Aslan Brewing Tangletown

A gem in Tangletown! Elevated and flavorful food- super high quality and kind of surprisingly good for a brewery (meant in the best way). We loved the crispy fries with dill. The pork chop was also delicious and so was the apple kale salad. The space is cozy and we were glad to get there early to snag a booth to play a board game while we ate dinner. There was a mix of families and friends eating dinner, so definitely kid friendly (fyi-not a lot of space for stroller storage, so keep those at home). The friendly staff told us the menu changes seasonally. We are excited to return!

Really good spot . Opening day ! Super busy but the vibe is excellent 👌 the beers are great! You know the brand by now .. and if you don’t know .. well you should ! . The place is small but intimate , in a good way…. booth, bar seating , stand up tables AND sun facing outdoor seating ! Full bar and great choices of beers . Food is somehow excellent , not that I was hoping for less .. but really fresh, and tasty , so .. YES ! It’s a great spot ! Did I say it was kid friendly too! Good job guys .

Lively new spot from Bellingham’s popular Aslan Brewing—just a quick hop from Fremont and Green Lake. Similar modern-chill vibe as Fremont, with a standout seafood-inspired menu and clever speakeasy-esque cocktails served by friendly, skilled bartenders. Perfectly relaxed yet upbeat atmosphere—ideal for casual meetups, families, or post-Green Lake adventures. The food comfortably elevates classic pub fare (think oysters, shrimp cocktails, fish & chips). Easy parking nearby. Highly recommended!

Came in for a dinner with family and we loved it! $10 happy hour cocktails😍 the chicken dish is cooked perfectly and presented over a bed of butternut squash bisque and chard and was the winner for me. Overall great vibes, excellent staff & delicious food.

I hosted my 37th birthday here and I can't recommend hosting your event here enough. Nevan was wonderful to work with and made sure that everything went smoothly. They even created a signature cocktail for the event based on my favorite drink. The food was delicious. The drinks were tasty. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. It was hands down one of my favorite birthday parties to date. Thanks Nevan and Asaln Brewing Tangletown!

I liked this place before and the servers are great but I can't get over how bad the pasta and clams was. For $26 you get about 12 clams which were fine, but then the sauce just watery butter and the "pasta" was about 6 noodles that were undercooked. I was still very hungry after this "entree"

We finally made it to the new location in Tangletown. It is just a couple of blocks from our house. I was excited to read the menu was a Ethan Stowell collaboration. We were disappointed by the food. We had the pan-seared chicken and the fish 'n chips. The chicken itself was nice, as was the butternut bisque it was sitting on. The chard was awful. It was 90% stem and very fibrous. The C-shaped slices of delicata squash were so undercooked you could snap them. There were two pieces of fish in in the fish 'n chips. They were overcooked, one was rubbery and the other was inedible. The crust looked rather dark, like it had been forgotten in the fryer. The service itself was otherwise quite lovely. We were there with friends and nobody likes to make a fuss, so we left without saying something. I have been regretting that for a couple of weeks. I hope the disappointing food is an aberration, and they are close by, so I will probably give them another shot.

No TVs! A drawback for some but a blessing for others, like me! Great food, we had the beet frisee salad nicely balanced not overdressed, and the clams pasta, which was in a super delicious garlic umami spicy broth. Nicely paired with lager suggested by helpful friendly staffperson. Overall prices on par with other Seattle breweries. Highly recommend:)

Lovely addition to Tangletown! Just had fries, olives and a beer but want to come back and try rest of the menu! Service was prompt and friendly, and it was nicely decorated for the holidays.

Aslan is the perfect brewery spot for a mixed group or a date night because not only does it have Aslan's great beer, but a full menu and a lineup of other great drink options including craft cocktails, natural wines, kombucha and non-alcohol options. The food is seafood-focused but with other options if that's not your jam. I like the salads, the dill fries (not in a shared fried for your GF friends!), and the macaroni and cheese in my latest visit. In the past, we've had clams and oysters too. (Double check their menu online before you go as it gets updated!) Note they have a great deal on oysters during their happy hour M-Th (other happy hour deals are every day). The staff are incredibly warm and friendly. They cover a lot of ground but we never had to wait too long for service. November/December note: They are all decked out for the holder! Festive and cute, not over the top. Check it out!

Staff were amazing. Food was yummy. Everyone has fun! Will go back. We all had a great time!

Great service, beer, and food! We came in on a Friday afternoon, and were able to find a nice table by the window. We got a WC IPA and Brown IPA that were delicious, as Aslan usually is. The adult grilled cheese and fries were AMAZING! Highly recommend if you are a fellow grilled cheese lover. Definitely a great edition to the Seattle beer scene!

We've been here 5 times since it opened and have tried a lot of the menu (which keeps changing a bit). We really like the Adult Grilled Cheese, the Fish & Chips and the Kale and Apple Salad. The new clam pasta is amazing. Beers and kombucha have been good too. For the times where food arrival was late or someone was a bit late getting to take our order, they have comped meals/drinks, which was really nice. Fun atmosphere and nice that you can bring kids too. I hope this location lasts!

Fries slap, cocktails slap, service slaps. Fun neighborhood spot would recommend for anyone visiting tangle town that wants somethin good

TangleTown is a well established neighborhood. This is a new place that has had two or so failed attempts at restaurants/bars. I predict this place will fizzle out also. The food is so-so and the service depends on who waits in you. The female servers have been great but the guy behind the bar has zero personality. He might be one of the owners, not sure. Anyway-this place is just ok. That's it.

This is a great place with fun vibes and good service. I live in the neighborhood and have seen many different restaurants in this space over the years. Aslan is a keeper and I hope they survive. The beer is excellent and the happy hour and dinner offerings are delicious. My picky wife thought the oysters were wonderful. I had the fish and chips and they were fabulous. Come here for a good time and great food.

Had the best time! Izzy was our server and she was amazing. Super knowledgeable about the menu and loads great recommendations. Definitely stop by for great cocktails, Sterling made us drinks on a different night and all of them were fantastic.

Pretty rude staff! If you want to get a burger from Lil woodies and want to get a beer from Aslan, they will not let you. Seems like a missed opportunity.
