Casual Mexican restaurant offering fajitas, birria tacos, nachos, and other staples, plus a patio.
"We’ve long been on a hunt for our favorite Mexican food in the Northeast, and in Asadero Los Tios, we’ve found it. The menu has range—like the number of Philly accents that exist. Everything we’ve tried has been exceptional, from the tacos and enchiladas packed with tender chicken to the housemade strawberry, passionfruit or pineapple agua fresca. Come with friends and share a massive shrimp burrito or whole fried tilapia in the backyard patio and garden while dancing along to Selena." - candis mclean
"We’ve long been on a hunt for our favorite Mexican food in the Northeast, and in Asadero Los Tios, we’ve finally found it. The menu is pretty lengthy, but everything we’ve tried has been exceptional–from the grilled elotes smothered in creamy mayo and enchiladas packed with tender chicken to the house-made strawberry, passionfruit or pineapple agua fresca. Come with friends and share a massive burrito (our favorite) or whole fried tilapia in their backyard patio and garden, or enjoy the scent of sizzling steak and peppery queso while watching Mexican Idol on the big screens inside. "Asadero Los Tios is our go-to Mexican place in the Northeast. When you walk in, you’ll see parents eating with kids in soccer uniforms or a couple on a super casual date where a shrimp burrito is the highlight of the conversation. It feels like there are about 4,000 delicious things on the menu, but we always go for an order of birria, al pastor, or pollo tacos. Each order is so flavorful that you really don’t need to add anything to them (they come with lime, cilantro, and sour cream). They’re simple, delicious, and good enough to have you singing along to Selena between bites. " - alison kessler, candis mclean
"We’ve long been on a hunt for our favorite Mexican food in the Northeast, and in Asadero Los Tios, we’ve finally found it. The menu is quite lengthy, and everything is pretty darn good, but it's the birria tacos that we get every time. They're double-wrapped, crispy fried, and packed to the edge with juicy, tender beef. Come with friends and share a couple orders in the backyard garden, along with the housemade strawberry, passionfruit, or pineapple agua fresca. " - alison kessler
