Aslin Beer Company - Herndon

Went there to grab beers and snacks. Tried three IPAs and fries. There's plenty of seating, easy way to order and quick service. The IPAs were ok.

I've had some Aslin beers from the store, and was excited to find their brewery nearby. And it rocks! Tons of beers on tap, plus cans to buy alongside swag, and an expansive me u if tasty eats, from chicken sandwiches to butter noodles for the kids to pizza and even a coffee me u. And old school arcade games, alongside board games and other events. Super neat place

We hosted a company private Happy Hour at Aslin in Herndon in the taproom. Annie was super helpful in scheduling our event and what food and how much to order. The food was amazing and came out as planned and on time. Caesar and M were behind the bar and helped those that were not sure what beer to choose pick the right beer while never having a line. It was a great private event while not feeling closed in yet open and hope to do this more regularly . Thanks Aslin!

Aslin is located in the downtown heart of Herndon. It is a combination of brewery and restaurants with rooftop access and an arcade. It was my first time here with a family member who decided he would treat me to dinner. How could I day no; however, when he mentioned the name Aslin, I was like, what is that? He explained it's a place where the Honey Hot pizza lives. I was convinced. If want crowded, but they're were steady traffic of people out with their friends and family to get something to eat and drink. We ordered our food and went to the roof, which has a cute of historic Herndon. Anyway, it was windy, but the moon was out, and the atmosphere from the employees and the patrons was friendly and enjoyable. Now, lays talk about the food. We ordered crispy Brussel sprouts, perrogies, and the honey hot pizza. First, the Brussel sprouts were amazingly crispy and spicy, but rich in flavor. The perrogies were like the traditional Russian comfort one would expect; meaning it was delicious. Finally, the pizza. The honey hot pizza was like the traditional New York pizza in use to in that the bottom had the patterns of a semi thin bottom and crust. The flavor was a combination of hot and tomato sauce that had to be eaten while it's hot or the experience was lost. And I mean that. If you order hot, eat it right away to get the best out of this pizza. I will admit that between the two of us, we couldn't eat everything except the Brussel sprouts. So go visit Aslin with an appetite and expect friendly service at a moderate to expensive price tag. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and by now, you should know I enjoy food and good service, so give this place a chance.

Honestly I’ve heard a lot of rave about Aslin. We decided to dine in their outdoor seating. We ordered via the barcode and our entrées (nacho fries and vinegar Brussels sprouts) came out in minutes with our drinks! We were pumped the fries and Brussels sprouts were fantastic! Very flavorful and fun shareable item. But we straight up waited over an hour for the pizza to be brought out. During that time our drinks were never refilled by the waiter. By the time the pizza came out we were kind of ready to leave. The pizza was fine, pretty average but the ricotta was a nice touch. Pretty chill vibes. We might be back.

I used Aslin's Herndon taproom to host the "after party" after my wedding and it was everything I hoped for! You just pay a small fee for the space and have a food/beverage minimum to hit and then you get the space all to yourselves. We had reserved the rooftop but due to rain, they were able to shift our event to the indoor taproom and avoid any disruption to our event. The catered food and drinks were all great and there was plenty of staff there to make sure no one was waiting for a drink at the bar. Annie, the private event sales manager, was super helpful and responsive leading up to the event, and then Maddie, Molly, and Brandy were all working our event and did an excellent job! Would 100% recommend Aslin Herndon to anyone looking for a fun spot to host a private event.

Great drinks and food! I bring my laptop here to work on projects sometimes. I recommend the white pizza or smashburger, both are fantastic. Big fan of the Old Town Lager on draft, too. Love this place!

Appreciated the separation of the tables from one another. That's important in these crazy times. Really enjoyed their IPAs and was glad that there were tents over the tables block out the sun and the rain. Edit: First time back since original review. Love what they've done with the place. The food was incredible and the beer was as tasty as ever.

Easily my favorite bar. The beer is creative and flavorful, the pizza is great, and the ambiance is really what I come out for. I mean, how many bars would you say you're equally comfortable meeting up with colleagues for happy hour AND bringing your dog and elementary school kids? It feels like a classy watering hole, kind of like a tailgating venue, and an arcade all in one. Pretty unique place.

Absolutely ridiculous prices for a salad. I don't mind paying for a substantial, interesting and flavorful salad , but the arugula salad definitely missed the mark. I added a burger for an extra $6 which was the equivalent of a Mc Donald's hamburger. The salad was fine if you're a goat as it consisted of arugula, four tiny pieces of beets and maybe three green cauliflower pieces. The feta aioli served with it was maybe a tablespoon. Final total for the salad- $19.99. Crazy- never again.

I actually don't drink alcohol, but my husband enjoyed some beer. The food was good, nothing too notable. The ambiance was fun and people were friendly and met our foster pup. Enjoyable!

Completely forgot I've been here before (thanks, Yelp!), but my experience was a lot different this time. Customer service was top notch, and their selection of beverages was plentiful. Changing it from getting beer, I decided to get a slushy. The "Str8 Cash Homie" was pretty tasty, and just what I needed for a few hours on my bike. If you have the chance, give them a try!

For a neighborhood beer garden, this place was okay. We sat up at the roof top and there wasn't music and the string lights never came on. We had the Gouda pizza and it wasn't great. The service was good though. The bartender was friendly and nice enough to swap out our pizza with just a regular cheese pizza but it still wasn't good and we ended up tossing it.

Great gathering place in old town Herndon, including a dog-friendly patio. Staff were so friendly and kind and multiple people made sure to offer our puppy a water bowl. Ample beer selection including seasonal stouts on rotation, and numerous IPAs and Double IPAs for those into that. Get delicious bar food or coffee at Izzi, across the patio with QR code ordering.

Haven't been to Aslin in 7-8 years and they've come crazy far since they were running out of a garage door in a business park! Didn't get to try their coffee or food this time but it looked awesome. The staff was fantastic and helpful; answering all the questions we had and giving recommendations. I really want to try their pizza next month eventually. It's expensive, but pretty huge. The taproom is huge and operates as a coffee shop the whole day. Really relaxed diner vibe like a neighborhood pizza joint in a shopping center. Just a bougie version? Had their pumpkin milk stout and it's one of the better pumpkin beers I've ever had. Not chemical at all. Took their solid flagship milk stout and gave it a nice backend of pumpkin. The squash gave it even more of a silky mouthfeel. 9/10 I'm a sucker for barleywine and theirs is amazing. My only regret is that I don't live around here so can't get their bottles more regularly. Not too sweet, not astringent, perfectly balanced with vanilla and nutmeg. 11/10 Hopefully I'll visit NoVa again here soon and get to grab a bottle.

We came in for a lunch after riding on the WO&D trail. They were easily accessible from the trail/parking. There are a ton of spots to put your bike inbetween the two buildings (Aslin & their food side). Mid-day there were plenty of open tables both inside and outside. There were 4 dogs visiting, so they are definitely dog friendly. The beer was great (we ordered the IPAs) and food was also good. We had the pizza and fry-chos. They do offer high chairs if you are dining with younger children. They also had an arcade area that some older children were enjoying while waiting for their food.

The drinks are fairly priced, unique and taste great! I've tried different odd combinations that I didn't know if I would like! I tried the fries as I wasn't too hungry but it was good! I definitely will be back to try out more

Great beer and very friendly service! The space itself is quite large and can accommodate large groups both inside and out. I wish they served flights, because I wanted to try a wide variety of their brews, but they did let me taste some before picking out my half pours. You can order food from the restaurant next door, and their pizza is pretty good (high praise coming from a new yorker) - my friend and I split a pepperoni and hot honey pie and it had a good balance of flavors. Only wish there was more pepperoni!

Honestly, this place is solid for beer. I first heard about this place from my older coworkers who rave about their beer and expansive and changing drink menu. The pizza also always goes great with any of their beverages (although the food themselves is pretty standard). The outdoor section is lively and spacious and is shaded. It's the perfect spot to relax, drink, eat, and talk with friends. Although I'm not a connoisseur of beers, their wide selection and friendly atmosphere will entice me to come back.

Was in the area all week for a conference, and we all made ample use of Aslin for some much-needed refreshments and good times. We were grateful to find a place to host such large groups. The building itself is pretty cool, with two buildings, a large beer garden area outside, and even a really amazing rooftop deck! Parking was fairly easy, with one big lot in the back, though it fills up quickly, and we found it a bit tricky to find parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. The beer selection here is excellent, and all of them really hit the spot. Clear Nights is a very good WCIPA. How Now Brown Cow is an absolutely delicious Pumpkin Spice Stout. Full Basic is a dark lager that might have been my favorite of the evening. The Bird Leaf is a very refreshing Pilsner. And whatever watermelon sour they had on tap (I forget the name) was mind blowing! There is also some very good food selection here. The pizza looked excellent, but I stuck with apps and sandwiches. The cheese curds were ok, though a bit overcooked. The pretzel is always a good choice. And the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was quite good, though a bit bland in the spice department. But no matter what, this is quite nice pub fare, and nobody left hungry, I can tell you that. Prices for everything, food AND beer, were quite reasonable, too. The service here was very good. The bartenders were friendly, prompt, and did a great job managing what was a very packed house. Most of the ordering is done via QR codes on the tables, where you scan it, place orders, and it is brought to your table when it's done. Whatever software they use for opening and adding things to your tab works quite well, though it has a hiccup where if you go to the bar to order, it will open a second tab, and you need to make sure to have the staff close out both for you. All in all, I was quite happy to have made Aslin my sort of hang-out while on this trip. I think beer hunters in DC should scope them out. And I will for sure keep them in mind when next I pass through the region. Cheers, all!

The sours here are amazing! I also know the sours here are good if my fiancée actually enjoys it because normally he does not like sours! The buffalo chicken fries and buffalo chicken pizza are also our food favorites! The service here is always amazing!

Come for the beers and stay for the food! Aslin started in Herndon and expanded in Alexandria. The original brewery location has that cool ambiance with great beers. Volcano sauce, a sour beer one of my favorites and the food option really convenient as you scan and order! Chill service as you just order via your phone and/or go up to the counter for some beer tastings. Came here for a quick business lunch with another Realtor and a great place to go for business or pleasure!

From beer to pizza and more, this needs to be a must stop for family and friends. Excellent selection of high quality craft beers along with high-quality, fresh and delicious tasting pizzas. Started with the fried cheese curds with house sauce and fried Brussel sprouts. Big portions, enough to share around the table. Well prepared, served up fast and delicious. Excellent flavor combinations on the Brussel Sprouts. There is merch for sale including beer in coolers to purchase to take home plus a really nice selection of Barista prepared coffees. If you can't find something you like to eat here then you are definitely too picky as they also have sandwiches and salads. Our server, Jake was spot on, quick and came back with any special requests that we needed without having to wait around which was very very nice. Very clean location including staff members. I will say the pizzas were the definite highlight with the perfect homemade crust, excellent sauce, toppings, and really well prepared, and quick to arrive at the table. It's hard to find the perfect chew and texture on homemade crust these days. However, the cooks here have done a perfect job in creating some of the best pizza I've eaten. Highly recommended for families and groups and if needed outdoor seating is available along with warm weather venues. Really great time!

Customer service and general hospitality is big time lacking at both Herndon and Alexandria locations. Have had 3 back to back very poor food/service experiences. Today I visited the Herndon location, and ordered 2 beers and 2 sandwiches. Girl at the bar was busy yapping to her colleague and not paying attention to my food order because she entered it wrong- 20 min of waiting later, I go to check on my food, turns out it wasn't even put in. New bartender added it in. 20 more minutes later, still no food. Asked to have them take it off my bill, and they full out cancelled my order. Needless to say, we left hungry and very dissatisfied. Most likely won't be returning. Fix your communication with your staff Aslin!

Just ordered Kale salad. Sadly it was wilted with about 8 PE pita seeds and that's about . Lemony dressing on the side. I could have bought 6 bags of fresher prewashed kale at the grocery for the same. Super disappointed

Yes! Surprisingly the beer was actually superiorly good. Esp loves the mango IPA. Totally try their flight where you get 4 and you can try out a lot of their yummy beers. They also have a beer fruity slush... I didn't try it but maybe in a summery day. Parking is just street parking. Don't pull to the back because it's closed off to park.they do have an upstairs area to hang out as well. I would come back ~ super casual atmosphere and yummy beer selections.

Isolation DIPA (which is now out of circulation) was like drinking a spiked grapefruit sour candy. Volcano Sauce is my favorite fruited sour in the DMV. They really don't need my 5 stars bc their quality precedes them, but just thought I'd give them some love bc they soothed me after a vicious breakup. Thanks, Aslin.

Asked for an empty pizza box and found a massive cockroach inside. Kitchen must be extremely dirty. Wait staff walks through refuse on the ground without even trying to pick it up.

The best craft beer in the D.C. area is Aslin Beer Company and one of their best taprooms and beer gardens is in downtown Herndon. Here's why you should visit: 1) Beer: They have most of their beers on tap offered in half or full pours. Being a sour ale fan, I love Aslin because of their frequently-rotating sours on tap. They also sell their beer in cans each with a beautifully unique design. There's a food truck in the beer garden in case you get hungry. 2) Space: Right in downtown Herndon near the W&O Trail, the brewery is in a blue building. The bar is in the front and there are two indoor rooms with first-come, first-served seating. There's an outdoor beer garden that's very spacious. There's also a rooftop. 3) Art: The blue building itself is stunning and there's on-brand art hung up throughout the space. There's an old school mural in the back in the beer garden. 4) Inclusivity: Pets are allowed in the spacious outdoor beer garden and children of all ages are welcome before 7 p.m. 5) Safety: They do a good job of covid regulations. They wipe down tables often, staff are masked and there's a massive outdoor space. When we went on an October Saturday, they had a bazaar set up with different vendors selling crafts and goods.

We wandered in to grab a quick bite on a Monday evening and wound up staying for hours! This place has such a great setup! Food in one building, bar in an adjacent building with an epic patio in between. You can order food and drink by QR code and eat it wherever in the complex you please. We happened across trivia night and the guy running trivia was better than most charity trivia nights we've been to. I got a sour beer and a large pretzel with cheese sauce that was fantastic and my family split a pizza that they loved. There's also shufflepuck and arcade games-- if we lived in DC we'd probably make this our go-to Monday night experience.

I have had so many Aslin beers. I came to the restaurant for the first time. The place is huge. I love an open space to not too close to each other and there are many picnic tables outside. The service is very friendly, and they are knowledgeable about beer. Some beers are selling for ridiculously expensive. I would research their beers before you buy because expensive beers are not necessarily good, just like wines.

Location is great. Lots of parking. Decent room indoors by the taps. Outdoor seating in the sun or under a tent. Plus outdoor roof seating. Lots of choice. Beer: Lots of good IPA options, many emphasizing citra, galaxy, and/or mosaic hops. However, I wish they had some reds, browns, and less sweet stouts. I tried the Retroblast Imperial, which was tasty, but super sweet. Would have preferred in a small amount like the tulip size glasses at Adroit Theory. Service was excellent. Prices fit craft brew norms.

Updated review now that I've come around quite a few more times. The huge beer selection is great as always (though I wish they would offer flights), and the ambiance and aesthetics of this space remain awesome. Unfortunately I've been disappointed by Aslin's management of their dining options over my several visits and have also unfortunately encountered some not great service. Regarding the food - somehow over the last year, every time I managed to come, I was not able to get any food (until the opening of Izzi). Every time I came, there would be a food truck, but it would be closed by the time I tried to order food (I'm talking as early as 7/8pm - even if their hours were listed as being open later). Then, they were going to open another food vendor (I think Bun'd Up?) and I wasn't able to find hours anywhere - their website said it was closed every day. Izzi was opened recently, which I was excited about, except the prices are a bit unreasonable - $20 for a pizza (they're not big) or $9 for one (1) slice (just one!), as well as some other sandwiches/snack offerings that are a bit overpriced as well. These aren't huge concerns to me to be honest, however the bad service I've encountered on multiple occasions is. I'd like to add a caveat that I've had great servers/bartenders on some of the occasions, and some not-so-nice servers/bartenders on other visits. There's a difference between bantering with a customer and being outright rude or condescending which is something I've noticed with more than one staff member, and this is my main reason for docking a star.

As fans of IPAs, we were pleasantly surprised at their IPA selection. Everything ranging from West Coast IPAs to double/triple IPAs with popular combos of citra and galaxy hops. However, there's a vast selection of other beer including stouts, lagers, ales, and sours fitting for most anyone's tastes. Aslin is situated in the heart of downtown Herndon and has parking along the street and a lot in the back. There is a beer garden outdoors with picnic tables and chairs with additional seating indoors and even a rooftop with great views of the town and all the airplane traffic heading in/out of IAD. Very relaxing brewery with a great selection and although we did not try the pizza place attached to Aslin, we definitely want to the next time we are back!

Came for the Coffee and Cars event next door and decided to order some beers once the morning started to turn to late morning. Service is incredibly slow. Was told at the bar that the best way to order is through the QR codes at the picnic benches outside. Great - I usually love the convenience of that could of set up. However, it took a full 30 minutes to get two beers delivered to our table. It became clear that bar orders are taking priority over the QR code orders regardless of incoming order time. This is the first time I've been here and it isn't the first time I've experienced this level of experience. It was exceptionally disappointing this time though, considering how busy it isn't right now. The beer is, and always is good so we'll likely keep coming back even though the service could be improved.

Beer is amazing. I'm Not even a beer drinker. However, you need to spend a bit more money on installing some umbrellas in the outside black tarmac area. It is brutally hot in Washington DC and having two or three umbrellas doesn't work. Way too hot and. It is. Itthe same atmosphere inside ,go on take a trip to Costco it'll be worth it. Just saying!

The beer and pizza was delicious! The staff was very helpful and friendly in helping me order. I highly recommend this spot if you're a young professional looking to socialize with your friends.

After going to the Alexandria location, we decided to visit the new Herndon taproom. Overall, the experience was great and several of the beers really stood out. Quick note that some of the beers may not be around for long, so if you find something that you like, be sure to grab a four pack (or many!) Below are some recommendations with asterisks for beers that may no longer be available that I'm hoping will return. - Double Orange Starfish* (5/5) Please bring back! The Orange Starfish (3/5) isn't quite as special or captures the bright citrus notes. - Pinkies Up (5/5) QUINTUPLE IPA! This is my first QIPA and I cannot rave enough about it. 18.4% ABV says it all. This is quite a complex beer where the front, middle, endnotes are all so unique. I wish I had purchased a 4 pack. - Baby Shark (2/5) Sorry, baby shark. This beer was too sour and musty. - Asburn.jpg (4.5/5) What a funny name for a beer! A solid barleywine that's slightly on the sweeter side but still delightful. - Bale (5/5) If you like imperial stouts, this is for you. Coffee, chocolate, PB & Caramel that blends so well together. - Drippy Mits (4.5/5) A stronger imperial stout but somehow the flavors flow a little better in the Bale. If you were to try both, I'd try the Bale first and then the Drippy MItts. Cleanliness 4/5: The place is following covid protocol but there was still quite a few people indoors. They do have multiple tents outside, so hoping that the weather warms up a bit. Service 4.5/5: Helpful servers that let you know if a barrel is running low. They also offer a small tasting if you need! Ambiance 4/5: Both taprooms are pretty unique in branding themselves as a modern millennium arcade like decor. It seems like a neon PACMan machine would fit in quite well (perhaps post-Covid).

Food was really good. Smash burger was great. Nashville chicken and turkey sandwich all very good. Really like the lager beer. Beer service is slow. Had to go up to the bar twice to get our orders.

We stopped in yesterday for our first visit and were not disappointed! We only had one beer and chose the starfish IPA and it was absolutely delicious. Love the venue, it's huge with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the service was excellent - thanks Michaela! We will definitely be back!

We love their sours! We haven't had a single sour from them that we didn't like! Everything is so AMAZING! Anytime we go to Trader Joe's or some local grocery store and we see their logo, we always get it. Demonic Woodland Critters, Double Discount, Skidattle, Volcano Sauce, and Totally Cannon our some of our favorites! Beer Availability (1/5): However, though their sours are great, this location in Herndon is lacking. When we went, there were 2 sours on tap. We checked ahead of time to make sure they had more for us to drink, but I guess their site was not updated. We already had one of them, Volcano Sauce, so it was a bit disappointing to not be able to try a different sour. Ambiance (2/5): This place was PACKED. Very limited indoor seating and parking. There is an outside area that's tented (and I believe heated), but it was too cold outside to risk it. We will stick to picking up packs when we go to the grocery stores. Maybe the warmer seasons will be a better time to go here.

This is a great space, with plenty of seating inside and outside for groups of any size, conveniently located next to a pizza joint where you can get something to eat with your beverages. Parking is convenient either nearby on the street or in a large municipal lot about a block away. The beer list is pretty good, usually something for everyone. There were a few dark beers available today, and I enjoyed my Helsinki Porter (which doesn't seem to be available to order or with a description on their website).

5/5, multiple visits, 2016- present. Aslin is one of my favorite breweries. They combine both solid brewing skills with an adventurous style. They balance the need to have certain stand by choices with a constant rotation and experimentation of beers better than many other brewers. They make excellent IPAs, Stouts, and Sours. And there's a ton of variety both in and outside of those styles. The space is a good size and has two large bars, one of which is outdoors on the roof. While it's not huge they have done a great job of optimizing the space. They are also expanding to offer food and coffee from what I've read. There's parking in the area in a number of municipal lots. I definitely recommend stopping by.

I took a couple of guys who work for me there last Friday night as a holiday treat. the beer was good, I think we had 6 rounds of wheats and sours. I am addicted to the Volcano Sauce Sour. Service was attentive at the counter, just had a bit of trouble with the Toast POS ordering. the attached Pizza was fair, but pretty pricey. it was too cold to really use the tented areas, so it got crowded by 7pm inside. First visit, so I struggle to give a 5 , but lets see.

I have come here a few times and have enjoyed it! They have a very spacious outdoor area with covered picnic tables and some high tops. They also have an indoor space and a rooftop patio. I don't drink beer, but they have a wide variety plus a couple of seltzers and slushee drinks that I have tried and were delicious! The only downside is that they do not serve any food here, however, you are able to bring your own!

Location is great; located in quaint downtown Herndon they offer lots of seating options-whether outdoor under the sun or under a tent, or indoor at tables, booths, or bar seats; it is very easy to get cozy. Though while the place was gorgeous, the service was excellent (friendly funny bartenders), the beers didn't really impress....They have lots of options, well organized on their tap list to distinguish by both beer type and ABV%s, but most of the them sounded better in theory. Everyone has different taste, I acknowledge that, but it was a bummer to read a really yummy description and have the beer taste miss that mark (i.e not juicy enough, not enough flavor of what was in the description, etc). I love the location-wish the beer was better.

They have no respect for the community and do not care about their consumers. They refuse to shovel the snow from their sidewalks which is as town violation much like the illegal use of the alley and failure to dispose trash. Waiting for someone to fall on the ice cover snow like I did this morning and sue them for negligence.

Finally got the chance to try Aslin and it didn't disappoint! This place has a very ~groovy retro~ vibe to it. I loved the multistory seating - lots of places to sit for a relatively small brewery. I tried the passionfruit dragonfruit gose and it was perfect for a hot summer day. Next time, I plan on getting the mango ginger seltzer. They had a frozen option which looked delicious. Still plenty to try at Aslin!

Typical modern "hip" brewery with attached food service. Menu was 75% IPA varieties, which are not my thing. Unfortunately for me the QR code menu didn't have the beer descriptions, and I ended up ordering a lager (Italian?) that was hoppy and bitter. Ugh. Uses a QR code and online ordering system, which is half nice because you don't have to wait for a waiter, but also half annoying. Couldn't figure out how to do a soda refill through the online ordering. The place has two (or more) sides. One that looks more beer oriented, and one that seems to be attached to the kitchen and has a more casual atmosphere with couches and a few retro video games. Place was filled with 30 somethings, half of whom had decided to bring their loud children to run around the tables and the other half who were yelling to be heard over the noise. A weird vibe. If you like IPAs and don't mind annoying kids and hipsters, maybe this is your place. It wasn't for me.

Great variety of beer that caters to the IPA and DIPA crowd. There's a ton of seating options: indoor tables with TV viewing, 2 outdoor seating tents and a rooftop seating area full of a mix of tables and Adirondack chairs. No in-house food but they're currently partnering with a food truck to provide sausages (vegan options available) and fries. They welcome outside food but no outside beverages. 21+ after 7pm but kids are welcome during the day. Overall, a quirky vibe with quirky beers. Lots of parking behind the building makes it convenient to visit if you live outside the area. If you're biking the O&D Trail, it would also be a great spot to pull off near downtown Herndon/ Elden St for a refreshment.

Aslin is a great oasis that just keeps getting better! They've got a great outdoor patio with covered picnic tables and cornhole set up. Inside is spacious with a roof deck with a great view. Staff are great, Aslin is dog-friendly, and while there are food trucks and nearby food options, you can also bring your own food. Best of all - they have a great selection of tasty beers!

Aslin Beer Company is a great little bar restaurant in Herndon that has a terrific selection of beers and serves very tasty pizzas and sandwiches for a good price. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and attentive. Luckily, we were there on trivia night, and we got to play against 16 other teams. The Trivia dude, Kyle, was amazing. He is very witty, smooth, and entertaining. He had a great playlist of music and had the crowd rocking. It was an incredible experience on a Monday night, definitely something that you should try out, again and again!

Came here on a weekday in the middle of the afternoon so things were pretty quiet. I appreciate that Aslin does half pours but flights could be a nice addition to the menu too. I'm not a huge beer person but my friend is and unfortunately neither of us liked our drinks but we didn't try many so that's on us! They had a wide selection of different drinks to try so I'm sure there probably is something for everyone but we were just right on time. The one thing we were disappointed by was the food on yelp does not really reflect the food that is available. It looks like they maybe used to have Eugene's sausage as an option but when we looked at the menu it was just pizza and sandwiches. We felt the menu items were a little overpriced and could've used better descriptions for each menu item. The ambiance here is nice as the place is huge and even house outdoor seating in between the two bars. The decor was fun and their merchandise all looked really cool as well.

This is a wonderful and surprisingly large craft brewery, with warm, friendly staff. It's just not my preferred style of beer. Aslin has a large, bright, clean seating area with moveable 4-top tables spread around. Several TVs hang on the walls in the larger space. There're at least three outdoor seating areas also - an uncovered one beside the brewery, several large covered spaces behind the brewery, and a roof deck (or possibly two, as it looked like there was a larger one over the front of the brewery and a smaller one over the back). I didn't check out the roof deck, but the ground-level outside spaces had plentiful communal spaces at large picnic tables. There's a fun cheerfulness to the whole place. There's a good-sized bar at the front, staffed by friendly, helpful people; you can order directly at the bar or from your phone at your table via a QR code. Parking is in a good-sized open lot behind the brewery. The beer is mainly IPAs and variations thereof. I'm not a fan of IPAs (or variations thereof), but I could appreciate the creativity and clean quality of the few I tried. The extensive beer selection does include a few non-IPAs, which again showed creativity and skill in the ones that I tried; unfortunately for me, the dark beers that I prefer - all Imperial stouts the night I went - were far too sweet and syrupy for my taste. I wish I'd enjoyed their beer more as it seems like a fun place to visit!

Ughhh, I've passed this place a thousand times and finally my family and I decided to stop for pizza. I wish we kept driving. Maybe people like the beer? I don't know, but it can't be the pizza. We literally ate two bites of our slices and then paid the bill to leave.
