Aspen alpin lifestyle hotel

Dear Aspen, Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Thank you for reserving our desired room. The view of Grindelwald was spectacular from our balcony. Your staff—the hosts, drivers, reception, dining, & housekeeping—were so welcoming and met all of our needs. As you know, we ate practically every dinner here because the food was so good and varied; our compliments to the chef team. If any future guests are wary about how far Aspen is from the center of town, do not fret. The provided bus pass as well as the option of hotel shuttle can get you to & from town. Honestly, you want to be higher in elevation where Aspen is so you can enjoy the tranquility that the Swiss outdoors are known for. This was not our first Aspen stay and it will not be the last! See you next time.

Beautiful place to stay. We loved our room and the location. The staff was so gracious and friendly. The food (especially the breakfast) was amazing. Amazing experience-thank you.

We stayed 5 nights at the Aspen Alpine hotel and we are definitely going to go back. The customer service was outstanding and each person was extremely helpful, warm and thoughtful. The breakfast was excellent and the service was phenomenal. There are great public transport near the hotel that you do not near a car to get around the town. There are several excellent hiking trails from the hotel.

Hotel is very excellent, location was great, up hill with amazing view, friendly & kind staff. Thank you Aspen hotel for amazing & wonderful stay. Few suggestions: 1. needs play ground area for kids, 2. In room dinning was not satisfactory, no pizzas/pasta, no halal food, no kids menu, if u want to have lunch/dinner, u have to drive all the way to the village down to buy, 3. Needs to have A/C in both rooms, sleeping room + living. 4. For family rooms, having 1 bathroom was difficult to live with.

Online pictures don’t accurately depict how beautiful this hotel is. It’s nestled on the southern side of Grindelwald with breathtaking views of the town and mountains. We reserved a family room, and there was plenty space for 3 adults and 1 teen. Highly recommend.

I can't stop raving about this place. we stayed 3 nights here and I can go back to this place again and again. The location and views are simply majestic, staff is super friendly and make you feel at home, breakfast is excellent and the spa is amazing!

Wonderful and friendly service, good food and comfortable rooms. The views are absolutely breathtaking and it has a wonderful feeling of rustic seclusion that gives the entire place a calm vibe. Definetly recommend for a couples trip, or a family stay. Definetly very kid friendly.

Beautiful views , clean rooms and excellent service . Special mention to Romano ( front desk ) who helped a lot about the best seeing /activities around Grindelwald and Interlaken . Little far from terminal but its really worth every bit if u have a car . The restaurant food is awesome and can taste the freshness in evry bite . Excellent food and friendly staff .

We literally look this place up about every time we are in Switzerland! Up on top of a mountain after a beautiful winding road sits a gorgeous resort overlooking Grindelwald. We passed farmers raking hay and gorgeous Switzerland cabins along the way to reach it. We stopped in the resort for some of the best club sandwiches ever. We hike a lot while in Switzerland so this is a big treat. The resort is picturesque. Absolutely worth stopping in for and returning over and over. I can't hardly wait to be back at this dreamy place. Five stars Plus!!!! Amazing!!!!

Beautiful location and ambiance inside and out. ALL food selections were fresh and inventive. We had the burger, monkfish filet, filet mignon, and ahi tuna. All were fantastic! Great cocktails and wine list. Don't miss the desserts as well.

The Aspen Hotel is located on a slope away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The setting is gorgeous and the local bus picks up nearby if you don't have a car. This hotel is modern and high end and on the trendy side. We prefer the smaller, boutique family owned spots. Aspen has offers a full restaurant and bar, outdoor seating and spa. We were there in summer and the flies are out of control. I imagine in the winter it's a perfect spot for ski in ski out. If you're looking with a place that's more modern and less of the classic Swiss chalet style, with all of the resort amenities, this hotel may be a good fit for you. It's all very nice, just lacked personality .

Unfortunately I can't read German, so I can't understand the details behind Matthias' 3 star review. This place was great! Peaceful location on the mountain slope across from the touristy main street of Grindelwald, free spa access (steam rooms, hot tub, etc), a wonderful room view of the mountains, free parking for our car, and a lovely free European style breakfast each morning. We also ate at their onsite restaurant one night and thought the food was delicious. If we come back to Grindelwald, this is where we will stay.

Great Hotel in a lovely area. Room (Little junior suite) was very spacious and well equipped, buitlt with high-class materials. Unfortunately we caught a week of rather bad weather. Not really much on in the evening, otherwise you need to take your car and drive down to Grindelwald. Food/kitchen and service was excellent. Due to bad weather spa reached its Limits sometimes. Taking into consideration what we paid (room and halfboard) for 7 days we think it is not necessary to charge CHF 5.- per day for outside parking. All in all a pleasant and Relaxing stay.
