Where to Get Great Steak in Seattle

"Asadero was born in Kent, where it developed a loyal following for its outstanding Mexican food, before expanding to Ballard. The restaurant continues going strong with a mesquite-grilled wagyu carne asada, as well as some killer prime and wagyu steak tacos." - Gabe Guarente, Megan Hill

Google
Hands down my faveeeee place ever to get steak. I don’t know why it took me so long to go here, but I’m glad I finally came. The apps/sides are tasty. The free salsas go so well with all their dishes, including steaks. Def don’t skip Asadero!

Google
Came in with my family and we all ordered different things. I got to try a few dishes and my favorite was Vacio Wagyu ($39.99). My order was Prime Carne con Chile ($22.99) and I really like it, too. The sauce was a little spicy which I liked. The service was great.

Google
Fantastic service, miles above more expensive steakhouses in the area. They accommodated our party of 12 and our server was fabulous. We had a few items missed, but were fixed quickly. All food came to the table at the same time, courses were timed well, and the food was outstanding. This is the standard restaurants these days should be getting back to. Worth the drive from Tacoma!

Google
Quick affordable 5 star lunches or pocket burning Main dishes at Michelin quality! 10/10 amazing food, friendly staff, reservations or if early enough enjoy walk-in community tables (fun to chat and see what everyone else ordered). Worth every penny and the drinks are PHENOMENAL. I'd come again only to just throw a few back.

Google
Such good food and amazing service! We got a little of everything and it was delicious. Cocktails were tasty. Try the house old fashioned. Queso and chorizo is a good place to start. The Asadero plate gives a good selection of their meats and the salsa selections were fantastic. Can't wait to go back.

Google
I visited again after years, and I think the quality actually got better. All the dishes we got were delicious, and the stake was a good size good quality for the price. Great atmosphere and good service as well. Parking was tricky as there was no parking spot in the mall(?) for the restaurant but there were a few spots on the side of the road.

Google
At the intersection of a Mexican restaurant and a Steakhouse lies Asadero and what a place to be. This place is a total gem and unlike anything you'll eat whether it's a Mexican restaurant or Steakhouse. The atmosphere is chill, the food is just incredible, and the service is top notch. I wish I had more items from the menu but alas we were only visiting Seattle for a couple of days. The flavors, the mix, the toppings, and the taste, and the presentation just blew me away. Is it the best steak I've ever had? No, but I'm a steak snob. Is it great value? - Absolutely. The flavors blend so nicely it was a great experience and I would gladly visit again. Go there and see for yourself!

Yelp
Food and service was amazing! Great spot for a special occasion. Convenient parking in dedicated lot just south of the restaurant.

Yelp
The food was as amazing as I rememebered from my last visit here. Seating was a bit of a challenge since we showed up during peak lunch time on a Friday afternoon. The staff got us seated after approx 20 min wait (not bad since we had no reservation) and we immediately got some drinks and food ordered. We opted for the Steakhouse Burger, Wagyu Vacio Tacos (4), Pescado Halibut Tacos (3) and Buenos Aires Torta dishes. All the meats were cooked to medium since we like our meat on the more tender side. The tacos came with some extra items on the side, but they were tender enough to not need a thing added to them--cabbage slaw, pico de gallo, chipotle cream. The meat on the Wagyu tacos was so tender that it was so hard to eat slowly and savor every bite. The halibut tacos were also pretty delicious and melt in your mouth good. The meat on the Buenos Aires dish was cooked to perfection and the greens were a perfect balance to the baguette and meat. The chimichurri sauce was lightly drizzled on and added to the flavors of the dish. The steakhouse burger was also cooked to perfection and had a nice chipotle sauce plus the challah bun helped keep this burger together. The burger also came with a small serving of potato bites, but I concentrated all of my efforts on eating the burger. Considering how much stuff we had (lots of entrees, a tequila shot and 2 glasses of wine) we expected it to take a lot longer to get our entrees. Wait time was minimal and the food was delicious. This is my second time here and it definitely didn't disappoint. The atmosphere wasnt super loud and people were able to have conversations easily and at a medium volume range. Whenever I'm in town in Kent I'll make sure to stop by. Worth the trip, if you ask me.

Yelp
Food: My prime carne con chile was very good. The sauce had a nice kick, and the rice and beans were top notch. Some of the chunks of beef were tender, and others were a bit tough. I could have done without the tough ones. My boyfriend's tacos del patron (ribeye tacos) were good. The ribeye was nice and tender, and the tacos were big. Our friend shared a bite of his New York strip, and it was also quite good. Our server was very friendly, but he did not bring us a second bottle of water when ours was nearly empty. Parking is in a lot across the street. The place is pretty small, so you'll definitely want to make reservations. The bathroom I used was clean. I would definitely eat here again!

Yelp
We have been here several times over the recent years and this last time was a disappointment. I am surprised I hadn't reviewed them before because we have usually enjoyed coming here. This past visit, the waiter was just ok. If you are going to work in a place that has Spanish names on the menu, please learn to pronounce them! Probably the biggest issue we encountered was them being out of several items on the menu. Perhaps they had a supplier issue or missed delivery? But if you are steak house and it's a Friday (we were there by 6:00pm) one would think you wouldn't be out of meat. Both my husband and I were going to share the Asadero and the other couple we were with ordered the same. After a few minutes our waiter informed us that they only had enough left for one order. Our friends decided to choose something else. The waiter made a suggestion, which ended up costing our friends almost four-times as much. Of course, no mention when "substituting" the new selection of the drastic cost difference. Once everything arrived, we typically enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the meat on the Papas Loca was full of gristle and wasn't as good as I had remembered from previous trips. We started our meal with the Molletes and Queso Funded con Chorizo, which were both great and I would highly recommend trying, especially the cheese. Overall, not sure if I am excited to return, which is unfortunate.

Yelp
I'd recommend this restaurant for larger groups or family gatherings, thanks to its generous portions, reasonable pricing, and solid food quality, along with attentive service. This place had been on my list for a while. I came solo hoping for a bar seat, though they don't offer that. Instead, I settled into a corner high-top table, which worked well for me. I started with the Old Fashioned Cartel, made with Corralejo Anejo tequila, which was a nice twist on the classic. For the main dish, I had the Vacio Wagyu (14oz) from Snaked River Farms. The steak was served on a hot stone, allowing me to continue cooking it by slicing and grilling it on the stone. The steak itself was a very thick cut, with some parts being fatty and others a bit tough and hard to chew, but overall it was good. It came with two sauces, onions, and tomatoes on the side. While I enjoyed most of the sauces, the onions and tomatoes were a bit too salty for my liking, especially since the steak already had flavors. The hot stone presentation is fun, and it allows for some interaction, making it great for groups. However, I was hoping the steak to be ready to eat, as it required more attention than I anticipated. My server, Alex, was extremely friendly and efficient, and the rest of the staff appeared to be well trained and doing their jobs effectively. Overall, the food quality and pricing are in line with each other. While it's not the fancy experience, it's definitely a good option for a casual meal with friends or family, especially if you're looking for something filling and reasonably priced. I'd return for another visit, particularly for the portions and value.

Yelp
Came to Asadero Prime for lunch with some friends because we wanted a solid protein fix, and it did good. We started with a few appetizers to complement our main dishes, the Vacio Wagyu and La Carne Asada Wagyu. We also ordered sides, the Papa Josper and seasonal vegetables, which are not included with the mains. Overall, the quality and flavor were spot-on, perfect for any meat lovers. The Vacio Wagyu comes out on a hot stone skillet, allowing you to cook it to your liking, a unique and fun experience. The restaurant's atmosphere was fine, though a bit dimly lit. Personally, I prefer brighter spaces to better see my food. The parking situation is a little odd, with the lot located across the road, but it's a short walk. Just a heads-up: the prices are on the higher side, and sides come at an extra cost, which add up

Yelp
One of the nicest restaurants in Kent. However, at night, the location was not the safest; we parked in a side street. We had a bad first impression because the hostess was quite rude, there were lots of people crowded at the door, and it was very loud and smoky inside. We waited 10 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation, but once we were seated, it was smooth sailing and the food was very good. We had a wonderful, sweet and genuine waitress. They will ask if you want fruit in your water (orange, cucumber, lemon, etc). - Chuleta de Ribeye: incredibly flavorful, smoky and a massive portion! Get this, you won't regret it! - Vacio Wagyu: extremely tender and served rare on a sizzling stone with rosemary and salt so you can cook and season it to your preference. - Tuetanos: we were unsure why this is so highly recommended - it was shallow so there was less marrow than expected. The marrow was oily and rich but not divine. The bread was wonderful and would've been better if it was toasted. You can ask for more though! The presentation was superb. - Flan: perfect to finish off the meal. It was silky and denser than pudding. Our favorite was the chocolate, then traditional, then coconut. I was surprised by how active the experience of eating was. It was fun to build your own mouthfuls with sides of flour/corn tortillas and try the different sauces. The sauces were both a bit spicy and the green one was grassy and oily. One thing I could've done without was the Cotija cheese because it was lightly salty without much flavor. The star of the show was definitely the meat, but I've also heard great things about their baked potatoes! Our clothes smelled like smoke at the end of the night - a reminder of a memorable meal.

Yelp
Came here on Wednesday night around 6:30 pm and had to wait around 30 min for a table for 2. Parking is kind of weird you have to park on the side of the street and there's a lot of puddles on the right side. If you are sitting inside be prepared to leave the restaurant smelling like smoked meat . This was our second time here and we got the roasted potato again with bacon cheese and a crema sauce that always hits and is so massive. It's only $3 more to add meat to it but we were also getting the carne asada plate so we didn't do it this time. The carne asada plate was definitely the highlight of the meal and it comes loaded with meat and this time it had such a good char while being tender. It comes with 4 pretty big tortillas that would get you full if you share this plate with another person. My tip is to definitely cut all the meat before you start digging in or else if you eat the meat in large chunks it's really chewy. The green sauce that comes on the side combined with the salsa that comes on the plate is also so good we asked for extra. Only negative i would have to say is it really felt like the server was judging us with his tone for us not ordering more food since we were sharing 1 app and 1 entree or getting any drinks. I hope they know that not every customer is out to celebrate and drink lavishly... if we could make our own choices without being judged that would've been great.

Yelp
The food was great! I enjoyed the flavor of everything I ate! The staff were very attentive and everyone seemed to help each other out, which was lovely because it gave my friend and I the opportunity to meet everyone! The only downside to this was with the cold weather coming I had to wear my jacket the whole time which was uncomfortable to eat with. I realized that's not their fault though. Next time we will just have to sit away from front and patio door!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and insanely worth the very well priced meats. We tried a bunch of dishes and they were all fabulous. Favorites: Bone marrow - must get if you like bone marrow. Rajitas poblanas - soooo good. Can't beat the peppers, corn and cream combo! Perfect on the crostini. Vacio wagyu - love that it's served on a sizzling hot stone. The meat is just absolutely tender and melt in your mouth!! This is probably one of my favorite cuts of steak ever. Tip: start cutting and eating it as soon as served if you prefer medium rare or let it sit longer/cook longer if you prefer it more well done. Okay dishes: Papa loca - giant baked potato topped with the usual baked potato toppings but with added mountain of wagyu carne asada. Loved that there was no skimping on the wagyu!! LOVED the wagyu but could do without the rest of the baked potato ha! Guacamole - great if you like guac, I'm just personally not an avocado girl Horchata - good but very sweet Lengua (wagyu beef tongue) with salsa verde - very good, super tasty, moist and soft but personally not my jam. Hugeeee pieces of beef tongue, you can literally see the tongue details, a little too much for me! Would definitely come back if I have the chance for those above listed favorites!

Yelp
Probably my fave place I tried while in Kent. Very yummy food! Lately steak hasn't been hitting my tummy right. BUT this high quality meat was delish and I felt fine afterwards. I ordered the Wagyu Carne Asada perfectly thin cut with side of nopal and chorizo!! The nopal was cooked to perfection. I tried bone marrow for the first time...learned it's not my thing..but also maybe because it should've had cheese and I don't eat cheese. Worth the try if you're feeling adventurous. The grilled onions were one of my faves, they were soaked in a soy like juice. Juicy!! The service was nice. We were there celebrating two birthdays! We had so much food no room for desert. Cute hidden restaurant, very nice! Parking in front and on side in lot. We would definitely go again!

Yelp
Perfecto!! Nice dish and date night spot. 14oz steak is too much for me so I had to take half to go

Yelp
Food- it's always great and is good for lunch or dinner. My family and I came in May and we sat with the kiddos outside to enjoy the scenery and weather. All of us enjoyed the food and drinks. This time just me and the hubby and it is around 8:30pm so it's super packed but they allowed me to make a reservation for 30 minutes later. The staff is always friendly and food consistently great. Also the price ranges from $23-100.

Yelp
We came in as a party of five on Wednesday. We called ahead for a reservation, which was definitely the way to go considering our group size. We shared all of our food amongst each other. I would love to share the photos from this meal, but I am at Yelp's photo capacity. So I have a few shout outs to make: I love their tree of life art with the colorful glass hearts. It is so beautiful to look at and dine under. Their watermelon Mezcalita was fantastic! It had a lot of zing and smoke, and the watermelon was well balanced. I love their house guacamole, salsas and tortillas. They make these from scratch! Their Waygu is wonderful and tender. It is fun to be able to cook our steak at the table to our preference! Asadero is always a winner. I've been here a few times and always love coming for something tasty and indulgent. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing the food is to die for . The servers are awesome and the ambiance is great super place to go back and bring friends
google avatar

Gina H.

Yelp
Our server was amazing! Friendly and very patient with us while we try to managing two little kids under 5. Inside setting is dark and romantic, but noise level can get loud. Food was good for most part. Little disappointed that seasonal vegetables are things like carrots or white mushrooms, not too exciting and mushrooms were just ok. Two main reasons for 3 vs 4 star review: 1) limited, dark (no lights) and very compact parking lot and 2) several flies roaming around while dinning inside. For what could be 4 or even 5 star level restaurant, these issues should be addressed.

Yelp
Food is so darn good is also fast and drinks are yummy. Ambiance is relax with limited seating.

Yelp
Food was amazing go with the Australian ribeye it really is worth the award it received! Skip grandmas rice, I thought it would live up to the description but we should have passed. The Australian steaks is what we ordered; all three on the menu and we loved them all. To me the Ribeye was the AllStar! It comes out on a stone and they were all cooked to perfection. If you order the cheese appetizer like we did save some, melt if even better on the stone and have a little bit with the bite of steak. Oh my goodness it was amazing. The rice pudding is sure to please very creamy and excellent flavor. The server was amazing from the orange slice in my water to explaining the menu. He was great. Although it just looks like a family style eatery and basic don't let that fool you. Great location for birthday or special meals. This should be on your list. Great steak house!

The Fortunate Chef O.

Yelp
This is a high-quality experience that my family and I absolutely loved. Some of the best steak we have had, all of the appetizers and side dishes were delicious and cooked exceptionally well, and the drinks were both original and delicious. It's at a higher cost point but they definitely make sure you get what you pay for, and the service was excellent. Everyone at our table said it was one of the better stakes they have had and plans to come back with friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Our server was very attentive, helpful with the menu when the teens couldn't decide on their order, and was overall a better example of the restaurant than the food... Queso Fundido was coagulated and almost a solid piece of cheese when it arrived. We had to cut it with a knife. Guacamole was on the runny side, lots of acidity and onions which is not my taste but one kid liked it. I suspected my Zabuton wouldn't be the greatest quality judging by the price tag. I was correct, but did not expect it to be so chewy (medium temp). The carne asada plates were just ok according to my partner and the teens. Perhaps I'm too harsh because i grew up on a Mishima cow/beef farm but for $60+ for carne asada, I had hoped the seasoning and quality would be a little better. I think we fell for the restaurant's aesthetic and graphic design (this graphic designer was impressed and disappointed in herself for this) Our server was the best part of this dining experience. And the horchata. Probably will not return.

Yelp
Amazing. I love this steak place and can't get enough. Great service, amazing staff and love the vibe of the place.

Yelp
2 years ago, a friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I'm glad I stopped in for a meal. While the parking situation could be better and the location is not where I would seek out a restaurant, Asadero is great. As soon as you enter through the door, the exquisite decor makes me forget where I'm at. All the employees were genuine and friendly and provided excellent service. I was so looking forward to the wagyu on hot stone, and it did not disappoint! The loaded baked potato, salsas, torrillias, and steak sandwich were also fantastic. The outdoor area was a plus. I'd eat here anytime.
google avatar

Fiona H.

Yelp
Came here many times. They are absolutely amazing every time. I absolutely love the decor. Depending on the day, sometimes service can be a bit slow because they're packed. Queso fundido con chorizo - ok, this wasn't our favorite but this was kinda my fault. Queso is literally in the name, it's expected to be cheesy, but it's a bit too cheesy. Guacamole - there's always a bit of a salty kick to it. Have to eat it with bread or their chips. Australian wagyu ribeye - we asked for medium rare and they accidentally gave us well done. It was immediately corrected and our new steak came within 10 mins!! I typically like to remove the steak from the hot stone immediately so it stops cooking then cook each individual piece as I cut them. We share one steak for 2 people which was plenty with all the sides! Tuetanos(bone marrow) - a hack that my server taught me today was to put this on the hot stone when cooking my steak. It was truly chef's kiss!!!
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
Great find! Excellent service (Maggie), steak-house ambiance (music and pleasant indoors with seating outside as well). Delicious food that's not your typical Mexican American fare. Original and creative items on the menu that beckon me to come back. For lunch I had the wagu steak tacos. WOW! Four tacos with individual wrappers so if any fillings that fall out won't end up on your shirt. Seasoned perfectly with add/on salsas. Recommend reservation for dinner and plenty of parking in their lot.
google avatar

Arian M.

Yelp
Asadero's ambiance is a warmly dimmed and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a memorable date night. The Vacio Wagyu steak was amazing. It was tender, juicy, and had a rich flavor. Perfect for anyone who enjoys high-quality beef. The Tuetanos were amazing. The fire-roasted bone marrow with cotija cheese and crostini was a unique and delicious experience. The flavors blended perfectly, and the presentation was impressive. A must-try for those who appreciate gourmet dishes.
google avatar

Christian-Immanuel C.

Yelp
Asadero's lunch time menu options are delicious but these two are always the go to. We got the Tuetanos which is in short, pieces of bread served with a succulent bone marrow canoe. It's a good portion for two and just enough to get you excited for the entree. The Vacio Wagyu comes out on a sizzling hot stone that way you get to choose how well (or rare in my case) you want your steak to be. They come very thick but once you slice into it, you can see how tender the meat is and you can't help but drool. In my opinion, I enjoy it on its own but the table also comes with some rock salt in case you wanted some extra seasoning to it. A great bargain if you want to try some local wagyu and I haven't found anything cheaper elsewhere. Service is always great and the waiters are always very friendly. They're very attentive to when your water runs low and always are willing to give you recommendations on what to try if you're looking to try something new. I actually appreciate how most of the lighting in the restaurant is natural lighting during lunch and the space isn't overly drowned by lights when it's still bright out.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
The steaks is very salty and chewy...would not come back...and the salmon was ok not good at all..
google avatar

Scott Z.

Yelp
An amazing experience. The queso fundido with chorizo was decadent. I had a really great 18oz ribeye on the hottest cooking plate ever. I also added a Papa Loca baked potato which was also smothered in meat and bacon and goodies. Service was great and honestly...this place is a total gem!
google avatar

Anne B.

Yelp
Everything was great! Loved the atmosphere, food was amazing, service was top notch. One of my favorite spots to get steak!
google avatar

Jeff M.

Yelp
The service was extremely slow and inattentive. And I'll have to say the food was way over salted. The tables were small and the lighting was horrible. You couldn't even see your plate because the way the lights are behind is shining on the table. Definitely go during the daytime. When you have some natural light to be able to see. The one good thing is the cocktails were not bad.
google avatar

Kim C.

Yelp
I met up with a friend here earlier this evening. It was our first time. I've heard many good things about this place. It didn't disappoint us at all. We were impressed. It locates in a random plaza bldg in Kent. It sits away from most stores and shops. They have a space reserved mainly for Asadero so parking is not an issue. Good services. A young gentleman was our waiter and he was super helpful. We didn't know what to order or what dishes are good. We ordered as he recommended. And I can say all the dishes we had were tasty and actually really good. It was good that we rsvp because it was crowded. There were guests constantly keep coming in. We would probably have to wait if we didn't. The space is neither small or big, but it's loud. The layout is roomy and it's a casual dressy place. Everyone was well presentable. I'll come back.
google avatar

Kyle K.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. I'm through here for work enough that I bring some other guys with me occasionally. Asadero is really more than expected. The bone marrow app is amazing and the steak selections are very good. All factored in- I'm surprised to find such a place way up in the NW that's like this. Kudos guys!
google avatar

Jilly B.

Yelp
Came here for dinner while I was in town for work. I looked at the Yelp reviews and decided this was a good option seeing how many reviews they had. I was wanting authentic Mexican and this a great option a little more fancy in regards to the menu if you are thinking chips and salads think again. The food was great the service was great. It's in an odd location you wouldn't expect this place to be in this parking lot i was pleasantly surprised.
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
I have always wanted to try this spot. It was very busy when we came here for dinner but was seated within 20 mins. Our service was great and made recommendations on what to try. We had the wagyu and Australian steak and it was so delicious! The atmosphere inside is a bit dark but doable for a date night. Great vibes and delicious drinks! The salsas and chips were delicious too! Will have to come back to try the bone marrow.
google avatar

Rae Ann M.

Yelp
Hostess' are rude at best! The seating is terrible and I definitely won't be back! Sunday afternoon 3pm tried to seat us at a very high table sitting across from strangers! Just no! There were tables available but reserved. Cafeteria style dining
google avatar

Wendi K.

Yelp
4.5 Stars I love Asadero and this was my first time visiting the Kent location. The interior is classy and looks like the Ballard location. Instead of a razzy street though, it's located in a strip mall. You get a variety of salsas on the side of your table. Guacamole ($9.99) - Loved. Steak Vampiros ($12.99) - oh my god these were so good. The melty cheese and the steak were so flavorful. Chicken Quesadilla ($14.99) - this was fine! My friend was disappointed by this but I enjoyed it. The staff member who was helping us was so friendly and cheery :)
google avatar

Stacy M.

Yelp
This was our first time here and we went to celebrate a birthday. This by far was the best steak I'd ever had. I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Katie N.

Yelp
Came in for dinner on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Don't forget to go online to get a reservation for a spot. We got the bone marrow as an appetizer. Personally, it looks cool but there is nothing to eat, it's super greasy and doesn't taste like anything. I'd pass on it. The rib eye was cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy. The wagu beef on the hot plate was delicious. Our server forgot about us once the food arrived. We needed drinks and never got them. They give you complementary salsa when you arrive but no chips. I asked if I could get some chips and was charged $3.99 for 5 mini round tortillas. Overall, the food was great, don't forget to get a reservation and hopefully your server won't forget about you.
google avatar

Lacey R.

Yelp
Wow wow wow. The food, service and ambience was amazing. The Pear margarita was so tasty. I had to get another one! Once our food came, my filet mignon on the hot stone with all the tasty sauces to dip it in, was to die for!! the baked potato was one of the best I've ever had, and the spicy jalapeño poppers just melted in your mouth! 11 out of 10 recommended this place!
google avatar

Kristina T.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for steak--it's juicy and super tender on a sizzling hot cast iron! It's always cooked really well on the multiple occasions I've visited and the seasoning compliments the meat perfectly. It's high quality grade steak and is a great place for a nicer meal. Although it's more on the expensive end, I thought the service and quality combined justifies the price point.

Yelp
This was my third time coming here. The first two times were perfect, no complaints. This time was a little different. When we walked in we had the option of sitting outside or inside. Since it was such a nice day we decided to sit outside. As soon as we were seated at the table there were flies all around the table. And I get it it's sunny and I'm not too surprised but also I didn't want flies on my food. We requested to change to indoor seating and there were flies all around us inside too!! It was incredibly frustrating and the whole time I had to keep smacking the flies away from my food. This was really unfortunate because I think so highly of this place. The food was 10/10 and the service was great too. Regardless of the flies I would still come here again because the service and food are so amazing, but please try and get a control of the flies. They ruin the experience.

Yelp
Food was great, I would say service was pretty slow. Order was not fully correct. But good over all would definitely come back.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Kent !!!!!! Love the food, atmosphere, and expierence!!! Our server German was great. I love a server that is there when you need them, but not pushy and he was all that. THANK YOU !!!!! The steaks are EXCELLENT !!!!! We ordered 3 Vacio Wagyu and the Asadero. (Pictures are attached and identified.) I had a Maragrita Melocoton it was so good I had a second (Arette Blanco tequila, fresh squeezed lime juice, white peach puree, agave nectar, with tajin on the rim with a peach garnish) sorry forgot a picture. Also had the PAPA JOSPER Baked and seasoned potato with cream cheese, melted asadero cheese and topped with smoked bacon, crema and green onion. it was also amazing and HUGE!!!!!! Thank you for making my sons birthday amazing!!!!! Parking is across the street in a parking lot but very easy access. Only draw back was our table was by the front door and every time the door open we were hit with cold air. Shared pictures identifying what it was. I like a review where when you see an amazing dish you can figure out what is was so if you want to try it you can. Ooopppssss forgot to take pictures of the potatoe and drinks. It is on the higher priced side BUT you get what you pay for and this was MORE THAN WORTH IT !!! This was my second time here and I WILL BE BACK !!!!!

Yelp
Worth the price. The Raspberry Honey Cake is now a craving I have. I'm a ribeye gal and that there ribeye is one of the best I've had. Quality taste cook and texture! I will definitely be ordering the mushrooms every time. Guacamole bread literally made me smile. Just wished they give more bread. The chips weren't good. Habanero Cauliflower was delicious. Our server was fun and joked around with us which made our dinner experience just that much more rememberable. Make sure to make reservations and expect to wait then too. I would bring a date here for the vibe. It's classy and fun!

Yelp
Visited the place for Friday lunch. We had booked table outdoor on a sunny Seattle day . Outdoor is very nice and vibrant . Somehow I felt a peculiar smell indoor so I preferred outdoor seating. Now coming to food first time I saw server coming and giving lemon slices to add in into water which was nice and interesting. Their were not much vegetarian options from menu I could decide so server helped me with order , she suggested to take vegetarian taco and I also took Avocado as small plate . Their were 4 taco which was very filling . They also server 4 sauce to be used for taco . Food was great would recommended to give a try for sure

Yelp
I am so glad to see what Asadero has become. The nicest couple opened the first location in a rundown building on West Hill of Kent. They served such great food and they were so welcoming that success was only inevitable . They now have two very upscale Mexican Steakhouses in Ballard and Kent. The meat quality and the cooking skills rank them with the best steakhouses around. Things like the handmade tortillas, salsas, pickled onions,, and beans elevate the experience to heavenly perfection. You cannot find a better Carne Asada anywhere. Although the Mushroom side dish is not on the menu anymore, we asked and they delivered. That and the Chuleta de Ribeye and Papa Al Josper (baked potato) and Ora King Salmon were memorable.
