Yelp
A walkable, cozy, and bustling coffee shop inside Crescent Court with BOLD pour overs and appetizing dishes. This is my go-to place for productivity. Even though I usually prefer the silence of libraries when I study l, this place remains the exception. I love feeling an indescribable togetherness with the other people convening for business, pleasure, school, and/or just because. Because the coffeeshop is in the middle of uptown and inside the Crescent Court, it's a popular place. It has never been too popular that I've had to wait. Although cozy, the place has tons of seating for probably ~75ish people. There are several tables and seats outside for those who prefer that option.
Go-to items are the curry chicken salad croissant with house salad (nothing too special about the salad so maybe get the frites?), migas plate, pour over, and hot matcha with classic syrup. I choose light options here since I know eating their delicious popular brunch burger, fried chicken sammie, or frites may induce a deep food coma. I can't wait to try these foods on an easy weekend though.
Not for me is the chicken machego pane aria. I found the ratio of chicken to bread too little and the sandwich too cold.
Ambiance/Concept: if you're eating in, then grab a seat and a server will come to you with menus. Service is pretty quick. If you're just stopping by for a drink, then you can order at the counter. If you forget all of this, then someone will direct you.
I always walk here, but I think parking may be limited.
Lastly there are few outlets, so make sure your laptop is charged! The ones I've found are usually by the booths and the small tables with 2 large arm chairs near the wall along the parking spots/valet.
Happy to be supporting this local business. Can't wait until next time!
