I've enjoyed seeing a handful of the Asian markets in the Twin Cities. This one was new to me and my wife. My wife enjoyed this one today because she found some items she hasn't seen yet on our other store visits. If you are interested in this store and are checking the reviews, it's a definite thing you should consider. Buy some new things and check out the restaurants upstairs and enjoy your visit with the Asian culture in every Isle.

What a fun place. Egg Rolls are so good at restaurant on lower level to the left when you walk in. The custard donut from bakery on the right when you walk in so yummy. I had a peach mango green tea drink from bubble tea place upstairs so good. The robot that delivers your food order was cool to see too. I will be back so much more to see.

So many good, unique, & flavorful foods! They have many cool Asian products there too! Bring your wallet baby because you gonna want to spend!

Decent selection of various Asian ingredients. Some items can be found at mainstream stores for much cheaper. Employees are friendly and weekdays this is not super crowded. Food options are just ok, we had dim sum and some stir fry dishes. The meals were swimming in oil, and lacked flavor and heat. Would not make a special trip to eat here

Lots of restaurants, Chinese korean Vietnamese, bakery, gift-shops. Supermarket has lots of varieties of food, vegetables, seafood, snack. Parking spots are limited. I wish they expand the parking lot more.

As of May 11th, There isn't this type of "Asian Mall" in Minnesota. The grocery store does have your usual Asian ingredients. If you haven't been to an Asian supermarket, this one is definitely a good spot to find your Asian ingredients. The mall has multiple stores, restaurants, a gift shop, and an area with claw machines. The entire mall is actually quite clean and well organized too. Parking: as big as the parking lot is, it's pretty hard to find parking during peak hours. Your best bet is to find an open parking spot and just park instead of driving around for 20 minutes. Overall, a solid Asian Mall that does actually hold up to its name. Would highly recommend coming here if you are visiting Minnesota or you need Asian ingredients, snacks, drinks, and much more.

Google
A converted Gander Mountain (outdoor activities store) turned into an Asian Themed mall complete with a food court, midish sized grocery, and other themed stores. There was ample parking and the location was easy to spot off of Highway 212 but a bit tricky getting there. I'd suggest navigating to Costco to get close and and go from there. I went on a Friday afternoon during early summer on a very nice day so it was a bit slow inside which suited me fine. I'd like to go back and try some of the restaurants in the 2nd level food-court area, likely with the rest of the family.

Asia mall is a fantastic location for both dining, deserts, or grocery shopping. The price of groceries is very good and the staff is nice. The dining has many options and also other various stores not just food. Come check it out!

Yelp
I just love this place! Every time I come here, I have a great experience. What a joy it is to have something like this here in Minnesota. I love that they have a huge parking lot! Pro tip: did you know they have heated underground parking available? Drive to the right of the building and follow the signs in. There are interior elevators and stairs to take you right up without having to go outside. While there are multiple awesome businesses in here, they each deserve their own Yelp review. So my review is mainly about the space itself, and the grocery store. BUILDING You can spend a whole day in here from breakfast pastries to snacks, shopping to lunch and dinner! I am working on crossing every spot in here off my list, but so far my favorites are the mochi donuts, boba upstairs, hot pot (THE BEST IN THE CITIES), korean corn dogs, and the grocery store. I love that they have imported trinkets and goods shops, as well as beauty and self care shop! GROCERY I refuse to leave Asia Mall without stopping in the grocery store to stock up on snacks and fun goodies. They have SO many awesome imported Asian branded snacks, shelf stable items, and frozen goods that are authentic and reasonably priced. I always pick out a few drinks and foods I need! I love that they have a section where they have discounted products - I love perusing the deals and trying something new. We are so lucky to have a space like this here in EP!

Yelp
I enjoyed visiting the Asia Mall. It includes a grocery store on the main level, with several yummy restaurants upstairs! The selection within the grocery store seemed stocked well. The staff was friendly and polite. I purchased one spice packet that was well-priced. I would recommend checking it out at least once!

Yelp
More stores keep being added with every visit! I've enjoyed both restaurants on the lower level. When walking in.. the restaurant to your right is expensive but has huge portions. I had the wonton soup and question the price but wow it had 10 wontons in it and it was huge! The restaurant to the left I tried the pho and fried rice. Wouldn't get the fried rice again.. pretty bland. Pho was good. Endless selections in the grocery area. Individual ramens are awesome for trying new flavors. Super fun to explore! I haven't ventured upstairs too much yet. But I will!

Matthew H.

Yelp
This place is awesome! It's a modern version of the Hmong market/mall. Clean/modern and it has some killer places to eat in addition you can pick up foods from all over Asia! This is a fun lunch trip on the weekends. Try some fresh baked delights or some Pho or even Dim Sum!!! Enjoy!!

Yelp
We wanted to visit this mall since we heard about it. We lived in Japan, Guam and Korea over the years and we crave the food we ate there. We also loved the shopping. There are shops, a food court, bakery and grocery store. We had the best time going into every area and getting things that reminded us of our time in Asia. We spent the most time in the grocery store choosing things we were familiar with and other things we wanted to try. Prices seemed similar to other areas in the US where we have shopped. We will go back and eat in the food court which we are looking forward to. All people who were working here were friendly and ready to help.

Yelp
We've been following news outlets about this establishment when it was just in developing stages. We were super excited to go for a visit after the crowd died down. You enter into open space with a mochi donut and pho shop to your left, stairs leading upstairs to other restaurants, a bakery to your right (which was not open at the time), and the Asia Mart straight ahead. We visited the mart first as it takes up most of the space in the mall. I felt that a lot of the items were priced slightly higher than what I'm used to in the Twin Cities. Especially the kitchen items. I picked up a 30-packet instant pad Thai noodle box, banh hoi noodles, and some drinks. I was surprised they have banh hoi noodles because sometimes I can't even find them at Frogtown and especially not at our local market. We visited upstairs next. This is where a few Chinese restaurants were located along with a boba and gift shop. We didn't try anything because there are a lot of other restaurants in the Twin Cities that have better quality, quantity, and pricing. There was a Korean corndog shop upstairs, which I didn't get a chance to try but I've had my share. I felt the mall is very tourist trap-like. I left disappointed. There were empty retail spots and it was lacking vendors. It was a nice visit for the first time but I probably wouldn't venture here often or anytime in the near future.

Lauren H.

Yelp
Really fun place to visit. There's always a line for Mochi Donuts so I only buy them when the line is shorter. I also love the Korean Corn Dogs from Cruncheez upstairs. I come here for the great selection of Asian food and goods. Can't wait for the Keefer Court bakery to open... I'll probably visit much more often when they do. Service is hit or miss. I've had a wide mix of experiences while shopping and eating here. I'm not sure this is the best place to visit if you're looking for value. Many products are overpriced. I did find some seafood at the Asian Mart on sale once, but their snacks were priced higher than I expected. They also have shops that sell Asian or Asian inspired decorations. They too are priced higher than I expected, but sometimes they are hard to find in the Twin Cities so I still buy them while I'm here.

Yelp
On my first visit here, it was a gathering of the urban sketchers group. Parking was difficult but I just kept driving around until a space opened. Entering the mall, the main atrium opened to a large two story space. I loved the colorful lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The second floor is surrounded by a railing so you can check out the floor below. The eating wasn't quite how I expected it. It seemed to be a lot of sit down restaurants. I was just looking for a quick snack at a walk up window and didn't see them. I didn't eat so perhaps there is an easy way to get takeout? Perusing the grocery store was fun. I love the colors of the products in the aisles. The fish room had options for purchase that I wasn't used to seeing, such as fish heads. I've wanted to see this place for time and am glad I was finally able to visit.

Yelp
I've been super excited to visit the Asia Mall since I heard about. A lot of my friends who went when it first opened advised to maybe wait a bit because it didn't have many vendors yet. We waited and it still seemed a little underwhelming. We did walk around and skim the menus of all the restaurants and ended up just getting the mochi donuts and grabbing food from somewhere else. I didn't get the chance to browse the market much but it did look like it had a lot to offer. The mochi donut place was the only vendor who had a bit of a long line. We waited, then you order & pay on a kiosk, which is efficient but the kiosk had different products than the menu and the drink customizations are very limited. They call you up by name to pick the flavor donuts you want. Donuts are premade. I will say I've been to less busy mochi donut places that make them fresh and they are a lot better when they are warm. I got the cookies & cream, funnel cake & cake batter. They were good but again would have been better warm. The parking lot was pretty hectic from the way ppl were driving and from how busy it was.

Yelp
I WAS SO EXCITED TO FIND OUT A PLACE LIKE THIS WAS OPENING IN MINNESOTA! I really enjoy coming here. I can shop for groceries, get boba, eat a delicious meal, and go check out some beauty products all in one stop. The store part of Asia mall is pretty great in my opinion. If I can't find things I need at other asian grocery stores, I come here. They have a super big frozen selection and a really big selection of snacks and candy which is so fun! I hope the company that owns this place decides to open more things like it in the area.

Annette N.

Yelp
There has been so much media hipe leading up to me being able to visit here today with my husband and I was super excited. All I can say is "it was ok". Could be cleaner-and kept up better. We found one place in the mall we liked. Keeper Court Bakery level one right inside the front door. Numm I had a Butter cream cone. Loved it.

Brandon C.

Yelp
So much Asian food too chose from! My boyfriend is Chinese/Filipino he was so excited to eat at the Chinese restaurant that serves authentic Chinese food! The value of the food is mixed, but lot of stuff I never seen before, the service was great. I have no complaints here! Lots of selections! I had a fun experience with my boyfriend! The place was clean! Place was kinda busy! Clean restrooms is a plus thanks!

Maggie Y.

Yelp
We went here for the first time, and it was great. We wish there was one in the north suburbs as well! My boyfriend is Laotian and was able to find all the items he needed at the grocery store - next we will be bringing his mom to shop. There was plenty of items to choose from and so many items! While there, we went to grab some tea and check out the stores - we came close to closing, so we do plan to go back soon. We also ended up at Hot Pot City, and that was delish! The staff was friendly and pricing was reasonable, we just wish it was closer.

Aric G.

Yelp
Great place with a lot of product variety. I've been a regular for a number of months and have really enjoyed each trip out. Unfortunately their grocery seems to be full of expired products currently. I got home and noticed at least two items are past expiration. There were no discounts for the expired products. I don't live close by so it'd be more effort than it's worth to try to return the items. Make sure to check expiration dates before checking out because their shelves have expired items positioned in the very front of the shelves.

Maggie H.

Yelp
I can't wait to see this place fill in more! I had so much fun exploring. Hot Pot City was fun, the crane/arcade area was great (pretty pricey, both of them!) Some little shops are fun to poke around, I wish there were more. The grocery area itself was fun to wander through and there are sometimes sales which I don't usually see in other Asian supermarkets so we picked up some staples and some new fun things to try. It's a trek out to Eden Prairie for us even just from the Cities, but if they grow more I would go again to check it out. Hooray Keefer Court! We tried Bober Tea and I would try the other bubble shop next time, Bober was fine but I like to see my options! Sadly bathrooms are only on the upper floor so it's also a trek to go to the bathrooms and they're pretty small which is odd for such a big space (3 stalls).

Jingle M.

Yelp
Wow! Want a great price on Asian and other spices? We looked at a small container (2ounces) of sesame seeds for $6.50 at our usual store. No. Tried the wonderful new Asia Mall in Eden Prairie and got 14.1 ounces for $6.50!!! Great browsing in grocery section and bought some frozen pot stickers to try. Stay for a meal in one of many restaurant options. We will be back!

Stacey W.

Yelp
A small grocery store, but decent variety, clean and well maintained. The upstairs has a variety of different small shops, food stalls, restaurants and a shop with also a little arcade area. Then there is also a new bakery on the 1st floor, the Chinese bakery goods all seemed to be priced at $4.75 from bbq pork buns to egg tarts.

Patrick H.

Yelp
We like to visit for the incredible variety of produce, meats and dry goods. All Asian type ingredients. No matter what Asian influence you're looking for, they will have it, then follow up with lunch at one of the really good restaurants., and perhaps leave with a box of great baked items from the two bakeries in the mall. Weekdays are much less crowded, but even with the crowds on the weekends, the lines are not too long for the restaurants.

Markeda D.

Yelp
My second time at the Asia mall and as always the mochi dough line was long. The donuts are so soft and chewy and they have rotating flavors so I'm not surprised it is so popular. This time around we also got their stir fried boba and shopped in the Asian mart on the first floor. The boba was chewy and the drinks were flavorful definitely some of the best out here. The mart is so cool and it has a great variety! We got fresh and frozen seafood, snacks, sodas, instant hot pot and ramen, and even some seasonings and chili oil. This is somewhere that I find myself coming to more and more and I'm excited to try some of the restaurants and more grocery items!

Paige O.

Yelp
I was super excited to finally come and check this out. I heard it was cool and had a ton of food options. I think my expectations were up really high...We came here on a weekend and luckily was able to get a parking spot, but not a lot of space for cars. The grocery store or downstairs part of the mall was my favorite, it was cool to go down all the aisle and buy some cool stuff to try. We bought some fun fruit and cookie snacks. We also got some tea and used the cotton candy vending machine, both were underwhelming, I wouldn't get either again. This is really what made me go down from a 3 to 2 rating. We ended up not eating anything cause when we were there, everything seemed kind of dirty and sticky, and we were not impressed with the things we had gotten. I will try and come back for lunch one day, maybe that will change my mind about this place.

Dorothy H.

Yelp
Now that the launch crowd has died down a bit, it's pleasant finding a parking spot and a seat in one of the restaurants here! I came with some friends and we wanted to have some hot pot and Hot Pot City wasn't packed like the last time I visited! They have the AYCE option which is always nice since you can pick and choose what you want to put into your soup bases vs having a ton of random leftover ingredients. We opted for the Sichuan Spicy and Bone Broth based - really yummy options and not too spicy! The delivery robot is so cute! It makes service very easy and fun. Our waitress was so nice - she was attentive and made sure we got everything we needed. FYI it looks like they add gratuity to the check so the bill will be higher than what you see as the listed price for the meal!!

Ellen M.

Yelp
Pros: Lots of different stores and restaurants inside plus an Asian grocery store Two stories so be sure to check it all out Lots of produce options Cons: Parking can be a challenge Hard to find help in the grocery store if you need it Pro tip: Go during the week on off hours so you don't have to struggle with parking. Weekends seem to be the busiest.

Jackie C.

Yelp
So fun!! My favorite reason to go is to eat around the mall! There's 10+ restaurants - Pho, classic Asian dishes and appetizers, desserts and Boba galore! Highly recommend the dim sum/small bites from Home Taste and the Korean shaved ice from Snowbird (you can split with 2-4 people!!) Parking can be scary on the weekends haha so be prepared. I went on a Saturday around noon and it wasn't too crowded at all though! You can easily spend a few hours here. Worth the visit and I love bringing visiting guests!

Michelle O.

Yelp
I have been introducing my sister to more types of Asian food and to Asian markets around the Twin Cities and on Black Friday we decided to check out the much-talked-about Asia Mall. The first thing we noticed was ample parking which was nice. When you first walk in, the first floor is primarily a market that has a decent and fun selection of snacks, very nice frozen and meat sections, and lots of noodles, sauces and spices as well. I was, however, disappointed with their produce as it wasn't very fresh. Produce is always a tough one and I realize it's tough for the markets to keep things fresh especially at certain times a year. That is why I primarily go to small markets for the freshest produce. But they did have a decent selection of "types" of produce and at other times of year it would likely be better quality. I will say their special Seafood selection was very nice and the prices were very good! They also offered quite a nice selection of prepped Hot Pot ingredients (meats, rice cake, fish balls etc). When we first came in there was a long line of people waiting for the Mochi Donuts and Pho Mai to open. Pho Mai was full for the couple of hours we were there so that is likely a Must Try! There were a handful of restaurants upstairs that looked good but we were not in the mood for a Food Court feeling and wanted more of a sit-down so we looked at Hot Pot City which is a nice space and offers All-You-Can-Eat Hot Pot, but decided we were not hungry enough to justify All-You-Can-Eat that day. There were only a couple of shops open other than the market; one was a little store in the corner with cheap items (not as cheap as they should have been given the quality honestly), and then a store near the food area upstairs. We were both a bit disappointed in the offerings especially given the hype around this mall, but the market was worth checking out at least once and the Pho Mai and Mochi Donuts appear to be a big draw which is good. I hope they continue to get new businesses in here and continue to expand on the food offerings as well. I would love to see the Twin Cities keep bringing in new and authentic Asian food options!

Lorelei P.

Yelp
Terrible parking situation, but still worth visiting. Some of the restaurants are great, others are just ok.

Jennifer K.

Yelp
Wonderful place to go and grab groceries and have lunch at the same time! parking was easy and there were many options to eat!

Ice T.

Yelp
I had an absolute blast on my birthday here. The soup I had was one of the better ones I've ever had mochi donuts are easily. The best thing you could eat bubble tea was bomb.

Julia S.

Yelp
I like it here. I don't spend much time in Eden Prairie, but Google Maps was accurate, and it was easy to find. Despite the flurries and chilly temperatures, the place was packed! (Head to the right and down the hill instead of turning left and looking for a spot right out front.). You can smell the delicious foods on offer from the parking lot, and while I had come primarily for the grocery, I had to go upstairs to check out the restaurants. Color me impressed. I am definitely going to come back. The Korean restaurant right at the top of the stairs is legit--the smells (sesame! spice!) and the sight of the stone jjigae bowls and stainless steel rice bowls took me right back to Seoul. I am definitely coming back for some bibimbap. Note: there is also a patbingsu place. They have the traditional red bean I. Am. Stoked. There are plenty of other options, but those excited me the most. The grocery section is also amazing. With an impressive selection and good prices, you will definitely want to stop by if you're looking for your favorite hard-to-find greens, mushrooms, fruits, spices, seasonings, and condiments. I scored some green curry paste, ginger, and baby bok choy (they have several varieties), all for under ten bucks.

Yelp
I went to Asia Mall for the first time with my in-laws and their sisters, who are all non-Asian. PARKING: A lot of people on Yelp and YouTube complain about the lack of parking space. I did not have the issue when I arrived at the mall on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. I did notice the place was busier for lunch around noon. There was a line forming outside of Pho Mai/Mochi Dough. INTERIOR: It is very clean. The grocery store products are perfectly aligned. Aisle are labeled, and I didn't see any missing price tags as I did a show and tell to my in-laws a few times as we went up and down the aisle exploring. My in-laws did complain about the smell in the seafood/meat area. I did not mind since I'm used to going to other oriental stores. It was bizarre for them to see pork blood, duck head, chicken feet, etc. The various Asian language music played overhead did not bother me. Upon my arrival, I did notice the restrooms were located upstairs. There is an elevator available; otherwise, you can take the stairs. FOOD: There is bubble tea everywhere! They have food that gear towards younger visitors and sit-down places. "Pho Mai/Mochi Dough" had a long line, so my family went to "Dosirak", Korean cuisine. If you are dining at Dosirak, a meal is without soup. If you want soup, pick the combo deal. The meal came with three sides: kimchi, beansprouts, and potatoes. It also came with sticky purple rice. It was all separated on a tray. I would like to have galbi, as I saw on their website, but that wasn't an option. I also stopped by the kiosk for "Uni Uni Bubble Tea" and got the milk tea with tapioca. I wasn't sure if they offered alternative dairy options since I am lactose-intolerant but I made note of it. I was fine after consumption. My in-law's sister who came with us was frustrated using the kiosk. There were things there she did not want in the bubble tea, but there was no one to assist or help custom the order. Finally, before I left, I stopped by "Mochi Dough" to pick up a dozen mochi donuts by ordering on a kiosk. I decided to order bubble tea to bring home for my husband, but unfortunately, they ran out of strawberry and mango. (I hope he likes pineapple! It was that or pink pear were my options.) So minus one star for not having options available. The mochi donuts were still nice and warm when I arrived home in Blaine. Overall, it was a good experience. My in-laws have a good time. They seem to also enjoy their food and bubble tea. They also found some things from the grocery store that is not available way up north.

Bum B.

Yelp
Didn't go to the grand opening. Thank goodness. I would of seen my grandma and aunties from the other side. But it is a huge store. The fish market stinks like bikini bottom. Great store to shop at

Carolyn W.

Yelp
Filled to the brim with Asian goodness! The biggest reason for only 3 stars is the parking. Not sure if it was due to snow or that the day we went was during winter break but parking is a nightmare. Don't take the lower road to the right. It only takes you behind the building where there is no parking. If full, best to wait for someone to walk to their car. Now to the treasures within the "mall." You can get Pho at Pho Mai, Korean hot dogs at CrunCheese, moochi donuts at Moochi Donuts, boba at Bober Tea, Korean BBQ at Dosirak and there are two other options for hot pot and Hong Kong fare. We opted for our favorites, Pho Mai, Moochi donut, and CrunCheese which I will review separately. We love both. I imagine this is getting the Twin Cities closer to what an "H Mart" is like. The grocery shop m the main level had lots of options from frozen to staples to fresh. The kimchi we purchased was great. All of the options for eats were busy but the lines weren't horrible and it was Christmas break so once you get inside you can really satisfy many cravings. We will for sure be back. Need one of these on each corner of the metro!

YiQing G.

Yelp
We visited Asia Mall during their soft opening and we are very pleased with our visits. We arrived when they open (at noon) and left with full tummy and a full trunk full of goodies. We tired the hongkon cruise on the first level, Home Taste, and ordered the roasted duck, BBq pork, sizzling chicken, pea shoots and salt and pepper baby octopus. The food is very good. Just to know if you pay with credit card, there 3.9% service fee. We also got mochi dough and Bubba tea on the first level, as well as grocery shopping at the asian market. They have live seafood, authentic ingredients and fresh vegetables.

David P.

Yelp
Was a fun outing full of food and a little grocery shopping to boot. I will say the ambiance is quite lovely and well themed. The parking lot is crazy busy, think Black Friday for that it item at a target or Best Buy. So ether get their early or expect to take awhile to park or walk. We ate at hot pot which was good albeit the service could be improved as they forgot our drinks, we had to ask for broth, the robot was the best server they had. We asked the manager, and two servers multiple times to nods and nothing coming. For the price I expect a little better service or at least competent service. So overall I give the a 4 star for the food and 1 for the service. We also did the mochi donuts and a few boba teas. These were very good and although the line was long it went quickly and ordering on the touchscreen was seamless and very easy. Absolutely 4 out of five. Next time I will definitely try Pho Mai or the Hong Kong cuisine. The grocery store was very neat and well laid out. Now it's not as big as sun foods or dragon star so do not expect the same volume or options. The pricing was pretty spot on with our usual Asian grocery store and very polite service. Overall a very positive experience, however right now as a mall it's not really there. It's more of a food court with a grocery store at this point. Maybe with the vacant spots this will change in the future.

Yelp
My friend lives in MN and told me that this is the closest she has found to a wide variety of Asian food. She used to live in San Francisco so you can see how this could be startling now living in a suburb of Minneapolis. We went as I wanted to make a few meals while I was out here, especially since last time I was in the Mid-West I gained literally 10 pounds in 8 days. Most of that was cheese and cheese related items. This time I was determined not to feel sick and bought a bunch of vegetables, pork and sauces. Decent selection although a little strangely organized. I think it was grouped mainly by culture (maybe?). Anyway I was able to find everything I needed: fish sauce, black bean sauce, miso paste, soy sauce, rice paper, etc. The pricing was fine especially since all this stuff had to shipped here. I hope you navigate your way through the shelves and find recipes that challenge your taste buds. Enjoy!

Mikey A.

Yelp
I'm giving Asia Mall five stars in hopes that they will continue to improve their operations. I visited during their soft opening with very high hopes and excitement. I have been complaining for years that the twin cities deserve and need an H Mart type store due to the high population of Hmong people. I find myself having to go to multiple grocery stores when trying to make some of my favorite Filipino or Thai recipes. I'll start with the pros: Restaurant selections look promising! The hot pot restaurant looked delicious and was serve your own additives. I was gaping at the robots rolling around giving people menus. Too cool! There was a Korean corn dog spot, two boba tea joints, and a few more options. I'm hopeful that one of the open spots upstairs might turn into a sushi spot. Meat / Seafood area was my favorite part of the grocery offerings. They had serve your own fresh crabs at $5 a pound and all the cuts of meat you could want. Cons: the selections for fresh produce and other items was very slim. I'm hoping this was just because of the soft opening, but I worry that I'm not sure how much more they could expand the fresh produce areas to even hold much more inventory. :/ in my opinion, the fresh produce sections in an HMart type of asian grocery store is what sets it apart from other smaller asian grocery stores. My wishlist would include fresh kimchis, a larger vegetable selection, and for one of the stores upstairs to offer asian alcoholic beverages like soju, Japanese whiskeys, etc. parking was also pretty rough, I'm thankful they had someone working in the parking lot to help guide cars to open spots, If they weren't there I think I would've given up on finding parking and just left! Overall, I think the more asian grocery options the merrier! But I hope one day there will be an epic HMart like store that would provide all my asian grocery needs and more in one place! But for now, Asia mall does not meet that, but I think it might be able to one day!

Yelp
I went to Asia Mall in Eden Prairie for their soft opening this afternoon and was really impressed! They are still trying to work through a few kinks with staffing & what not but that's to be expected at soft openings! The grocery part of the store was laid out beautiful and had everything you could imagine from snacks, candy, fresh produce, frozen food AND live/fresh seafood. I walked over to check out the seafood and they have a little tank right in the middle of the room that you can use tongs and grab as much fresh live crab you want-so fascinating to watch! The dinning options are AMAZING. I first stopped at Mochi Dough & tried out 6 of their flavored donuts. This was my first time ever having a mochi donut. Mochi donuts are a fusion pastry crossing additional American donuts & Japanese Mochi. They have a slightly sweet taste but not as sweet as our traditional donuts. 10/10 recommend trying. We had lunch at Pho Mai. I had their Chicken Pho along with an appetizer plate that had shrimp spring roll, egg roll, cream cheese wantons and wings with sweet chili sauce. This was a lot of food so if you are not starving I'd recommend ordering just the Pho unless you are with a group to share the appetizer. 10/10

Yelp
My wife and I were on a Costco run in Eden Prairie and decided to stop by the new Asia Mall. It was about 10:30, so most of the restaurants were not open yet. We did look at some of the menus, and they were actually pretty expensive. The Hot Pot place looked pretty good though. It was all you can eat for about $36 on the weekend. They also had a Korean barbeque place as well that I would love to try some day. I think one of the places have a robot that can serve you as well. I would like to see that in action. The downstairs is mostly the grocery store. They have some really cool stuff in here. I have been on a canned fish kick lately, and they had a bunch of different kinds. I got two. They had a lot of people buying blue crabs at six bucks a piece. I couldn't tell if they were restaurant owners or not, but some were getting a dozen of them. It was pretty crazy, probably 100 live crabs just in a box. They also had stuff like chicken gizzards, pig ears, pig intestines, oysters, All sorts of great stuff. We got some cuttle fish balls in the frozen section and some dehydrated anchovies for pizza later on. Gotta see this place!

Yelp
Such a fun place to visit! Great options for full dining, just a snack or a grocery run. Stopped by on a Thursday evening and it wasn't too crowded. Excited for any return visits!

Yelp
This review is about the Asia Mall an an entity. I wrote a separate review about the Asia Mart, which is the grocery store that takes up the majority of the space on the first floor. My rating for the Asia Mart Grocery Store is five stars. Please look up the Asia Mart review, if specifically interested in a review of that store. So why do I rate the Mall as a 3-star, when I rated the Mart as a 5-star? The mall, as a whole, consists of four sit-down restaurants and six food-court type places. However, in the food court, I spotted only four places, and 2 of them are really the same place (Bober Tea and Mochi Dough). Some of the restaurants are only open for dinner and all of them seemed relatively expensive (entrees in the $15 to $20 range, so for me, too expensive for lunch (there were no lunch specials that I spotted). Even the food court places seemed relatively expensive (for example, $15.75 for the smallest order of fried chicken at Dosirak. Most dishes were in the $17 to $20 range. In addition, they had an insurance agency. But no stores, for example, that sold cookware, or any other Asian-related products. So for me, the grocery store was great for hard-to-get items, but the restaurants are dinner size prices, and I really don't care about an insurance agency. I enjoyed the experience, applaud the effort, and I'm glad that it was built, but I'm not sure how often I would drive to Eden Prairie to return to the Asia Mall. I do hope they are able to attract other tenants and those tenants have a direct Asian connection.

Yelp
I came with a friend on December 10, 2022, during a period which was apparently part of their "soft opening", so things might change a bit as they find their feet. I'll definitely come back here, but our Saturday-at-noon visit was bedlam. Demand for parking in their lot was exponentially more than the lot could handle. All the eateries inside had very long lines. Our visit included a meal at Hot Pot City (see separate review), a stop for some boba tea & mochi donuts, and a bit of grocery shopping. All that amounted to a four hour stay at Asia Mall. The centerpiece of Asia Mall is its large Asian foods market. It's a very large, very new one of those; they have a lot of the same types of grocery items you see at other Asian food markets. One thing to note is that there is a big seafood butchery section which does have some non-seaborne meats as well, but they clearly take pride in providing such creatures as jellyfish and live crabs, as per the needs of Asian cuisine. There are also several eateries, with more on the way. I'll probably try the pho place next time I visit, since it seeems like I could have gotten a seat there right away. There is also a Chinese diner and a second boba tea place that had some savory options... I think? It looked like there were separate menus in different places but only one counter. We opted for the boba tea place with mochi donuts. Long line, and then you order on a touchscreen. You can't just walk up and buy a mochi donut; there's a separate, non-obvious way to get those donuts. But if you buy a tea, you're allowed to buy one donut. Or you can get a dozen. That stuff was tasty, and if you read my review of Hot Pot City, you'll find the main reason why I'm eager to return to this facility. But as long as I live I will not come back here at noon on a Saturday.

Yelp
Has the great beginnings of a solid mall but still a way to go in the build. We stopped by during the holiday season and loved the concept and various offerings. There are various restaurants both sit down and take out and a main grocery section. I look forward to the grocery store being more built out! Many of the aisles had empty shelves or not a lot in stock yet. But make sure to get some mochi donuts!

Yelp
I'm so excited to have a place like this in the Twin Cities! Went to the soft opening on day 1, and explored the grocery store, which while not as big as some of the other Asian grocery stores around town, had a great selection and many items I usually have to go to Chicago for. The prices were a little higher, but not significantly so, and the newness and cleanliness made the shopping experience very pleasant. The enclosed seafood and meat area offers fish and parts of animals that are definitely not found at regular grocery stores, and looked quite fresh. I didn't get to eat at the restaurants since they either ran out of food or had extremely long lines that day. But I'm looking forward to trying the AYCE hotpot and casual Korean restaurant another day. And the others that are still in process of opening. I am, however, most excited about the Asian Hair Salon that will open up there. All they need now is a travel agency and Asian herbalist/acupuncturist, and it will be complete!

Yelp
We went to the soft opening on 11/12 - they put on Facebook that there would be a ticketing process but that wasn't put into practice (no one is there to check tickets). It wasn't too crowded when we went but still relatively packed. The grocery store is pretty slim on selections at the moment. We went to Doshirak for dinner and it's definitely very overpriced for what you get. The bulgogi + soup combo is $21.99, and the portions are pretty small. The kimchi jjigae was very salty and the bulgogi itself was very tough and the meat was dry. The banchan were also very mediocre. The restaurant is pretty understaffed and the way they process orders is inefficient - I'd say that it would be better to have a bell system where people go up to pick up their food when their number is called versus the employee going around with the tray calling out the number and trying to find the table. Maybe because it's the soft opening they're still perfecting recipes, but overall pretty disappointed with the quality of food and the organization of the mall in general. Hopefully the grand opening will be much more prepared!

Yelp
Amazing place for Asian grocery, restaurants, and businesses. Great selection of produce and frozen items along with dry goods. The seafood selection is fantastic. You don't have to be cooking Asian food to want to shop here. Lots of kitchen staples at really good price points. Parking is currently challenging on the weekends. Once the snow melts it should ease up.

Yelp
I'm so glad I got to check out Asia Mall after its grand opening. This is such a cool establishment in EP. We arrived on a Thursday evening, and parking was tight, so I think they need to get a bigger lot. The grocery store on the ground floor had a large variety of food. Unfortunately, they were out of the items I was looking for. I hope they have the items in stock the next time I visit. We picked up some sweet treats from Mochi Donut to go. I had seen their cute boxes around town, and now I knew where they came from. I am obsessed with cute packaging and loved the presentation. To take advantage of our time, we went to Home Taste for dinner because there was not a line. We had a filling dinner and had more than enough to take home. I can tell there will be more visits to check out the eating options in the building!

Yelp
Not the biggest but certainly one of the best. Plenty potential ~ room to grow. Lots of variety. Parking was easy for us!

Yelp
Not bad. Pretty large place. Lots of space for growing. We have something similar in Michigan, called 168 Asian market. I did notice that this place only attracted white Americans. Odd. Minnesota has a very large community of Asians. No support from Asian Americans? When we visited, the market shelves did not have every little item yet. A lot of overpriced items too. $9 for big size Sriracha sauce? At least our 168 has reasonable prices. Ouch. Oh, one last thing, good luck getting parking. This might be a fade, over time, the crowd might die down. Time will tell.

Yelp
Anyone who has rated this a 1 is deeply confused. So far I've been to Bober Tea, Pho Mai, Cruncheese and I think it's called Mochidonuts? I didn't take a pic of the donuts or the Thai tea latte but they were SO GOOD! Pho Mai has the best Pho ever. The lines are a little confusing by the donuts and tea, you order your drink and how many donuts you want at the kiosk and then tel them what flavor once they call your name. YES the donuts are like any other excellent donut shop and are first come, first serve and will run out. Go early and be wary of this. The market has authentic products that you won't find in a Cub foods. I love this place and can't wait to go back.
