I have nothing but good things to say about my two visits here. Great food. Prepared fresh. Tasty. Healthy. What is not to like?

Stopped by here to get a quick meal. Portions are decent and the flavors are good.

First time I stopped at this restaurant. Came for lunch. Nice menu of options. I got the current chicken and my friend got the green curry with tofu. Veggies were fresh, they had options for jasmine or brown rice, and the flavors were better than I expected . For the lunch box I thought the portions were generous. The spring rolls weren’t bad either. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu This location has outdoor seating which was great on this day .

Usually I order a signature one since it’s my first time here. I didn’t want to dine here because traffic will get heavy later on when trying to go back home. I wanted to use cash to pay for my food, but they don’t have dollar bills anymore. Kinda disappointed in that, and it goes to show that contactless payments are relevant and that we are diving in an era of technology. The food is tasty though. However, it’s quite overpriced given how small the portion sizes are. I am a fan of normal-sized meals since they contain less calories, but kinda tune the price down.

Food is gluten free and tasty. Actually went back for a second yellow curry because it really hit the spot. Service was friendly and quick. Atmosphere... well, it was nice enough outside. Inside just seemed like a space to wait, not eat.

My girlfriend can’t handle spicy food, and I made sure to tell them that and not to put chili however, she was eating it and there was a lot of chili where she couldn’t continue finishing it. In my case the food was great I called the Vietnamese hot chicken, which has been amazing. I’ve been coming here for years. The prices have gone up significantly, which is one of the reasons why I don’t come so frequently.

I was walking around the Pruneyard shopping center again and came across the Asian Box restaurant. I got the Garden Box and it was pretty good - I prefer lighter fare with fresh vegetables and authentic flavors. The vegetables were very fresh and the curry had some decent heat but nothing crazy. The service was excellent and the food came out very quickly. I sat outside and did some people watching and was not disappointed (see the video).

I was on a father/daughter date night to catch the San Jose Symphony and my daughter recommended the Asian Box for dinner before we hit up the performance. This establishment is one of her favorite places to eat. Wow! The Asian Box didn't disappoint me. My daughter had the curry chicken and I had the Vietnamese hot chicken. We sample one another's plate and both were delicious. The person who took our orders warned me that the Vietnamese hot chicken is very spicy and yes it was! Fortunately I have the genes for spicy food. I bookmarked this establishment for future visits the next time I'm in Campbell.

The quality is fantastic, but a little pricy for the portion, but they still have me coming back because the boxes are delish.

Big fan of the build your own box option. Delicious Asian salad. Steak is on point. A convenient, healthy meal option.

A go to place for my gluten free family. Always a great time and everything truly is 100% gluten free!! We've been here twice this month and had two wonderful experiences with such nice staff members.

Asian food in a box. A big box. The boxes are a good size with well portioned meals. I tried the yellow curry. It satisfied my curry craving, but wasn't quite as flavorful as I'd like. They serve a variety of Asian entrees, not just sticking to one specific type (Vietnamese, Thai, etc), but because of that, it's not going to be the same quality you'd get at a specifically Thai restaurant or Vietnamese restaurant. I did feel like the meal was clean though and I still felt great after eating it even if there was such a large portion. They have some tables outside that you can sit at if you don't want to take-out. We grabbed a spot and our food was ready very quickly. Prices are also really fair!

I wouldn't feed this to anyone i love. Not enough protein. Veggies are not fresh. All of my coworkers love it but they got it for me on my bday and then I fired them all.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Walked in yesterday and I literally got my food in 5min so it looks like they just got it out of the freezer and microwaved it. Lol

didn't like it! maybe it's bc i'm vegan but the garden box (tofu with yellow curry) lacked flavor and was so bland. didn't have any seasonings, would not go again

One star. Hair in my food. Enough said. I can cook this at home...and eat my own hair at this point. Gross. I ordered a family meal for my full family and we just threw the entire meal away. What a waste. Spend your hard earned money at a different restaurant in the Prune Yard.

I was a bit hangry and called in a pickup order because I was in my car and couldn't order online. Also I had a crying baby on board. The person on the phone was incredibly helpful and understanding. He reassured me about my concerns about ingredients. The food was ready very fast and it was DELICIOUS! I want to eat here more often. Yum! I got the spicy red curry with tofu and steamed vegetables. Great flavor. Fun music. I had ordered takeout but ended up early in their outdoor seating area which was pleasant for the today's weather.

Asian Box is delicious, gluten free, and super flavorful! The menu is awesome - many different choices you can customize, and prices very reasonably. I'm so happy the entire menu is gluten free, it's really helpful for those of us with allergies. The staff at this location is super friendly, helpful, and efficient. Shoutout to Andreas who is always helpful and professional! Would highly recommend Asian Box - delicious food, great portions and options, and fast and efficient customer service!

You can create your own! One of my favorite spots to eat at ! The salmon & pork are my go to protein choices!

This is a really nice Asian Box location. Asian box is great, I think some people get overwhelmed with options, but just try something. It is all fresh and delicious and reasonably priced for the high quality ingredients. I usually get their create your own option with chilled rice noodles, 5 spice chicken, Asian dust, and lots of their amazing peanut sauce and then I mix it all together. It's just so yummy, with unami, and sweetness, and it's not spicy (although they probably have spicy too). This place is such a gem. I can get in and out of here in like 1 min so I often order ahead and grab it on my way through the bay. But they have a nice outdoor area for eating too. It's not everywhere you can get delicious Vietnamese or Asian food that is just so refreshing and perfect for lunch. I would eat it every day if I could. Thanks to them for opening up my world to a whole new healthy flavor profile many years ago. I hope you get a chance to enjoy it too. Note-Make sure you try their scallions! They are a slightly crunchy flavor bomb.

Came here with a fellow vegetarian friend looking for something healthy and fresh. Pros: -healthy food -variety of veggies -friendly service (we even got to sample the fiery red curry before eating it) -variety in the carb options for the make your own box Cons: -tofu costs MORE than chicken for the make your own box option. I'm not sure how this makes sense from en economic or climate change stand point, but that's the case here. -box was served with very little sauce. Curry is a reason to go out. Without it, I could just eat carrots and brown rice at home. -tofu and rice were served cold

ZERO STARS. NEGATIVE STARS. My student with special needs asked multiple times for no peanuts. He was served peanuts and had a severe allergic reaction. Needed Benadryl and eventually needed an EpiPen and went to the ER. I went back to the restaurant to inform them. Their response was "oh sorry, she's new". I don't care if you're new or have been in the food service industry for years, there are protocols and "food handling trainings" required to work in a restaurant. This is absolutely unacceptable and a life or death incident. I'm appalled with the manager's reaction to this incident. Legal ramifications will be filed by the family. I want all to know that if you have any allergies, this restaurant will not take them into consideration. DO NOT GO HERE. "Oh sorry" will not justify a child not being able to breathe especially when he requested no peanuts. While my student was battling a severe allergy and throwing up, Starbird restaurant took care of us...providing ice, water, wipes, cleaning up vomit, checking in. I am so appreciative of the staff at Starbird and INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED WITH ASIAN BOX

OMG, 80% of box is rice. I didn't like any of the flavors, peanut and coconut. I would rather go to Chipotle any day compared to Asian box. Their sauces are not adding any value either, and 5$ more. I dont mind spending extra, if there is quailty and health benefits. They should offer sauted vegetables. They are in good location, there were no-lines, service is quicker. Premises are clean and friendly staff. Panda Express also offers sauted vegetables, we can pick as we go. Very bad experience. Rice is gluten free, but its lot of carbs. They are good in marketing, hope they will spend time to make the product better.

Great food that is fast, healthy and convenient. They have lots of healthy options, which I love for somebody who likes having a variety of go-to meals

First time to try this , ordered Ox Box . The beef was kind of juicy , with the little sweet spicy source which was taste pretty good . The beef was fully covered the rice at the bottom which was kind of big portion for me . If you yelp checkin, you could get a free drink yay

Got a coupon in the mail and that prompted me to go check this place out. Friendly staff and easy to follow/order menu. Quick service. The day I went I got the curry bowl. Rice was a bit mushy. Carrots over cooked. The taste was good but IMO they are extra with the shallot/garlic and peanuts. I could do without.

This place exceeded my expectations. It's pretty healthy and tasty. I got the miss jones, which had a great balance of protein, carbs, and fiber. I really liked the pork which was slightly sweet and the surface was lightly burnt and had a great texture. The chilled noodles were chewy. I also liked the pickled veggies a lot. However, the bean sprouts were raw and I think it would've been better if they are cooked and seasoned. The meal was also pretty wet? and i'm not sure where the water/soup came from.

Great food & the owner provided exceptional customer service in clearing up some misunderstandings! If you're looking for a Dedicated Gluten Free Restaurant give this place a try!

I can't say enough good things about Asian Box. Everything is gluten free. Favorites: the pork Banh Mi and chocolate chip cookies. Usually we order the family box. It's two signature items, two kids plates, two cookies, and two kids drinks. The French bread is so fantastic and flavorful. The Campbell location is really well set up for Covid safety. They've created outside seating in front and to the side of the restaurant. They've moved all the pickup orders right to the front, so you can easily find yours without having to enter the restaurant. Staff all wear masks and they've got a partition at register. In all, Asian Box is a win.

I've been here multiple times and always enjoyed my food. Usually I'll get the miss jones or the chicken curry, both of which are delicious. I wanted to try something new this time so I got the miss jones but with salmon. The salmon substitute was an extra $2 so it came out to be a bit expensive but oh well. The salmon was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. It had a nice crisp and flavor on the outside and the inside was tender. Probably some of the best salmon I've had to be honest. I think the serving size is pretty good, you could split it into two meals. It also just feels like healthy food and it's not too heavy which is always nice.

Decided to drop by since I normally don't come around this area. I ordered the grandmas PHO which wasn't too bad. I do agree the place is more priced compared to other joints of its kind. At the same time, there was good taste in the entree and the flavor was just right.

Made my own box with half rice and half salad as base, then ordered the salmon with peanut sauce. This was my first time because I got a free coupon in my mail, and I'm impressed by the delicious box! The salmon was cooked just right too!

We stopped in on a whim and ordered custom chicken and tofu boxes. The service was excellent, and they brought our order out to us so we didn't have to wait inside which I really appreciate. The food and portions were really good. Chicken is not over seasoned, and is still moist, and the tofu was good as well. The peanut sauce was meh. Overall it's a good value and really healthy for fast food, so we'd definitely go back if we were in the Pruneyard.

Not very good. Meats are served cold to luke warm and taste like they've been microwaved from the day prior. Other than that it's just a bag of cabbage mix you can get from trader Jose's with some add cilantro and peanuts. For $15 bucks it's not worth it.

We ordered Bobba tea for my son who has food allergies and the waitress was very patient in checking all ingredients to make sure it was safe for him.

"Asian Box" has been a personal favorite of mine for some time now. I have yet to go a branch that does not serve this food well. My go to meal is the Garden Box or I'll build a box myself. The food is tasty and prepared as it is listed. I am always satisfied with my experience at Asian Box!

I went there to get food. I saw the promotion on a stand in the prune yard that said kids eat free on weekends. I thought great it's Saturday we can do this. I walked in and they told me it's on Sundays. I said that is not what the sign says. I showed him the sign. He said he could not honor it as the "system won't allow it". I left. Weekend is Saturday and Sunday. Not just Sunday.

Both my son and I went there, though the food tasted ok. We both had a stomach ache an hour after we ate there.

This is my go-to food after a workout. Their food is really good and the food comes out quick which is perfect for me especially on those days that I forget to meal prep! Sometimes the meat will be colder than I like which is a bummer, but overall the food is delicious and the sauces they use on the meat are so tasty! Their prices are also fair for the amount of food you get.

Overall, the food here is good but, honestly, the price you pay for it is kind of ridiculous. I live down the street and, the only time, I do come here is if they offer some sort of deal/deep discount. My normal rating for this place would be 3 stars but my last experience was terrible (hence why everybody's hearing about it). My last experience went as follows, ordered the sandwich and walked around and waited for a few minutes. After a couple of orders that were placed AFTER me were called, I inquired if my order was ready. Not yet. Shortly after, the guy behind counter asked for my order number (which I just inquired about). I watch as he re-printed a receipt and placed it in the back, didn't think much of it then but in hindsight it was clear something we amiss. I waited a few more minutes and noticed a couple of sandwiches were made but the person prepping the order(s) was also manning the cash register so, 5 people walk in and he proceeds to take all the orders while full prepped food was piling up behind the counter that just needs to be packaged. Mind you, there was about 4-5 people waiting for orders before the other ~5 people had placed their order). After about 20 minutes after ordering and when it was clear the cashier was planning on taking all orders before addressing the pile of ready to go orders, I interrupted the guy mid order to ask about my food. I noticed there are 2 sandwiches ready to go and all I have is one sandwich. The cashier tells me, "your order is coming right up" and points to the line where food is being prepped (again, there's already food ready to go including a couple of already wrapped sandwiches. Finally, somebody else decided to help the guy and, again, instead of grabbing a sandwich that was has been sitting there for 5-7 minutes now, he wraps the one the line cook just finished (again, I placed an order 20 minutes ago and a few people got their orders placed and received food after mine). Yes, mistakes happen but to top it off, the sandwich was, somehow soggy and the vegetables were on it were wilted. If my sandwich was like that, imagine the other sandwiches that were sitting around for 5-10 minutes. Idk if they were short staffed or if somebody was on break if so, this place was clearly mis-managed as this was still during the lunch hour. I honestly felt like I could've gone down to OCK and gotten a meal within the same amount of time as it took to prepare an overpriced sandwich.

I had the double garlic soy steak "box"! Not bad . The combos are clever and a cross between Korean , Chinese and Vietnamese in a mix of sugary sauces and noodles or rice! It's nice to sit outside at the pruneyard shopping center and this place is reasonably priced and you get plenty for zesty lunch. I've tried all the food places here this one sits in the middle plus+ ‍

The Spring roll was discussing. Noodles, lettuce, shrimp. Horrible peanut sauce. Ordered a BOTTLE of wine, got a half bottle for $14. The chicken box.. if boring was a food this would be it. No flavor. More rice than anything. I got 3 sauces and they still could not make me want to eat it.

Just the food alone deserves 5 starts. I honestly forgot how good this place is. I work long hours, so I don't have the energy to cook on some days. I've been here in the past, and I'm glad I ate here again. I ordered the create your own bowl with rice noodles and shrimp. It was a beautiful light meal perfect to eat after a long day. Definitely recommend this location or even the Brokaw one.

This is one of my go to spots to get something quick, delicious, and pretty healthy. I normally get a build your own box with a salad base, tofu, and all the toppings except the oil and peanuts. They give you a pretty big portion and the price is very reasonable. They have a ton of different options and combinations to choose from, so you'll never be lacking in variety. It's located in the Pruneyard, so while there is parking everywhere, it can still be difficult to find a spot sometimes. Right now with COVID, finding a spot isn't an issue at all though. Their service is amazing! Amazing! Sometimes I'm very picky with my order... (no dressing on the salad base, curry on the side instead of on top of the tofu, etc etc). But the people working are always super accommodating, patient, and never seem at all bothered. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for something quick and delicious!

I recently heard the sliced lemongrass pork was back by popular demand! Asian Box had switched to a shredded fatty pork which was of inferior quality. See my previous review for details. In any case, the lean sliced lemongrass pork is back! It appears to be the same quality as before. As such, Asian Box will be back in my regular rotation! Thanks for listening to your customers! Finally visited this place a few days ago. I already know of this franchise because there is one near my workplace so no need to talk about the menu (see pic for details). The shop itself is small so it really is a take out place. But there is a small seating area that will fit ~ 10 people - it'd just get really crowded really fast. I do like the Order came out in about 10mins so I'd say it was prompt service. I'll probably be back from time to time. As for food; 1) vietnamese chicken; this one is really spicy but I really like the flavor. Will get this again 2) chicken curry; lots of flavor but not really my type. And there was not enough of the curry for my liking. I did like the additional hot sauce they gave on the side.

do not eat here. place is disgusting. they must have some ant/bug problem which i over heard one of the employees saying "must be the ants" in the background when i was calling asking for my refund. its been a long day for after work and i wanted something quick to eat before my next shift. this to go has been closed since purchased and not opened. after taking one bite i found a black bug crawling inside the lettuce which i shook it to fall on the box to record. never in my years of eating and getting take out have i seen an alive crawling bug in a spring roll or any of my food. do not eat here. spring roll was mediocre to begin with.

I've been here a couple of times for lunch. Their food is visually pleasing but not only that the food is delicious and satisfying. I love the workout plate it is delicious! They offer many different choices and combinations wether you're picky or a foodie, you can create your own. I definitely recommend stopping here if you want something quick and healthy.

Took a couple bites of my chicken curry box, and found a LONG strand of hair. I was so grossed out. Went back to the restaurant within five minutes, handed back my mostly uneaten curry box and asked for a refund. The staff had a little discussion in the kitchen, and then asked if I wanted another box. I said no, I wanted a full refund. Then the cashier tried to offer me a coupon for a free drink in my next purchase (LOL...), and I said again, no I wanted a full refund. Then she tried to stall the whole situation by asking for my receipt. I had just handed her back my curry box with the hair in it. What more proof did they need? At this point, I was just frustrated and left. The food looks great, but be sure to check your purchases for "extras" that you didn't order.

This is our work lunch meal this week and was delivered of course. It's probably by doordash but I am not sure because I usually just marched in to our little break room and there it is or are all kinds of meals for meat lovers up to vegetarian!!! We had this yesterday and I had the work out meal . It's totally an Asian fusion !!! grilled chicken with veggies (Vietnamese style) and brown rice!! I love the flavor!!! I am a bit embarrassed that I finished all of it in one seating!! I am so wishing that we will have this again so I can try the others!! Like so many reviewers will say "I recommend this place" or I should say I recommend their meals!!!

3.6/5 I don't think I got a photo of what I ordered, but I got the Miss Jones with rice. It was good, though I found that I wasn't really able to finish it since the serving size was pretty large. The service was good, and there's a little fountain for water right next to the order counter. Seating was good for a group of five giving it 3.8 just because it wasn't good or bad :)

Just came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. When they first came to the Pruneyard I had looked at the menu and didn't have any interest in going, as it didn't seem like anything special. After receiving an offer for a free box I finally decided I'd give it a chance. I got the workout box and it was quite delicious, plus the service was quick and friendly. I will probably come back here and likely get the same option! My one complaint though is that the box is way too much food for one meal, but there is not enough meat to make it two meals. If I do go back, I would try to order double meat and make it two meals because I ended up throwing a bit of the rice and veggies away, as it was not worth saving it without the flavor from the meat.
