The 14th Street corridor is home to, well, not-so-many great indie coffeeshops, especially closer to P and Q streets.
The recent opening of Aslin Coffee changes that, and is definitely a welcome update to the neighborhood. In fact, Aslin Beer Company, with several locations around DC, took over a parking lot, turned it into a beer garden and added this all-day (and most days, all-evening, too) coffeeshop in the rear of it. It's super cute, has plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor, and provides great coffee and alternative milks with a smile. The baristas and friendly and helpful, and the service is generally quick.
Definitely will become a regular stop for my iced oat milk latte whenever I'm around this area of DC.
