Not bad, not great. I've been here a few times and have never been too impressed. Food is mediocre and service is hit-or-miss. Atmosphere is cool; lots of exposed brick and duct work. Bathrooms have been consistently clean, which is high on my list of factors. They have an outdoor area open in the spring/ summer which is cool. Local brewers will hold beer tasting events, which I have not yet attended. While seemingly under staffed, anyone working front of the house seemed to share responsibilities. That's nice to see. During this visit, 9-10 beers on their list were unavailable. Food arrived quick, but my wife's order was wrong, as if the kitchen decided to add bacon to a meatless dish, and it took nearly 40 minutes to complete the check out process. Ashley's has been here for awhile now and would love to see them shine. I think that they just need to grease their gears a bit, and strive for consistency. Also, adding more events during the winter months, and maybe some additional staff would be great.
