We purchased a dining room table set for our Florida home. The price was unbeatable and the quality was nice (better than expected for the price point). We didn’t want to spend a lot due to the hurricanes. The manager was great. He approved the on-line black Friday coupon discount for our purchase. And the salesman, Agustin Pena, at the Cutler Bay store was outstanding. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. He deserves special recognition. I would definitely shop here again.

My husband and I received the assistance of Alfredo Villasmil this afternoon with our purchase of a beautiful sectional for our growing family. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience with Marinel Mendez. She was patient, knowledgeable and really took the time to understand what we wanted. She helped us find the perfect furniture pieces and never complained when we changed our mind about an area rug AFTER she had done the transaction. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. I came by a couple of weeks ago here because I was at the nearby City Furniture location. It's interesting and a bit weird that both stores connect to each other. I really liked the fact that as you enter the store you are offered complimentary coffee and cookies. The cookies are your choice of sugar cookies, chocolate chip or double chocolate. Certainly brought a smile to my face as I had been shopping for a few hours that day already and was already feeling famished. The small snack and coffee helped me continue looking around the store. I really came in only out of curiosity because I was just wondering what they had in the store. I was also looking to replace a ottoman I have in the middle of my living room. It's age was really starting to show. The saleswoman was told what I was looking for and she showed me this interesting coffee table that was able to open up. Please see the picture. I am still considering purchasing it. Great store and interesting pieces.

Disappointed with our experience here. We came here on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving because they were having their Black Friday deals. We arrived at 6:45pm and they close at 8pm. We walked around a bit and then a lady came up to us and told us they were closing in 10 minutes. We saw that it was 10 minutes to seven and asked if they didn't close at 8pm? She replied that they were closing early because they were having their holiday party and that they had a sign on the front doors. She also said that their Black Friday sale was 10% off. Of course the signs everywhere said 30% off. But how is 10% off a Black Friday deal?!? Ten percent!!??!! So, obviously we weren't going to buy a new living room set in 10 minutes. So we left and went next door to Rooms To Go and spent our $4500 there. So, I hope your party was worth losing a $4500 sale. I give two stars because I'm sure the furniture is nice. But I'll never know.

It's honestly no surprise this store has a 2.6-star rating -- if anything, that feels generous after our experience. We placed our order on May 10th. We were told one item was on backorder with an ETA in 6 weeks (mid-to-late June). No big deal -- our new home wouldn't be ready until late September/early October anyway. And then the circus began: July 15th: I follow up (because no one bothers to communicate) and am told ETA is now August. August 8th: I follow up AGAIN. Now it's magically moved to 9/1-9/11. I follow up AGAIN, and voilà -- now it's now been pushed back to mid-October and the item is now a clearance item that they cannot get! Oh, and surprise! Another item for another bedroom is also backordered until mid-October. But wait, it gets better. The manager calls me, says he's going to "look into it" and get back to me. Shockingly (or maybe not at this point), I never hear from him again. The next day, instead of a call back, I get an email saying my order was canceled -- because apparently he "wasn't getting a response" from me. So, after waiting FOUR MONTHS for furniture for THREE bedrooms and a living room, I'm now starting from scratch -- with 12 days until we move into our home out of state. If you're looking for a master class in poor communication, broken promises, and customer service that vanishes into thin air, congratulations -- you've found the right store. As my order was canceled while working with the manager on a work around, and I've made 3 payments for furniture that I never received or could receive, I would also like a refund for the interest paid - a total of $302.66.

Purchased an entire home worth of furniture including but not limited to a bedframe, bedside tables, a dresser, a coffee table, a power reclining sofa, and power recliner sectional loveseat. In less than 6 months both the couches were broken. The recliner is uneven and the arm has fallen off one of the couches. The bedframe also broke within a few months, giving no support under the mattress. We have a warranty so reached out to the store to inquire on repairs and replacements. It has been over a year of calling and asking for help. They have sent one person to look at the furniture and there was no follow up. After continuous calls they admitted they forgot to order repair parts. We are still waiting for anyone to follow up with us. After spending $10,000 at this business we expect a higher level of service and respect.

prices are wrong alllllllll the time. all everyone wants to ever do here is scam you. this is the only city furniture/ashley with no refreshments in Florida and the floor set is always messy. they take no pride in presentation the women here never greet nor help leaving you to only deal with men that seem in a rush and disorganized

Horrible experience at this store. They basically won't give me a refund for items that were purchased and arrived damaged. They were going to replace the damaged items but the date of delivery they cancelled the delivery because they don't have the items needed to replace the damaged ones and they wouldn't refund my money. They want me to wait another 2 weeks and hopefully they will have the items in stock.

I got went on the Ashley site to order counter stools and was told that I couldn't them because even though the store I bought them was Ashley's. That technically there's two different Ashley's furniture store, Ashely's and Ashley's City Furniture. I had to purchase another style or lose my store credit that I paid for. When I got the chairs they were obviously used chairs with scuffs. Ashley's was once a reliable furniture store and that is no longer the case.

UPDATE : we are now in October and I still have not received the furniture I purchased in June nor will anyone answer my text or calls. These polite apologetic messages about emailing them are strictly to make them appear as if this is abnormal. Once on the phone with them they basically tell you too bad and offer you fifty dollars to go away. Which I refused to accept. I would at this point like a refund. ORIGINAL post I purchased a couch and love seat from this store In June. My sales rep was a city furniture sales rep but the stores are connected. I was told delivery would be mid to late July. I received the love seat in August no couch arrived. After having to call I was told the couch was malfunctioning and a new one would arrive in September. I am now being told that I am number three on the list and it will be November. How did I go from your couch had a malfunction to number three on a list. The sales rep gave me their cell phone number and that is the only person that tries to help/stall me, to no avail. In the mean time my living room is a hodgepodge of furniture and the store is continuing to sell furniture they have no access to. I believe the sales reps are commission based and know if they tell you delivery is six months to a year out they would lose customers. In the mean time Ashley Furniture took my payment in full and has not provided me with the furniture in full. I can not recommend anyone going through this. Save yourself the aggravation. Go to another store And hope they are honest about delivery dates. The store phone numbers are designed to give you a run around and Ring forever with no one answering them.

Sometimes it's all about asking the right questions, listening and taking the extra step(s) and working with this duo exceeded our expectations. Product knowledge, resourceful, attentive, invested, courteous, confident, professional and sympathetic are just a few words to describe Arvin and Oscar! Worst experience ever it's been more than a year since I purchased my sectional and 4 weeks after I bought it the springs broke I have been trying to get it fix off course I also bought the extended warranty but it's been imposible I have call several time send several emails and spoke with several managers in my home store but nobody it's helping at all the only thing is that I get calls from a warranty agent saying that they will send someone to fix it but they never come and when they call me again I tell them that is not the first time I spoke with someone and their response is that they don't have any records of my previous calls or emails worst company ever they charge you for an extended warranty but they will never make it effective

Purchased a trinell bedroom set for boys from salesman joel. Was called at 8 am and was told the delivery would arrive from 11 am to 3pm. Didn't receive a call until 3:45 to let me know they were running late. When the delivery men arrived, they told me that they could not assemble the bed because it was incomplete. I called joel and let him know. He explained that he made a mistake and forget to invoice part of the bed. They were unwilling to waive fee for the missing part. Asked them to take it away. I had planned to buy a dining set there. My business will go elsewhere. I do not recommend doing business with this franchise, if they are unwilling to help when they make a mistake, how will the rest of the customer support be handled when there is a problem in the future?

My rating would have been higher if I didn't have such a terrible experience with their delivery service. When buying the furniture I was told that the delivery window would be 8am-6pm when I called to complain about the tardiness of my delivery I was told it was actually 9am-7pm. The delivery driver called today to tell me he would be arriving between 2pm-5pm. It's 8:21 pm as I write this and he is just arriving at my complex. The furniture buying experience was quite easy and relaxed but the delivery service completely ruined any chance of me buying from Ashley in the near future. As it turns out I was delivery number 13 of 14 scheduled for the day. The fact that a company who ships out of Broward would schedule 14 deliveries in a 10 hour window is absurd. They don't allow themselves any room for error. They just want your money and it doesn't matter to them that you have to miss a day of work to wait around for them. When buying from Ashley, remember their delivery estimations are like that of a cable company.

It currently provides a child with a free twin mattress set alongside a bed to any local family in our community in need under the age of 16.

One of the WORSE experiences I have had in a LOOOOONG time. Spend almost $5k for a mattress (which i actually love) and the Ashely Furniture adjustable base (which i hate). The day it was delivered and I slept on it was when I realized it was terrible quality due to the noises the base makes everytime you would move. After MANY hours of phone complaining and having techs come out and time wasted, it was finally replaced for another Ashley base that makes even MORE noise than the first one. So back to the phone and countless hours of back and forth. Basically, they told me today that I just have to keep going thru this vicious cycle of having techs come out and fix/repair before giving me the option of replacing it with Ashley base #3. Nightmare- and not to mention $5k in. I will NEVER EVER buy from here again. They told me protocol is what they go by, not whats best for the client. So... I'm still with a base that makes noise every time we move around, and the best part is that we paid THOUSANDS for it and it is what it is... thank you Ashley- I will make sure to let everyone know. For the record- Happy clients profit you a lot more than protocols. Your company mission statement is far from what I have experienced- not to mention that I have spent OVER $20k at your stores... Pls spread the word.

ashley home store is the worst! i ordered a living room set in may and was told it was backordered and wouldn't be delivered until july. last night i received the confirmaton text that my order would be delivered today. this morning, in preparation for the delivery, i removed my old living room furniture from the house and placed it in the driveway to clear space for the deliverymen. the delivery truck arrived with only a single ottoman, not the chaise, and not the sofa. i called customer service and was told that those 2 pieces will be delivered august 20th. meanwhile it has rained all day and so my existing furniture that i had taken outside is trashed and not salvagable. the 2 customer service reps i spoke to basically told me that i'm out of luck and they will not compensate me in any way. so i am stuck with a single ottoman and no where for my family to sit for 4 weeks during this pandemic. this is a despicable way to treat a customer. never again will i shop at this awful place.

(5 days later) It's a shame all the positive efforts of the sale are completely erased by a terrible delivery and defective products along with terrible customer service "after the sale" Ashley was very quick arranging the delivery (only two days) and the salesman was very efficient and polite. Very Pleasant experience. That's where it ended. The delivery was to be on a Saturday with 1 hour window. We waited at home from 8am until after 4pm. They called five minutes before showing up at 4:35pm. The driver barely spoke english and was extremely rude and abrupt. Kept repeating "we do not allow opening or checking the box" (even though the box had obvious damage). Acted like a jerk and just left cursing. And of course, upon opening the box, the furniture had damage. Called customer service and was presented with a process involving taking pictures and emailing them, arguing about it being repaired or replaced and finally being told it would take over a week to deliver a replacement.....and having to wait around again for another wasted day for delivery. I am really ready to chuck it and return all the items and have my credit card refunded. They took a good easy sale and ruined it. I won't trust them again anytime soon. Of course, still waiting for response from Ashley customer service and a specific re-delivery date. I would sooner prefer to buy at a yard sale where I could at least SEE the item before accepting it.

I recently purchased something from Ashley the salesman was nice but the couch we purchased is not the same couch that we had in the store when my delivery came I was not happy with the purchase I've called several times they refer me to the warranty department not happy and want to return the couch but they say that the warranty department has to come out first is there anyway of getting a new couch not happy with the customer service would like to return the couch I have not had it for 30 days. I've also paid a lot of money for this furniture as well. I also called the day of delivery as well.

We entered the showroom in late June to purchase a square coffee table they had advertised in their July flyer. The manager told us it wasn't available in the showroom, so we ordered it, placing a deposit. I wasn't happy we couldn't buy it same day, but was willing to wait. Four weeks later it still hadn't arrived. Eight weeks later, we were told they sold the one we ordered to someone else, and the next arrival date would be September. Really? You sold the one we ordered to someone else after making us wait two months? We ended up canceling for a refund. Terrible customer service! Never going in here again, and worst of all, I still don't have the table I wanted.

I never write reviews, but I feel that I need to share my experience to ensure that no one else goes through this! First off, I chose to come back a to Ashley Furniture - Cutler Bay because of the great experience I received 3 years ago. I went to the store specifically looking for a bookshelf. Once I found exactly the bookshelf I wanted, I asked for someone to assist me. An employee indicated the GERMAN ORTEGA would take care of me. At first, German happily came to assist me until he realized that all I wanted was a bookshelf and that I specifically wanted the display. He started to give me attitude and spent 15 minutes of our interaction basically trying to convince me not to buy this bookshelf. Then, when I reassured him that I still wanted to purchase the product, he went to another colleague to get the price reduced to the display cost. As he is walking to his colleague, he ROLLED his eyes and NODDED and let his colleague know that he ended up with a customer only buying a bookshelf. I understand that these individuals work with commission, but customers should not feel belittled and uncomfortable during a purchase. We are currently in a middle of a PANDEMIC and people have lost their jobs and are financially struggling. If a customer wants to buy the display product because it is cheaper and it is available for purchase, then the customer should not be treated so HARSHLY because it is not ideal for the employee trying to receive commission. If that is the case, then please stop selling the displays. Customers should not feel degraded. When I went to pick up the product on the day/time that we agreed on, he continued to give me attitude. He was upset at the time I got there even though that was the time that we agreed upon. Overall, my whole experience was horrible. I am not planning to make any further purchases at this location.

Poorest customer service ever; from bottom to top this is a failed organization. Spent $5k there. What looked great on the showroom floor came damaged. After several attempts to fix we are still missing pieces and have damaged furniture. Amazing thing is that no one cares and they feel it is okay to ship defective product. Further, we can't return it. Avoid this place at all cost. Go to IKEA, better customer service and better product.

Ashley Furniture should be avoided. There are many reasons: They will not give you any prices over the phone as they are all franchises. Their website states that furniture is white that is really off-white, beige, "vintage" white; you get the idea. After driving down to the one store that supposedly has a white bed an hour away and seeing it is not white the answer by the store manager is, "Oh, yes, they always do that." Great, I can see the misrepresentation really bothers you and the inconvenience it causes your customers -- you could care less. Anyway, needed a white bed and nightstand and found one I didn't like as much, but took it anyway as it would work. The nightstand came damaged. I tell Mr. Macho Driver who couldn't take his shades off while putting the bed together that the nightstand has a large scratch. The empathy was palpable. "I will send someone out to fix it." Gee, just maybe, call me crazy, I don't want a repaired nightstand when I purchased a new one. Does the guy ask what I would like? No, because he wants to not have to take it back to the truck. There are plenty of furniture places. I would not deal with Ashley Furniture again. The only reason I did make the purchase was because a lovely young lady took care of me who seemed almost embarrassed by the misrepresentations on the website. She was only interning there while attending college. Good thing for her.

I love this Ashley Furniture store. The moment we walked in we were greeted by a warm welcoming sales associate. Our sales associates name was Anthony. Anthony asked us what we were looking for and started showing us exactly what we wanted. Anthony wasn't pushy and asked all the right questions .The whole process of picking furniture was smooth and Anthony gave us space to talk things through. We decided to purchase the furniture and Anthony made the purchase painless. Anthony's manager Luciano also assisted with the closing of the purchase. Luciano was a fantastic manager and knew his information. Anthony and Luciano were the politest sales men I've ever met. We had a wonderful experience and can't wait to return to purchase more. Clean store, big store with lots of merchandise , and friendly customer service.

We first entered the store and he greeted us, explained important details we needed to know and left us to search for the perfect couch. Guillermo did not pressure us at all. Hard working, honest people stay away from Ashley Furniture. The sales associates are wonderful and helpful but I have had three bad experiences with the goods that are delivered. It was my fault for giving Ashley furniture the benefit of the doubt. Save your money and most importantly your time! Ordered furniture three times with terrible experiences and turn around results. I will be providing photos on my social media accounts of the timeline of purchases and how the services have not improved. Again, Im kicking myself for giving this company my hard earned money. Purchased a metallic glass table and it was assembled terribly, purchased a glass/metallic dining table and it was dented. Stay Away!

I've had the worst experience with the customer service in the warranty department. They are very rude and unhelpful. They sent out a company to fix a problem I have on my sofa from a few months after purchasing. The same guy attempted to fix the manufacture defect multiple times and failed to do so. The last time he tried he made holes in the leather where he worked on the furniture. City furniture is somehow refusing responsibility even though I have photo proof, a text message from the guy who fixed it accepting responsibility, and pictures of the guy fixing it in the area of the damage. Not only if the furniture still not fixed, the upholstery is now torn as well. I've tried calling them countless times and they keep saying they will look into it and call me back and never do. I've also sent them so many emails including the images of the text message from the guy and all the photos. And nothing. All they keep offering me is a discount to buy another sofa. Which btw I can't just replace the sofa with another because it's been discontinued. So they want me to buy another furniture set sofa, loveseat, and recliner. I am so frustrated I'm contemplating filing a claim under their liability insurance since this is something they should be held responsible for. I'm not sure how I will proceed at this point, but it would be unfair business practice for nothing to be done to remedy this situation. I have a bedroom set I purchased from them to be delivered in November, and I'm having serious doubts on whether I should cancel my purchase because I DO NOT want to deal with this ever again. This issue is for Ashley furniture not City Furniture but because they keep telling me to send everything to claims @ city furniture I'm adding this review here

Don't buy from Ashley , had the worst experience ever. they sold me a defective sofa sleeper and could not deliver on time. I had to pick it up myself and then for the sofa to have a broken frame. terrible customer service and don't back up there merchanize. they wanted to repair it . no way!! after I looked what material the frame was out of, it was compressed wood. what a joke paid over $880.00, for garbage. will never buy anything from City Furniture or Ashley ever again.

This furniture is the worst! They have the worst customer service and the absolute worst business. We bought furniture for a move to another state and after we scheduled delivery they changed it to a date convenient FOR THEM! We didn't even have our apartment yet and they extremely difficult when we had to get them to change the delivery for a date we would actually be moved in. ON another note, they refused to change the order since the furniture would not fit our living room, even when the order was placed months in advance. This has been a nightmare of a purchase and to top it off they already charged us even WITHOUT the furniture delivered. We are now 5,000 in the hole, no furniture, and still waiting for it to be delivered to a room that it won't even fit in. I can't believe these people are still in business. They actually hung up on us when we tried to resolve this with the manager. Calling HELP ME HOWARD and the BBB. Thanks for nothing Ashely HomeStore.

I received a damaged dining table, which I filed a claim for. The Quality Control department said I needed to get a refund from the store as the table is now discontinued. I have called the store multiple times and not received any word from the manager or general manager about my situation. I still have the damaged piece of furniture, which I already paid for, just sitting in my house now collecting dust. All I want is for my money to reimbursed and the table to be picked up. I have submitted a complaint with Ashley Corp. HQ. This is insane....just refund me my money and p/u the table! Don't shop here!

If I could give this place 0, I would. THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Do not come here unless you want your furniture 3 months later. I couldn't get in touch with my sales representative. When I finally did, he told me he'd call me back and he never did. I finally spoke with a "customer service manager" which didn't help my situation. I asked them to cover a $100 cost that the delivery is adding on to put the furniture in an elevator instead of leaving on the front door for my inconvenience and they refused. No one here takes responsibility for anything. It is the customers fault. I would stay far far away.

I really like this new Ashley Furniture Home store on US1 in Cutler Bay but it already has 1 star why Ashley is a great place to get furniture and the bad reviews are all about not answering the freaking phone but if they don't answer then go to the store like I did.I went to Ashley to get a new bed for my son and the staff was helpful and friendly I just want the one star removed

So disappointed! Have been treated like complete crap. They have the absolute worst customer service ever. They sold me a mattress cover that was supposed to cover us if we were unhappy with our new mattress. Needless to say the Ashley furniture mattress we bought is harder than a brick and is nothing like the one I sampled on the floor with my husband. So I have to drive 3 hours from the keys to go and return the mattress bc it is unbearable to sleep on and they now are charging me $100 dollars to change it plus deliver, and the mattress has to be more money then the one I bought which only gave me 2 choices to choose from without spending 1000+ My sales person never once told me this, if that was the case of never would have bought a cover for $80 dollars! I spent almost $8000 dollars with this company and they don't give two craps about their customers. They took my money and now are basically like screw you.

I cannot emphasize how much I regret doing business with this store (Cutler Bay location). After driving down from Miramar, Broward to view their selection I asked for Oscar Rodriguez because he previously helped my sister. He was already working with a couple so I had to wait a few minutes for him, once he actually came over he seemed to be a nice worker willing to help. He showed me a few options and explained he needed to check in with the couple he was helping before and that he would give me space to decide which items I liked best. Giving me space turned into completely disregarding my presence. I waited about 20- 30 minutes then I decided to go look at City Furniture (the two stores are connected). I had enough time to tour the whole City Furniture and enough time to be indecisive about a few items there, mind you my six month son was with me. After touring the store, I went back to Ashley Furniture to view the set I decided on. I saw Oscar still sitting on the couch with the couple talking as if they were at a family reunion. I decided to walk by and look at a set so he could see me and maybe remember someone was waiting on him. That did not work, he looked at me but did not acknowledge me at all. At this point I was feed up, I was waiting over an hour for a sales man, it was getting close to 5pm and we all know Miami's traffic, I was there with a baby who was being good but would soon turn restless and it was about to storm. I went to the front and asked the young lady sitting at the desk to help me (Alison), she was nice, my experience was much better after working her. Her gracefulness definitely helped calm me down and she did a great job keeping my son entertained. She is the ONLY reason I am giving this place two stars. Oscar was a horrible, rude and an inattentive salesman, I was absolutely disgusted by his behavior. Another reason I would not recommend this location is because when our furniture was delivered they told us it would be between 9am and 3pm. We'll that turned into a new estimated arrival time of about 5pm.. they ended up coming at 9pm!!!!! A business delivering at 9pm ??? They tried to say it was a phone problem, good excuse, but no they need to take responsibility of their unprofessional irresponsible actions. Definitely avoid this place if you can.

Needless to say but this is the first and last time that i will be purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture. I has my delivery for Saturday where i was supposed to receive the bed,dresser,couch,coffee table and dining room set. To start off the dining room table had the wrong chair (i picked different ones) the coffee table did not arrive!, the bedroom dresser was broken on the bottom! not only that but when i pointed it out to the delivery guys his exact words to me were "It don't Affect you none" i never asked for his opinion in the first place. so we rescheduled the delivery of the coffee table and the dresses (i decided to keep the chairs) and the same dresser with the broken bottom was sent out to me again!!! simply amazing. i spent about $4500 that day to get everything i needed for my new house and was actually going back to get some more furniture that i needed. I can tell you guys this with all the certainty in the world those $4500 you guys got from me is the last time you will see me spending any kind of money at your stores, and if anybody asks me ill make sure to send them somewhere else.
