"The Peking duck that you see hanging in the kitchen are one of the highlights on the attractive menu at this restaurant, while the pancakes that accompany the dish are prepared in front of you. The culinary traditions of Canton and Szechuan are to the fore here, served in elegant yet unfussy dishes which are full of generous flavours. A real feast!" - Michelin Inspector

Wow. What an experience. The food was just amazing. Tuna fish was perfection, with its fresh wasabi and tiny crispy bits below. The duck pancake with the crispy duck skin was very good. Fried rice and beef was filling and very tasty. The chicken broth soup was also good, although quite small and a unique taste. Strong seaweed taste. Chocolate soufflé was just right, with a great combination of strawberries and not too sweet cream. Oolong tea was the perfect way to finish this meal. The place is a bit expensive, but I feel it’s very much justified. The service was great, service was quick, and the food presentation added to the meal experience.

In the heart of the city, nestled between the hustle and bustle, lies a hidden gem that transports you to the enchanting world of ancient China. The newly renovated Chinese restaurant, with its open and airy ambiance, is a sight to behold. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by the warm and inviting aura that radiates from every corner. The subtle touch of ancient Chinese culture, beautifully interwoven with modern design elements, creates a harmonious blend that is both visually appealing and culturally enriching. The restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the church, providing a serene backdrop to your dining experience. The panoramic view, coupled with the soft, ambient lighting, sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. The owner/chef, a master of his craft, welcomed us with open arms and a heartfelt congratulation on our wedding anniversary. His passion for food and hospitality was evident in every interaction, making us feel truly special and valued. The culinary delights that followed were nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was meticulously prepared, showcasing the chef's expertise and dedication to authentic Chinese cuisine. The flavors were rich and robust, yet perfectly balanced, offering a delightful symphony of tastes. The chef's innovative twists added a refreshing element to the traditional dishes, creating a unique dining experience that tantalized our taste buds. The service was impeccable, with the staff attending to our every need with utmost care and professionalism. They made us feel welcome and comfortable, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. As a special gesture for our wedding anniversary, the owner graciously offered us complimentary drinks and a generous discount on our bill. This thoughtful gesture, coupled with the exceptional food and service, made our dining experience truly memorable. In conclusion, the Chinese restaurant is not just a place to dine, but a destination that offers a unique blend of authentic Chinese cuisine, exceptional service, and a captivating ambiance. It is a place where every visit feels like a celebration, making it an ideal choice for special occasions or simply an evening of indulgence. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a culinary journey that is as enriching as it is delicious.

Revisiting the refined flavors of Asia at Asian Glories in Rotterdam, we were warmly greeted at their new venue on Westewagenstraat. This fresh setting, while taking some getting used to, reaffirms the restaurant's high caliber. Led by Chef Kevin Fan, Asian Glories offered us an unforgettable culinary journey. Despite the team still adjusting a little bit to their new home, the quality and warm hospitality Asian Glories is known for remained uncompromised. Kevin Fan's unmatched passion for Asian cuisine, alongside his dedicated staff, ensures each meal is a masterpiece. Their commitment to consistent quality, coupled with a warm welcome, makes every visit a sensory celebration. The evening was spectacular, filled with dishes that were both familiar and innovative. Kevin and his team's pursuit of excellence remains the key to Asian Glories' success. This dedication keeps guests coming back for more of their favorite Asian delicacies. I look forward to many more visits and wish Kevin Fan and his exceptional team all the best at their new location. Their ongoing passion and commitment to culinary perfection guarantee every meal at Asian Glories will be memorable.

We dined here as a group of three and chose the three-course menu, including the Peking duck pancakes supplement. The staff was friendly, the tables and chairs were comfortable, and the space was neatly arranged. However, from a flavor perspective, the experience was somewhat underwhelming. Yes, the food was enjoyable, but it didn’t exceed expectations. The Peking duck supplement, at 4 euros per small pancake, felt a bit sparse. Additionally, one of the three courses was merely a lettuce leaf filled with meat. The main course lacked depth in flavor. Moreover, we discovered that the dessert was not included in the menu, though we did go ahead and order it. All in all, the meal was very nice, but for 70 to 80 euros (we dind't drink any wine, just one beer each and some soda) per person, I fear there might be better value for money elsewhere—though likely with a lower standard of service and ambiance. So ultimately, it depends on what you value most in a dining experience.

We had the 6 course menu. Everything was really nice. Such a beautiful place with a good ambiance. Food 10/10!

We went for Christmas dinner and picked the three course option. To begin with there were no enquiries on allergies or dietary restrictions. The food was overall lacking in flavor with all dishes tasting bland. The only saving grace was the service and ambience.

Do not go here unless you are pretending to be fancy and like to be taken. We literally went to MCDONALD'S after because we were not served food only a few starters. In the end we complained to the servers and manager and were told many people are doing so... DONT GO! Chinese takeaway is €32 and serves 3 times more.

For the first time tonight, we loved the spicy king prawns and diamond beef (diamand haas). The service was excellent, but what really made the difference was the absolute quality of meat and fish. We loved it and will be back.
