Google
5 star place so why would I rate it 2 stars? First, AMAZING availability of products not found in any local stores etc and some are even hard to find online. Kudos for the variety offered (shelved foods and frozen etc). This use to be our go to for Thai Boba tea (my 2 kids, now young adults are addicted). I noticed a HUGE price increase after my kids came from their usual 3x visit there, so read the receipt. I visited in store to see myself if I was going crazy - THEY ARE CHARGING $2.00 IF YOU REQUEST NO ICE! THEY ARE CHARGING $1.00 IF YOU REQUEST LIGHT ICE! Don't believe me? I'm attaching a photo to warn others who might just swipe without reviewing the charges. This is BEYOND PETTY and downright disgusting if you ask me. $5.29 as of June 2025, $6.29 for a large - common sense is if the entire cup is filled with ice you're paying $6 for a literally a few sips and in SC heat this drink will not last long or quench your thirst (we use to buy 2 for each of us). I find this audacity to be poor business practice as "light ice or no ice" is literally not costing you a penny (thai tea is made in batches as i make it at home all the time - I just can't make boba) and even high priced chains like Starbucks wouldn't dare charge for "light ice or no ice". So needless to say, we stopped visiting entirely as I refuse to support a business who doesn't support their customers. Aside from this major complaint, they are usually stocked with items and if you would like an item they don't stock you can mention it and they will do their best to get the item in for you. So if your pockets are deep you'll enjoy this place along with their shaved ice cream.

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience! I visited Asian Mart in Myrtle Beach and had such a fun time exploring. The store has an incredible selection of Asian products — everything from snacks and noodles to kawaii items and more. It’s clean, well-organized, and so inviting. Martin was especially helpful and super friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. We only tried the boba tea from the Sweet Ice Cafe inside, but it was delicious and refreshing — definitely a highlight! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be going back to try more!

Google
Nice little mart in Myrtle Beach, you can get some of your favorite Asian chips, ramen, hot dimsum items, steamed buns, boba, some bread and baked products, juices, frozen items, Asian sauces.

Google
Practically the only game in town for Asian grocery store needs but it’s not bad at all. Their boba is not bad either. Good vegetables. A nice variety of Asian food types— Korean, Chinese, Thai, etc

Mackenzie Bailey

Google
This place is awesome! I definitely recommend. Best boba ever. I loved the pork gyoza.

Google

Google
Always an amazing place to go shop for various Asian fresh produce, meats, sauces, spices, and snacks. The staff is always so wonderful and there's always something that you'll want there! One of my favorite Asian marks I've been to around here.

Google
This place was great! We went in just to buy a few things but seen that they offered bubble tea and I must say, it was the best bubble tea I have ever had. Suggest getting the brown sugar flavor. It’s to die for.

Loeung D.

Yelp
New to MB, found what I needed however limited in produce. Clean, welcoming, and had fresh local shrimp! A must if your needing essentials to oriental ingredients.

Yelp
My youngest daughter and I dropped by while in town. She loves to patron an Asian Mart whenever she's able. She got some kind of boba tea, they had several to choose from that were made fresh to order. I got a bbq chicken steamed bun and some kind of sushi dumpling (can't remember then exact name). My daughter also got the dango, and she loved it. They have some other great offerings in there that was didn't buy, only because we were visiting from out of town. Good to know this place is nearby whenever we visit.

Yelp
Small, amply stocked, and phenomenal service. The man there was super busy but made sure to ask if I needed help finding anything. As it turn out, I needed help finding many things... I'd already done a slow lap through and gotten most of my list, but within 90 seconds he zipped through the store and I had everything I needed. Grateful for the time he saved me and his going above and beyond on a busy day.

Yelp
You can tell the family that owns this really cares about their business and the quality of their products. They were so friendly upon entering. You're instantly transported out of touristy Myrtle Beach and into a sweet little bodega. I ended up purchasing some dried goods, packaged ramen, instant bubble tea, and a ready Lychee Bubble tea from the counter in the front. They also have rolled ice cream if you're so inclined. Of note: they have an extensive refrigerated and fresh section as well. If you want something different for a fun date night in, come here for your ingredients.

Skye W.

Yelp
This is a nice little Asian grocery store. I love their bubble tea and pastries (in fridge near front door). Sadly they no longer have rolled ice cream, though.

Kristen P.

Yelp
This was my first time trying bubble tea and I was thoroughly impressed! We just happened upon this location while traveling back home from the beach and I hope to make it a permanent stop every year from now on (can't wait to try more flavors).

Yuki J.

Yelp
It's a small Asian food market, but clean and offer basic line-up. I like the sweet and steamed manjyu,

Kristina G.

Yelp
When I first started coming down here I said that the area was lacking some Asian flavor. Well here's a piece of it right here in Myrtle Beach! The store is tight. Its small and the aisles are tight but they have to fit in all of the goodness they carry, and its a lot. I frequent Asian stores and they even had some things here I haven't seen before. That was cool. Everything is labeled and dated properly so there was no question on price or quality. In here you can also order bubble tea and rolled ice cream. Its a little confusing as to how this works because the counter is on the opposite side of the cashier. But how I think this works is that you go to the cashier and order and pay for your treat and then they write it down and you give your paid ticket to the counter behind you where they'll make your tea or ice cream. This seems like a pain when you're in line with others purchasing store items only. But I guess it is what is is. Not a deal breaker. Will be back for any Asian fun things when in the area and the kids really enjoyed the rolled ice cream and bubble tea!

Natasha N.

Yelp
I got super excited that there was a place that made boba here. Boba isn't big in the south yet. Cute little Asian Mart. Lot of stuff is pricey here. We ordered some bubble tea, but it was not that great. We got the Thai tea and the honey dew. Both tasted artificially made. The other part is we don't get to see them make the drinks in front of us. They actually make the drinks in the back which is really weird. The tapioca balls weren't that good either. They also make rolled ice cream if you wanted to try it. AS ALWAYS, NOM FOR LIFE!

Arcadio M.

Yelp
This store had a wide selection of items that are tough to find elsewhere. I am a big fan of Thai tea, but I have not found a restaurant in the area that had a Thai tea I enjoyed. You can buy packets here to make your own, and they taste pretty much like the one I used to get at another restaurant. If you are a little lazy, you can buy the already made tea from the fridge and if you prefer it to be hot you can warm it up. The lady working that day was very friendly. She helped my partner and I find several items we had trouble locating. Overall this is the best Asian market we have been to in the area. The prices are fair, the selection is good, and the staff is friendly. We will be coming here again soon.

Missy D.

Yelp
This review is on the grocery side only - we found this store had a more limited selection and higher prices compared to the other asian grocery store in town, but still a good place to stop if you need to grab ingredients. There was some cool housewares and other non-food items in the store, so definitely worth checking out.

TaoChi M.

Yelp
Sweet treat in a Asian market you can order and shop .... I can't find a real deal boba drink anywhere good on this side of town was I taste like they pour it out from and can deink

Georgette N.

Yelp
OMG! The ONLY place to eat oriental food! It is NOT Chinese! It's delicious one of a kind place! The dishes are fresh and made while you wait! The egg rolls, chicken wings, duck and all rice and noodle dishes are all excellent. Gotta try it!

Kaash K.

Yelp
Not real boba drinks. Should keep it as a market. They charge for no ice . Yes . And they'll show you why.

Kristine D.

Yelp
So glad to have found this little Asian market in Myrtle Beach! As far as I know, this is the only store for miles that sells your common Asian food products. They also sell bubble tea and Thai-style rolled ice cream! Everytime my family is in town, we stop here for produce and the random non-perishable. Coming from the DC-area, we've found the prices here to be really affordable. They have a good selection of rice and noodles, spices, and canned items. Here is a sampling of the items that we purchased during this last trip - salmon furikake, ebi furikake, gluten-free panko, gluten-free tempura mix, sinigang mix, fresh ginger, fresh scallions, fresh shrimp, sushi rice, Vietnamese fish sauce, and a few ingredients for Filipino fruit salad (kaong, macapuno sport, and coconut gel). We scored quite the hodge-podge of items! Although small, this market packs quite the punch. They also now sell bubble tea and Thai-style rolled ice cream ($6.50). They have a very nice selection of flavors and toppings. My MIL hadn't tried rolled ice cream before, and really enjoyed it. She ordered the green tea ice cream with mochi, whipped cream, and red bean. She thought the ice cream was delicious and not overly sweet, and she found the toppings to be fresh and tasty. Lastly, parking was a breeze, and it was perfectly located next to a Thai restaurant, which is convenient of you're looking for a place to eat before heading home with your Asian groceries.

Yelp
I love this market. They always have cool finds that u cannot find in an usual store. Owners are friendly and they have BoBa. My mini needs it everywhere we go

Iyana L.

Yelp
Not very welcoming but did not want to judge them as i just drove 25 mins to get some kimchi. That is then when the woman decided to tell me it was cash only and they were closing their store early and did not want to wait for me to grab cash from the gas station right across the street. Would recommend only going here if you have cash and customer service does not matter for you. Actually so wouldn't recommend at all.

Yelp
This Asian Market in Myrtle Beach, SC have dessert like rolled ice cream and boba tea! It is not too far from the Hong Kong Supermarket, 5 minute drive. There were only 3 rows of products, however I liked they have more snack selection and cold beverages. I got two drinks, Squid salad, Fried pork ham roll, and Pork sausage. I was about to try their Mango or Strawberry boba tea but I already got two drinks so I will try it next time. I would definitely come back to try to the Boba Tea or Rolled Ice Cream!!

Anna J.

Yelp
This is a neat little Asian store ,different items to try with reasonable prices , attentive staff . Everybody keeps mentioning and raving about their rolled ice cream . I keep rolling past the idea every time I go into the store and will give it a try.

Ashley H.

Yelp
We love their rolled ice cream, a lot of flavors to choose from. Also the snack and chip section is a must! They have taken all COVID precautions for customers that are ordering ice cream and boba. A must go in Myrtle!

Ashar A.

Yelp
One of a few Asian marts around the Conway/Myrtle beach area. They have all the Asian goodies I love. I've been here a couple of times so far and I receive great customer service every time. The women that run this business are very friendly and always willing to help you find what you need. I get most of my sushi supplies from here as well. They have gluten free soy sauce which is very difficult to find in an average grocery store as well as pickled ginger. They have one of favorite teriyaki flavored tofu and fresh local producer. I prefer going here for all the ingredients to make a proper Asian meal!

Saige R.

Yelp
REVIEW SOLELY BASED OFF BUBBLE TEA & ICE CREAM!!! I purchased the honeydew bubble tea and it was great! I'm not a fan of the bubbles due to texture but still it tasted amazing. Also the rolled ice cream was so good and watching them make it was super cool. I had the strawberry banana one it was delish.

Karen B.

Yelp
I finally found a store in the Grand Strand that carries sauces, noodles and wrappers to make the Filipino dishes I used to make back in NY. They weren't making rolled ice cream due to Covid 19, but this place was stocked with a variety that will make any cook happy.

Diego B.

Yelp
This little asian Store has a wide variety of food but they also have this delicious rolled ice cream. In the myrtle beach area, this is the only place where you can get rolled ice cream and I must say IT IS DELICIOUS!!!!

Aaron G.

Yelp
I like this store. I stopped by in search of some oriental yams (very different from other yams, and not so easily found in your typical market) -- and indeed, Asian Mart was my salvation, stocking two varieties of my sought tubers. I poked around the rest of the store while there, and found it to be clean and organized, with a full variety of the ethnic fair you'd expect at an "Asian Mart." Likewise, the cashier was friendly and fast. In the end, I got my yams without issue, and would gladly return. My sincere thanks goes out to all associated with this business. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your service. Keep it up, ladies and gents!

Martin R.

Yelp
Small but very substantial Asian market! Has an amazing selection where you will find all the condiments necessary for many Asian dishes - I noticed they have a really nice selection of Thai and Vietnamese condiments as well which I don't usually find in all Asian stores (which seem to cater more to Chinese ingredients). Nice selection of fresh and hard to find produce as well. They also make their own Kimchi which is DELICIOUS but it does sell out fast so make sure you call ahead to see if they have any left! I am allergic to dairy but their Thai ice cream is always hoppin with business so it must be good!

Natasha C.

Yelp
Amazing little Asian grocery store, friendly staff and great product. They have everything imaginable from all types of seafood to so many choices of ramen. Will visit again

Hung D.

Yelp
A very cool little market that serves rolled ice cream and bubble tea. We found what we were looking for to cook dinner. Pleasantly surprised they had fresh jumbo shrimps head on in a little cooler next to counter for $6.50 per lb. Friendly & helpful staff.

Cindy M.

Yelp
Not vegan oriented Most Asian grocery stores have a wide variety of accidently vegan food supplies, and this was an exception. NONE of the sweets/treats that we were interested in were accidently vegan. We did pick up a jar of vegan ckn broth powder that looked interesting to try. But we noted the prices on everything from soy sauce to rice vinegar was higher than other Asian markets we visit. We were hoping they had canned, green jackfruit for some vegan BBQ but all they had was the sweet canned jackfruit. We will keep looking for other alternatives. Nice looking store, very clean and cheerful otherwise.

Nicholas S.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. I personally shop here for some of my groceries. Asian Mart offers a large variety of items that are not offered at your average market place. If you have an open mind and you enjoy trying new things I would highly recommend checking this place out.

Johanne V.

Yelp
While vacationing in USA, I like to visit different international grocery stores. I was very impressed with this rather small but very clean grocery store. I found the fresh produce looked very fresh and was neatly displayed in clean, well lit fridges. The cashier was very helpful and nice. A very positive first visit.

Ramon B.

Yelp
This is my go to spot to pick up my Bulgogoi and Kalbi Marinade. My family has fallen in love with Korean BBQ and this is my only place to get it when visiting home. The milk tea is also tasty as well.

Hannah O.

Yelp
I've been several times and have had a wonderful experience each time! Their rolled ice cream is superbly made every time and tastes delicious! They also have a wide variety of asian foods and a nice frozen section. The staff has always been professional and polite and I will continue to come back for a very long time!

Samantha D.

Yelp
I love this store!! I go there all of the time for bubble tea and mochi! Very nice customer service people! I always recommend people to come here for a change in flavor; they also have amazing asian candies that are so good. 11/10

Gerald H.

Yelp
Small, clean and orderly! real value items if you are learning to cook Asian! I got what I consider to be a real great deal on Garlic and Ginger! Lots of those little niche Asian items that can be hard to find! Great place!

Yelp
My Wife and I discovered this little gem of a market a few weeks ago and since then have been back multiple times. It's a small, but very clean and well organized Asian Market run by a very nice lady. Having lived in Asia for many years, I often want to prepare meals which require ingredients that I just can't find at local grocery stores. This shop is reasonably priced and very well stocked on spices, sauces, some fresh vegetables, frozen seafood like squid, mussels, baby shrimp. Everything from japanese candies to Korean Kimchi. We have visited a both of the other two Asian markets in the area (the one in Socastee is now closed), and as for the other one, in downtown Myrtle Beach - it is totally filthy, disgusting, and smells worse than a garbage pit inside. This great little Asian Mart is going to get all of my business....

ChowNut ..

Yelp
This place has a very limited selection of Asian goods, but probably more than one would expect in a town with few Asians. Get all your dry goods here and even some fresh veggies. Plenty of ramen noodle options.
