"Comfortable yet elegant, Ashten’s prides itself on using local products while having a globally inspired menu but from a Southern perspective. Choose from an a la carte menu (the Reuben egg rolls and crispy duck are popular choices), a chef’s tasting menu or family style supper on Sundays complete with a basket of fresh baked bread and a pickle of the day." - Nikki Miller-Ka

I had the pork chop and my wife had a salad with crab cake and it was absolutely wonderful! Drinks were fantastic and service was above expectations. 10/10 recommend!!!!

My wife and I like to try new restaurants as of late. We live in Apex and drove an hour to Ashton’s and we weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent and very memorable! So much so, we plan on coming back again and getting the same thing. The steak is by far the best I’ve ever had!

Everything about Ashten’s has been an absolutely wonderful experience. The food is on point and cooked to perfection each time. The drinks are delicious and the service is unbeatable. My husband and I enjoy the cozy romantic couch in the bar. A perfect spot for two. As parents to 3 young children, we only get a date night every so often, but when we do, it will be Ashten’s every single time.

I had an outstanding experience at Ashton's that I won't soon forget. From the moment we arrived, everything was top-notch — but what truly stood out was the exceptional service we received from our waitress working in the basement bar (short hair who lives in Cameron). She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It's rare to find service so seamless and sincere. The food? Absolutely excellent. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor — clearly crafted with care and quality ingredients. Whether you're stopping in for a casual meal or looking for something special, Ashton's delivers on all fronts. The cozy atmosphere of the basement bar added a unique charm to the evening, and thanks to the staff (especially our wonderful waitress), it felt like a hidden gem we'd been lucky to stumble upon. Highly recommend Ashton's — we’ll definitely be back!

Google
The atmosphere is the perfect mix of casual and fancy. The Reuben egg rolls 10/10– The wrap was the perfect crispness. We ordered the chicken and steak. Steak was not very good at all, it was sliced and covered in sauce when it came to the table which would have been acceptable if it didn’t taste like some kind of chemical or maybe propane? Idk there was a taste to it though. The chicken dish was pretty good but also had that weird taste on the skin. Overall we’ll probably be back to try more appetizers and drinks and probably try the duck just not in a hurry to come back

Google
Best restaurant we’ve had in southern pines by FAR! Excellent farm to table food, wonderful staff, gorgeous interior, and great outdoor seating! My husband and I tried two different kinds of burgers and they were both excellent. Truffle fries had the perfect amount of flavor without being overpowering. We also tried the ostrich appetizer - neither of us had ever had ostrich before but were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed this dish. Will absolutely be back and recommending this place to everyone we know!

Me and my kids came here to celebrate Mother’s day and had dinner on Saturday night. Heard a lot of good things about it and I am always on the hunt for nice fine dining place in MC. Well. This place is my only time kind of place. On kids menu there’s an item called cup of soup and a biscuit. My daughter ordered it but the soup turned out to be some kind of strawberry cold soup with crabmeat in it. Did not expect that and the waitress didn’t even mention what their soup for the day was when we ordered it. Granted I didn’t ask but I saw other waitress introduced the special and stuff but ours didn’t. Needless to say, the soup was not a hit. We also ordered NC butcher board. It was ok. The arugula on there were old and dead. So dry and wilted it’s not fresh. My son order the burger from kids menu and my daughter also ordered drill chicken and fries. I got the duck. Well the fries tasted like it was left over and then they refried it. Fries were Super crunchy and greasy. My son complaint that the burger was greasy which I agreed as I see the grease just dripping out when he was eating it. The duck…well the duck was well done. The fried rice under it was soggy. Really not a good meal. Only give one star because I had to and because their drinks were decent. The food definitely miss the mark. Not something I would come back to.

Google
Please hold for my review to load… AMAZING! Best duck we’ve ever had… friendly staff and tablecloth but relaxed atmosphere. Lots of locals and a rotating menu of fresh entrees. If you’re worried about impressing your in law while ordering, let me relieve your stress… get the Reuben egg rolls… done. The duck was crispy yet tender and served in a decedent cheerwine sauce, DIVINE! Would come back over and over especially with the roasting menu. Approachable yet unique and high quality. Southern Pines is lucky to have such a gem!!

Yelp
I love this spot! Great vibe! Amazing music playing and the food is local and good! The best burger I've ever had the duck is the best ever and the drinks are incredible

Yelp
Won't be returning. Had what we thought was an enjoyable supper until we ordered dessert and were belatedly told that we would have to get it to go because our two hour time period for the table was about to expire. No prior warning, No visit by the waitstaff to tell us that the clock was ticking so we might want to order dessert. No offer to comp us the take-away dessert. Asked to speak to management and five minutes later a guy who may have been employed for longer than five minutes shows up to apologize and offer precisely nothing to address our concerns. Food was fine but if this is the way you treat good customers we'll find somewhere else where we feel at least a little appreciated.

Scott G.

Yelp
Overall Ashten was great. Ostrich meatball appetizer was very good; served with lots of Mediterranean accouterments. I had the fish and chips which were exactly what I was craving. My friend had the Salmon, which he said was probably the best he's ever had. Cocktails were on point, although there was a little snafu with my friend's Rob Roy, at first. I had the Speak of the Devil. That small snafu didn't diminish the experience. The owners and waitstaff were very apologetic. We'd highly recommend Ashten's.

Yelp
Lovely spot! Definitely a classy difference to the neighboring restaurants which makes this a great place to come for a special occasion. Moody lighting, beautiful decor and good service. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items but I especially enjoyed their vegetarian option for a burger.

Thomasiena D.

Yelp
Splendid! We had the salmon and burger. It was sublime! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and our waitress Porshia.

Christian P.

Yelp
Great service and excellent farm to table menu with rotating specials! Went for Valentines Day dinner in 2024.

Kristen L.

Yelp
Best place for a romantic night! Always good food and good service! I highly recommend

Evey W.

Yelp
This was really a let-down and completely unsanitary. We paid for an extremely nice/fancy dinner, but the food really wasn't as special as the price point would suggest. My husband then got food poisoning from the fish/crab cakes. To top it off, the bathroom is disgusting with curtains instead of bathroom stalls and a nasty smell.

Lacey P.

Yelp
Always a great experience. The service is always top notch and I love their special menu offerings.

chas s.

Yelp
Beautiful place. Get in section by bar, not main room. S. Pines is a great place. Grilled pork was ok. It looked great, but tasted very average. Sparse vegetables. Our 2nd visit here. Lots of other alternative places to try. Service was good and ii is a beautiful restaurant.

Brandon E.

Yelp
I was really dissapointed. I wanted to take my wife out for a classy date night. The ambience was a C+, our waitress was not very nice, and the food quality was just not very good for such a high price point. It was just meh. I dont recommend this place.

John O.

Yelp
Wow.... And holy crap!! I've been wanting to hit this place since moving back to NC. It did not disappoint. On a date, we both had the crab cake for appetizer (it's a gluten FREE crab cake!!!!!!). and she had the gluten free veggie burger sliders and I had the salmon. Both were very good. My beautiful date is gluten free and I have a tree nut allergy. The menu was very easy to navigate with these challenges - the staff is very knowledgeable on the menu so ordering was as easy as it has ever been for us. If you are a whiskey/bourbon fan - have the old fashioned. Possibly the best I've had in NC. She had a cider - a blackberry stargazer cider. She really enjoyed it. The decor in the dining room was nice - but check out the bar (sorry - "the pub"). Very cool. I would say this isn't optimal for kids - just given the space between tables and menu choices (there might be a kids menu - I didn't ask). This is more of a friends or date place. I highly recommend - even worth driving a distance for!

Kelsey L.

Yelp
This place is amazing. It has such casual class, the place makes you feel like your stepping into old southern pines. We sat on the bar side of the restaurant my personal favorite. It's so comfy and classy. Me and my fiancé went before he proposed and was so upset he forgot the ring then because the place just was perfect and intimate for us. The food was to die for delicious. I had the duck and omg best thing ever. They also have some lethal drinks. The service is always on point and I fully appreciate it. I love going here any chance I can it's the perfect intimate place for a good date night.

Nigel Z.

Yelp
Fourth visit and equally as good as the prior three. Good service, good food, good atmosphere. It is firmly in our rotation of places to eat

Jana M.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! And do get the duck! Had dinner with 2 girlfriends and my son. The dining room was lovely with a classy old world feel. The menu is thorough and tempting for all palates. I have allergies to onions and garlic- a massive pain. Chef made it simple to enjoy whatever I wanted from the menu- what a treat! The attention to detail in the flavours of sauces to compliment the proteins was outstanding- and the plating beautiful. Highly recommend- I can't wait to back and eat the duck again! Perfectly crispy skin and moist meat. So delicious!

Tina H.

Yelp
There were twelve of us and Ashtens accommodated our group brilliantly. Starting all of us with water while the drink menus were passed. The Nutcracker Sprizer (the drink special) was particularly tasty. The group also enjoyed wine, Manhattans and a local beer. For appetizers the group chose the beautiful charcuterie board x2, the sweet potato hummus and artichoke lollipops. The group loved the freshness of the artichoke lollipops even with their fried preparation. For those of us observing the keto diet the charcuterie board was delightful. For main meals there were several hamburgers ordered, as well as the pork chops, a crab cake sandwich, a chicken sandwich and some fish. It amazingly did get a little quiet after the food was delivered as everyone enjoyed their perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked meals. Most passed on dessert, but the guys at the table ordered bread pudding and creme brulee. The only complaint I heard all night was the bread pudding was hard as a brick and they sold their last creme brulee. What an amazing feast.

Yelp
I had made a reservation 3 months in advance for one of their private rooms. Despite several emails, and another confirmation the week before arriving - our room was not ready. We were asked to wait at the bar while the room was being cleared. After an hour had passed we were told that there was another party in the room. In fact the room had been used for the last three hours and the Ashten's preferred to ask us to leave rather than the previous party. At this time, most restaurants in the area are closed. My 8 guests had drive thru that evening. No comp on drinks or apps ordered at the bar, no ask to return to make up for the mistake, no remorse really. I did get an apology email the next day, but nothing more than an email. Can't recommend this place when we return to pinehurst next year. One star for poor customer service. Another star because the drinks were great.

Yelp
Met some friends for dinner at Ashten's in Southern Pines last night. Usually very good but last nights special (tomato pie w/ arugula salad) left my husband and I still hungry. The tomato pie was really a step down from Ashten's usually good chef inspired specials. And the serving size was more in tine for an appetizer. Our friend was also not impressed with the crab gazpacho. He said it was so-so and didn't notice any crab. To top it off, we sat in the pub on the sofa against the bar and I swear once we managed to get in ( tight squeeze & I weigh 125 lbs!) we sank down so far our chests were table height! Our friends sat across in chairs and towered over us. So uncomfortable. Ashten's really needs to invest in new seating. Staff needs to actually try out all the seating. Some of the chairs are pretty old feeling as well. This icing on the night was that our waitress was brand new ( second day working on her own) and while she tried she could not pronounce " arugula" and didn't seem to know the difference between sparkling water and spring water. A little more training on the menu might be good. And the wait time between receiving menus and our waitress taking our drink order was appalling. All that constructive criticism said the chocolate salted caramel cake was delicious!

Bradford D.

Yelp
So, my son and his girlfriend suggested Ashten's as a venue to celebrate a major graduation event for a dinner party of nine (seven adults and two 9-year-olds.) Accordingly, I made reservations the day before, and all nine of us showed up @ 6:45 pm and we were promptly seated downstairs in our own private 'salon'. We knick-named it the Fox Room, as it sported small foxes all around the room in various forms (statues, paintings, etc.) Very nice...and the 9-year-olds loved it. We all enjoyed some bespoke Ashten's adult beverages (e.g., "Ashten's Old Fashioned", "cupid with a crossbow," etc.) appetizers (Reuben eggrolls, soup, sliders,) and some very cool entrees...a few of which were specials. We finished off the dinner with some excellent desserts (double chocolate salted caramel cake, ice cream & cookies, etc.) and excellent service from what seemed like the entire staff of Ashten's! Since we had a party of nine, Ashten's added in a service charge of $79.50 with the total coming to a healthy $504.84 out the door. It was truly a special experience, with excellent food and libations, and a wonderful way to celebrate a graduation event with participation from seven out-of-staters (including my wife and me). Five Stars for food, ambiance, beverages, and the overall experience.

Yelp
Atmosphere is great, food is interesting but once again the service is poor at best. Sat down, waited over 10 minutes and was never spoken to by anyone. Our waitress went to a table next to urs and waited on them even though they came 10 minutes after us. When we finally told her how upset we were she just blew it off and moved on. Found a young man who took our table even though it was not his. This is a recurring theme with this restaurant. I get that finding good help is hard these days but that is the business. Figure it out or get out. i keep trying to give this place a 2nd, 3rd chance but this was it. I'm done.

Brian D.

Yelp
Consistently good food and courteous service. Very pleasant atmosphere. Recently took an out-of-town golf group. For second time we used basement dining room. The guys loved it both times. Next time they come here, we will definitely return. My wife & I also enjoy it for special occasions.

Amanda J.

Yelp
We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Ashten's while visiting my sister in Southern Pines recently. We decided on Ashten's because we were celebrating being together again after Covid kept us apart for a long time. Ashten's seemed like the perfect restaurant for a festive feast. It was the first time we had tried their five course Prix-Fixe menu. We were not disappointed. Each course was delicious. The serving sizes were perfect and the pace in which they came out was just right. They made a point of honoring my sister's vegetarian diet and served her salmon instead of the meat that my husband and I were served. The atmosphere was lovely. The drinks were divine. The service was just the right amount of attention at the right time. What more can you ask for? We cannot wait until our next visit and will definitely find something to celebrate at Ashten's!

Kristina R.

Yelp
The atmosphere is immediately cozy and relaxing, especially after nightfall. It has the quiet charm of an inn, with very low lighting and English interiors. The food was excellent, my only recommendation is to ask for something (their delicious aioli maybe) to add to the burger as it was just a little too dry for me. Also, I asked for medium rare but it came out mostly raw. I honestly believe they would've fixed the issue had I brought it up though. The artichoke and goat cheese lollipops were absolutely phenomenal, I will be thinking about them well after I've left the area.

Mary Jo S.

Yelp
A favorite restaurant. This is where we bring out of town guests. Best in town. Creative cuisine, excellent service.

Barrie M.

Yelp
We ate there with a large group so we had a really nice private room. We ate family style but ordered meat/fish individually. Plenty of food and it was delicious. There was even enough for someone to take home a doggie bag. Dont miss trying this very nice restaurant. You wont be sorry!

cynthia s.

Yelp
I had a gift cards someone gave me..,saving for a special occasion. Decided to take friends for a drink to celebrate their efforts for a local fund raiser. We decided to go to the pub and will never go back again. I have been several times and the attitude is not what I expect in Southern Pines. I made reservations early to sit somewhere special.. we were not greeted kindly since entered wrong door and then given a very uncomfortable table that we had not requested ( by the way no one came in for a hour and half) .. told that they were not able to change.., ok . We had our drinks.. no snacks or small plates suggested but did get to hear about dinner specials. This experience made us feel uncomfortable and felt bad for my guests

Mark A.

Yelp
Ashten's is still fantastic. Having been some time between visits, I was happy to make a return trip for a great meal. I would have to normally go to Raleigh to find a restaurant of this quality, so Southern Pines is lucky to have this an a few other local restaurants to pick from. Though small, the menu is diverse enough to match anyones tastes, and they have a few specials to go with. I chose the filet special and could not have been happier. Pros to the visit were the friendliness of the staff, the locally sourced items, the biscuits (who doesn't love mini biscuits), and meal itself. One of the most tender filets I have had in some time and cooked perfectly. The desert was a big warm chocolate chip cookie with fresh creme; enough said. If I had any con it would be that the interior shows some wear from the volume of business they do. I imagine it will need a refresh somewhere down the road, but it did not detract from the meal.

Tonja T.

Yelp
My bourbon drink was good. However, the fish & gritd was so salty that I was unable to enjoy it. I will give them credit for having superb atmosphere and service. Therefore, I plan to give them another try.

Alexis G.

Yelp
Ashten's will remain a top restaurant for me. Their changing menu is always delicious and their intimate setting always pleases. Great selection of wines and cocktails. They are on the more expensive side, but so worth it.

Melissa G.

Yelp
I would suggest making reservations before dining here. We didn't have one and we were able to get a table in their downstairs area, but I think upstairs would have been quieter and a nicer experience. We started with Ashten's Salad which was good, not great. There was a plastic piece in my husband's salad, which the server was very apologetic about and immediately went upstairs to let the kitchen know; it came off the plastic container the greens come in. What should have also happened was to take his salad away and brought him a new plate but that didn't happen. Otherwise, the server was great. We had the Crispy Artichoke Lollipops which is a clever name and a good dish. There are only 3 so don't plan on sharing with more than 3 people. As our entree, we split the NY strip served with roasted broccoli and cauliflower; they spit it across two plates which I always appreciate. That steak was one of the very best steaks I've had. It was cooked to perfection and had a pad of butter melting on top! It was excellent. We also ordered a side of mac and cheese, which is a favorite of mine so I'm super picky about it, and it was also delicious. This place was recommended to us by a few locals, and they were right - it was wonderful!

Jack Y.

Yelp
We went tonight for our 42 anniversary and they made it special Our server Jonah was great made it feel special Everything was spot on

John R.

Yelp
This was my $18 Cheese Board from Ashten's á la Uber Eats. Highly disappointed. We have dined here previously and had a good experience, however this leaves a lot to be desired.

Julian H.

Yelp
I went need to say I love the ambience but I was really disappointed in the food and wine selection. Then we try ordering wine bottle but most of then out of stock then the staff didn't know, what was quite annoying! Then of course they charges us a higher price for the wine bottle. For the entree I tried to order oysters, also out of stock... I feel really annoyed by the staff coming every single time to tell us " we are out of it "!. We waited long time to get our entrees as well. For that price range the owner should school & teach the staff better!

Jean C.

Yelp
I am surprised and saddened that the owner decided to make a nasty political statement. Although I have heard about her disdain towards conservatives, a business owner should know better. Only been there once and wasn't impressed. Definitely will not return.

Shelley J.

Yelp
We had an amazing meal here. The service was WONDERFUL!! Our waitress made special accommodations for the two year old, refilling custom, made to order, small, manageable portions; providing appropriate utensils; and keeping her supplied with juice and an etch-a-sketch. Although the restaurant does not appear on the surface to be appropriate for small kids, they are VERY kid friendly. The portobello fries were incredible. We ordered additional servings. The artichoke lollipops were yummy. The lemon aioli that came with them also went great with the portobello fries. Surprisingly, both the vegan items and the meat items were expertly prepared. We had the soup of the day which was a ginger infused maitake mushroom consume. It was topped with slices of fresh shishito peppers. The maitake bolognese was yummy and complimented by grilled toast points that were delicious all on their own. The crispy duck was dreamy. The duck was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and the fat under the skin cooked off. The spiked demi-glaze was a perfect compliment. The surprise was the duck egg vegetable fried rice... what a delicious side item! Many of the ingredients were locally sourced and everything tasted very fresh. For dessert we had the honey pear lavender panna cotta - that was not for me - and the cheddar apple hand pie. The pears in the panna cotta were uniform, al dente and yummy. However, the lavender in the tuile cookie was not a good pairing to me. A ginger tuile or even a lemon ginger would have offset the custard better. The rosemary garnish did not add anything to the dish. I'm generally not in favour of items on a plate that do not contribute to the flavour. But the hand pie..... oh so... good!!! The apples inside were firm, fresh and perfectly uniform so each piece of apple was al dente and deliciously flavoured. The cheddar was baked into the crispy crust which appeared to be fried empanada style then tossed in sugar. Nom nom nom. The pie was served with a small scoop of delicious homemade vanilla ice cream and a savory carmel sauce. All in all, a terrific meal.

Kristy B.

Yelp
This was an incredible meal and the pub had an awesome atmosphere. They are open for seating inside and outside, we opted to sit in three sofa section. Very comfortable! The food was just incredible and the service was great. They are a shining star during this crappy covid situation

Cynthia B.

Yelp
I love Ashten's philosophy of using local ingredients whenever possible. The effectiveness of the partnership between owner Ashley Van Camp, Chef Matthew Hannon, their talented team, and the amazing area farmers was on full display with last night's menu. The five-course prix-fixe dinner started with the rich flavor of smoked North Carolina mountain trout rillettes, accompanied by wonderful house pickles and honey wheat crackers. Wild mushroom agnolotti with pesto cream and Lady Edison pancetta (sourced exclusively from NC natural hog growers!) was the spectacular second course. My husband and I agreed that we needed to pace ourselves if we hoped to last until the much-anticipated "Puddin' Course." We then proceeded to fully enjoy the next two courses -- seared sea scallops with a pumpkin sauce that nicely balanced the heat of the turnip slaw, followed by braised Brasstown beef short ribs with Yukon gold purée and collard greens. The sweet and tangy greens complemented the main entree perfectly! Brasstown beef is just the best, and I was thrilled to see it featured as the fourth course. And last, but certainly not least, was the splendid end to an impeccable meal: carrot cake garnished with candied carrots and mini meringue cookies! Thank you, Ashten's, for the wonderful evening of great food, drinks, and service. Save us a table for next week. We will definitely be back!

Miranda Z.

Yelp
My dining partner and I came here to celebrate our 3 year dating anniversary. We both loved the pre fixe 5 course meal. We enjoyed the selections being made by the chef and were able to concentrate on our time together without spending time staring at the menu. Definitely a cut above your usual nice dinner. We really liked that the vast majority of menu items were locally sourced. The beef carpaccio was fantastic each item on the plate was packed with flavor that all played well as a complete dish. Fantastic. Overall we thought it was pricey, but worth it!

Jim H.

Yelp
Tasty tasting meal. Opened with soft shell crab app and followed with reubem Eggrolls. Closed with double chocolate salted caramel cake. Strong meal at the bar. Great service on an Easter Sunday. I've visited here twice, excellent stop in Village of Pinehurst.

Bernadet S.

Yelp
This was place a nice spot to enjoy a quiet meal. We made reservations for the dining room but the pub side seemed pretty full as well. The food was great, we were there on a Sunday and they serve "family style" meals which ended up being a great way to have a nice meal and not break the bank. We had drinks, appetizer, full meal and dessert and coffee and the total was still under $100 for 2! Not bad for a date night!!

Julie A.

Yelp
Good food and great service! Nice cozy atmosphere! Does require reservations and advance planning.

Andres S.

Yelp
Totally surprised by this place. There is not much to see or do in Pinehurst but this restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. The restaurant actually has two sections; dinning and pub. The pub has more of an appetizer kinda menu while the dinning area offer a full courses menu with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. If you like cheese, their charcuterie appetizer is a must. Their goat cheese is incredible and it's made by a local dairy with herbs and spices from their own backyard. Something that I love as well was their excellent dressings and even their honey. Another must have are their artichoke lollipops and portabella mushrooms. #omg! Honestly, by the time the food arrived, we were kinda full. However, it was so good we couldn't give it a pass. My friend had their veggie burger, salad and I had their pork shank. The pork shank was similar to an ossobuco and it was cooked for several hours; the meat was literary super soft and falling off the bone. I can't tell you how good their desert is because our bellies were At the breaking point, but if it is as good as the rest of their menu, save some space for it if you decided to dine here. Totally recommended it !

Asya M.

Yelp
Disappointing. I don't understand why this place has good reviews. the food came out cold. It was bland and dry. No flavor. The bread was good though

Dan H.

Yelp
Classy atmosphere, delicious and well presented food, and helpful service. We enjoyed portobello fries, tacos pastor, and salad with grilled salmon. The food was very tasty and pleasing in aroma and to the eyes. Portions were about right. With an empty dining room, I'm not sure why the next guests were seated right next to our intimate table. We did enjoy the meal and look forward to another visit.

Bruce F.

Yelp
Ok so we stopped in the first night they opened back up to in doors setting. We had the New York strip and potatoes. It was cooked to perfection and the flavor was second to none. The service was excellent and our server made us feel welcome. Love the way the place was decorated , laid back. We ate all and had room for a slice of red velvet cake with cheese cake icing. Yummmm

Bobby S.

Yelp
Samantha helped us with the specials, and looks like she understood our preferences. Food was very flavorful and the service was awesome. Loved the interiors too. Something different and refreshing.

Jason D.

Yelp
Had an amazing New Years Eve dinner with the family and we were treated to one of the best meals and classiest atmospheres in the Sandhills. The menu was extensive enough to satisfy both vegans and meat lovers but was small enough to represent the care put into each meal. When we mentioned that our oldest was celebrating her 21st birthday that day, they individualized her dessert with "Happy Birthday" in chocolate script on her dessert plate. What a fantastic place to have an A+ meal.

Colleen K.

Yelp
Just had the most amazing meal at Ashtens last night. We were in the more formal dining room with the prix fixe menu. Every single course was to die for. Beautifully prepared and presented. From the homemade biscuits and pickles, dumplings, died green tomatoes, peach cobbler etc. the staff was incredible and it was a perfect night. I'm from NYC and would be hard pressed to find a meal this great. Thank you Ashley and team!

Brad E.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about my experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was incredibly fresh and inspired. The cocktails were on point. I will definitely be back any time I'm in the area.

Yelp
The food was excellent. They focus a lot on farm to table and I loved how the waiter knew where the ingredients were sourced from and exactly how the meal is prepared. I thought the service was too slow myself. It was good service just slow. I will Definitely return. And on Wednesday's they have exceptional deals on bottles of wine.
