Miami's Best Grocery Stores - Miami - The Infatuation

"Asian-Mart is a great little market on Calle Ocho serving all the things you’d expect at a great little Asian market: snacks, candy, dumplings, noodles, soju, homemade kimchi, and lots more. But there's a bonus in the back of the shop: an excellent little boba spot called Hotline Boba. The Korean-style boba counter serves drinks like Korean banana milk, peaches and cream boba, Vietnamese coffee boba, and more. Asian-Mart also has an instant ramen bar—you just grab one of their options, fill it up with hot water inside the shop, and you can eat it on the go, or grab a seat in their backyard. " - Carlos C Olaechea, Ryan Pfeffer

Google
Asian-Mart is great. Nice mix of East Asian (Korean, Japanese, Chinese) products (mostly food). It is small but they stock most of the essentials. Staff are helpful and friendly and you can request items that are not stocked. There is also a ramen bar as well as a bubble tea bar (Sno Boys) at the back of the shop.

Google
Awesome place! A lot of Japanese products from candy, ramen, food, drinks and ice cream. All the food are neatly organized into different categories! They have a ramen station which is so cool! In the back they sell boba tea. Nice workers

Google
My kids and I love this place! They have alil of everything in there! Also a boba spot in the back. Love coming here after school with the kiddos for a snack! Roman, ice cream, chips, soda! Cool spot!

Google
Nice supermarket with a lot of products, they have a ramen making station that has a good selection and pretty good prices. you can eat it out in the back. the boba itself is decent but not that good.

Google
Little Havana needed an Asian Market. I got tired of traveling way down south and way further north for quality Asian snacks/groceries. Sure, I can roam through my local Ross and Burlington but that's not the same. The snacks sold are delicious and not expired unlike a few competitors I shopped from. The owner is great. Him and his staff keep the stock rotated. Love the snow cone! I miss the bubble tea but that's okay. The snow cone shop is great.

Google
Amazing customer service! The gentleman at the front helped me place an order on their website. When I went to pick up my order, he was extremely friendly and made conversation with me. 10/10 would definitely buy from them again and will tell others about this store.

Google
Love it here. Tons of snacks, ramen & fresh veg. Lots of sauces and good drinks. They make boba tea here as well.

Google
While the staff are nice, but as a shopper who was going to purchase hundreds of dollars of groceries. Mid shopping and They would not let me use the bathroom! So they lost me as a customer. I drove up north 10 miles out to another Asian market instead of having to find a bathroom near by while trying to spend money here.

Yelp
Five out of five stars, always! I come to Asian-Mart multiple times a week due to convenience, and I love their inventory. Located on Calle Echo, parking is really easy. While the shop itself is on the smaller side, it has everything I need--fresh Asian veggies, a wide variety of snacks and sweets on the shelves, frozen foods, and a stock of rice and noodles. There is even a ramen bar up front and a boba shop in the back that is open until 9pm. I want to give a dedicated shout out to the boba shop team--they were super nice in rectifying my order of matcha milk tea + tapioca boba + mango jelly. Service was super fast and friendly, and the jelly is made in the shape of stars (so cute!). There is something for everyone in this one-stop shop, and I often see non-Asian customers coming to get their Korean or Asian ingredients.

Yelp
Located in a predominantly Latin neighborhood this small Korean grocery store is the perfect gem. They have everything you may need from an Asian market. But there is so much more, there is a Ramen bar with an entire wall of variety to choose from, there is boba tea made to order in the back of the store and even a outdoor patio section to enjoy your meal or drink. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help and answer any question. Oh and the place is super clean. I have visited the store at least 5 or 6 times and everytime I come out with a smile and something new to try. P.S. Don't leave without trying their Soju....if you are over 21.

Yelp
I've bought this box of noodles in New York, Hawaii, Georgia, and Jacksonville and have never been charged more than $15. They charged me $35!!!! You are warned, this store may rip you off!!

Yelp
Came here for the bubble tea and kimchi restock. The items in this store are pricier than those you can purchase online but it's just 10 mins drive away from me so the extra charge to me is shipping and how long it takes. Sometimes they run out of items because it's a rather mid size? grocery store. They sell mostly snacks and ramen. Service wise, all the employees are very polite and friendly. If you are looking for an item, they will help you locate it and check in their system if they have it. If you bumped into the owner, you can ask him to order certain items. I was looking for Taro milk but they didn't have that flavor but then next couple of months, I started seeing them. In terms of kimchi I have tried their homemade kimchi but I still prefer the Bibigo brand one. I like Bibigo more, followed by Assi and then their homemade one. But I think their homemade one is much healthier. If you want more saucy ones, it's either Bibigo or Assi. I prefer my kimchi with a crunch to it and like more preserved. Their homemade one aren't as preserved as bibigo or assi. Btw Assi tastes sweeter to me. Bibigo one, I gave some to my friends to try and they told me it's really good, better than other kimchi they tried. In comparison to those that you get as banchan in Korean restaurants, these kimchi are less spicy in my opinion. The Korean restaurant ones that I have been to in Miami/Broward were spicier. Btw they don't have the Bibigo Kimchi on stock all the time. One time I went, they only had the Assi ones. And they don't have the Assi ones on stock all the time as well. I think the homemade kimchi, the staff told me they're good for like 3 weeks or something? I don't really remember, it has been a while. But the Assi one and the Bibigo ones has longer expiration dates since they're factory made and not homemade. So purchase the homemade one based on like your servings or else there might be too much for you to try to finish.

Yelp
Decent sized market. Shelves are nicely packed with savory asian treats. The register lady seemed helpful and pleasant. The back of the mart is a cafe' style set up where one may order a tasty boba tea with or without boba. There is metered parking on the street. I would go back and pick up the chips. The tea was just okay not the worst and certainly nothing to "Dear, Mom" about.

Yelp
Lovely place, homie, everyone is kind and very patient! The place is very clean, offers free parking on the side of the establishment. Always a good vibe to visit and stock up on my fave snacks! Literally the best little and well taken care spot where you can find definitely what you might be looking for if you are a fan of asian culture, food and snacks. Worth visiting if you are in miami! They offer boba tea as well ( Named: Hotline Boba ) fairly priced and everything is made right there on the spot! The place is right inside the market itself! 2 for 1 in the same visit. Once again... Lovely place!! I never leave reviews on places but I love them so much!!!

Yelp
So happy I found this place! Amazing selection, plus alcohol & meats which I haven't seen much of at other groceries. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I also appreciate that they had some drinks refrigerated, so I had a cold milk drink for the road. And the prices were amazing. Will definitely be coming back for all my asian grocery needs

Yelp
Yay boba AND SNACKS!!! If you've ever wanted to travel to Asia, don't go too far because this little shop has a lot to offer. Recently opened, Asian mart has plenty of snacks both salty and sweet, frozen goods, beverages, and cookware. But they also have BOBA!!! They do good pop-ups on the weekends like Korean BBQ. This is a super cute market packed with a full BOBa bar. Definitely check them out, support local businesses so they can thrive in a new neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and super informative, give them a shot!!

Yelp
Such a good Asian-mart, they have everything you may need. Great variety of noodles, chips, and drinks they even have a good frozen section. The staff is also really nice, the guys at the front were very helpful and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable for the products and convenience of having it right there rather than having to order online and wait. I didn't get to try their teas but if you're looking for boba check them out!

Yelp
What a lovely gem of a store! Very friendly and helpful. Found my ingredients to make matcha green tea macaroons and mochi donuts! Can't wait to use the ube for more pastries. Going to have to come back on a Saturday when they have food. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
There is now an Asian Market near Downtown Miami on SW 8th / Calle Ocho. For this Asian-American, finding California-grown Kokuho Rose Sushi Rice and other Asian Food ingredients has always been a long car ride. This morning I was needing Mochiko Sweet Rice Flour and Potato Starch for making New Year's Mochi. They had plenty of inventory and a well stocked supply of other Asian products. If you looking to expand your Asian Cooking Culinary Skills, you will only find what you should be using at an Asian Grocery Store. If you are going to try cooking with different Asian Rices, this is the place to find the different brands. The market is owned by a Korean-American/Puerto Rican Family. There is a free parking lot on the West side of the store.

Yelp
In all honesty, majority of the Korean & Asian restaurants in Miami are no bueno. I may be a banana (yellow on the outside & white on the in) but still as Korean who resides in Miami its close to impossible trying to satisfy the occasional Korean food cravings. But thank GOD I found this asian market. I just buy ingredients here & make my own @ home. It might not taste as good as the og but still better than the "Korean" food they call over here. Anyway, the store has majority of the Korean snacks, drinks, alc, & etc that you're looking for. They sell some ready made Korean food for those who refuse to cook and they do sell a lot of non-Korean Asian products in case you're wondering. They have a cute boba shop inside as well. All the employees are very polite & helpful. Not to mention, they have free parking which is a plus. In case you're wondering, yes I am showing off some of my creations. Very proud of myself & made with ingredients purchased at Asian mart. Love you mucho Asian mart.

Yelp
Yes!!!! Exactly what we needed in this part of town! Brickell/downtown Miami was lacking in the Asian supermarket department. But lucky for us we have the brand new Asian Mart! I'm so happy that they opened. They have a wonderful selection of your Asian needs. Reasonable prices. Fresh, non-expired products. We will be back here time and time again! Check out their fresh made kimchi!

Lesley-Anne L.

Yelp
Having an Asian market in this part of town has made me so happy! Not only are the items reasonably priced (for Miami), but the selection of items is top notch. This market is Korean-owned, super clean, and the owners are extremely kind and helpful. Before finding this place I would have to either 1. drive to Broward 2. bring a giant suitcase to fill with groceries from H Mart when I visited my family in Houston. Things I found that I usually have a hard time finding: 1. siopao in the freezer sections 2. Proper wrappers for spring rolls 3. Hong Kong style egg noodles 4. Sliced meat for hotpot/bbq 5. Bamboo steamers 6. Yuzu 7. Fried bean curd Another thing I really appreciated is that they asked me if there were any items I was looking for but couldn't find--they wanted to know so that they can curate better items, which is a super thoughtful touch!

Yelp
Wonderful to have an Asian grocery in the heart of Miami. Everything you would want, and good prices to boot.
google avatar

Yelp
Small, local grocery store focused on Asian foods and snacks. They got a bit of everything from fresh produce, snacks, staples like rice and noodles, condiments, frozen foods, desserts, beverages, etc. they make their own kim chi. It's delicious and comes in a glass jar. A bit pricey though.
google avatar

Jonathan I.

Yelp
Favorite boba spot and on Saturdays they have a food pop up. Got the Japanese bento box.
google avatar

Regina M.

Yelp
Amazing little market with a ton of Asian cooking essentials. I was able to get some delicious pastes , noodles, and veggies for cooking.
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. The owner is super friendly and helps procure items that are more rare to find if you ask him. May not be possible but he tries. It has all the usual sauces needed for asian cooking, and there are good quality frozen meats, frozen soups/pre-made meal, and all the snacks I could want. The most special item that nowhere else has though- is their kimchi. Owner makes them in-house. And ive been to asian markets across south florida- his kimchi is amazing
google avatar

Vilma Q.

Yelp
Excellent customer service. Kimchi was delicious. Great selections of products. All the items were very good.
google avatar

Dan C.

Yelp
A much needed store near the downtown area! Carrying a good selection of frozen items, dry items, as well as some veggies. Good spot for grabbing some frozen dumplings and great instant ramen noodles. Prices are pretty good and they have their own small parking lot right next to them.
google avatar

Yasira Q.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! It's perfect and has a little bit of everything! You can even ask the owner for specific items and he'll see if he puts in orders for them! There's always food variety and the Bona is always delicious! They even have collectibles and KPop items for sale! Great vibes and music. Never fails to be a fire place. Also, they have a noodle bar!!!!! I hope you love this little Asian mart and much as I do!!! 감사합니다!!!!!

Yelp
Clean organized and well stocked store. Very please staff!! I plan on returning often.

Yelp
Finally found the Asian grocery store I've been looking for since moving down here from NYC. Had everything I needed from homemade kimchi to all various Japanese pickles, ginger, Chinese chili sauces etc. They even surprised me with fresh Thai chili peppers which can be hard to find in New York (one suggestion here is they add the smaller tastier variety). Clean well-organized store and friendly family business. A great addition to the Miami food scene.

Yelp
This is my favorite store in Miami, they always have new stuff when Im there (almost every 2 weeks), the people that work there are always nice, they have amazing snacks, deserts, and frozen foods. My favorite thing is probably the frozen Assi pork dumplings and the Ramune strawberry soda which I highly recommend getting both. All i have to say is thanks to the Owner(s) is thank you!
google avatar

Margaret R.

Yelp
Finally an Asian market near Brickell! It's small, but has all the basic sauces, condiments, and frozen staples of an Asian grocer. Snack selection is mostly shrimp chips but pretty good. Plenty of dry goods and a small produce section. The nice man working when I went in was extremely receptive to suggestions. Delivery is available and can be found via their website.
google avatar

Yelp
Best place ever to shop the store employees are so nice and helpful also would highly recommend going here

Yelp
the most yummy and fun snacks! not much was overpriced and the man behind the counter at checkout was very friendly. just look out for the expiration dates on each item. overall was great and would definitely return.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Amazing. Great service and very yummy food. All of the people are so nice. Totally recommend

Maria F.

Yelp
Great store, has everything I need for cooking. Plus love the boba and the Sat night bento boxes by Bruce are excellent.

Yelp
Im really excited to have this in the neighborhood and can't wait to watch it grow! For now, this is definitely the spot for more trendy items. I didn't see any spices, soup based, and such that I usually see in the markets further out but this one is so new and I can see they're still building up stock! The guys at the front were super nice and helpful. Now what separates this one from other Asian markets in the area (and by in the area I mean 30 minutes away ) is that this one has way more Korean stock. The others seem to be mostly Chinese and Japanese. Another big difference is that it seems some of the stock is bulk which means the prices for something's seem way higher. I really hope they're able to expand their produce and freezer section! There were very few meats available and the prices seemed kind of high so hopefully that regulates too. I love eating Asian foods as it's usually full of delicious veggies and flavors so hopefully this place will have me stop driving 40 minutes away!

Yelp
Never thought I'd find an Asian grocery in little Havana after moving from San Francisco much less one that's so well stocked! Lovely staff & customer service !!

Em E.

Yelp
Well stocked, clean, and very friendly staff! Nice selection of dry goods, frozen stuff, and a few fresh vegetables and herbs. Bonus has easy parking

Yesenia A.

Yelp
This is a very very reasonably priced Asian market. The young man at the register was very welcoming and ready to answer Andy questions I had the location was very clean, organized and well stocked. When i was looking for some poppin cookin I asked him for help and immediately pointed me in the right direction. They have kimchi, assortment or soju and lots of bubbly soda. Give this place 5/5

Culinary H.

Yelp
Love this place! Great selection of dim sum and sake. Little boba tea bar in the back. Try the homemade kimchi!

Mitchell S.

Yelp
A little market which has most of what you need to try your hand at Asian cooking. Also, the staff was very helpful in locating items which I needed.

EaZy T.

Yelp
This is the best Asian market in Florida! I love Asian snacks and I didn't expect a place like this in Miami hope you continue to grow as a business.
