Ascott IFC Guangzhou

We have a very good stay in Ascott IFC. Its in the center location near by Huacheng square, just a few walk to the big square where you can enjoy the view of Canton tower. Nearby is big restaurant mall called Mall of the world. However if you go metro its little hard to find the location. The hotel room is very spacious for a family, the room was clean, full of ammenties, indoor swimming pool and the breakfast was nice. We stayed for 2 nights, they changed the breakfast everyday. No difficulties for the language. cause staffs can speak english. They provide very good cake for my wife birthday. The hotel service was excellent. I wanna give 9.5 ratings only due to metro distance. I would recommend this hotel.Hope to stay again in this hotel, if I come back to Guangzhou again.

We had a great stay at the Ascott in Guangzhou! It’s a very family-friendly property with spacious rooms, a delicious breakfast buffet, and genuinely kind, helpful staff. There’s a fun outdoor play area for kids and also an indoor playroom that includes a ball pit — a big hit with our little one! The pool area is also very nice, and the locker rooms feature both a dry sauna and a steam room, which made for a relaxing break during our stay. The only real downside was the bathroom design in the room — outdated and poorly laid out. It definitely needs a remodel and was the least comfortable part of the stay. Still, overall, this is a great option for families visiting Guangzhou, and we would gladly stay again.

Stayed from 1-7 March. Booked 1 bedroom and 3 bedroom apartments. We were all impressed with the location, comfort of rooms and service provided. Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast spreads were good, best of all, if you prefer to bring it to your room, they provide you plastic containers to pack. There is a mall next to hotel and 1 across. Nice Canton tower view from room. You can choose to walk the bridge behind hotel to visit Canton tower and pearl river on a nice weather. River cruise only starts from evening 6pm. 1 block away from hotel is subway which can connect to many places of interest or shopping. If you can read Chinese, use Baidu map for easy access. Subway pay with Alipay app(tap transport). It will be convenient if you have WeChat pay( use for food ordering in restaurants) and Alipay as everywhere in China uses them, including roadside stalls.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at the 2 bedroom suite in Ascott. Suite has 2 toilets which was important for our group of 4. Kitchen was well stocked with glasses, utensils as well as laundry detergent for the washing machine cum dryer which was working well. We asked and hotel promptly sent up free bags of ice every night. We also ordered food and drinks delivery from ******* and each time items were delivered right to our door step by their robots. Special thanks to customer service Ivan who warmly welcomed and checked us in on the first night, answered all our queries and helped us book a car ride to the airport on the last day. He’s smile and helpful disposition really made our stay at Ascott very pleasant and memorable.Location: Metro and APM Line is about 5-10 mins walk and only less than 3 stops to central Tianhe shopping district. That being said we took Didi most of the time cos it was cheap. If you slowly venture and walk through the linked IFC Friendship mall all the way to the other malls you will discover plenty of food choices and decent shopping. Overall I would highly recommend staying at Ascott.

First, you should know that this is not really a hotel. It’s more like renting small apartments. They are definitely luxury and contain everything you will need while staying in this area of Guangzhou.  Self parking is a little inefficient as the nearest parking garage is next-door below the mall area, but that can be convenient as well. If you want to eat there or shop we rented a two room unit which was very nice. It had a full master bath with shower and bath tub and a second bathroom, which had a shower stall, and Toilets with bidets. The breakfast is a little expensive for what it is and the layout of the breakfast area is a little bit awkward - a little difficult to find your food at first, but once you do it, you can learn your way to get your eggs or toast, there are many foreigners that go visit this hotel. My kids enjoyed the pool which the temperature of the water was perfect. I think this would be an excellent place to conduct private business meetings because the living area is nice with a comfortable couch a few chairs and a table with four chairs. We had a corner room had plenty of sunlight coming in and really enjoyed this day. Hope you do too. 

Stayed at the 3 bedrooms canton view family room for 5 nights and the view was awesome! The sales manager Grace was so helpful with all the questions I had before booking and upon arrival, the check in process was smooth. Rooms were super clean with daily cleanup services. Grace also prepared a birthday cake for my nephew. Thank you for the kind gesture. Many food and malls available within walking distance. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here who are travelling with family.

Super convenient. With a lot of food choices and near canton tower. Walk a short distance to the walkway for a nice photo of the canton tower. It is clean apartment and wirh all necessary amenities in the apartment.
