Had the best experience dining in and out with them! The food was very yummy, authentic, and reminded me of home. The servers were incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend! I’ll definitely be back!

Sagnik Bhadury

Google
Their food is pretty good. I mentioned the way I like Chinese food and the person who took my order recommended a dish that I loved eating. But the addition of 18% gratuity in each bill is a bit weird! I would like the independence of providing the tip I would like. Overall if focusing on just the food the experience was fine. Recommended: Chicken Rice, Chili chicken Chilli.

Tongyao

Google
Recommend minced pork rice and salt pepper chicken. They should be pretty authentic. The stinky tofu was not what I expected. It’s so hard and dry both inside and outside and it doesn’t have much stinky taste. I don’t know why it’s more expensive than the other two items. I like that they provided hot tea Ended up paying 40 dollars for these three dishes incl. tax and service fee.

Happy Kamakura

Google
Responsive waiter and constantly checking on us! They include 18% tip automatically. Fast service: you don’t wait for your dishes. BUT, it is a *very typical Chinese-American restaurant*: very sweet, oily, too much sauces to fit American flavor. I won’t suggest to go there if you are looking for something authentic: better cook by yourself. Don’t order the 葱油饼 green onion pancake: it’s deep fried and not the Chinese way of making it at all. 空心菜is fine.

Google
Went multiple times with friends! Loved their pork chop over rice and Taiwanese cabbage! Very yummy and portions are pretty big too! Waitress was very attentive! will def go back again!

Google
Terrible terrible food. Don’t let these pictures deceive you. After we ordered we got our food in three minutes, leading me to believe the food was MICROWAVED. Despite this, it tasted terrible. Everything was overly greasy, lacking in flavor, and too hot too eat. Would not reccomend. Tk wu is wayyy better save ur time and money and go there.

If you order right menu this place will be definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the town and perhaps in the whole state. However there are some dishes that you want to avoid. My top picks are the intestine, eggplant, pepper salt fried pork(or chicken), morning glory, and their marinated beef appetizer.

All the food here is amazing. The best authentic Taiwanese food in the area! I recommend everything on the menu :) Some of my favorites are Spicy crispy fish and mustard greens with tofu and fish!

Yelp
A once wonderful Asian eatery has become questionable. By implementing a form of "tipflation" the restaurant has raised prices by 18%. What's worse is it's a hidden gratuity that you may never notice. Pro Tip: Unbelievable someone has to be told this; check every item on your bill. Always look for posted signs as you initial enter; especially near the cash register. Also read the menu thoroughly. Normally, I wouldn't complain too loudly about an automatic 18% gratuity. What if today's service was lousy? It's no longer a tip, but a service charge. The biggest problem is not informing customers in advance. Maybe illegal? Well, IYKYK. I hate their dining room and probably always will. It's just like a boring, drab, dull office building cafeteria with no colour and nothing on the walls. Just an opinion. Always wanted to vent that. When it comes to customer service they are smiling, friendly and accommodating. Things have become a tad slow since pandemic. Maybe it's yet one more staffing shortage? The food here is very good. I encourage you to try the duck. Friends swear by the Wuxi Ribs. They did just raise the price to $22; but remember to add the 18% so that entree is now $26. I wonder if being a family O/O business, all tips stay in the building. Isn't that just a hidden price increase? 11/24

Yelp
This is another one of those spots where I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Hands down, the best Asian food (specifically TAIWANESE FOOD!) in Ann Arbor! As a Taiwanese American, it was so wonderful to discover this spot when I started school at Michigan and it was easily the go-to spot every time my parents came into town to visit me because obviously, we always want to have Taiwanese food! My only light complaint about Asian Legend is that it can sometimes be inconsistent - at times, overly salty in its dishes or sometimes bland, but given how many times I've come here, the vast majority of dishes/food we get is wonderful and delicious and truly hits the spot! That spot being...my constant craving for Taiwanese food because it's truly the best type of cuisine! Asian Legend has all my favorites, all my comfort foods, from the small dishes/sides like scallion pancakes to the larger mains like rice noodles with beef (I'm trying to translate all of these things over from the Chinese names for all the dishes in my brain lol)! But just trust me on this, everything here is delicious and just depends on preference, but I encourage you to order a plethora from all over the menu in different categories and then share it - family style, of course - with the entire table! Asian Legend doesn't have massive lazy susans in the middle of every table for no reason, after all! In conclusion, if you're craving quality Asian food when you're in the Ann Arbor area, look no further than Asian Legend. It's - dare I say - a hidden gem and very understated in its outward appearance, so you might pass on by it without a single thought, but you just know that's further proof that this one is going to be a good one! Focusing on its food rather than on the environment! I'll take that over everything, any day! Love you, Asian Legend!

Yelp
I tried this restaurant for the first time with an Asian friend of mine who was in town visiting. Super glad she recommended it. We had the onion pancake, the pepper salt crispy chicken, and the chicken with basil (bone in). The flavors of all were so delicious. I found the bones in the chicken with basil to be annoying, but the flavor to be worth the effort. My friend recommended trying the beef noodle soup next time I come back, and I will definitely be back!! The service and ambiance weren't spectacular, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as a special date night, but it's certainly worthy of a quick dine in or takeout opportunity.

B K.

Yelp
I got the fried chicken over white rice dish. Very flavorful. Nice indulgent meal that's not too heavy on the stomach.

Moon Y.

Yelp
Love their soup noodles and the selection of bento boxes. Very quick with orders. My go-to spot for lunch.

Yelp
Taiwanese street food is some of my favorite food as I grew up eating it. It's a bit hard to find in MI...until I moved to AA! A friend, who used to frequent Asian Legend nearly 10 years ago during his undergrad years, recommended it to me. Asian Legend has partnered with EatStreet for quick online ordering. But, I rely mostly on Chinese characters when I'm ordering Taiwanese food & the EatStreet menu does NOT include Chinese, so I just ended up calling because I ordered the wrong things the first time. But, as a heads up, if you're looking for 滷肉飯 (Lu Rou Fan), it's "Minced Pork Over Rice". The "Braised Pork Over Rice" is 燒肉飯 (Shao Rou Fan) is slightly different. I haven't had it here, but it's typically larger pork belly pieces versus the minced pork which is typically ground pork (as it is here.) Their Onion Pancake Wrapped w/Beef (牛肉捲餅) is pretty dang tasty here. Nice crispiness that held up well in the styrofoam box! It's like a Chinese burrito (but with a green onion pancake instead of a flour tortilla) with marinated pieces of beef shank. The Minced Pork was a GENEROUS portion with the hardboiled soy sauce egg and tasty pickled mustard greens. I was also really impressed by their sauteed pea shoots -- really garlicky & could tell that they used xiao xia mi (little dried shrimp that you can't really see) for that nice punch of umami -- exactly like how my mom used to! I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a box of rice too -- not sure if it's because I ordered during lunch. I'd love to see Asian Legend around for another 10 years, so please support your local restaurants and find your new Taiwanese fav!

Amy L.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite authentic Chinese restaurant in Ann Arbor! They have sooo many options and from all the dishes I've tried, they're all really good. Can't wait to try more items on their menu. I also love getting their personal bento boxes to go - braised pork over rice and chicken over rice are my go to's. As for their authentic dishes my favorites are the vermicelli and minced pork, eggplant with garlic sauce , and the tofu, intestine, and mustard green.

Yelp
I get that covid has turn the restaurant industry up-side down and a lot of creative ideas has to be hatched during government ordered shutdown. I've heard of covid service fee or raising prices to offset the delivery cost, etc. However, all the emergency orders were lifted, dine-in is allowed, masks are optional.... but mandatory tipping for dine-in? Call it an excuse, convenience or just going with the flow, but Asian Legend automatically adds 15% tip for dine-in. I've been to lot of restaurants since the government allowed dine-in, all the places that I've visited do not automatically include tips, it was optional - especially for party of two. Yeah, don't think I'll be coming back again.... and it's been around 9 years since my last visit. I came by with my nephew for lunch. We were the first customers (12pm); got seated and reviewed the menu. To order, you indicate what you want on the paper menu and we went with the following: - Taiwanese baby bokchoy with garlic - Eggplant with sliced pork and basil - Beef Chow fun - Fried chicken (chicken with basil) - Onion pancake wrapped with beef We enjoyed the meal. The least favorite was the fried chicken - really had no flavor to it. The onion pancake was excellent - good way to start off the meal as a starter. Overall, good lunch, as stated was taken back with the mandatory tip!

Abdullah A.

Yelp
What's with all of the bad reviews? Two main takeaways: people in A2 would rather have Panda Express than authentic Taiwanese food, and people overvalue service, which is always going to be poorer at Asian restaurants. I was very happy with our dinner. We had fried tofu with basil, eggplant with tofu, noodles with pork, and garlic bok choi. The tofu was plump and juicy, with lots of sauve in all of the dishes. The eggplant was a huge hit, our favorite of the bunch. The noodles were thin, with lots of Taiwanese-seasoned pork bits. I though portions were quite reasonable for the price: ~$45 got us three entrees and a side and fed us for five meals. Rice was included with the veggie entrees. I would definitely come back.

Rachel B.

Yelp
Lived in the Ann Arbor area for years and never heard of this place until now! Was recommended by my boss who is Taiwanese. We went here for a work party and tried a variety of Taiwanese dishes including onion pancakes and onion pancakes with beef, eggplant and oysters, cabbage with garlic, and fried shrimp (not sure what the name is), and some sort of pork noodle stir fry with mushrooms. The only thing that I didn't like was the tea- very weak. Otherwise a great spot and it was super busy when we were there but our food came pretty quickly for a large group!

Eleanor B.

Yelp
It had always been my go to Chinese restaurant to dine in. Familiarity with the food is a high point for me! Everything else in Ann Arbor is mystery Chinese food except for China Chef for certain dishes. Service is quick and the husband and wife team are quick yet courteous. Their prices are reasonable and the 18% service charge is ok with me

Sophie W.

Yelp
Food is always delicious. Very underrated and the owner is a very nice guy. I definitely recommend stopping by. Really delicious beef noodle soup

Ashley F.

Yelp
Asian Legend is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor. Whenever I visit campus, this is at the top of my list! The owners are always friendly and make an effort to get to know customers. Service is good and the food always comes quickly, making it possible to stop in for a quick dinner if you're in a hurry. I highly recommend trying the "spicy beef, tofu, and mustard green" dish if you enjoy spicy food. The dish is served bubbling hot over a flame, and the flavors are incredible. I've never found this dish done as well at any other restaurant. The string bean with salty egg is also a delicious vegetable option to add to your order. Definitely a must visit when you're in Ann Arbor!

Monicka C.

Yelp
One of the best places on campus to get Chinese food. My boyfriend and I usually like to get the Chow Fun w/Beef, Yung Chow Fried Rice, and the Onion Pancake Wrapped w/Beef. Pros: - Authentic Taiwanese food - Tasty and a wide variety of food - Pretty good service for an Asian restaurant ~ Servers know Mandarin and English - Large portion sizes ~ This is more a family style restaurant - Main dishes are decently priced for the portion - Large restaurant ~ Good if you want to eat alone, eat with a small group, or eat with a large group of friends Cons: - Food can be on the oiler side - Appetizers are a bit pricey ~ The onion pancake (which is a starter) was the same price as the chow fun (which is a main dish) Overall: - Asian Legend is my go to if I'm looking for some Chinese/Taiwanese food

Dia D.

Yelp
I am not Taiwanese and haven't had Taiwanese food before so I can't speak to the authenticity of their food. However, I had heard from a student from Singapore that she thought that this was the best Asian restaurant in town. We went for dinner on a Saturday night when they were busy but we were seated right away. We could have ordered fairly quickly but the menu is large and many of the items were unfamiliar (e.g., spicy pig ears, intestine, etc.) so it took us awhile to work through the menu. I ordered the spicy pork with mustard greens and my husband had the shrimp with broccoli. Both dishes were very good. Once we ordered, our food arrived very quickly. The three women working the dining room were all friendly and efficient. They weren't chatty, but they were also quite busy. I would definitely return.

Alexander T.

Yelp
Fairly good Taiwanese style food Recommend dishes Onion Pancake Wrapped w/ Beef Steamed Bun w/ Braised Pork ( Gua Bao ) Spicy Fish Fillet with mustard green and tofu Sautéed String Beans Wuxi Ribs Spicy Beef Tripe & Flank Pork with Mustard Green and Bamboo Other veggies are not good

Hali M.

Yelp
Definitely the most authentic Taiwanese we've found near the Ann Arbor area over the past 6 months. This is our GO TO spot, they deserve a lot more credit for authenticity and solid food. I generally get their boba drinks which are great, hot and sour $7 that is OK, and crab Rangoons are eh. We also generally get the mapo tofu which is great and we try other items from time to time, such as the intestine which was OK but not crispy enough. All in all- our fave authentic Taiwanese restaurant in the nearby Ann Arbor area. Worth it!

Eminence P.

Yelp
Finally found a Singaporean favorite in Ann Arbor, stir fry kangkong and horfun and they are amazing! Fyi its not sambal belacan but garlic stir fry, still, im happy to find two dishes that im familar with and craving since covid lockdown! 10/10 for the Horfun, great noodle texture, thick, huge pieces, flavorful. Gravy is thick, not too salty, owner isnt stingy with meat. 9/10 for the kangkong, If only it was sambal belacan haha but other than that the garlic sauce is nice too. 3/10 Cashew Prawn, erm.. Too dry, the sauce seems weak, too much veggies. This restaurant is my new fav and i will be back!

Zhao C.

Yelp
This is definitely the place to go if you're looking for a large variety of authentic Chinese and Taiwanese dishes, meaning dishes you would order if you were actually in China or Taiwan. I ordered the Chinese Chives with Shrimp and Egg and the classic Ma Po Tofu and requested to have both spicy. I was happy to see that they did indeed make it spicy by adding chili peppers to both the dishes - really enjoyed experiencing a taste of home :) Their portion sizes are huge too, so come hungry or get ready for leftovers!

Michelle T.

Yelp
The Taiwanese food here is really good and authentic! This is the only place in Ann Arbor I could find that serves oyster omelet which is one of my favorite Taiwanese dishes - I always get this specific item whenever I visit relatives in Taiwan. They also have a lot of other yummy dishes I like to order such as the three cup chicken, ma po tofu, and lu rou fan (minced pork over rice). It felt like a taste of home having some of these things. Like most Chinese/Taiwanese restaurants, it's more fun to eat with a larger group so you can order/try as many dishes as possible. The prices here are fair for the portion sizes you get. I haven't had an issue with service. However, I do speak mandarin and the people I usually eat with also speak mandarin with the servers. That may be a contributing factor.

Lin I.

Yelp
Recommend here if you like sweet food. The portion is not big and so you can try more food at the same time. Three-cup chicken: Wuxi Rib: Chive egg shrimp: Rice:

Yelp
Asian Legend is a gem! I just wish more people would appreciate it for what it is: Taiwanese comfort food in the heart of Ann Arbor. This was an unexpected find. Now I am not an expert on Taiwanese food, but one of my son's favorite dishes in all the world is minced pork over rice. So when I found it on the menu at Asian Legend, we simply had to make a stop for dinner. It's not surprising that more people haven't figured out what Asian Legend does best. This dish was buried on a part of the menu called "Bento Boxes" and to many that's a Japanese thing. But it's a Taiwanese thing too. Don't take my word for it. Here's a story from Eater: https://www.eater.com/2019/3/6/18241749/bento-box-best-food-train-stations-taiwan Anyhow, both the fried chicken over rice and the minced pork over rice were fantastic. The MaPo Tofu with minced pork was good, but I'm looking forward to future visits to taste more of what this Asian Legend does best. My hunch is that after exploring a wider swath of the menu, it will reveal itself to be one of my favorite spots around campus and earn its fifth star.

Yi Rong T.

Yelp
Tucked away in Michigan Ann Arbor is an authentic Taiwanese restaurant that students can enjoy. The staff are prompt and yes according to some of the other reviews, it helps that you do speak mandarin as it makes service/communication easier/better. Wuxi Ribs - Tender off-the-bone beef ribs with a slightly sweet glaze that is not overpowering at all. My only gripe is that there weren't more ribs on the plate! Score of 4.5/5 Black Pepper Pork On Rice - Comes with some green peppers and onions but I found the consistency of the black pepper sauce to be a bit watered down. The pork was also not very well seasoned and relied too much on the sauce for the flavor. Score of 3/5 Vegetables - Some seasoned vegetables that I can't recall the full name of (look at the picture for reference). Had a very different flavor profile as if it tasted like fermented eggs. Unique taste not for most people. Score of 3/5 If you are looking for some classic taiwanese dishes, this is the spot for you. If you are looking for impeccable service at a typical American restaurant, I would advise you to temper your expectations.

Daniel Z.

Yelp
Amazing food. Really authentic high quality options from a huge menu. No frills just great food, IYKYK.

Novia W.

Yelp
First time here and went here for lunch. Ordered chicken bento (comes with braised prok and rice, an egg, and some spice to mix into the rice), eggplant and tofu, and onion pancake (which is scallion pancake in most other restaurants). I really enjoy Taiwanese food and this place served really authentic Taiwanese snacks and entrees! The chicken we got was really crispy and tender at the same time, very much like the ones I had in Taiwan last time I visited. The service was really good too! We were seated right away and were served hot tea. The owner actually served us and she was a really sweet lady. Since I knew Chinese, I placed my order in Chinese and she actually had a chitchat with me -- super approachable and friendly. Definitely would come back for the food and service!

Emily L.

Yelp
I wish I could give negative stars if there's an option. The worst customer service in my entire LIFE. Avoid at all cost.

L B.

Yelp
Make sure that you order off the Chinese menu, not the American one. The Chinese food is great. The American-Chinese food is meh.

Rod J.

Yelp
My 4th time hear in 4th straight weekend and every time I eat here leaves me craving to come back sooner. authentic Chinese dishes, food is heaven and the servers are welcoming and genuinely nice. Makes your dining experience really positive.

Carolyn W.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants on campus for Asian food. I've been coming here since freshman year and it really has never disappointed me. The food is authentic and the service is excellent. If you're craving Taiwanese delicacies, this is the place to go. I enjoy the string beans with salty egg a lot and order it pretty much every time I go. It's a very unique dish with a lot of flavors. I also get the spicy beef, tofu, and mustard green (one dish) and it is absolutely delicious. It comes in a sizzling plate with flame beneath it, which keeps the dish hot white you're eating! I've also tried their mapo tofu, which is very good and the best you'll find on campus. The bubble tea here, however, is pretty average. The tea is decent but the bubbles aren't the right consistency. Nonetheless, I love Asian Legend and will continue to frequent this spot!

Alex R.

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic food close to campus, this is the place. Was recommended by one of my chinese friend, and I knew this place was good when I saw every table was full with chinese students. Ordered Mapo tofu and Twice cooked pork, was more than enough for 2 people. Food wad great and they provide chinese tea with food, which I loved it.

Anh T.

Yelp
Visiting from California so I should manage my own expectations when looking for some comfort Chinese food. Pepper Salt Crispy Chicken: fried white meat chicken and soggy from oil Pig Ear, Seaweed, Tofu Cold Dish: tofu was flavorless, pig ear was cut thin and marinated well Marinated Beef: flavorless

Richard J.

Yelp
The first Taiwanese restaurant I've ever been to in the US. Some restaurants make Taiwanese food but not the authentic. This one is pretty good. I sent photos to my Taiwanese friends and they said those looked pretty authentic. Can't believe there are so many good restaurants around the UM campus.

Kuma L.

Yelp
I gave them 4 stars because I rated them according to the authenticity and the cost of the food. However, I didn't see any issue on service as well. I saw their menu online and was curious about some of the Taiwanese food, so I decided to have it a shot! Upon getting in the restaurant, the staff was very friendly and led me to my table, it was a very quick decision for me since I already knew what I wanted to order. I ordered a Squid with satay noodle soup and oyster omelette, both dishes are very local Taiwanese street food. The taste was pretty good, even it can't compare to what I get in Taiwan, but it was very tasty. The only downside for the oyster omelette was not enough oyster and the sauce was little bit off. For people we is craving for Taiwanese street food, I recommend you to try it out. Many people are complaining about the service, but I didn't have any issue. During my 40 mins dinning at the restaurant, they staff were very friendly to non-Chinese speakers as well.

Sam C.

Yelp
The best authentic Taiwanese food in Ann Arbor. Wuxi ribs are a must get. There isn't a better Asian restaurant in downtown Ann Arbor. Just be careful not to order the American Chinese food as it's not as good.

Alexander H.

Yelp
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The service is wonderful. From personal experience i think Asian Legend is absolutely the best restaurant I've ever been to. The food is extremely flavorful! I recommend the wuxi ribs and pepper salt crispy chicken. As a person who came from parents who owned their own restaurant as well I understand how hard they work. The owners are extremely hard working!

Jason C.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place. Went here tonight for minced pork on rice (Lu rou fan) and the oyster omelet. I had read over prior reviews, so I entered with some trepidation. I can see what other folks have said about the minced pork over rice being bland. I thought it was pretty full flavored. It was a bit under-salted, but I thought it was good. The oyster omelet wasn't that great though. I thought the texture and flavor were fine. I just wish the oysters were fresher. The service was fairly good.

Matthew A.

Yelp
Great egg rolls! General Tsos was pretty good. Would go back again and have dine in to really explore the menu.

Mike H.

Yelp
Love their fried crispy chicken and Taiwanese sausage. Also ginger fish filet and spicy pork and watercress are delicious. They also have pretty good stinky tofu and oyster omlette. I can count on them for a satisfying meal!

Shu G.

Yelp
Food is good but is expensive considering the price and the amount of food. They also charge tips directly so it's annoying.

Yikai L.

Yelp
Finally made it here at the end of 2016. Quite a few tables are packed upon our arrival at 7:30pm. Waitresses are very friendly. Yogurt jelly is a must, as the tofu inside is really tasty and the milk tea is smooth and sweet. Chinese Watercress with Garlic is good, Chicken w/ Basil and Eggplant w/ oyster both worth a try! Their portion is just right. It is free to park outside their back door.

Yujing Z.

Yelp
Should give negative points if I can. Automatic charge 18% tip for two person dine in. When questioned, the owner trying to intimidate me with his crazy attitude. OK, customer should disputes these unauthorized charges with credit card company. Unscrupulous business, garbage...

S L.

Yelp
Unless you have a degradation kink, I would not recommend coming here. I placed an online pickup order for beef chow fun, in the instructions I wrote that the only vegetables I wanted in the dish was broccoli. It normally comes with bean sprouts, beef, and noodles. So one would assume when I asked for the only vegetables to be broccoli in the dish, that the remaining ingredients would remain the same. However, when I got home and opened up the box, the dish did not have any beef. I went back to the restaurant to tell them about the mix up, and the guy working there deadass started yelling at me???? And he said if I wanted meat he would need to charge me again. So I just stared at him until he kissed his teeth and went to the kitchen to add meat to the dish. If they couldn't do anything about it, just say that, who tf yells at their customers LOLLLLL

Linde H.

Yelp
The food here was decent, offering pretty authentic-tasting Asian dishes. We got the Chicken with Basil (just okay), Eggplant with Pork and Basil (Thai style, pretty good), Onion Pancake Wrapped with Beef (good but way too deep fried), Pork with Dried Tofu and Celery (good but too greasy), Sauteed String Beans (good but too much sugar), and Chinese Watercrass with Garlic (good). The lower stars are coming from the fact that the food was tasty, but in my opinion over-sauced with wayy too small portion sizes for a typical Chinese restaurant. It felt like we were getting two thirds or a half of what we'd get for similar prices elsewhere. And afterward my stomach felt a bit sick from all the grease. So, the dishes offered are definitely more authentic, but in my opinion over-greasy and overpriced for the portion.

Cuong T.

Yelp
This place is NOT good, and the service like many have stated is downright RUDE and horrendous. If you like to be yelled at and low quality food and people taking your money...go for it!

Layla S.

Yelp
One word Amazing! I don't understand all the bad reviews on this restaurant! The owners are especially kind, they looked like they were understaffed so i do understand the slower service that is provided. To all the people that kept complaining about the owners being "rude" or the service is to "slow" you do realize that for a family owned business in a middle of a crisis, times are hard and can be stressful so you should be patient. Anyways The food there is excellent i really enjoyed the hot and sour soup and pepper salt crispy chicken.

Leigh Y.

Yelp
Amazing taiwanese food!! I'm a Taiwanese American living in California and I still crave and miss Asian Legend every now and then. Their minced pork rice is delicious, their scallion pancake is wonderful, and they have a lot of other yummy and authentic dishes! I highly recommend to anyone who's looking for an authentic Taiwanese experience!

lyanne y.

Yelp
As a child of two Taiwanese immigrants, I can confidently say this place is the most authentic Taiwanese restaurant in Southeast Michigan. The owners are great and their food is always delicious!

Yurino N.

Yelp
I ordered to take out food. I got a bitter melon with salty eggs and wantan soup. I really like them! I arrived there little early but it was ready:) Thank you for smoothing your service!

Mandy W.

Yelp
That Taiwanese pork chop dish with vegetables, egg, and sauce all over rice really hits the spot for me! Must order if you want instant satisfaction. It's called something like pork chops over rice on the menu. The pork chops were fried - it was seasoned well. Vegetables have the dish a nice moisture! The egg is always my favorite! I wish the sauce was a tad bit more savory as it should be, then it would've been perfect! They are very generous with portions! I scarfed down this dish in minutes. If you're not sure what to order, you will never go wrong with the pork chop dish!
