I heard about this restaurant from a friend, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. First of all, let me clarify that the reason I’m writing this review is to let the restaurant owner know that running a restaurant means you must ensure the food served is safe and properly cooked. At the very least, the dishes brought to the table should be fully cooked. There were just two of us dining, and the server seemed unhappy that we ordered only a few items. It was our first time here, so of course, we wanted to try a few things first and wait for the dim sum carts to come around before ordering more. In the end, after being pressured several times by the server, we ended up ordering five or six kinds of dim sum. One of them was the pineapple bun—the dough inside was still raw, but I didn’t say anything. Then came the chive and shrimp dumplings—the vegetables were hot, but the shrimp was cold, clearly undercooked. I was honestly speechless. I really wonder—was it just bad luck with the chef today? Or is this a common issue? How can things be this unprofessional? I hope the owner can provide an explanation. Thank you.

This place serve traditional Cantonese dishes. Overall the dishes are overly seasoned with excess MSG. Otherwise all dishes are pretty good. Dining area is spacious and comfortable. Parking is very easy.

As a Sacramento native, I've spent years trying out different Chinese restaurants around town. While there are a few decent spots here and there, to a large extent, it's been a bit hit-or-miss...until now. After being invited to brunch at Asian Pearl Restaurant, I was simply blown away. From the very first bite, I could tell this place is something special. The dim sum and buns were absolutely phenomenal, and just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, we ordered the Peking Duck - easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and clearly made with care, skill, and attention to detail. You can feel the pride this restaurant takes in its food and service. From the chefs to the servers, it’s clear they are passionate about delivering authentic, top-tier Chinese cuisine. The experience was not only delicious but also memorable in every way. Asian Pearl has officially earned the title of my favorite Chinese restaurant in Sacramento. If you’ve been on the hunt for truly amazing Chinese food in Sacramento, you must give this place a try. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

05.01.24 11:30am On the way to South Lake Tahoe we stopped by for lunch at this awesome restaurant find! It's definitely more of a Dim Sum place for lunch as the HUGE restaurant's packed (all Chinese) patrons were mostly eating/choosing dim sum from the ladies serving them in the rolling carts. We had 2x Mongolian Beef dishes + Beef with String Beans plus we requested this dish to be made with the addition of black bean sauce (mom's fave) and which they made perfectly! We also ordered the Seafood & Chive Dim Sum in Egg Wrapper ($7.19=4ct=large, super filled w.plump shrimp=super delicious!) & beef tendon in broth (this was good but we probably wouldn't order it again due to wanting to eat all of their tastier dishes). Hot Tea was fresh and delicious too, came out in a clean large silver pot! All food was exceptionally delicious, clean, fresh, hot, very low oil, not salty, in fact perfectly salted, just a perfect restaurant, though they were PACKED on a Wednesday and so service could use some help though they were quite friendly. Mom asked how long the restaurant has been here and the gentleman in front said 11 years. Mom wishes this restaurant was in San Jose :(. We will be back!!! 05.03.24 Dined here again, ordered same items plus 2x orders of the seafood & chive dim sum & 2x orders of the shrimp & chives dim sum = dim sum is exceptional! We love the food here!

This used to be our absolute favorite place to come for dim sum when we came in from Reno. We were there yesterday, admittedly near 3:00, when they were finishing up dim sum and they were out of BBQ pork buns and custard tarts. We were served 1 plate of chive shrimp dumplings, that were on the last cart with all the other leftovers from the earlier diners. We ordered 2 orders of sesame balls, our favorite, and 2 orders to take back to Reno. When I bit into mine, there was all white rice flour and I asked my Chinese mom and uncle what that was because usually black bean paste fills the sesame ball. My uncle tried his and said it was uncooked dough. We sent our 2 orders back and said the middle was uncooked and when it returned, it was exactly the same, uncooked innerds. We said we did not want any of those sesame balls and removed the 2 orders from the to-go order. I surmised the price of black bean paste has gone up, so the balls are mostly sweet rice, but too thick to fry without the sesames becoming overcooked. The dim sum pork ribs were all bone and gristle but we didn't even complain about that. The $5.40 for hot tea was quite a surprise, but the worst was the bill. Everything we ordered was written in English, except one item, and when I asked the cashier what it was, she said the 4 orders of sesame balls. When I told her we returned them, she said, "You ate two of them, didn't you?" I was stunned because we bit into the sit down order and the to-go order to see if they were the same inedible sesame balls. She reluctantly removed the 4 orders, but how sneaky can you get? Unfortunately, this was the second bad experience here and have written it off. Perhaps they had a regular menu, but was never offered that.

Having grown up in Hong Kong where you get the best dim sum, I'm grateful to have found a place that does it somewhat decently. Is the quality on par with authentic dimsum? Obviously not. But it was close enough to still be an enjoyable experience, on top of the old school cart serving style which is hard to find these days. My only complaint would be the bbq pork in the baked buns and flat noodle rolls. They were prepared very differently from the usual kind. The flavour and texture were not great. Edible but strange. Similar with the Siu mai, it was fine but just tasted different to what you'd expect (if you've had the authentic kind). The best dishes from the meal were the wrapped lotus leaf sticky chicken rice, pan-fried turnip cake and steamed shrimp dumplings (har gao). We also ordered 乾炒牛河beef noodles and 蒜蓉炒豆苗garlic sautéed pea shoots to share with the group. They were pretty good. The egg tart was fine but there wasn't much flavour in the custard. Otherwise service and atmosphere was great. We got a table right away on a Saturday around 11am. Plenty of seating at that time. Parking was a little tricky as it was busy. Overall an enjoyable experience (this is coming from a Chinese!). Would come back to order the dishes we liked and try some other new ones.

Came here on a Wednesday night. I hadn't been here in like 10 years. Prices are pretty decent considering serving sizes (which are pretty decent). Apparently they have really good roasted squab here, which my grandparents like, but I personally didn't try it. The roast duck was good. Green beans with xo sauce and roast pork, chow mein had good wok hay. Overall was pleasantly surprised. It's a little run down. And it was like 79° in there. Service is good though. They even offered to switch out plates on a normal meal. No soup or dessert included if ordering for the normal menu.

I had tea lunch with a friend at the Asian Pearl. It is 11am - 230pm. Stockton blvd. near 65th Street. We were not asked what tea we wanted. We were served jasmine. It was fine, although there is usually a choice: black, green, mum, jasmine, etc. The dim sum was good. We ordered a variety and ended with egg custards for dessert. I took photos for your perusal. Tea lunch is usually for socializing or business, with slow eating and lots of talking!😬 Lunch at the Asian Pearl was authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced.$$ My friend was not Asian, and I would have liked to try the chicken feet(brown), seaweed, jellyfish, or pork belly.😋 It sounds exotic. Most people would like the neutral flavor and the different textures. However, he was able to try some different textured tofu skin, and a variety of different flavors. The egg custards were light flakey and to die for (a great dessert)! Mango pudding or red bean sticky balls could also be a good choices. We did not try those desserts today😕. The entry is flat for wheelchair or baby carriage access. There is plenty of free parking. The restaurant can accommodate lots of people! This restaurant was unfairly given a 3 1/2 star rating on Yelp. It is serving authentic chinese food (not americanized) in Sacramento's little Saigon area. Unfortunately, it is a drive from the north area. Yu Huang in Natomas is probably a bit closer, for those in north Sacramento. *Check out the photos. We had left overs to take home.

Having been here for years, can't say the best but in sac area it is the only one choice taste not bad.. but the price is much higher than others,

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick birthday lunch. We were seated quickly and offered tea without being told it came with a charge. Service felt rushed and pushy.. our server seemed annoyed we ordered light and kept pressuring us to get more. We ordered a few items, but one never showed up after 45 minutes. The food we did get was so salty it felt like a prank... I started to feel really sick and I realized some dishes were cold or undercooked, and even the tea cups were dusty. Plates were taken while we were still eating, which made the whole experience feel rushed and awkward.

Yelp
I haven't been to Asian Pearl for dim sum before--I usually come here for weddings or events. My family and I decided to stop by for dim sum, and the service was quick with a wide variety of dishes. Everything we tried was great, but I especially enjoyed the egg tart and roasted duck. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
The restaurant is huge with a lot of seating. The Dim sum was somewhat decent. Some are better than others like the roast duck and siu mai. I definitely had higher quality dim sum, but this does the job in hitting that craving I had. The pork spare ribs you could skip, nothing special about that one. Xao long bao is your typical XLB; doesn't really stand out as well. Chicken feet was somewhat decent, nice soy sauce flavor. I would highly recommend the roast duck here. It was by far the best dish I got here and it was super tender and flavorful. Service is your typical dim sum service; you would have to flag down a waiter/waitress. Good place to get dim sum if you're nearby Elk Grove.

Yelp
Favorite dim sum restaurant in the local area! Took my family here (15 ppl). They also loved it! This restaurant still offers cart service. Quality of dim sum is great. Fresh and tastes delicious ! You can also host banquets here as well. Would def come back!

Yelp
We are not strangers to dim sum, so we decided to try this place. It was so cold and windy outside, and they sat us by the door which froze us. That was very unpleasant. But this place was slammin'. They food never stops coming around. The workers are always busy. It is hard to understand what they are offering you to eat, but I guess that is how you try things. We have been to other dim sum places, and this one seemed a little more expensive than our normal place, and they didn't seem to have as much, unless those carts just didn't make it to us. What we did get, we enjoyed. It was a little far away from home to travel to, but if we go to that area, we would go there again.

Yelp
Food doesn't taste as good as if you were to dine in. The service is fast and friendly. Great for big parties. Dim sum on the weekends gets ready busy.

Yelp
It was once our favorite restaurant, but the overall experience has degraded over these years. The price is much higher now, some more than doubled, but the quality dropped to a level that is way below the previous perception. In particular, the simmered black bass doubled in price, but the quality dropped so badly, I can do way better myself. It was a mistake to go this time. Not worthy. There are much better choices.

Yelp
This restaurant is huge. Great for a wedding reception or a big event as they have 2 huge flat screen TVs and a kareoke machine. What I love about this place is that they push carts around with dim sum so you can see and pick what you want. That's rare these days as most give you a menu and you mark what you want. The service was fine. No complaints. The food was good and tasty. There was about 8-10 of us and everyone liked the food. I would come back here again. Highly recommend for authentic Chinese dim sum.

Yelp
Disgusting Experience - Never Again at Asian Pearl We were in the mood for breakfast and wanted something with lots of options, so we decided to stop by Asian Pearl for dim sum. I hadn't been here in a long time, and thought it would be nice to revisit. The food was okay--nothing impressive, definitely not something that would make me want to return. But what completely ruined the experience--and guaranteed I will never come back--was what I witnessed with the porridge/congee cart. A server was handing out porridge to a nearby table when a plastic spoon accidentally fell onto the floor. Instead of throwing it away like any decent restaurant would do, she picked it up, wheeled the cart to the back (towards the kitchen), and then proceeded to place that dirty floor spoon into the chopped green onion bowl on the cart--as if nothing had happened. Disgusting. I told another server who was pushing the cart around about what I saw. I had to repeat myself twice, and she still just ignored me and continued serving other tables--including ours--like I hadn't said anything. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. I've been dining out for over 20 years, and I've seen a lot--but this was outrageous. Basic hygiene was completely ignored, and the staff acted like it was no big deal. That is absolutely unacceptable. Ambience 7/10 Customer Service 5/10 Food -10/10

Yelp
I came here with a bunch of Yelp friends to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The place was already packed with diners and it was only a few minutes after opening. The place is ginormous! The friendly ladies came around with the carts. I'm sorry I was so busy eating that I didn't get a chance to take pics! The ten of us tried meat buns, Shumai, Har Gow, potstickers, chicken feet, duck, lobster noodles (special order), mango mochi balls, mango piggy, etc. You can also order food from the kitchen which we did for the lobster noodles. The service was great and the food was fantastic! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Asian Pearl is excellent. We knew by the mid to poor reviews that the food here was going to be good! (Dim sum restaurants are notorious for their questionable service but that aura of confusion makes for a more genuine experience, lol). No wait on a Saturday lunch for a party of 5, so we were promptly seated after calling in to check. The roast pork is excellent--especially for a dim sum restaurant. It tasted decadent and rich without being sickly overpowering. There was a healthy balance of fat to meat and the top was crunchy! I couldn't help but continue reaching back for it every couple table go arounds. It tasted fresh and not stale, which was rather unexpected due to the nature of dim sum sometimes. The portion was healthy and satisfyingly shareable. Good amount of meat on the pork spareribs which is my partners favorite. Beef rice roll left room to be desired. Chicken feet were tasty! Good balance of sweet and savouriness and cooked to perfection! Ambiance is like having lunch with your boisterous asian family like any other dim sum restaurant. The space itself is very spacious and can accommodate for weddings. Everything was clean and bright! This is a wonderful place to take relatives for lunch.

Yelp
This is one of the main places to visit for dim sum or for an Asian style wedding. There is a lot of space inside, so it can hold a lot of people for parties or large groups. The service is the standard Asian style service, it's either good or bad. Sometimes you'll get your request fulfilled, sometimes you won't. For example we had to ask multiple times, like about 4 times, for cups of water before we were given anything. For dim sum it can be a hit or miss with the restating carts because the first half of the dining experience we got many people passing us, then for the second half we didn't have anyone come by our table. Food is usually always consistent and never misses.
google avatar

Getinmybelly H.

Yelp
Quick seating, food is fresh and everything we had was flavorful. The staff here is also patient with indecisive guest.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here frequently for dim sum and for multiple weddings. We enjoy the variety of dishes they have. This is a popular restaurant and always busy so be prepared to come early or endure a long wait. With that, they have a big parking lot in this plaza but you may have to park further away since it's always busy. Sometimes service is decent and some days it's not. There are times where we have to ask for items multiple times because they're so busy. We also have to frequently remind them to not charge the whole table for tea since only the adults drink tea and not the younger kids.

Yelp
Visited on a leisurely Sunday afternoon; pre-11am tranquility turned into a bustling brunch spot closer to noon. The parking lot is a labyrinth, but hey, it's vast! Now, the service--requested a dipping sauce bowl, got a mini drama. The server presented regular bowls with an extra side of attitude. Not the spice I ordered. Enjoyed a decent meal, though the carts played hide-and-seek with our table. Also, had a "steep" revelation: hot tea comes with a $2-per-person price tag. Brew-tea-ful surprise, right?

Yelp
Food was yummy , the fish and lobster is highly recommended. The service was good too

Yelp
I completely agree with the person who said, "DO NOT EAT HERE." The food quality is bad, and the service is horrible. Yesterday (New Year's Eve), my family and I came here for dim sum, and we had to deal with a rude waitress. She was an older lady with short hair and spoke to us in Vietnamese with a northern accent. The dim sum came out very slowly, and there wasn't much variety. We asked for the fried shrimp balls, but after waiting 20-30 minutes, we gave up. The waitress told us we would be charged if we didn't stay and wait another 10-15 minutes. We decided to be patient and waited, but after another 15 minutes, no food came. When we asked again, the waitress had a bad attitude and told us to wait another 5-10 minutes. We decided not to argue with such an unprofessional person, but we will never come back here.
google avatar

Duane L.

Yelp
Surprised to find a dim sum spot that still push the carts around with the dishes. Most bay area spots have gone completely to ordering off a menu with a handful of dishes being walked around. They had most of the standard dim sum dishes. Even got some animal shaped dishes like the mango pudding. Def one to go to again

Jane Y.

Yelp
Really good food, also good service. Thursday lunch, quite a lot of people, mostly Chinese people.

Yelp
I haven't been here for a few years. Came here on a Saturday with some friends, 7 of us. We got here at 10am, when the place opens. No waiting. I think that would be the best time to come for any Dim Sum place. Dim Sum places are always busy on the weekends. You always end up waiting for a table. The Dim Sum was ok. Some dishes are good and some were not that great. I thought the Har Gow and Siu mi was ok. I've had better. These two dishes are the most popular dishes for Dim Sum. The Fried Taro was bland, no flavor. The Egg tarts was pretty good. The steam Char Shiu bow was not good. The meat was dry. When I think about it, Dim Sum places in Sac are hit or miss. They do some dishes well, some dishes are ok, and some dishes are not good. I haven't been to a place in Sac that everything at that Dim Sum tasted great. Service not great. I guess that is the norm for dim sum. If you need something, you always have to flag someone down. They don't check on you. They do come around clearing empty dishes, but nothing more.
google avatar

Cassidy E.

Yelp
I have been here MULTIPLE times for dim sum and for normal dinner and it never disappoints. I've gone in big groups and with just two people and the service is always the same. The workers are all very attentive and check on us a lot. They work very fast paced and always get your food to you quickly. The place is huge and recommended for events like weddings or parties. I would recommend this place if anyone is looking for good dim sum in Sacramento.
google avatar

Logan P.

Yelp
This is our go to spot within our group. Just gotta come here early enough to not have a long wait. They always have enough hot sauce for our group because we love hot sauce on our dimsum. Chicken feet, spare ribs, siu Mai all good.

Chris W.

Yelp
Certain dishes looked bigger but taste wise are not as good as before, beef tendons were bland and extremely oily, chicken feet were huge but seemed like is over steamed, beef chong fun had little fillings, portugees egg tarts seemed smaller, service was okay
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for lunch around 12 on sunday, it was pretty busy like most tables were full but we got one luckily. Uhh first the plates cups and chopsticks were like pretty dirty, like u can see stuff on it which wasnt the best "first" impression. The food overall was pretty mid lol. We tried a good amount of stuff and nothing was like super impressive or my favorite. Usually i like the salted runny egg yolk bao but it wasnt as good for some reason. The salty dimsum was pretty average too. We also wanted to try the durian puffs because we like it last time which was a long while ago. This time was honestly so bad. It look really good but it like didnt have enough sugar to balance out the durian flavor and jus like not enough sweetness, kinda bland. And the swan head was also not good lol idk if ur supposed to eat it or not. Service is whatever, dont expect like actual service because everyones busy walking around or with carts if food. But thats just how dimsum works. Uhh probably wouldnt go again unless like a very special occasion because dimsums not my favorite things to eat, also super expensive and not that filling unless u order alot. Our total for 6 ppl was 150$ for 19 dishes.

Yelp
Asian Pearl is now my go to dim sum place again for the last couple of years. The har gow, siu mai, chicken feet, are always on point. They seem to be the most consistent now in terms of dim sum flavor. Service is what it is for a Chinese place. If the service is good at a Chinese place then usually the food is not as good. It's filled at lunch with Chinese people, loud, and bustling as a good dim sum place should be.
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
Very good dim sum! They have some unique items. Staff pushes food carts around. Big place so we didn't have to wait for a table. Dim sum is fresh and warm. We came here Saturday at 10:45am. Service was fast and attentive. Parking lot is shared with other businesses.

Yelp
This is LA/Bay Area authentic Chinese food in the greater Sacramento area. Had Chinese New Year dinner here w/ my family, and it was fantastic. Prices were a bit high (they were also doing banquet style for the New Year), but the flavors and the dishes/selection were excellent. Overall great fresh seafood choices, not overly salty, oily, or greasy. They have menus in both English and all-Chinese here, so you know it's authentic and perfect for Chinese parents who are visiting from out of town. Huge banquet hall with plenty of seating. We made reservations but they honestly probably weren't necessary even for the New Year. It's a little closer than some of the restaurants in Elk Grove - definitely will save on our list.

Yelp
I was in the area visiting friends and they recommended Asian Pearl Restaurant for dim sum. I went on a Sunday morning. Although there are many parking spaces, it was difficult to find a parking spot. I had trash from the car and there were no trash cans at this plaza. I'm just really surprised that there is no where for you to throw trash. We were seated right away for a table of four. I rely on my friends who speak the language to help with ordering. It was nice to see carts with food vs. ordering from the menu. Sometimes they can't hear you so be sure to speak up if you want something from the cart. After trying all of these dishes I must say the flavor is lacking. Although I didn't love the food here, the local seems to love this spot.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is huge, clean and decent selection of dim sum on traditional push carts. I've been there twice and the wait was very short for a table. That's always a bonus when you are hungry.

Yelp
This place is very popular amongst the Asian community and you know that it's the real deal when most the restaurant tables are filled with asians. Sometimes the food is a hit and miss but because we went on a busy Saturday afternoon, all the dishes came out super hot this time! The Siu Mai, Lo Saa Bao, and pai gwut, was delicious today. They also try to add in new things like a crème brûlée but it tastes like a Portuguese egg tart, without the crust ahaha. I would recommend that if that's what you're into! Just don't expect nice service, they just want to get things done and will do it efficiently. I have no problem with that since they do it well. As for costs... I broke down what I ordered and it's as follows: Hot Tea: $2 a person E: $5.88 F: $6.68 K: $8.58 This time around it was $28 a person before tip! It's still a staple restaurant in the Sacramento area.

Yelp
Came here with a couple friends cause we were craving dim sum, so we got some. Drove 2 hours for this place and honestly did not disappoint. We were seated right away since we got there when it first opened. Keep in mind this place does get busy cause there was already a line before it even opened. After we were done eating the parking lot was full and it was a big lot. Dim sum here is very good. We had a whole variety of different stuff. My favorites here are the ham sui guk, and the green tea black sesame balls. But you can't go wrong ordering anything here. Very solid place and the service was good too. Will forsure be back here if we're ever craving dim sum again. Also inside is huge, but like I said this place does get popping.

Yelp
Asian Pearl, imo is one of the better dim sum spots in the Sacramento area. First off, a large parking lot is always a plus, but it's not the nicest area. I've seen some broken glass on the ground, so be careful, as you should be everywhere, of what is visible in your car. The times I've gone have always been early, so I haven't had to wait. The restaurant is pretty big with so many tables inside that could fit a ton of people, but I've heard late weekend mornings get super busy with long waits. The dim sum carts come by often enough, but for any other service like to make a special order or just get some more water or tea, it can be tough to flag someone down. The food tastes pretty good and is more affordable compared to other Sac spots. I still miss NYC dim sum, but Asian Pearl will have to do.

Yelp
Probably the busiest dim sum place of all places in Sacramento. My family are Hong Kongers so dimsum is a must. If there's a HUGE line, my advice is to stand in line immediately when you walk in. The line is to put yourself on the waitlist. Extremely busy. But busy is good right? Dim sum came rolling out super fresh and in good enough intervals. I had to call for service several times since it was busy, they forgot to serve us our drinks in the beginning. Familiarize yourself beforehand with the common dim sum dishes so you can point to what you want as the English spoken there will be minimal. Also, get good at flagging down the people with carts if your table gets missed. My utmost advice to you is to check your stamp card and see if they correctly stamped the right amount of plates you've gotten. They actually gave us more stamps than the dishes we've gotten but we got it situated when we pointed it out. Just remember to be courteous about it. The dim sum was good, the presentation for the most part was amazing and most items were in stock. My favorites would have to be the har gow and the char siu baos. Char siu baos are the best I've ever had. They do have cute mango pudding, enticing enough for kids to grab. I believe if you want more of the fried items like the fried shrimp balls, you have to request it to be made. If you are seeking dimsum, it's best to come during noon. It's uncommon for dimsum to be served after 3pm so it's best to come before then. Best enjoyed with a crowd.

Yelp
3.5 star. Dim sum was pretty decent. The cart ladies come by often but didn't have all the ones we wanted so it took several tries. Service wasn't bad. We usually get all the common ones, har gow, pork spare ribs, shrimp rolls, bao buns, sui mai and chicken feet. Sui Mai wrap was a little dry and you can see it. Chicken feet were good. The spare ribs had taro or potato thingie that I didn't like. Overall damage for 3 people was about $60. Place was packed on a Saturday noonish but no wait.

Yelp
came here with some fam and shi and honestly it wasn't too bad. most of the stuff was really flavorful n shi. the chicken feet here is buns tho. wasn't really fw it. just the flavor of it was weird to me imo. nah but one of the ladies on cart rolling duty had some of the greatest natural skin of all time bro. i was tryna figure out her skin care routine but like she wouldn't roll her cart back to our table man... so that shi twisted n turned my gears bruh. like just let me get that skin care routine bro! nah but no makeup and the skin was silky smooth like a baby's bottom. if ur the cart roller gorl, please reply back with your skin care routine bc that shi was fr fire asf. highlight of the meal honestly. nah but overall food here is just very mid. don't expect too much when you come here. oh yeah this shi also made me blow my guts out the day after too. like before i went to the gym next morning, i blew my guts out TWICE!!! like god damn. i wouldn't trust the water here fosho tho. oh and the tea we got was good. idk what it was since the uncs ordered it but it was fye

Yelp
We love coming out for the dim sum carts! Had a table of 7, came out to be about 30.00 dollars per person when our tab arrived. They added a surcharge for large party. Arrived around 12 noon on a Sunday and the place was packed. Had a short 3 minute wait before we got a table. Dim sum arrives hot and ready on the carts. They move fast getting the orders in.

Yelp
Elders wanted to meet up and eat dim sum... and they like Asian pearl.. so we are here.. Food was good, some stuff were kind of warm. Ordered all the typical dim sums. The one that I like the most was the scallop shrimp dumplings. Service was good, and fast. The only thing that was bad was that toward the end when we received the bill was doubled lol. We had 12 stamps but charged 24.. we were like "I don't recall eating 24 dishes". They gladly look at the check and changed it back to 12 dishes instead, we were able to save about $130 before leaving the restaurant. Tip: always check your check before paying!

Yelp
First time to dine here. The ambiance was good. There's plenty of available parking space too. We were seated immediately upon coming in and the servers were prompt, efficient and nice. We dined for dinner and ordered different dishes. Unfortunately, the Thai style chicken feet was served cold. We were not informed it will be cold. Anyway, it was flavorful but cold and hard to chew. The combination seafood chow mien, string beans, chinese broccoli, siu mai, rib eye steak with tofu and broccoli and shrimp ball were all delicious and flavorful. The chicken wings lacked flavor though and their chili sauce was not spicy but salty.

Yelp
Very rude staff, would never come back, they don't give you what you order. Expect you to pay more. They also ignored us.

Yelp
We came back for Sunday dim sum and found the service slower than usual. Near the end there was a about 10-15 minutes when no carts came by. Earlier I asked the waitress if they could bring out some bbq pork steamed buns but they never came. I compensated by eating 3 of the Dutch crumb custard desserts. The other dumplings, siu mai, and beef short ribs were very good.

Yelp
PLEASEE DO NO EAT HERE !!! Service is sooo bad, staff is rude! Most of the food advertised won't come on the cart nor do they have it at lunch service... came to me 3-4 times saying they're out of something and it's only 12 in the noon.. When paying the bill, the server asked " no tip" & kept pressuring me to give tip, when service was TRASH!! I said no & they kept trying to argue & ask for a tip ! Now that she asked for a tip, I def didn't leave one after that and I usually always tip. LOLL DO BETTER !!! Don't spend ur $ here !

Yelp
Haven't been here for a while too for dim sum service. But it was good to revisit. Came here July 3 2023, there was a 30 min wait for 2 people. We got sat in the back near the restroom. . The carts were flowing around the restaurant. It didn't really come near us in the back often, so we had to flag them or ask server for items we wanted. Workers were rather talking then checking up on the tea pot, so we had to flag people down again. . Some highlights of what we had is mentioned below. . Beef meat ball - steamed and big pieces. Great with Worcester. I think I like well season beef meat ball more. It's more chewy and bouncy texture. . Shrimp chives dumpling, the crystal wrap was kinda on the mushy side. It's like like mochi chewy the way I like it. The stuffing was good flavor and perfect ratio with shrimp and chives. . House special dumpling, crystal wrap is same not chewy enough texture, it was more on the mushy soft side. The inside is great flavor and fresh. At least the temperature was served hot, the way I like it. . Shrimp rice noodle steamed, this is great, soft, fresh and drain it with lots of savory sweet soy sauce because it's amazing for a dim sum dish for me. . Chicken feet - was meh the flavor was not garlicky but it was ok, nothing like wow. But if you like chicken feet get it. . Shu Mai- is good size, fresh, steaming hot, flavor is good too. Texture was good too. A definitely solid no Brainerd must try. . Salted egg yolk buns / bao - these were good. On the first bite it ooze out, so it might drip so it's juicy and good. . Bbq pork bao, always the presentation and color of the baked bbq bao just gets me. It's best paired with hot tea during dim sum. I like the ones served here and at well season dim sum too. . Overall we liked the food. Just that it does get busy here and parking does get full, even though the parking is big but yea. Get here early and avoid the crowd on weekends. Hope this review helps and have a yelptastic day!

Yelp
Honestly the food here is amazing I don't know why there is such a low rating. The people here are so welcoming and warm, it makes you feel like you're not a stranger here. The space is big and great for parties and I always enjoy coming here for dimsum or dinner!

Yelp
My fav for dim sum in Sac. Always creative with new items you don't see other places. My favorite has to be the green tea mochi dessert with black sesame inside.

Yelp
The food was decent. Nothing stood out but solid decent dim sum variety. The place is HUGE with a lot of tables/seats available. The food carts came by frequently. The service from the people pushing the carts was pretty standard for a dim sum place but the service from the one lady who appeared to be managing the floor was horrible. Her tone was short and rude and she would often ignore our requests (water, tea, more napkins) or just put some on the table with attitude. I considered giving the place a 2 star review based on her service alone but decided the food was pretty solid. She just made it a bad experience and my family will probably choose a different dim sum place next time.

Yelp
Fried rib tastes salty. Charge you for tea even if you don't order. Lots of dim sum carts around you at lunchtime.
