If you enjoy fish and shellfish by the seaside and smoked versions, then this is a real delight to visit. This is a classic shellfish hut but offering so much more.
Don't expect restaurant style dining, this is literally a serving hatch from a wooden hut on the beach.
From this, though, they serve the most delicious range of smoked fish and shellfish. From the usual favourites, such as smoked salmon and smoked mackerel, to things such as smoked prawns, smoked eel and crab tart, everything is a very special eat.
For me personally, if I'm being honest, I suggest that the tarts are over priced at £4.50 each, although they are a delight. I am fairly sure that they would sell many more if the price were maybe £3 each though. However, on the other hand - the smoked mackerel pâte is, I'm fairly sure, the best I have ever tasted, really!
If you do enjoy seafood at the seaside, are a foodie and like to support British businesses then visit this place. It really does deliver.
