered delivery straight from the restaurant so we didn't have to use a 3rd party app. I ordered the Birria stew with 3 tacos and cheese added. This is my first time trying this style and was absolutely amazed by the rich savory flavor! So good!!! A few others got the carne asada burritos which everyone loved. In addition to that, we had an order of 3 chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans which were all seasoned wonderfully. The last item we ordered was a torta that was jam-packed with filling. The quality of food for a great price will definitely be bringing us back here soon!

Marivic R.

Yelp
The only reason I am taking a star out is because we waited so long to get our food. They are under-staffed. We were only the 2nd set of guests and there were only two of us. The food is excellent though so we will be back.

L M.

Yelp
Food is mediocre. Customer service is horrible I ordered a combo that comes with a fountain drink I asked for a water instead of the drink they charged me $3 extra for a bottle water so when I asked why they said I upgraded to a water lol! I never heard of any such thing I asked for the drink that comes with the combo since I paid $3 for the water he told me no! Didn't put any napkins in the bag and bread was soggy! Last time I will go there

Mary C.

Yelp
This place is amazing the food is always fresh and delicious the staff are friendly and welcoming I'm from California and this is one of the best places in vegas

Brooke P.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Vegas, delicious food and friendly staff. Always get their carne asada tacos and my bf loved the 1/2 chicken

Melissa M.

Yelp
Food is amazing. I've held birthday parties there for my adult kids. And I almost never miss a taco Tuesday. Service is great and food is delicious.
