I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the unacceptable service I received during my stay, specifically regarding the handling of my Taobao parcels.Before booking, I explicitly emailed the hotel to confirm whether parcels could be accepted. Your front desk assured me that the hotel “can accept all parcels,” and I made my reservation based on that information.However, what happened upon my arrival was the complete opposite of what was promised.When I approached the front desk—Ocean and his male colleague (curly hair with glasses)—both were unhelpful, dismissive, and provided zero meaningful guidance. Instead of assisting, Ocean suggested a paid service that would cost almost 600 RMB just to collect my parcels. This was not only unreasonable but also felt like I was being pushed into an unnecessary expense due to staff incompetence.The next morning at 9am, I spoke to Flavia, who was the only staff member who showed any professionalism. She immediately acknowledged that there may have been a misunderstanding and personally helped contact the delivery company to arrange for my parcels to be sent to the hotel. Her initiative was appreciated.Unfortunately, what followed was a complete failure in communication and service. When I returned in the evening and asked again, Ocean attended to me. His attitude was unfriendly, careless, and dismissive—exactly the same as before. He kept repeating the same superficial line: “If anything was delivered, it would be sent to your room,” yet there were no updates, no follow-up from anyone, and no effort made to actually check or communicate anything.The lack of accountability and basic customer service from the two male front desk staff was astonishingly unprofessional and created unnecessary frustration throughout my stay. Their behavior reflects extremely poorly on the hotel.I want to make it clear that Flavia is the ONLY staff member who made any effort to help. Her professionalism stands in stark contrast to her colleagues, and she deserves recognition.I expect this matter to be taken seriously, as the service I received was far below what any guest should tolerate.
