Love this location. I've never had a bad experience there. Even when the line has been out the door, the staff are always very friendly, nice and patient. I saw Marcos today and he was amazing! Very helpful and patient (I changed my order on him 2x) Amazing attitude and all around great vibe. Thank you for your help today Marcos Also to add... The $3 that you get charged at this location if you use your debit card your bank reimburses you that back within 24 to 48 hrs. I also believe if you pay cash you get that back at check out.

The best medical dispensary in Chicago I’ve been to! The kindest staff at any dispensary. When I negligently lost my glove, an employee ran up to make sure they got it to me. This was my first time here and I was wowed by the attentiveness of staff and attention to detail. Super comfortable, chill location off the blue line at Logan Square. Just a short walk past Daisies and there you’ll see the baby blue gates. This little enclave left a nice spot to shake off the snow and stamp out boots before entering. Staff immediately greeted and were genuinely nice to me and my friends. We were asked if we needed any help or had any questions. I placed my order on their touch screen menu and was led to a hallway that took me to the dispensary room. To my immediate left was the medical marijuana sign and they were all ready for me. The staff member ringing me up was very informative about the medical marijuana program as this was my first time using my medical marijuana card. I was given an incredible deal on shake and edibles and was even gifted an edible for being new. Everyone seemed super cool, great product and even better prices.

We love Ascend! The prices are really good, especially for being in Logan, but really, it's the staff for us. Amazing people work here. We buy every 2 weeks, on payday, so we are here OFTEN. Do we have favorite bud tenders? Why yes. Yes we do! Xavier, as they have always been so kind to us. So incredibly helpful. Made sure that we had a good laugh if it looked like we were having a hard time or a tough day. Just an incredible human being, and we are so lucky that we get to see them every two weeks. Literally the reason that we don't shop other places anymore. They are awesome! The products are solid. We are able to get what we need at a decent price. Especially for where it's located. Super consistent with their inventory. That's a really good thing. Not having to chase the items that we need all over town is really nice. And can I just give a quick shout out to their security people as well? They had some solicitors standing out front when we went there today, really verbally aggressive solicitors, and when we went inside and told them what was going on, their security guy went outside immediately to rectify the situation and then he came back inside, and came looking for us to make sure that we were okay. We just really appreciated him so much. He's just such a terrific guy and he's always so helpful! 💕 We just can't say enough good things. We really like this location and the staff here. We are a little bit older than most of their demographic and they are always so kind and generous with us. We just can't recommend them highly enough, shop with confidence!

Saw the black Friday deals it’s not really a sale if you’re changing the subtitle of the mouth anyone who’s shopping at any ascend or any other locations please be advised they increased the subtle but made it look like they’re getting a good discount if you check the price of the next day, you’ll see the subtitle has changed total rip off for Black Friday deals do not shop. And yes, corporate I’ve seen this when someone who actually sees the pricing consistently will tell everybody on that and ruin it for you. Have a wonderful day. Try better next time. I don’t have a problem with anybody at the store. All the employees are great, but when corporate changes things and doesn’t make it a fair deal for Black Friday deals, I’m gonna say something about it.

i have some annoyances in regards to illinois regulations but those aren't ascend's fault. employees have always been super nice and understanding of me as someone who moved to this state very recently. always nice when the people in the store actually try the products and give honest recommendations. shoutouts to the guy who checked me out today and told me about the rosin he's tried. can confirm he was right on the money.

the 3 davids helped me and even hooked up extra because the register took like 20 minutes with an error processing! this is the only dispo worth your time in the city you can use your debit too.

Very cool place. They do medical. A few years ago it felt very cold here but it now has a great artsy atmosphere and very efficient, the front room is huge with kiosks to pick out what you want. Menu is super easy to navigate. Super friendly staff. Open late. Right next to a cool pinball bar.

So I came in today and purchased the brand, “High Wired”, infused cannabis 3.5 g. Infused shake. So I asked the worker is it flower infused with Kief and he said yes. So I went ahead and purchased. Although when I open it the jar it looked more like 2grams of shake. In the beginning I was disappointed, but when tried it out. Talk about high quality, very clean taste and no anxiety. Love this dispensary, First off "Sid" looked out and I got what I needed. "Shelby" took care of me at the counter and her dope energy and good vibes flows with the whole spot. Love coming here. The deals are dope and smoke is always fire...SMOKE ON PLAYA's.... Great staff the vibes are always dope in there. If you ain't shopping here your sleeping kidz.

I moved to Logan from Lakeview about a month ago and was stoked that there was an Ascend outlet here because the prices are lower than at other locations. I ordered online and when I got there, check-in was normal. Then, something really frustrating happened to me. Keep in mind I've already been to the Logan Square location 2-3 times before and have been a frequent at Ascend River North for about 3 years now with minimal issues. When I get to the counter at the Logan location, they were missing one of the carts I've ordered so I asked for another one as an alternative. Not a big deal. Then, they scanned my out-of-state ID and told me I couldn't go over the out-of-state limit. Although I have a Wisconsin ID, I have been a Chicago resident for a few years now and have never had a problem proving my residency through my lease in order to obtain the in-state limit. When I offered to show them, they said it has to be on my ID and no other form would be accepted. Perhaps the law was always supposed to be this way and they are cracking down at dispensaries now, but it made me upset that the worker said it was "impossible" for me to get 3g at a time when that's all I've ever done. The fact that they gaslit me in front of the worker that helped me last time was wild. I feel really bad for making the workers pull my product from the back then not buying anything but it really would have been nice if consistency could affect all locations so I know what to expect as an official Chicago resident with an out-of-state ID.

The single-most disappointing retail experience ever -- like passing through a dark chamber and then onerous security just to wait in a slow line at a currency exchange!!! Because we live nearby, this became our default dispensary immediately upon legalization. We tolerated the poor shopping experience in a dark room, the clumsy tablet interface, and the spotty inventory. We then passed security to wait in line in a drab fulfillment room for our purchases to rise from the basement and be passed through the thick lucite window. The whole experience always made us feel dirty, like we were doing something illegal. And bizarrely, we always felt compelled to leave a generous tip. But that has all changed with a recent pre-roadtrip miscommunication, a $70 mistake at Ascend that left us scrambling to find a dispensary off the highway in Rockford, Happy Cannabis. HC opened our eyes to how badly we've been duped with the poor experience at Ascend and showed us just how normal and pleasant and quick a dispensary can be. My wife declared, "I won't ever go back (to Ascend) -- I'd rather drive to Rockford!" Well, I'm sure driving to Rockford won't become routine, but we'll definitely never again walk over to Ascend.

Wait times are pretty terrible. Other than that, good product. I'd look elsewhere if you're in a hurry.

Ascend Logan Square is legit the slowest serving dispensary I've ever been to. Idk how they even receive tips because the service is terrible. Avoid at all costs..

Amazing staff and service. The woman at the counter was super helpful with helping me order and making recommendations. And the dispensary checkout guy was super welcoming and pleasant and made sure I got my 15% discount as a new joiner. What more could you ask for?

You should not have restrictions on how people spend their points. If they have the points they should be able to use whenever they want even on items that are on sale

I was desperate to find something to help me sleep. My insomnia has been off the chain lately. Kevin D made a recommendation that worked like a charm! I had the best sleep last night that I've had in months. I'll be recommending all my friends go here. Service was great, ordering was super easy, I was in & out quickly.

The operations of this business is incredibly inefficient. They've been under construction for close to 2 years, which is their explanation for the ridiculous organization of this business: They have 5 people doing the job of 2-3, you have to wait in line to wait in line to wait in line again. You order online and still have to wait in line. Instead of calling people up to the window, why don't they just have customers go up to the window like every other dispensary? Then you don't need to check peoples ID's twice. From online order to leaving, it takes at least 45 minutes. Then you get dropped off to Fullerton and have to walk around to get back to parking. Go a little further to NuEra and you're in and out, free parking to boot. The employees are fine but management should really re-think the operations here. This was the second time and last time I use this dispensary.

Really kind staff who work hard to manage a lot of orders! This isn't a place to come hang out and pick things out impulsively: you have to order in advance. Important to note that this location was originally set up as a medical dispensary. In accordance with state law, medical card holders will always get priority. If you're ordering recreational, River North location is the place to go. But if Logan Square is a better location for you and you're ordering recreational (eg no medical card), you'll definitely feel like you're flying economy class: You'll get what you need, but you might agonize as you watch medical card holders breeze through while you wait in line. Try not to order for pick up on a Friday night after work (unless you want to risk waiting for a bit!). TIPS 1) don't expect fast service on a busy day if you're recreational 2) avoid ordering Fridays after work since those are the busiest times and 3) staff have a tough job but do it with kindness and grace- show them appreciation! We are lucky to have great dispensary options in Chicago. Gratitude goes a long way.

This review has been building since "Ascend" took over this once totally fine dispensary...The quality of the product, the prices/deals, and the general feeling of this place has all been on the decline since it was rebranded as Ascend. I buy top quality flower, and when I get home and break it open it is consistently months old. The "free" pre/rolls and vapes that give after spending enough money are always pure garbage that lead more to headaches than relief. And all of this is because they are corporately owned and care more about money than their customers. I am honestly dumbfounded by some of these reviews that are so glowing, they must be employees. There is no way anyone who has waited 40 min for their pre-order that was made 5hrs ago has had an enjoyable experience. The budtenders are usually nice, but most of them know nothing about their product offering beyond it got them high AF. Cool bro, I am here so I am not dependent on pharmaceuticals. Can you give me a little more info on the effects of this strain beyond that it got you wasted? Then on to the website, and additional customer service. The website, which looks slick now, is filled with security holes. Hope you like giving all of your personal information away. They also do not answer emails, or phone calls, at any of their locations...problem with a product? tough shit. Question about a promotion? by the time it is answered the promotion is over Bottom line is that this is now a dispensary for non-medical customers. They do not care about taking care of you, because they do not care about repeat business. DO NOT SHOP HERE

The wait is incredibly long, to the point as I wait to pickup there is someone sitting on the floor next to me. There are better, more efficient, and more affordable dispensaries in Chicago.

Slow, immature , unknowledgeable, obnoxious , poor management . Employees are like USA mail clerks milking the clock . Teams of associates to do the duties of one person

Easy and thorough process. Everyone I interacted with was very professional. Very chill vibe and trendy music playing throughout.
