Asian Mint Addison

We tried the egg rolls, crispy dumplings, super spicy Pad Thai, and super spicy shrimp & basil chicken. Sadly, the food looked better than it tasted—visually stunning but pretty average in flavor. Not bad, just not as exciting as expected. We also asked for the highest spice level but got something closer to a 2/5. On the plus side, the portions were generous, the service was excellent, and both the indoor and outdoor atmospheres were really inviting. I’d definitely come back to try other dishes—there’s potential here.

This place has FABULOUS food. Do not leave without trying the chicken curry dish with noodles on top- it was absolutely DIVINE, i have NEVER been disappointed with a single thing at any of the locations, Chef Nikki and her MINT family are LOCAL TREASURES! We had amazing service from Giathi & Gib❤️

A fantastic place. With fantastic taste the food delights. For those eating low carb the 0 carb noodles are a real treat. They were also accommodating with allergy requirements. Fun drink menu to boot. Lastly, service was top notch, even bringing me a personal book light as I had taken out a book to read. Definitely coming back.

I ordered the Pad Woon Sen with Tofu and Iced Melon Green Tea. The food and drink were perfection! The servers were gracious and checked in with me several times. I was able to take leftovers home, including my drink. Awesome setting and great music playing in the background. I will definitely be eating here again to try more things on the menu. So many dishes to choose from. Beware that they are closed on Sundays and from 3 to 5 in the afternoons during the week.

I can’t believe I’m just trying this place! I LOVE it!! It’s so cute; the atmosphere is very chill, and the staff is phenomenal! Everyone’s extremely friendly and helpful, and they really care about your experience. The food came out super fast and it was hot and fresh and full of flavor! I was really impressed! We came for lunch on a weekday; it wasn’t slow but not packed either. They had a decent lunch rush, but they handled it well. The curry, fried rice, and drunken noodles are all delicious. The mango cheesecake was tasty too. I enjoyed every minute there; I’ll definitely be returning. 10/10 🔥

What a cute lil asian restaurant! Loved the food menu and the drinks too. We got the Pad Kee Mow, Coconut Thai Soup with Shirataki noodles, Spicy Thai Soup with Shirataki noodles. None of the dishes disappointed. The broth was amazing and the portion sizes are awesome🤩

This is the best place to eat in DFW. It really is crazy how easily it beats out all its neighbors. Their Tom Yum Soup is the ultimate pick-me-up, their rice is consistently perfect, and their noodles never miss. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s the restaurant that does everything right. Try the Pad Thai and the Pineapple Fried Rice. My days are always better with a sprinkling (or heavy portion) of mint!

Asian Mint has shown me that they can do something that is one of the hardest things to do in the restaurant industry, and that is to carry consistency across multiple locations. I recently tried this Addison location for the first time and that makes the fourth location I have tries and guess what, all four of their five locations have been great! I only have the Inwood Village location left to try, unless they keep growing faster than I can try them! I love Thai food and in my opinion, Chef Nikky is one of the best in the business. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her skills and restaurants. The number one thing that comes through in everything she creates is her love for what she does. In addition to being a great restaurantuer, she is also a great person. I had the pleasure of meeting her almost 20 years ago when she was just a few years in. It was hard not to get right on board with her enthusiasm. It has been delightful to watch her success over the years! The ambiance in this Addison store is similar in feel to the other stores as well. It is tasteful (no pun intended) and not overly done. There is beauty in simplicity. The food was great! The Egg Rools are always a wonderful start to any meal here. And for a low carb option for my main course, I enjoy the Pad Woon Sen, which I consider the best in the Dallas area!

I used to occasionally visit the Asian Mint on Forest Lane and Central, but it's been a long time. So when I visited this location, I was happy to see that the flavors were even better than I remembered. The restaurant has an elevated decor, so it's definitely a step up from a standard small restaurant- not dressy, but definitely sophisticated. I was in the mood for a simple crab fried rice, and Asian Mint delivered. It was a great meal and really hit the spot. The rice was seasoned delicately and the texture was very light and fluffy. There was also fresh sliced cucumbers and tomatoes accompanying the dish, so I got a nice dose of fresh veggies. This helped to balance out the meal and not make it so much of a carb load. Next time I will have to branch out and try some other dishes. Back in the day when I used to visit their Forest location, I only remember getting Pad Thai. My only complaint is lack of beverage options. I don't drink alcohol or soda, and I don't recall seeing much in the way of juice cocktails or smoothies, so water it was. The service was kind and attentive, and when we were leaving, the staff informed us that they were having an anniversary celebration and we would get to draw a number and select a prize. We got a Drama Queen branded packet of chili seasoning. Pretty cool!

Vegan review. I brought my family here for my birthday!! I love this place so much I wanted to spend my birthday here! I love how consistent their recipes are. Each location has the same flavors and tastes! They have plenty of vegan options! I always get the pad see ew with tofu! The noodle texture was so soft and gooey! The sauce was plentiful, and had plenty of vegetables! We also got the brownie with ice cream which in not vegan, but that's fine. It was a classic dish and was very chocolatey. There are two separate rooms, which is confusing, but that's ok. We sat in the first room which I think is supposed to be the patio when the sun is out. We were the only ones in this room while there were 5 other families inside. It was nice to have the privacy. We had a great experience and the staff was lovely! No issues! I love the food here, I will continue to come here in the future!

What a very cute place and the ambience is very nice. They have happy hour Monday to Friday before 6:30. $2 off apps, salads, and soups. The fresh summer rolls were really good with the peanut sauce. My sister and I split the Pad Thai See and it was really tasty. I do love the red curry here. Everything has been so tasty. Def one of my favorite places. I will be coming back

Strangely I've never been here before and I'm sorry I haven't. Everything about this place was wonderful if you aren't looking for a hip, chic place. They have an adorable little terrace area, decorated cute, food was amazing, service was very personal. Everything we had tasted amazing and price was remarkably reasonable for all we had. I will definitely be back.

Swung by for dinner to just pick up a quick order of Pad Thai and some Thai Tea. The place is hidden in a shopping center so I didn't even realize it was here. Servers were friendly, food came out quick and the place is clean and has seemingly big portions for the food based on the dishes I saw around me. I liked the Thai Tea, it hit the spot, just. The perfect blend of sweet and creamy. The Pad Thai on the other hand although it was nice and hot and flavorful it was too sweet for my liking, I ended up adding Sriracha chili to it when eating it at home. All in all I think is definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a milder Thai food. Not as authentic as some of the family owned restaurants that aren't chains. It would be good if they asked and could make levels of spiciness, that would definitely be a good add-on for them to consider.

We met friends there because it was in a great location for all, and the food sounded interesting. The restaurant is modern a lovely. It's quiet and easy to enjoy a great evening. You can eat inside or outside, and both are very nice. The food was so amazing. The flavors are bold and all of the food was so good. The menu has so many gluten free options. It's so nice to have more than 1 or 2 things to chose from. Gives us a great reason to go back. The service was amazing. We were never left wanting anything and the food came out so quickly. We will definitely be back.

While on a work trip, my team and I ordered from this restaurant via Door dash. The food arrived in a timely manner as it was still hot. My dish was really good and the portion was really good because I was unable to finish it. I. Kept it for the following day. We also ordered edamame which was well seasoned and filling.

While traveling on business, I ordered from here through Postmates for delivery. I really enjoyed their classic Pad Thai with chicken and tofu. It was definitely on the mild side and the flavor had more sweetness to it, but I like that they use white meat chicken and ingredients tasted freshly prepared. I also ordered the fried vegetable egg rolls, which were good too. Light and crispy, not too oily.

Consistently good with a cute ambiance. My favorites are the green curry, tom kha soup, papaya salad, and green basil fried rice.

DELICIOUS! Come enjoy the Thai Tea Extravaganza. Yummy Thai Tea Espresso Martini. Had some yummy Pad Thai as well. This is place to go for Thai fusion.

This is a convenient location, just off the Dalas North Tollway and Beltline The back right corner-cushioned booth was perfect for our dear friends dinner conversation for two. The lychee martini was perfect. We loved the chicken satay appetizer with peanut sauce. The orange chicken entree was delicious with brown rice on the side. For a Monday night it was full and the service was quick, friendly, and attentive. We enjoyed the leisurely dinner and cozy atmosphere and will definitely be back.

Stopped in for lunch. It was a great day to sit on the patio. We had the Pad Woon Sin without any protein, and the Pad Kee Mow with shrimp. Both were very good. My only complaint was I ordered medium spice and it seemed to be either no spice or possibly mild. So next time I won't know exactly what spice level to order as I think this was a mistake by the chef.

Parking is not the greatest if you're grabbing food to go but the food makes up for the inconvenience. I ordered the yellow coconut curry and steamed rice as well as the crab fried rice. Of the two, the curry was my absolute favorite dish. The crispy onions and the chicken are delicious with the creamy coconut curry. It blends. So well with the steamed rice. Ahh! I wish I had some right now!!! The service was quick. The vibes (from my brief time inside) seemed really chill. I'd definitely come here again for the curry and to try other menu options.

Beautiful atmosphere! Friendly staff. The food was outstanding!! I got summer rolls and papaya salad. Both aesthetically pleasing to the eye but absolutely delicious ! My husband got kee pow(misspelled) and meat was tender and flavorful. I cannot wait to go back!

I love Asian Mint! This was my first time inside the Addison location and it was super cute. It's much smaller and more intimate than the other locations I've visited. It was late at night but the ambiance was super nice and chill. I went 45 minutes before they closed and the servers at the bar were incredibly sweet and made me feel so welcomed. They even invited me to take my time and not rush through my meal and we had some great conversation. It was my very first time trying the Pad Thai here. I usually stay faithful to two dishes - the Pad Kee Mow (drunken noodle) and Yellow curry. The Pad Thai was good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I do their Pad Kee Mow or Curry. I'm glad we have this location in Addison - I will be a regular here for sure.

I came here at 9:05pm for dinner on a Friday and they were very strict that they close at 9:30pm which was fine. My friend and I wanted a quick bite to eat. It's located in a very busy plaza in addison off of belt line. Parking can be tight. This restaurant is very cute and they serve many gluten free and vegetarian Thai food options. I loved how clean the restaurant was and everyone was very nice. Ambiance is very peaceful and calming. I enjoyed every dish and they even let my dog sit with me while I ate outside on the patio. Overall great food, service and restaurant!

I visited Asian Mint because it's the only restaurant in DFW certified as Thai Select (certified as authentic by the Thai government). When I walked in, I was sketched out because they had chopsticks set out (typical Thai utensils are fork and spoon) and there were only non-Asians eating there. However, they subverted my initial impressions with their delicious and generous serving of Pad Thai. It was big enough for two people to share one. I also got the Lychee Ginger drink, which was very Asian-style, that is to say not very sweet. The waitresses were all very attentive and accommodating, especially for my gluten-free friend. The restaurant has plenty of seating with inside booths, sunroom area, plus outdoor seating. It's pretty quiet for weekend lunch, so walk-ins seem very attainable. I'd definitely recommend a stop by if you're in the area.

November 2024- First time dining here. Started with the edamame ($6.45) it was ok. For my main course, I had the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp ($15.45) and that was very good! Generous serving of noodles, shrimp and chicken. I would definitely return.

Pad Thai 10/10. They also have delicious veggie egg rolls and the chef has her own chili flakes that are also a delicious add on. We've been to several locations and all are nice,clean and welcoming. Staff is also very friendly at all locations.

Excellent service! Great place to take the family - staff is very friendly, food is reasonably priced (considering the area), and the food is also high quality! We ordered: Mint platter for appetizer Green curry with chicken Pineapple fried rice Pad thai with chicken Purple pea mint lemonade (the presentation was beautiful) We'll be back!

Latest price increase is just to outrageous for us to go back They've priced items like they are a fancy restaurant instead of a small row spot in a strip mall that borders on take-out/casual. $10 for a bowl of miso soup. A bowl of broth essentially. $27 for a plate of lettuce with a piece of salmon. It's gotten ridiculous if not offensive. We used to love eating there. I wish them the best of luck but we won't be returning.

Amazing Asian food in Addison. If you know Asian Mint, you know it means quality. The new location in Addison does not disappoint! Very well appointed ambiance with a great patio as well. The food is always delicious and service is great as well. I stopped by for lunch on a random weekday. I got the crispy pad Thai (with tofu) and my friend got a chicken dish. Both were tasty but we had to get the drama queen to top it off. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Asian Mint has created an amazingly vibrant restaurant setting with an incredible menu. The spot has a trendy atmosphere that feels very fun and puts you in the mood for a good meal. We tried the Summer rolls and Shrimp rangoos for appetizers which both were amazing. For entrees we tried the Crab Fried Rice and Yellow curry which were also perfectly seasoned and worth coming back for.

I like this place when I've gone to other locations. Tastes great, decent prices, good portions on their noodle dishes. But finding and biting into an actual rock in your food is... well not fun. Makes me wonder how they're handling the food in the kitchen if a rock can end up inside. Very disappointing.

Came here for lunch with some friends and it was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us often. I got the chicken wrap which is a salad but it was so good. They used cabbage as the vessel for the chicken, I was pleased with it. You can eat the chicken by itself too. I'll definitely be back.

The restaurant is very well decorated and modern. Everything is very clean and looks pretty. The service was good. The food tasted very good, primarily the Pad Kee Mow. My major criticism is that the portion size was extremely small and the curry had a very small portion of rice. I'm comparing it to the place that I go regularly (Best Thai signature) in which the quality and price are exactly the same ($13-14) but the portions are double the size.

I love Mint! I've been to the other location multiple times and finally got to visit this one. It's amazing at both and I highly recommend exploring the menu. The orange chicken has me in a hold but I've never had something here I didn't like.

It may not be far and away the best Thai food in DFW, but only because there are multiple Asian Mint locations. Always great food and friendly, helpful service

Randomly stopped in by myself and so happy I did! Will definitely be coming back. Great lowkey ish spot for dates, catching up with friends, or a nice quiet spot for lunch. Food -Seaweed salad: I always order seaweed salad when it's offered on the menu and I enjoyed it here, nothing super unique about it. It does have green dye in it like most places. Perfect salty side to the orange chicken. -Orange chicken: PERFECTLY cooked, lightly crisped chicken with minimal breading and you can actually taste the chicken, the broccoli was great as well. I am orange chicken obsessed and I think this might be the best orange chicken I've ever had! ONLY THING IS I wish there wasn't fish sauce in it, I personally don't like the stinky smell, I will try and see if they can leave that out next time. The taste was not affected by the fish sauce. Ambience So nice and relaxing! Love the vibes in the patio. I love small spots like this, it was cozy but still upscale! Service: everyone was so sweet and respectful! Checked in on me while I was on the patio. I wasn't aware I couldn't bring a drink and had a drink from lalaland but they said just FYI for next time and was understanding. Overall: For the service, location, cool interior, and amazing food the price point is well worth it to me! I paid $22 for my meal not including tip and I think it's reasonable for this area in Addison.

Great food, nice atmosphere. Patio is secluded and shaded. Asian Mint Addison is easy to miss because of its location.

If you're looking for Thai food while enjoying a chic and clean ambience while interacting with amiable staff, you can't beat Asian Mint. Having been a long-time patron of the other Asian Mint locations, I was stoked when the Addison location opened and it's definitely on my regular dinner rotation!

Best crab fried rice you'll ever have. The staff is top tier! Not only did I learn more about the menu/drink evolution but our server shared the restaurant history as well. Can't wait to return

Food was good except more protein should have come with rice dish. They put broccoli in my wife's did when she told them no broccoli. They did apologize and brought her some veggies

Visited Asian Mint for a family birthday dinner on a Saturday night. They gave us the small private room in the back which was nice. Our server was helpful and nice when we had questions about the menu. We enjoyed the food, my favorite was the pad see ew noodles. Bonus points because they don't use fish sauce, oyster sauce or anything and are able to make it completely vegan. Taking off a star because the girl cleaning up our table was grabbing our plates way too early. We were still eating when our plates started getting picked up. In fact she picked up half of our entrees of curries we still had left. Suggest waiting longer next time or asking people if they are finished.

I grew up in Southeast Asia and this was some of the best asian food I've had in the US. So good! The service is excellent too.

Wow, so impressed with the service, the ambiance, and all the dishes were absolutely amazing! I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants all over North America and Asian Mist is by far the best! I wish we had this restaurant in Vancouver!

So this place was a hidden gym I met up with a few ladies for our normal Tuesday night meet ups monthly. And I had no idea that this was going to taste as good as it did yes I remember this place and I love it we will be back.

I just want to start off to say that I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant considering that the menu sounds so good. The orange chicken and the pad Thai were the worst that we've ever had. The orange chicken was shriveled and had barely any sauce on it and the pad thai had no flavor at all. We didn't eat the pad Thai and told the restaurant that we didn't like it and couldn't eat it and they still charged us for it. Good luck if you decide to choose this restaurant because not only was the food bad but the service was awful as well. We waited 15 minutes to even get waters and before that nobody had even come up to our table to even ask us if we wanted something to drink for over 10 minutes.

Awful service. Terribly rude waiters. I asked for an edit and they said ok. Later made the order ready and said it's too late because they made the order. Refused to remake it. A Second item was also incorrect. Different noodle dish was sent to us. When I requested the correct dish they said it's too late... what? We paid for this nonsense...

I think I found my new favorite Thai place! We got the Drunken noodles (pad kee mao) which were so flavorful and saucy. They are not skimpy with the amount of chicken added which is greatly appreciated. The vegetable Massaman curry was also soo tasty and creamy and came with plenty of vegetables. The service was amazing, Gigi was so caring of our table. The shop itself is very thoughtfully decorated with a patio seating area. Overall, I will be making the 30 minute drive to eat at Thai place!
