Asadero Tres Pablos

Asadero Tres Pablos was a well recommended place by locals for tacos. The place was quite busy even if it was already 9pm, which means people really enjoy eating here. Prices are reasonable but you must expect there might not be an available table during peak hours. Highly recommended when visiting Mexicali.

Thos place definitely top 2 in mexicali. Food was awesome, great service and the size portion are great. They have every salsa you want. Plenty of room for big party's. Highly recommend it.

Amazing carne asada! 🔥🥩 The flavor, quality, and portions were perfect — truly authentic Mexicali style. The staff was friendly, the service fast, and the atmosphere relaxed and local. Great spot to enjoy real northern Mexico grill vibes with an ice-cold beer. 🍻 Definitely coming back!

This is one of my favorite places to go in Mexicali. The food is always flavorful and filling. My normal go to is the steak quesidilla. This time I got the Steak Torta. It was good by when I added onions, tomato, and guac....it took it over the top! Another favorite of mine is the Agua Fresa. 😋

The menu was vast. The burrito had to come in two plates it was so huge.

I would say these are in the top ten best 🌮 🌮 in all of mexicali! This place gets really busy, but the service is super quick! My only suggestion to the owner is to move the salsa station away from the ordering line. People are trying to put salsa and guacamole on their tacos, and others are trying to make an order right next to those people. But other than that the place is great!

Best tacos in Mexicali! I’ve been here numerous times and the food is always great and service never disappoints. I love to bring my anyone I know here because I know it’s gonna be bomb. Although it might be full they’re quick to serve you and there’s always seating if not they’ll clean an area for you quickly. As soon as you seat you’ll have a worker bring you a drink. Highly recommend their aquas frescas (especially the fresa). Paying with card is so easy no issues. 10/10 🤩

I heard about this place from a social media reviewer, and I was eager to try them out. They're usually packed, which is a good sign, but I was lucky to come in at a time when they weren't. Their offering includes a lot of varieties that I hadn't seen in other tacos in Mexicali, including different tacos, tortas, and many other things that I wasn't able to try. They have a lot of great toppings, including delicious refried beans, all kinds of salsas and pickled onions with habanero. The aguas frescas were delicious; I had tamarind, which is fantastic paired with tacos. The bad: prices are definitely high (paid like $160 pesos for 2 tacos and 1 large agua Fresca), the guacamole was super watery (aguamole / watermole style), tortillas weren't hand made. I may give them another try once they open across the street, but I'm a bit hesitant since there are better taco offerings around.

Q: Why don't most people enjoy jokes about taco shells? A: They're too corny. Now this place makes some great al pastor tacos! The carne asada was decent but not my favorite. My friend's dad makes the best carne asada and I don't think anyone can even come close to that delicious carne asada. The tacos al pastor though here are ridiculously good. The seasoning on the spit-grilled pork was aggressive and you definitely need to ask for extra pineapple to help balance things out. I enjoyed the beans they offer here on the house as well. Hand sanitizer is offered if you walk into the shop and there's a bathroom for you to wash your hands. Grab a soda and pull up a seat for some good tacos! I recommend sitting inside if you can. The smoke from the al pastor was insane and I definitely felt my lungs being in pain afterwards. The pain!!!

They had a good variety of condiments but the Al Pastor lacked flavor. I will give them a chance another day and try other items that seem popular. The service was quick. For now, I still think Acatlan de Juarez is better, way better.
