Great Chicago Bars for Relaxing With a Rum Cocktail | Eater

"This taqueria and bar focuses on spit-roasted meats and hand-pressed tortillas, the traditional way, but with a modern take. Located in the West Loop, Asadito is a lovely spot for grabbing some tacos — everything from birria to baja fish — and catching up with loved ones. You have to try the El Albaricoque Borracho cocktail, a combination of BACARDÍ Ocho, Ancho Reyes Chile Verde Liqueur, and apricot liqueur. Salud!" - Samantha Leal

Nice place located next to Metra station and Accenture tower. It has seating both inside and outside which makes it a good pick for any weather. We went for lunch on a weekday. The system is you order and then they deliver it to you on the table. They have combos in the menu which are really nice! 3 Tacos + side + drink. I had the al pastor and the chicken tacos, for sides I had rice and beans and chips with guacamole. To be honest, the tacos were decent but did not surprise me. The chips were very good but the rice and beans was not as good. Would go back only if in the area (and try drinks!)

We had a delightful meal at”Little Barbecue” - Asadito - before the opera. We both really enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine, after five years in LA. We don’t get much of that in our new home in New Hampshire. But Asadito here in Chicago is the real deal. Friendly and helpful staff, very good food, and a very lively vibe made our experience thoroughly enjoyable. We abstained from the bar menu, since we were going to the opera, but it looks impressive, and the after-work crowd made the place pretty lively. I really loved the hot-as-hell shrimp taco (it was hot, but not 5-chili Szechuan hot, more like a 3), and my wife loved both her fish taco and toasted veggie burrito. As we would say to the opera ensemble later, “Bravi, tutti.” - great job, everyone.

I came here out of my love for tacos and the Mercian cuisine and I tell you the place did not disappointed. This place hands down is one of the best food joint I been to and I enjoyed every single thing that it had to offer. The bartender Rodney was an amazing personality and great overall professional guy who from the jump was very knowledgeable and help me through a journey of exploring the wildest side of Mexican tequilas and mezcla not sure if spell that word right lol Nothing but great vibes here, food A++ Drinks A++ Atmosphere A++ this place has it all and seems as it is to be well managed. All there staff were friendly and welcoming especially the Latin women who also seats and serves the tables I forgot her name sadly hope she don’t get mad but they know who I am referring to. I will definitely be revisiting Chicago due mainly upon this great experience I had at Asadito.

Came here for a random outing with my man and we will for sure be back! From the aesthetic, staff, and food/drinks, you can tell the people actually care about their customers! The manager has great energy and comes off as a regular person that you would want to go out to drinks/hang out with! We even got recommended a great tequila (we got to take a shot of it with everyone right before closing💯) If you haven’t been here, come! You won’t be disappointed! We tried the chips and guac and the following tacos: chicken, steak, quesabirria. We also tried the house margarita and strawberry margarita (they were very delious and we ordered 3 each.)

AMAZING SERVICE AND TASTY FOOD! Was very busy on a Thursday night and I can see why! The bartender was amazing he's a taller Caucasian looking gentlemen who unfortunately I didn't quite catch the name of that made our night spectacular! Our waiter was great as well! If you have any food restrictions they are super accommodating. The atmosphere and flavor was better than I had imagined! Highly recommend comming if you haven't given the place a try yet! GET THE LAMB TACOS! The burrito bowl was really good too.

Google
While the culinary experience was certainly enjoyable, the food is over-priced and mostly à la cart unless you get the 3-taco combo. For lunch, I got the Cuban torta and my friend got the 3-taco combo. In all, our bill was $34, which was too expensive for a lunch meal. It would have been cheaper to grab cheeseburgers and fries at a nearby sit-down restaurant. If I’m buying a $16 sandwich, a bag of chips or a small french fry should come with it.

Google
Awesome food, quick service, and perfect outdoor seating for a nice day. PSA the burritos are massive. They’re very good but if you have a whole one at lunch and go back to work you might fall asleep at your desk in the afternoon.

Google
A fantastic Mexican food spot located conveniently next to Ogilvie. Upon entering, was warmly greeted by the manager who took my order patiently and was all around super nice and helpful. Despite being to go, my chicken asadito bowl was still fresh and flavorful, and looked (and tasted) amazing. Prices are reasonable given this is far higher a caliber than Chipotle - but trust me, it’s much, much better.

Yelp
You want delicious tacos, burritos, nachos, etc. in large portions, you say? You've found it at Asadito! I have been for lunch several times and each time I swear it gets better and better! The staff is friendly and helpful, the menu is simple but has good variety, and the food is OUTSTANDING! Not only is everything bursting with flavor and tastes freshly cooked, the portions are MASSIVE! I can barely finish a Nachos by myself (and I eat a lot), the burrito is hefty, and even a "side/starter" of chips and guac is humongous! Because it's all so amazing it's hard to stop eating but you basically have to for fear that your stomach will burst. A but unassuming from the outside (although in nice wether they have ample outdoor seating) but do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal, you're going to love it!

Yelp
Great service and delicious food nice spot to sit and dine in or take to go. Service was quick and friendly and food portions were very satisfying.

Yelp
I actually order their tacos when I'm hosting happy hour at Slightly Toasted next door for my company. Their green salsa is great. I've ordered their shrimp, fish, al pastor, carnitas and steak tacos. Everything is pretty delicious, but expensive for a taco. I've tried their burrito bowls and I think their tacos are better.

Yelp
Whilst visiting my husband who works in the building we decided to take the whole family here for a late lunch. Upon entry we were informed there weren't any servers so we had to order up front. The lady was super nice and I was still sure to leave a decent tip even though it was half "serve yourself." They apparently no longer had the vegetarian burrito advertised on the menu so I thought I would go with their queso and guacamole. Pretty decent portions for the costs and both dips were delicious! I took some of the husband's beans and made my own nachos. My girls split a steak taco meal which also included a $1.00 upcharge for steak. The husband and one of my sons went with the fish tacos with a $3.00 upcharge. Yet, here is where they lose two stars, those up charges are PER taco. So my daughter's taco meal ended up being $21 whereas my husband's and son's was $27! I'm not going to lie when I say I felt a bit scammed as it is not written that clearly in their menu. Had I known I believe we would have just ordered a bunch of tacos ale carte. The extra cokes weren't worth it. I digress. The food looked great and I was told everything was delicious. I know the dips I ate were! The ambience is fun, and I heard it's even better when you dine outside. I would probably return to try their margaritas, but unsure if I would ever go with their taco meals.

Yelp
I came across "Fiesta Friday" on the website's happy hour menu and my coworker was working from home and came to the office for us to go tonight. When we got there, we were told they don't do that anymore, but should still honor it since it's on the website, but had to ask the manager. The manager said, I don't know why that's still on the website, it should have been taken down weeks ago, but we don't have that anymore and dismissed it. This was the reason we came. We were then told everything is different now and we have to go to the bar to order our drinks, wait there for them to be made and bring them back to our table ourselves and then come back to the bar to order food. And for these reasons, we were out.

Yelp
Hello All Had the pleasure of stopping in here for a holiday party recently. Excellent place. Price Drink Food Service All excellent Will be back :)

Yelp
Gave the entire office food poisoning. Greasy inedible food. The birria was chewy and bland. What a POS owner to get defensive and start calling reviews fake when you made an entire office sick. I have the Uber Eats receipt I'll post. Grow up.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been eating and raving about their birria tacos for the past year. Every time I order them they're knockout. Crispy, cheesy, layered flavors...simply delicious. Sadly, my last two orders were the opposite. Last week when I received soft, floppy birria tacos I assumed it was an unfortunate overlook. That's fine, things get busy and mistakes happen. However the same thing happened again tonight which was a real bummer because I was hoping it was just a fluke. This time the tortillas were so saturated and soggy that they ripped on the fold. A birria taco that ripped. Like I said- bummer. The consume was also missing, but truthfully the flavors are done so well it's not always needed. I was also fine with not adding anything to the taco to make it even more soggy... I'm posting this review in the hopes the owners see it () because these birria tacos are truly phenomenal when done correctly. Perhaps there's a new cook or quality control has been a lacking? Who knows. Either way, still holding out hope it's a fluke.

Yelp
The location of Asadito is pretty convenient since it's right by the train station and some bus stops. The service here was great, and there were quite a few taco options. However, I feel like the food here was just alright, and I feel like it was just missing more flavor. The tacos were okay, but I think they were overpriced considering the quality. Don't get me wrong, if you're craving tacos this spot fixes that. However, I probably wouldn't come super often.

Yelp
Went in July 16, 2019 with a co-worker to have these tacos we heard about on Eater Chicago. Don't get me wrong, the tacos are delicious. The hand made guacamole was so fresh. It was the waitstaff. My friend and I sat at a table and we were yelled at for sitting there since we only ordered tacos and nothing from the bar. Told us to sit against the benches and to eat and leave since they were expecting a large lunch rush. Really? I asked for Mendoza but they said he was next door at his second restaurant/bar. We will not miss the service but the tacos were excellent. Hopefully the service has improved since 2019.

Yelp
Another great place that took turn for the worse... Not sure what happened to Asadito and why they redid the menu, but the new menu is absolutely terrible. Presentation is not good; taste of food is not good; selection is not good. Before the menu was worked out down to a perfection (taste-wise, presentation-wise, etc). Now, we are being served with some food-grade substance that is supposed to remind us of tacos. Also, what happened to lamb tacos? They are gone... let me guess: cost control + corner cutting? Not good, Asadito... not good...

Yelp
The food was yummy! We had no problem finding a table and got our food fairly quickly.

Yelp
I work nearby and stop here for a steak burrito every time. Their beans are also delish! I've had a couple instances where the rice was a little undercooked but never the less good meal. A recommendation would be to provide more sauce or maybe larger sauce containers for sauce lovers like me. We'd appreciate it! Regardless, Asadito is a good lunch staple.

Yelp
Okay, right off the bat, super friendly staff. If I was rating this place based on the staff I interacted with for my to go order, it would be 5 stars. The food, though, well, that leaved a lot to be desired. Imagine a lot. Now keep going. Imagine a lot more. Now run with it and imagine even a lot more. I ordered a lamb burrito and was excited to try it as I love lamb and I love burritos. When I got back to my office and unwrapped the burrito my hopes were still high. But then I bit into it, and all I could taste was the tortilla and the rice. And the rice. And even more rice on top of that. A quarte of the way through the burrito and I know that I was eating bit of the lamb because I could see, but I had not yet tasted any lamb. The taste of the rice was very over powering, and about 80% of my burrito was nothing but rice on top of rice on top of even more rice. And it was not even good rice. It tasted like a slightly minty version of the rice you get at Chipotle. There were whole cilantro leaves that looked like they were sprinkled on top of the rice before everything was rolled up and much like the lamb, the you could not taste the cilantro, unless you picked it out of the rice and ate it by itself, which I did, just to taste something other than the rice. Have I mentioned that there was a lot of rice? I did? Well, maybe you should imagine a bit more on top of what you already imagined. Now you might have a proper idea of how much rice was in this burrito. In addition to the burrito I order chips and spicy salsa. The chips were fine. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about. The salsa was okay. It had a very strong chipotle pepper flavor. It was slightly flavorful but for what was supposed to be spicy it was boring. Oh, it had heat, but it the only reason I kept dipping my chips into the salsa was because I paid for it. And even that could not keep me going and about halfway through my chips I gave up on the salsa. The salsa verde, though, was truly excellent! I would definitely go back there to get an order of chips and salsa verde. There is pretty much no heat to it, but it is quite delicious. I actually drank the little cup of it that came with the burrito. Sadly, the salsa verde is not good enough to make me want to eat another burrito so overloaded with rice that you cannot taste anything else in the burrito, especially not when paying that much for lamb! Oh, not to go into too much detail, but since I got home at work I have paid for this burrito three more times on the commode, if you know what I mean, and I think you do. If you find yourself in the vicinity of Ogilvie Transportation Center and are looking for a good burrito, go to the French Market or the Ogilvie food court. Both have better burritos. Yeah, you will not find lamb meat, but then again, I barely found any lamb in the lamb burrito from Asadito...

Yelp
I am shocked that this place doesn't have higher reviews! I walk past it every day, it's only about 2 blocks from my work so my friend and I decided to try it the other day. It was AMAZING. He had a steak quesadilla which was delicious. I had a quesa birria taco and a fish taco. They were possibly the best tacos I've ever had and I'm not even exaggerating! Margaritas were also good and the house margs are only $7 during happy hour. It's an order at the counter kinda place, so there isn't technically a server. But the guy at the counter was super nice and the environment was pretty chill. I'll definitely be going back!

Yelp
Excellent food and really good service. A great place for a casual dinner. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I used to go to Asadito when I worked in the area a few years ago. I haven't been there for so long, I didn't recognize the name when I ordered online for delivery todaym what jogged my memory was the location I saw on the delivery app order tracker. Anyway, the burrito I got was fine. It kind of didn't have much of a distinct taste. It was a grilled mushroom burrito. All the fillings just kind of blended together. Nothing stood out. The hot sauces on the side were also kind of bleh. Interestingly the queso has the texture of being like a paste rather than being cheesy. Overall everything was ok. It was big and filling and I certainly couldn't finish the burrito.

Yelp
Great tacos and margaritas!! I loved their Cranberry Ginger Margarita, House Margarita, and Passionfruit Margarita! My favorite tacos are Al Pastor, Barbacoa, Steak, Lamb, and Quesa Birria de res in that numeric order. Staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Sign up for their emails and you get a $25 credit towards a $75 bill.
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
Counter order quick serve place with a fairly extensive menu. I wasn't a fan of the nachos, which used liquid cheese and didn't have a lot going on, but I loved my three taco plate. Lots of fillings and toppings, they needed none of the red and green sauce that accompanied them, as spice levels were perfect. My favorite was the pastor, but the carnitas was also excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Taco dinner = $5 margarita happy hour! Insanely delicious fish tacos, strong margs and Rodney is a riot!!
google avatar

Crystal N.

Yelp
Huge tacos for what you pay for, but boy, oh boy, bring a gallon of water. The tacos were super salty and to be quite honest, the staff was a little...standoffish. I was there for a late lunch/early dinner, so I was only one of three other tables there, but I could see the service was unfortunately consistent. I had heard so much about this place, but the food was too salty. No thanks.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place on my lunch break. I was excited to try it since I never had it. Went inside loved the neon sign. Observed the staff training someone they welcomed my coworker and I. I observed the menu everything sounded pretty good. I decided on the birria torta. It was delicious. My coworker got ordered the two taco dinner. She said it was pretty good. My only complaint was the cost and what was included. No rice or beans just the torta $13. Overall I would like to go back and try some drinks and other dishes.

Yelp
I can't really recommend this place. I don't really know where to begin. I'll start wit they're website, it states it's "authentic." Definitely not. They weren't very welcoming at all. We walked into this place and not a single hello, or welcome. No acknowledgement whatsoever. We started walking towards the right where the food was and the guy pointed to the other guy standing behind the counter. They didn't have chicken tinga, or steak tacos. So barely much to order. The wife and I both ordered a barbacoa and al pastor taco for each with a side of their elote. The barbocoa taco was tasteless and dry. It was topped with a cucumber pick de Gallo, but didn't do much to the taco. The al pastor was topped with "charred" pineapple...definitely wasn't charred. And cilantro. The al pastor was very mushy and had a weird texture. Not sure what they marinated the al pastor with, but it wasn't that good. Lastly our elote. It was roasted corn, with lime aioli, guuajilo chili, queso and cilantro. Obviously a Mexican street style corn, this was very tasty. But I'll admit, it is definitely not roasted in house. I'm almost certain they used a canned version of this roasted corn, as I've had it before and loved it out of a can. But disappointed that it ended up on a restaurants menu. Definitely won't be returning, and I'm pretty sure they really wouldn't care either. We didn't even receive a thank you on our way out.

Yelp
Can't really recommend this spot :( was just looking for a place to get a bite near Old Town Barbershop this afternoon. I attached a pic of the Asadito bowl which is their equivalent of Chipotle's burrito bowl. It's $14, pretty steep for a bowl of this size! But the ingredients are more varied and overall I'd say better than Chipotle, though I like Chipotle's guac. For some reason when I got my dish it smelled kinda smoky? Like cigarette smoke, not in a good way..not sure if there's possibly someone smoking nearby or how that happened. Side thing, it's a little weird that the receipt has a minimum 18% tip when this is kind of like a to-go spot, there aren't waiters or anything.
google avatar

Toni T.

Yelp
Got take out via Uber eats, ordered the steak burrito and chips and green salsa. I would say this meal definitely held well in transit from the restaurant to my apartment! This meal easily became 2 meals for me which was a great deal for the price. I've heard great things about dining in and hope to do that sometime in the future. To top it off for take out, it was delivered in less than 30 minutes on a weekday after work so I greatly appreciate that!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome food super delicious with excellent attention to the customers!!!! If you are one of those many who walk by and haven't taste this food !!!!!! I urge you to come by and try it. You'll be glad you did!!!!!!

Yelp
Food was average had the birria torta did not taste authentic but it was edible it is over priced but it is near the loop nachos were pretty big. Service was quick ambiance not sure just normal lunch place. Would not visit again way better options.

Anushi T.

Yelp
Came here with a few friends on a Saturday night, and we were the only people there for a while, with a few groups coming in after us. This place would be described best as fast casual -- similar to velvet taco or chipotle. We ordered at the front, and then the food was brought to our table. The nachos and tacos are nothing to write home about, but the portions are generous for the price. They also have a full bar that boasts a number of different types of tequilas and mezcals. Overall, if you're nearby, and want to grab a quick meal or snack, it's worth checking out. Wouldn't be a bad spot to have a few drinks as well -- but definitely not worth going out of your way.
google avatar

Yelp
solid and affordable spot in the west loop area for mexican food! one of the first places i've been in chicago and the vibes are great. got a tecate mexican lager and 2 tacos: al pastor and roasted mushroom & pepper- both were solid!
google avatar

Jasmine N.

Yelp
The Birria tacos and rice and beans were really really good here. Seasoning was perfect and the meat was velvety. I got the three pack, but those birria tacos were huge....as they should be! The rice and beans were top notch, never had any like those before. My son had the ribeye burrito and said it was good as well.

Lefai K.

Yelp
I strolled by this place and since I love tacos, I decided I needed to give it a try. This place sell street size tacos, but they are fulfilling. The setup is pretty straightforward and simple. When we went, they had several paper menus in the rope offed line as well as a big overheard menu. Tell the person behind the counter what you want and the staff prepares the food. The setup and presentation is very Chipotle-esque. The person who started the order grabbed some corn tortillas with his ungloved hands and grabbed heaping amounts of protein to my tacos. I'll let the hand germs pass in the name of healing amounts of meat. I ended up ordering three tacos: Barbocoa -- beef brisket. Lots of meat in this one. The meat was somewhat moist and the flavor was A-Ok Citrus shrimp -- this one came with several shrimp and a spicy kick to it. Me likey. Chicken Tinga -- this came with queso and was ok. Chicken was kinda dry. Seems like it's hard to nail-down this. Overall, good was a-ok. I like the portions but the flavor, depending on what you order, can be hit-or-miss. Definitely worth trying out if you like tacos and you're in the West Loop area
google avatar

Rodger B.

Yelp
Mind you, this review is solely based on service. I had a GrubHub pickup deal for the place next door (Wok n Bao) and they had you pick up the food inside Asadito. I asked if It was ok if I bought a beer and ate my food inside, and they gladly allowed me to do so. Rodney and the rest of the dudes were about the most friendly guys that you can possibly imagine. Friendly, passionate about what they do, and super energetic. Beers are quite reasonably priced for the West Loop ($5 for an Old Style 16 oz can) and the spot definitely had sick vibe. Rather than paying for overpriced beers in Union Station, roll over to Asadito for great vibes, good music, and even better conversation!
google avatar

Gurleen K.

Yelp
Cute little taco place with great guacamole! Great location for after work events! The space is a little small so it can get a little loud and a bit hard to carry a conversation.
google avatar

Farzin K.

Yelp
More like 3.5 got delivery and it was very well packaged neat and clean and provided plenty of napkins Food Pros: yummy chips and elote (note it's a dip type very creamy not like traditional), red sauce is yummy and hot, green sauce is perfectly mild and flavorful Rice and beans yummy Downside: the torta with mushroom was wayyyy too soggy and filled. Also forgot to note that I did have that odd cigarette taste like charred into the bread of the torta which someone else mentioned in a review, perhaps it's a grill or oil used that causes that...And caution it's a huge portion so good value if you get it and eat it right away maybe though I did do priority so not sure how it got soggy so quickly as I was tracking . It did not come cut. I would give it another try maybe at store or try a different entree.
google avatar

Maitri S.

Yelp
They have a limited of vegetarian options but personally, I didn't think they were worth the price. The tacos came with marinated cabbage/mushrooms in a peanut sauce but no other toppings. The nachos were better but I was missing the melted cheese element. Overall, it's a cute place for fast paced lunch options.
google avatar

Brea S.

Yelp
Came to Asadito to get a quick bite with friends, being it was my first time Rodney suggested for me to try the Birria tacos, they were good. The table also got guac, queso, and a few barbacoa tacos. The prices for a single taco are a bit high for my taste, but the service was so amazing I have to go back. We got a couple of drinks and enjoyed our time until close. Next time I'll try a combo and will probably feel better about the price point. 4 stars are for pricing and are not indicative of the service or food.

Yelp
A casual local favorite, really good burritos and very big. Love their corn and churros too. Kind of hard to find if you don't know where it is but it's located in an office building. Their staff is friendly and their margs are good. They are also on UberEats so you can either sit there or get it delivered. Definitely holds up when delivered too.
google avatar

Anna K.

Yelp
We ordered Asadito on DoorDash and it was such a pleasant surprise. I was a bit worried that the items would be soggy, but everything was fresh and felt like table side quality. I went for a chicken tinga and a carnitas taco and they were both flavorful and delicious. The guac and salsa were perfect to share and the chips were homemade and great too. Would definitely recommend for takeout!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and excellent food. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. I was solo and from out of town and they made me feel very welcome. The food came fast and was amazing. If you're in Chicago check this place out.

Yelp
Fantastic new taco and drink spot right next to Ogilvie. I've been here a few times in small groups and in a bigger group of work colleagues and they've been accommodating and delicious every time. I recommend the chicken tikka taco, the elotes, the blended mezcal, and the churros. Holy crap the churros are so good. The staff and the owners are extremely friendly and make any time spent at Asadito a complete pleasure. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Jenna P.

Yelp
Citrus shrimp taco tasted like DIRT. Took 1 bite and asked if I could try something else and they said No. Guacamole was not fresh. Barbacoa taco was too salty. & all of their tacos we tried were not hot.
google avatar

Jim D.

Yelp
I was intrigued by the low prices however the final product is nothing to get excited about. The vibe here is post work/happy hour/social gathering type of place. It also seems as if the food is designed to feed a drunkard or stoner crowd. The dishes seems simple & while I can respect the fact that they didn't overdo it, I still suspect for food to be amazing & life altering. The protein in the tacos was virtually flavorless & the same goes for the provided sauces. The elotes was the highlight of the meal but even this dish was merely ok. I think it could improve with some fresher ingredients. On a somewhat busy Thursday night there was plenty of paid street parking available & although the restaurant was somewhat crowded I still managed to get in, place my order & be out in under 10 minutes.

Yelp
I checked out Asadito the other night and absolutely loved the vibe. The space is super cool and casual. They have a new outdoor space, which is great for the summer and spring months. First, let's talk about the food. The individual tacos, which cost about $3.50, are DELICIOUS. You can tell the tortillas are homemade and that the kitchen put some love into these tacos. Unlike other taco joints, Asadito's tacos were pretty big and generous in the fillings. I'm a vegetarian, so I got their mushroom one. It was probably the best veggie taco I've ever had. It was hearty, slightly spicy and very flavorful -- you definitely wouldn't miss the meat. My cousins got the steak, brisket and chicken ones and they seemed to be very impressed. We also got guacamole and elotes. The guac was super fresh and the elotes were really tasty. I put a scoop of both on top of my tacos for even more flavor. We were too full to order the churros, but they looked insane. Next time! The place is called a taco & tequila bar, so we obviously had to get some drinks. The menu had an extensive list of shots and pours, but we opted for the specialty margaritas. I got the spicy strawberry basil one, which is good if you like heat. My cousin get the avocado one, which was unique and actually delicious. My also tried the house margarita and it was fantastic. As the neon sign behind the bar says, "f**k me, I'll have another." Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience here. Food comes out quick and is full of flavor. All of the drinks area on point as well. Highly recommend stopping by Asadito. The prices are very reasonable, so you can order a lot without breaking the bank.

Yelp
1. You can pick by the taco. No need to buy a 3 taco lunch plate, all the same flavor. 2. Reasonable prices. $3 to $4 per taco. 3. Good guacamole. 4. GREAT FLAVOR! OMG these tacos are good! 5. Good, friendly, attentive staff.

Yelp
Would never recommend this restaurant. tamale was 95% masa and 5% filling. Wayy too salty and not flavorful birria taco and birria torta did not include the consumme to dip the taco and torta into. the taco was insanely dry with zero sauce, and the meat was very dry and too salty. the torta was extra salty and not flavorful on any levels. churros were not great and every bite was just biting into a ton of oil in my mouth With Covid being a tough time for a ton of small businesses, I don't like to trash on businesses, but this food was just not enjoyable by any means and I was lied to by not receiving a birria entree. I would not have ordered from this place in general if they didn't have birria. none of my food was hot either, which makes no sense since I got it in 30 minutes from ordering and i'm less than 1 mile from the restaurant.

Yelp
As a native Texan from the State of TexMex, and as someone who's traveled all over the country eating way more tacos than I'd ever admit to my cardiologist, I can honestly say this place is the real deal. These tacos were stuffed with delicious goodness and flavor. And priced pretty damn good as well! (the same tacos would be double the price in Miami, and not nearly as good) I had the al Pastor and the Barbacoa, both stuffed with juicy meat. I only wish they offered a flour tortilla option, but then again the mix they use for the corn tortilla was better than your traditional store-bought corn tortilla. Still a damn good taco. The corn elote was pretty tasty as well!
