Asparagus Pizza

First time I tried this place I didn’t know what to order so my mind went for the fettuccine Alfredo pasta with chicken for the rating from one to 10 I would say one the pasta was uncooked. The chicken was not fully cooked. It was chewy like a rubber, and the taste was not good. It tasted like old and the pasta was dry. Super bad. I will not recommend the pasta it was a small dish and cost me $$19. I should’ve got the pizza and also message to the owner. You should take that nasty pasta off the menu sir. No I will be back. I wanna try the pizza and if it’s good, I will leave you five star rating but for this one it’s a minus one.

Not good!! Found a rock in the veggie spaghetti half way through eating it. My husband proceeded to call the restaurant to inform them of the issue, they said it was "just a misplacement in the food" according to the manager. The lady that took the call did not seem to care, nor did the manager. We were told we would not be reimbursed, nor would the meal be discounted. It seems misplacements of rocks in the food is acceptable.

No idea who owns it but it gives off a family owned local pizza joint. Tables/chairs outdated but comfortable. Ordered a mini BBQ pizza and was well worth the money, although the regular size pizzas seemed costly. It is LA so price is more likely dictated by expenses. Will definitely stop back next time I’m craving some pizza.

The pie was delicious The guy at the counter was quick and kind It says open 24hr and got a good burger and pizza at 1 am!

I ordered a fettuccine chicken Alfredo pasta.. let me tell you, it has a weird smell, chicken is dry and none of it had taste at all. My girlfriend got a stake burrito and there's no taste in the food, no seasoning, rice looked old and tasted disgusting. First time eating from this place and it just ruined our dinner. I do not recommend this place at all.

Been coming here for years. Best pizza, hand made , nice crispy undercarriage and thin. Also the owners are always cool and friendly

Very friendly. I was a little thrown off after we walked in. They have pizza, pasta and Mexican food. My daughter ordered the chicken parm and I had two cheese enchiladas. We both enjoyed our food. See my pics

Ready 10 earlier than Grubhub told me.... which was awesome. I got the eggplant Parmesan sandwich and I have no regrets. I will come back again for something else! Nice service, fast and yummy!

Price was good but my delivery order was pretty messed up. Ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and there were pieces of ground beef on it, as if the sandwich was topped with a meat sauce. That was pretty gross to me. I don't really eat beef so I might have enjoyed it better if it was something I was inclined to eat in the first place. Chicken wings were fine. I think this is a place for late night cravings. Nothing to write home about, but might really hit the spot if you get the right thing for you.

I ordered a pizza through GrubHub, it was estimated that it was going to take 45 to 55 minutes to be delivered. When an hour and 10 minutes had passed, I tried to contact the restaurant, but none of the phone numbers listed on Grubhub, or here on yelp, were working (one was a fax line). GrubHub themselves tried to contact the restaurant, but could not reach them. GrubHub had no choice but to cancel the order. 10 minutes after they canceled they delivery people came knocking on my door with my pizza (a full 30 minutes late), then spun with pizza in hand and left due to the order being canceled. This establishment needs to have better communication, they need to answer their phones, and they need to adhere to time limits.

It honestly gets the job done for me! But I only get the Pepperoni with Jalapeño, sometimes Hawaiian and cheese. Good pricing, sizing and a nice crisp. (I don't know how the other items on the menu taste) As for service; they're very to the point.

5 Star LA pizza. A classic, no frills pickup spot that made me feel back home in the north east. Also this place doesn't rob you like every pizza joint on Hollywood and Sunset

I have lived in Hollywood for a decade on and off, this is my go to spot. Want Italian? Mexican? A cheeseburger? Breakfast at 11pm? Food is good, not expensive for Hollywood, convenient, nuff said

I have been ordering from here ever since I moved to Los Angeles seven years ago, and even though they no longer deliver to my area I drive to them because it is that good. I love these guys.

Hawaiian Pizza was fast delivery and piping hot at 2 am on January 1st. Seriously, like 15 minutes max to my door! Also, Garlic Bread for $3! Next time I'm going to try the Pasta or Mexican food that they now have on their menu! This place has upgraded in the last few years since I've been in Hollywood. WTG!!

Asparagus pizza is the most under-rated food place in Hollywood. They are low key, cheap, and delicious. Their Carne Asada is the best 30 miles or more around; And it's a Mexican saying this. My husband and friends recommend: Cheese Enchiladas, their pizza, and meatball sandwiches. So for realz...

As someone who grew up in the neighborhood, this pizza is always a go-to whenever you can't decide what to order for takeout. I got a meat lovers small pizza and fries. The pizza was cheesy and the meats were complimented eachother. I would go back again and order asada fries knowing that their fries are delicious!!!

This place is super hole-in-the-wall. We were headed to subway next door and when we passed this place, their huge yellow menu sign inside caught our attention. Being from outside the area, we decided to give it a shot. The young woman at the cash register suggested a small pizza and not the medium (as we planned to order) because it would be more than enough for 2 and she was right! The small comes with 6 average slices. We ordered it with pepperoni and each got a fountain drink; the total was only $20! For the price, the pizza was actually great! It was a bit greasy, hence the -1 star, but overall, it was delicious and pleasant. We dined in. The place is a bit out-dated but had kind of an "Italian" feel but with Mexican soccer on the tv. The place looked seemingly clean. There's also a small lot to park, but it looks rather busy because of all the other options in the small plaza. We parked on the street which has a meter. There seemed to be a variety of options on the menu, which seem worth a shot at trying. I noticed most reviews on this place are people ordering take-out, so clearly those reviews will be mostly negative because the food would no longer be fresh by the time of delivery. I would highly suggest eating in to have a better experience and get your money's worth. Again, if you're looking for something good, affordable, non-chain, and within the area, give it a shot!

Always order from this place. Wanted buffalo wings , ordered online , but delivery guy bring me spice wings which l cant eat .... and l call to the shop and guy just say the company didnt have this type of wings ... so why whould you selling this online ???? Thats not how you can treat your customers!!!

Called in a rather large order to be delivered within the hour and they handled it like champs. They have some great deals on the bigger pizzas (not sure if they're just for delivery), so it was relatively cheap to feed 50-75 people. In addition, I called to ask if they would include napkins and paper plates and that wasn't an issue. Food was delivered promptly and piping hot, with requested serveware. Had a piece waaaay later in the evening and it held up, but more importantly, I heard a lot of positive sentiments from guests about the slices!

If I could rate this place a negative, then I def would! When I last ordered from them, I ordered a tuna sandwich. Upon receipt, there was barely any tuna, just bread. So I called grubhub to complain about it (they were awesome btw) and refunded me the charge of the sandwich. So I tried to order from this place again (without the sandwich of course!) only to get a phone call from grubhub to let me know that they're refusing to take my order because of my complaint. So basically they're bitter cause I complained and is refusing to take any future orders from me. Wow.. don't worry! I'll never order from this place ever again!!!

I order from Grubhub I love this place when I come here for work every month I usually order one of my meals from this place. -White knight pizza delicious -2 soft tacos...the best! One time my order was a hair late and the delivery guy completely apologized. The order was perfect and tasted wonderful.

I pass this place up so many times when visiting the Yucca market or the panda express. I'm so glad I discovered this place and hope they never go away. Their pizza is fresh and tasty. I'm glad to know that we have a neighborhood mom and Pop pizza in the neighborhood.

Had a craving for buffalo wings... I know I shouldn't have necessarily ordered buffalo wings from a pizza place, but I rolled the dice. Placed order with Eat24... with their constant coupons, at least I didn't pay much for this mess. Wings were probably the worst I've ever had. Fatty. Not fresh. Gross sauce. Terrible. Just awful. Ordered side of fried mozzarella. Horrible. I surely hope these were frozen because I would NOT like to meet the cook that would claim credit for those things. Inedible. Never ever again. Lesson learned.

I ordered a pastrami sandwich, an order of garlic bread, and a bottled water tonight. The food came quickly and the delivery driver was really nice but I wasn't impressed with the food. The Pastrami Sandwich was soggy, warm at best, and the meat tasted like packaged cold cuts. It wasn't at all what I was expecting for a $9 sandwich. The Garlic Bread was just as sad with two soggy pieces of bread that were very lightly coated in garlic sauce. It didn't really taste like anything. Granted, this was a late night order but still. The food was edible and didn't make me feel sick, it just didn't feel like it was worth the price. I was initially going to give one star but I decided to give a two star rating because this is a pizza joint and I didn't order their pizza. Hopefully those are much better.

This is my local spot to where I live. The people that run and operate this place are very nice, shy but very nice :) Their steak quesadilla is g r e a t ! I also like their pizza :)

I dig this place. I'm a college student, so cheap pizza that's a stones throw away is great. Pizza slices are HUGE. One slice of pizza is big enough to be a meal. So that makes one of their specials very nice. 2 slices of cheese pizza w/ one topping and a medium drink for $6.94 + tax. So that's dinner and tomorrow's lunch for $7.50? Really good deal. It's also just good pizza. Taste-wise, it's comparable to any of the big chains. Great student spot. Highly recommend. Not giving it 5 stars because the actual restaurant could use a facelift. Interior is very dated, and some of the stuff around the counter could use some cleaning.

My husband and I order from here way too often. Free delivery has us hooked. The pizza is so good and they have the best fries. We'll branch out soon as they have several menu options. They are always super fast with the delivery too which we really appreciate.

They should update the times on their yelp. It's 1:45, allegedly it's supposed to be open til 3am, the doors are locked and 2 employees are sitting inside looking absolutely miserable.

Their pasta is amazing! I love everything on their menu. We order at least once a month.

Pretty good! The white knight pizza was 7/10, the asada tacos were 8/10. A little pricey, but hey that's Hollywood for ya! If I'm feeling a cheat meal and I'm in the area I would definitely come here again.

Terrible customer service. Worst experience I've ever had. We called to see if we could adjust an order, and the owner of the restaurant literally cussed my friend out and told her to not call back. As someone who's family owns restaurant chains in the LA area, this is unacceptable behavior. Do not order here unless you like terrible customer service and called a motherf*%cker by the owner. Save yourself the trouble. Order dominos.

I discovered this great restaurant few years ago. Its food is very, very tasty, their chicken wings are yummy. However my favorite dish is their carne asada. I am always ordering and having it delivered. Their pizza is very good and so is their pasta. I strongly recommend it to give it a try. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Also the flavor of their pasta and pizza is always consistent. A while back I was hanging out with my friends at my local bar in Weho and they delivered to the bar. They are very accommodating.

$7 for this disgusting garbage that tastes like it came from a sewer. New weird delivery guy that doesn't look you in the eye. Asparagus should just count their losses and close their doors or start using fresh ingredients again. Their food is s*** now

I got the artichoke mini pizza for dine-in and it might have been the best pizza I've ever had. The crust was cooked to perfection, not too thick and not too thin and crispy not soggy or burned at all. The toppings were incredibly fresh, it was made to order and the staff was so nice! It is small but decorated cute and welcoming, highly recommend!

I was just there for 10 montes standing at the counter while the restaurant was opened. I was never acknowledged and I couldn't order any food. I got frustrated and I left. I can't talk about the quality of their food since I didn't get to it, but they are clearly not interested in earning people's business in person around this time.

I order the Antipesta (check spelling) salad and chicken masala. Price is average for this area, delivery took almost 1.5 hours and when it finally did arrive the driver had spilled most of the pasta sauce, it was like warm and the noodles were very rubbery. The salad was ok. I'll never order from here again and I honestly want my money back.

I came back the other night to finally try the Mexican food here. I won't go into it, but it was truly, truly terrible. Sent it back and the checkout girl gave me a prompt, polite refund. Will be back for the pizza and calzone, so the four star rating remains.

I come here when I go to Parlour Room around the corner. The pizza is always fantastic and consistent. I definitely recommend for late night eats. It's easy and fast. We will even order our pizza via Eat24, wait at Parlour and head over when the pizza is ready. Don't know what all these one stars are about....I honestly think people gripe about anything and everything on yelp.

Eh, the food is okay but honestly you'll like the good anywhere else much much more. Nothing great. You can make this stuff at home.

I waited two hours to get my food-- this place is about a 15 min WALK from my house-- and the food was terrible. I mean, really, almost inedible bad. I was starving so I hate what I could and threw the rest away

I ordered from them via GrubHub. six hours later I didn't have my food and GrubHub had stated they delivered. Apparently, they had received the order, but "thought it was fake", they then spit all over my pizza. My order was inedible. Don't order from here.

People who work here are terrible! Made me feel very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place at all.

In my vow to never order from Pizza Hut or Domino's ever again so long as I live, Asparagus has been on my short list of acceptable pizza delivery places. They offer reasonably tasty salads, lasagna, calzone and even chicken wings! If you've got a football party, it's a good bet since they are pretty inexpensive, the portions are large and they are definitely better than the chain-store pizzas. Not the best pizza, but I like that the dough is chewy and soft and you can get decent toppings like fresh mozzarella and asparagus (duh). If you like white pizza (pizza with out the pesky tomato sauce) you will probably be satisfied with their version. Sometimes the employees who answer the phone make it hard to believe they are a legitimate business. After telling them my address and name (I had to prompt them to ask for these key bits of information) they interrupted me when I started to give my credit card information -- "wait, wait! let me write this down!". Um... you didn't write down my order or my address? Surprisingly the pizza got here in 35 minutes and the driver never had to call for directions to my house that is located in a labyrinth.

My favorite place to get pizza in Hollywood! Such great specialty pizzas. The crust here makes my mouth water.. Apparently two twins own and run the place... You can never tell them apart which is kind of amusing in it's own right. No beer or wine, but they do deliver. There's ample parking in their lot unless you go on a club night and they're about to close. Try the white knight pizza, it's raddd.

Asparagus pizza is one of my favorite hole in the walls in the neighborhood. It's family owned and very average. If you're looking for decent food at a decent price try it out.
